Great location, direct access from Tokyo station. Comfortable beds. Bathroom has essential amenities. However, wifi signal in room is a little weak, kept kicking us out. Another point to note for future travellers is that the breakfast is a choice between Western breakfast and Japanese breakfast - you can make only 1 choice per day. Western breakfast is a buffet plus one standard dish (eggs or/and toast) from a menu. Japanese breakfast is a standard breakfast set (no choices). Hence, those who are expecting a typical hearty Japanese/Western buffet spread like other chain hotels may feel disappointed with the breakfast arrangement at Hotel Marunouchi. But overall, it's a pleasant and comfortable stay.

This was my second stay at the station hotel, and it's incredibly convenient for transit. Upon arrival at Tokyo Station, you can walk towards the Marunouchi South Exit where a small door directly accesses the hotel, so you don't even need to go outside. This time, I booked the hotel's basic 36-square-meter room. The room had a peculiar smell, which I suspect might have been due to the humidity during the rainy season, making my stay feel uncomfortable. The room's location wasn't ideal either; it overlooked some equipment with absolutely no view. The 40-square-meter room type I stayed in before was much better. However, the hotel service and breakfast were, as always, excellent.

Environment: The room was spacious and the location was excellent. You could take the subway directly from the basement, and it was very close to Tokyo Station, making it convenient for Shinkansen travel. Hygiene: The hygiene was impeccable. Facilities: The bathtub was very comfortable for a soak, and the turndown service even provided bath salts. Service: The service was superb, and I particularly want to mention this: During check-in, I had a brief conversation with the lobby manager, Asaki Yoshiuchi, where I casually shared some personal interests. To my delightful surprise, on the day of check-out, I received a handwritten letter from this manager! The letter included a specially drawn illustration that cleverly combined elements of the interests we had previously discussed. He not only remembered our casual conversation but also took the time and effort to transform it into a personalized and thoughtful souvenir. You can truly feel the hotel's sincerity and dedication.

Every time I come to Tokyo, I will choose the Palace Hotel. After all, it is an old hotel with attentive service and impeccable service. It is about a 10-minute walk from Tokyo Station. There are always taxis waiting to pick up passengers at the lobby entrance. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the nearest subway station. It is quite convenient to travel. Every night when turning down the bed, pajamas are prepared. The texture is very comfortable. After checking out, I went to the gift shop downstairs to buy one to take home. The swimming pool is clean and comfortable. I will choose to stay again

I've always been a loyal fan of Ascott, but the Ascott Tokyo really left me speechless. Upon check-in, we were informed that the entire building would have a power outage on our last day, meaning all guests had to vacate their rooms before noon. What's more, luggage storage wasn't allowed, so we had to drag our five suitcases ourselves to the JR Tokyo Station, about a 10-minute walk away, and pay 5000 yen to store them. The hotel offered no compensation or even assistance with transporting the luggage to the station. Even more outrageous, the power went out twice in the middle of the night that day, causing the washing machine to stop mid-cycle and forcing us to rewash a whole load of clothes. Additionally, the power outage was announced to start at noon, but breakfast wasn't served at all that morning. At check-in, the front desk staff had us register for a new ASR membership and gave us breakfast vouchers, promising they could be used any day, yet when we tried to use them, breakfast wasn't available? What a joke. Please note, we were only informed of this entire power outage incident upon check-in. Why wasn't this communicated in advance? A power outage affecting the entire building is a major event, and the hotel must have known about it well in advance. If we had been notified earlier, we would have had time to choose another hotel. Instead, the hotel's complete inaction left us with no other options upon arrival. This is completely unacceptable in Japan, a country known for its excellent customer service!

We stayed four nights in two rooms. On the third day, the sheets were changed, but upon returning, we found obvious stains. Since it was already past 11 PM, we didn't contact the hotel, and the two of us slept in one bed. The other bed also had stains. On the fourth day, we went to the front desk to complain, providing photos. They said they should report it and told us to wait for a call. We didn't receive a call all day. When we returned to the hotel that evening, we asked the front desk. The night manager checked the computer and found we had complained, but didn't explain why there hadn't been any action taken all day. They finally offered to waive the room service meal fee for the other room. We didn't accept, but the result was the same upon check-out. Question 1: We weren't at the hotel during the day; we booked the Four Seasons specifically for a good night's rest. Is room service meal equivalent to a good night's sleep? What is the basis for this action? Question 2: After a whole day of processing, there was no response. They completely ignored our complaint. Is this the service standard of the Four Seasons? Or is it just that the sheets are often like this and it's not a problem? Question 3: The attitude was polite but arrogant. What justifies this condescending attitude? This is completely different from our past experiences with Four Seasons hotels and the service we've had in Japan. The photo below is incomprehensible and unacceptable.

The moment I stepped through the hotel doors, kicking off my shoes felt like coming home. Walking barefoot around the premises was incredibly relaxing. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were so warm and friendly, making me feel completely at ease. They explained the hotel amenities and menu as if we were just catching up with old friends. My room was quiet and spotless, and the overall atmosphere was calm and uncrowded – truly ideal for relaxation. The hotel's convenient location right by the subway station made getting around incredibly easy. I absolutely loved my stay!

The hotel offers friendly service and a prime location, but the entrance isn't immediately obvious. I took two taxis, but the drivers couldn't find it. We made reservations for two of the hotel's restaurants through the hotel staff, who meticulously prepared invitations. Both were excellent. Sushi Hosekhi and Omakasei, with impeccable ingredients, were both excellent. The Italian restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere, perfect for couples, and the food was very stylish. The surprise was the bar, located on the rooftop observation deck. It has both an indoor and outdoor area. The outdoor area is primarily for hotel guests. If you tell the staff you're a guest, they'll arrange for you to enjoy a tipple in the viewing area. A special thank you to Ms. Lily (the enthusiastic Chinese regional manager, applause!) for arranging a perfect table for us. Breakfast can be enjoyed in your room or in the restaurant. Fresh fruit and welcome treats are provided daily, along with soothing teas in the evening. All soft drinks in the mini bar without the Bulgari logo are complimentary. The Bulgari Hotel is a true delight for dessert lovers; the cakes and chocolates are delicious and can be purchased in the lobby. At the end of the check-out, a Bulgari luggage tag will be presented as a souvenir.

Facilities: Given the premium on space in Tokyo, this room was surprisingly spacious, fully equipped, and well-appointed. Cleanliness: Impeccable attention to detail meant everything was spotless. Location: The surrounding area boasted extremely convenient transportation and dining options. A 7-Eleven was just downstairs at the corner. Tokyo Station was within walking distance, Nihonbashi Station was practically on the doorstep, and Takashimaya department store was also easily accessible for shopping.

Booked 3 stays in my current Japan trip and this was one of the best stay I had! Location: Hotel Ryumeikan Tokyo, 1 Chome-3-22 Yaesu, Chuo City, Tokyo 103-0028 A 3-star hotel but a service like 5-star! Location: Conveniently located between several train station - Tokyo station, Nihombashi station and Mitsukoshimae Station - as well as the JR express bus station to places like Osaka and Mt. Fuji. Considering the multiple lines available, the exit out of the station can be confusing at first, but you'll just have to follow the sign. Here's some cheatsheet: 1. Exit A3 for Nihombashi station (use A4 if you have large suitcases) 2. North Yaesu (Nihombashi) exit for Toko station (it should be on right) 3. Exit B3 for Mitsukoshimae station (walk straight down 2 street - the easiest to find) There is so many shops nearby, you can even walk to Ginza in 10mins! Price and amenities The room was equipped with many goodies - from basic necessities like toiletries, bidet and drinking water; to extra items like facial products, pyjamas, bath salt, snacks, slippers and comb. The bed was very soft and comfy and I definitely had one of the best sleep in this Japan trip! The room was decent sized for solo travellers, there were plenty of sunlight and privacy. Check in and check out was easy and fast and they staffs were very friendly and helpful. Overall a great stay! Definitely give this place a try if you're visiting Tokyo for the first time!

We lived there with a group of 5 people. 3 bedrooms were perfectly suited. In apartment 2 toilets and 2 shower cabins, which is very convenient when you live in a group. You can cook yourself, but there is no washing machine. The location is quite convenient, the metro station is not far away, there are sights in the walking availability. Only the room cabinets were missing to fold their things, but it is generally a problem for Japan - mini-houses)

It only takes 10 minutes from the B&B to Shinjuku in Wang District, which is a good choice! Our family of 5 people (2 large and 3 small), the room was very clean, as the photo introduced on Trip.com; There is a large room with 2 double beds and the other room with a double bed, which is just enough to sleep in the larger room than 3 children. The homestay provides toothbrushes, shaving cream, shower gel, shampoo, moisturizer and basic tea bags and coffee. And the same good thing is that he can cook there, and I will book this one next time! Also make a Shabu Shabu!

Pretty good location in Akihabara, quite close to a few convenient stores (closest one is 1~2minute walk). Overall satisfied by the BnB Hotel, just wish there was more hangers for wet towels to air dry. For the shared area outside of the bedrooms, there wasn't any air conditioning or fans. It was very hot during hotter seasons even during night time. It makes it difficult for people to make phone call, or just using the shared space for any purpose due to the uncomfortable temperature. (You'll sweat even if you're just sitting). I might consider visiting again if I want to stay in Akihabara, but I'll rather find somewhere closer to Ikebukuro since there's where I go most often.

Good option for adequate money in Tokyo. The apartment is clean enough. There is everything necessary - kitchen, smart TV, table with chairs, kitchen, refrigerator, air conditioner, washing machine, dryer. The mattress is soft. The settlement is uncontacted, by code to the electronic door lock. The location is convenient - 10 minutes from the metro station and the electricians of Rigoku, from which you can get to Shinzhuk. Also near a grocery store, Japanese fast food gudon. There was a small problem with the settlement time, but the owner provided fair compensation, and it ended well. From the downsides - very small pillows, and in the apartment is dark because the windows come out on the stairs.

We were happy with everything! The perfect location for exploring Tokyo: 4 minutes from the metro, two metro lines nearby, which are very convenient. Norme is new and clean, we had room 201. The description says that it is a one-room number, but in fact it was 3 rooms! Norme is spacious and large! Everything is clean, a comfortable bathroom, in the toilet you can open the window and look out onto the street, we also liked that. The room is in a modern Japanese style, there is a tatami with a Japanese table for meals, we always had dinner on the tatami. The photos completely match the description! The perfect place!

We wanted to sample how staying in a home feels like in Tokyo. It has all the amenities including a sauna that is super nice. Location wise is situated at the outskirt of Tokyo which is fine if you are driving and wanted a taste of suburban lifestyle in this metropolitan. Just 3 minutes from the metro, and about 6 minutes to a large supermarket. The room is small, but it has a fridge and a microwave. It's a two-story room, with a futon for two people on the second floor. The only downside is that after it rains, there's a puddle on the staircase landing (it was there for about 4 days after the rain), which makes coming down the stairs difficult (the room is on the second floor).

Dormy Inn Ueno-Okachimachi boasts an excellent location, being just the shortest walk from Ueno Station. On our way, we even spotted a Torikizoku sign, and we ended up dining there one evening. Of course, with so many restaurants right across from the hotel and in the surrounding area, my 'choice paralysis' definitely kicked in! The main reason we chose Dormy Inn was for its large public bath, complete with complimentary popsicles and Yakult after a relaxing soak. Breakfast was also fantastic; the fried shrimp in the morning was absolutely divine. The breakfast was so substantial that we stayed full throughout our two-day stay, meaning we even skipped their complimentary Yonaki Soba (late-night ramen) in the evenings. The hotel only has one elevator, so there was a bit of a wait during peak hours. From our room, we had a view of the Tokyo Skytree. Despite being right next to the Shuto Expressway, there was absolutely no traffic noise, which speaks volumes about their excellent soundproofing.

Come to see Jay Chou's concert ~ 1. I found that I had to check in and found that I had a password to enter the door, but I didn't receive the hotel email in advance. I asked other guests (Europeans) that they had received the password from other platforms, so I don't know if it was a hotel problem or a Trip.com problem. 2. The quadruple room 6 and the bed 1 not only eat and drink in the room, but actually one person occupies 3 lockers. Music starts in the morning. The quality of the long-term residents is a bit low, and the room is small and not suitable for packing luggage. So when I checked out, I moved downstairs to sort it out, and the result was said by the proprietress...3. I didn't understand that the proprietress obviously knew Chinese, and WeChat was also Chinese. Finally, I checked out and said English. When I finally left, I used Chinese to make me praise... I wanted to come to Hong Kong. The demographic tone is also normal. Fourth, this should be one of the cheap youth travel in Tokyo, and it can also store the package. Although Europeans can put the hall, they ask me to put the garbage at the door... Basically, the room does not have wifi, and the hall is provided. Six, the upper bunk is really difficult to climb... Climb to the foot cramps, the bathroom on the second floor has no dry and wet separation, can throw clothes and towels outside the door, you can go to the first floor to wash, basically do not have to queue. 7. The map logo is not correct. I have been looking for it for a long time for the first time. If you book, you will see docomo going forward with a beverage machine and then turn right and go straight. Eight, whether it is to go to Haneda or Narita, this place is very convenient. If you don't have high requirements for accommodation, you can set this ~.

I stayed at this hostel for the second time (in 2025 and 2023), and it seemed much more social this time. The breakfast has improved significantly and now offers more choices, although there still aren't enough tables and chairs. The bathrooms and showers are good, and the showers provide shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel! However, the plugs by the beds only have one USB port, which is a bit inconvenient. We ordered takeout from Domino's down the street and intended to eat in the communal area, but by 10 PM on Saturday night, it was crowded with people drinking, leaving no room for us to eat. That was a bit disappointing. But overall, it's a great hostel! I would recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful hotel — truly beyond our expectations! My husband said we would have given 8 out of 5 if we could, because everything was satisfying: comfort, services, and location. It’s located near Tokyo’s Golden Gai area — great for exploring, but still on a quiet and peaceful street, which made sleeping very comfortable. All the staff speak perfect English, and we felt welcomed from the very first moment. The room was the most spacious we found in all of Japan. And the real highlight was the shared lounge in the lobby: from breakfast to the afternoon, they offer free food and drinks for all guests. On our departure day, we waited for our train while enjoying high-quality sake and Japanese liquors — such a special touch! Even when we woke up late, there were always fresh donuts waiting for us in the morning. The room cleaning service was great — just leave the sign outside and it will be spotless when you return. The hotel has everything you need, even a laundry room (we didn’t use it, but it’s very convenient to have). In short, comfortable, full of thoughtful details, and extremely welcoming. Highly recommended! We’d go back in a heartbeat.
