We booked this hotel for business trip in Messe Munchen. It is almost middle of nowhere, 15 to 20 min walk to U ban and then 50 min Journey to Messe. I would not prefer. Most annoying thing for me is continuous low pitch noise in the room, unbearable. It could be air conditioning or something I don’t know. Reception came and said I don’t hear anything. Room small but clean and bed comfortable. Best part of this Hotel is breakfast, lovely , lots of variety. Thank you for this but unfortunately location and noise in the room puts me off !!

- The hotel was not as it was shown in the pictures, the rooms were pretty cramped. - The guy at the reception wasn’t helpful as you would expect someone at the front desk be. I would suggest booking other hotels at the same price rather then this one. - the service was pathetic, our room key wasn’t working and we had to do to -fro from the reception to the room atleast 3-4 times, and we weren’t provided much help in this case. - The location is good though considering it’s near the metro line which connects you directly to the city center.

The hotel is beautiful. It is set right beside the English garden. Simply gorgeous. It is a little bit far from the main attractions of town. For example, Marion plots, and the glockenspiel. However, that simple taxi ride will get you there. The lobby is grand, and the staff is quite attentive. However, this is where we need to talk about the missing details. Some of the night staff did not speak almost any English. This made communicating quite difficult. I had this crazy experience of trying to get some ice cream for room service at around 1030 at night. Depending on who we spoke to, you could or could not get anything at that time. This is where two employees actually try to help me and go above. Anisa and Said. We finally got the ice cream. The chocolate ice cream was absolutely delicious. More details… All the hotels are strongly, encouraging guests to save water by reusing towels. I completely agree with this initiative. But if that’s the case, why couldn’t they give us a few more simple hooks in the bathroom? Another detail for hotel: shower temperature control is a mess after flushing toilet! Ouch. Breakfast area is very good. Good selection of food. Staff great. Very attentive. I would suggest longer shields in front of the food since everyone is sneezing everywhere. Another annoying detail - give water out for free! If we’re paying so much for the hotel, then the water should be free. As it is right now, you are charging almost 4 euros for one small bottle of water. That’s a rip off. I’m sure most of the clientele can afford the water bottle, but this really is a rip off. The going rate is actually about one or maybe two Euros . Don’t disrespect us with such ridiculous charges. Anyway, highly recommend this place. Would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Fleming house n Schwabing! It’s a fun location with a tram stop right in front, and a short walk to the U-Bahn. Rooms are clean and modern, no carpet thank goodness. Our room was small but enough for us; the bathroom has glass walls which might not work for everyone, not a lot of privacy. There’s a really good nespresso machine in the room but no fridge. Breakfast was fabulous! Everyone was very nice. Great experience:)

My husband and I stayed at the Munch Marriott while on vacation for a few days. The staff was helpful and professional. The lobby is going through a much needed update (during May 2023) - I would love to see it after the update - I think it will look amazing!. Our room, while clean and sizable, definitely needed an update. I am hoping that after the lobby update they continue the process to the rooms. The hotel is convenient to the U-Bahn. My husband and I were able to easily navigate from the hotel to ALL of the stops we wanted to make in the city.. The hotel staff was even able to get us our tickets on the U-Bahn, which saved us a stop before boarding. I look forward to staying here again after the updates to the hotel!

The hotel used for transit return, selected after the location, is very close to the subway station, there are Chinese restaurants, tea shop and Shanghai supermarket nearby. It is very friendly for those who want to eat Chinese food. There is also a supermarket in the subway station. It is very convenient for pharmacies and coffee shops. The subway to the central scenic spot is only about three stops. Looking for the address of the hotel should pay attention to the door control. Press the button of the hotel name to open the door. After entering the second floor, you can check in on the left side. If there is no receptionist, you can get the key by telephone.

The hotel was newly opened in 2023. All facilities are brand new, the service is also very good, and there seems to be preferential treatment for Chinese people. Not far from the British Park, it only takes about ten minutes to walk there. It is a little far from the city center, and there doesn't seem to be much to visit around. There are many large international companies and other big-name hotels around, which is suitable for business trips.

This is a lovely warm hotel. We arrived late due to rail strikes, which made transport to the hotel a pain. However, once we were checked in, we were straight up the the room which was toasty (really toasty!). Breakfast was a continental buffet style with plenty of everything and some of the items changed on a daily basis. The hotel bar was open on Saturday and Sunday, where their barman, Boris was extremely friendly, warm, polite and helpful. He also takes a keen interest in football. I would also like to give Filip and his team at reception a shout out as they were extremely helpful. For those who read the reviews saying they could not speak either English or German, we found this to be simply not true. Their English was fluent as was their German. We had wanted to come back out to Munich specifically to stay here again this year but unfortunately that will now have to wait until next year. If you want the u-bahn, it is a 2 minute walk from the hotel reception (turn left from the door, left again, cross at the lights and you are there).

For a tourist, the best place to live in Munich is Old Town. This hotel is located in an ugly building. Also, the lobby is quite modest. The breakfast room is stylish. The breakfast was very pleasant with a good selection of food. We were lucky that our room was ready on arrival at 11:15. We had booked a comfort room that is the second-best category after the only suite on the 7th floor. Our room was located on the 5th floor. The views were not great. There was a building opposite the narrow street. Our room was quite spacious with a separate bedroom and living room. However, the living room was very sp****ly furnished, with just two small chairs and a table. There would have been room for a sofa. The bathroom was small but quite functional. On our last day, there was a strange incident. Our room had been cleaned while we were enjoying breakfast. We had left all our stuff on the bed in the order to quickly pack when we returned from breakfast. However, the bed had been made (probably with the sheets we had used). Hopefully, the room was recleaned after our departure. Because of the location, the value was somewhat better for the paid 236 euros per night than in our first hotel, Cocoon Hauptbahnhof. A small minibar replenished daily was included in the price.

Breakfast is included, and the breakfast is rich and good. There is a small cooking table on the side of the entrance. Although the sparrow is small and complete, it has pots, pans and dishwashers. The parking lot is the one with the big hertz written on it. The hotel sign is relatively small and I didn't see it. It was only found on the day of picking up the car. We parked by mistake and parked in the parking lot of the next motel 1, but when motel 1 paid the parking fee, the enthusiastic brother at the front desk said it was okay. He paid the parking fee and gave the ticket. The parking fee is much cheaper than the designated parking lot of the hotel. Piece

I stayed at this hotel many years ago when I attended Oktoberfest and was quite pleased. I had booked again, this time to bring my family to Oktoberfest 2020. I understood they had a no cancellation policy and I had no intention of cancelling as our flights, rental car and other hotels were booked. Unfortuntaely, due to Covid 19, Oktoberfest was cancelled. In this case, I reached out to the hotel to ask for a credit or refund, with a credit for 2021 Oktoberfest acceptable. Their response was no, no refunds or credits. Now, the EU will not allow travel from the US to Germany, so I cannot go even if I wanted to. I renewed my request for a refund or a credit. I have not received a response. I have travel insurance but they will not cover because it is pandemic related. So buyer beware....this hotel will not issue a credit or refund, even if you cannot travel to their country! This is very poor customer service. I understand a no refund policy, but given the circumstances they should have worked with me, everyone else has.

It was absolutely pleasant short stay in February 2023. We made booking by mailing the hotel directly. The reservation person , Ravi, was very helpful during the reservation communication. The hotel has a very convenient location - few steps from Central station.-so one can move around the city with no issues The check in was very smooth, Daniel, receptionist, was very welcoming and efficient at the same time.Thank you, Daniel. The room was of right size, clean and cosy, bathroom was tiny but shiny clean with all amenities one might need during the short stay. WIFI is good, stable signal. Highlight of the stay - breakfast: so delicious options to choose from! Dear restaurant team, thank you very much for fabulous breakfasts! Good value for money paid. The location is good -- quite yet close to main attractions. there are no restaurants nearby and it feels a bit ”suburby” at night. you have a feeling that you are not in a major city. rooms are clean and spacious; bathroom is fine and modern. the biggest disappointment is WiFi - basically, it is unreliable. the hotel clearly does not want to invest in a high speed WiFi. what it has reminds the 1990s - you do not have to dial up, but the speed is the same. unworkable. the second biggest disappointment is AC. rooms get hot very quickly in the summer. there is no way to cool them down. air-conditioning is like WiFi - present but dysfunctional. maybe this is a hotel for winter stays? So, if you do not plan to work or stay that much in the room, this is not a bad deal. otherwise - look for something else. the place needs to be re-thought and re-made. i notice that the same complaints have been made for several years, which it means the owners do not really care. so, maybe, it is the time to go elsewhere or insist on a deep discount!

Everything was excellent. Few steps from S-bahn and U-bahn stations, 1 minute :) 4 stops to Marienplatz (city centre) with u-bahn. 4 stops to central train station with s-bahn. Only 15 minutes. Breakfast was excellent. You can find Mediterranean breakfast; olive, tomatoes, lettuce, fried eggs. There are many more alternatives. Because of its location and excellent breakfast, I would stay there if I go to Munich again. But there isn’t mini bar. I prefer cold water even if it’s snowing.

The hotel is located 2 minutes from U-Bahn station Theresienwiese, very close to Oktoberfest venue, and 20 minutes easily on foot to Marienplatz. For the price we paid you will not find a better one in the central area of Munich. The room was ready before noon when we arrived. While reading other guests' comments, I wonder if we stayed at the same hotel? Some of the guests complained that they were freezing, sleeping with their coats over blankets – however it was quite the opposite! Because of these comments I took my warmest pyjamas with me that I did not wear at all, as it was very warm in the room (we stayed 5 nights in December). The radiators can be adjusted manually as you please, from cold to super warm! Some other said they had only one towel per person, we had two and one for the floor, and they were changed whenever we threw them on the shower floor. Room was cleaned daily, and it was quite large, with nice seating area, perfectly quiet (our room was facing the yard, 3rd floor), with comfy beds, super Wi-Fi (very strong signal). It is not luxurious, but nothing was lacking in the room (even the hairdryer was there, obviously other complaining guests could not find it, as it was in the desk drawer). Breakfast was standard and decent, the only minus for us was the lack of scrambled eggs. Staff was very nice and helpful and I would recommend this place without hesitation!

I'm really conflicted about this hotel, in some ways it's a great hotel and in others not so much. I'll start with check in, I booked a ”Queen bed” which to me means bigger than double especially as there is an option for just a double. so had to pay to upgrade to a ”executive room” which had the bigger bed, so another €60 on to our bill, but was discounted from €90. room was big, bed was very big and very comfortable. had to ask for a kettle (had a coffee machine but no kettle) had a minibar so a fridge which the first room didn't have even tho website says a minibar. all rooms have balconies but no furniture out there so I had to ask for chairs, also dont think the balconies have been cleaned in a while, i left foot prints in the dust. bathroom was old and needs refurbishment, shower pressure is rubbish, water drains very slowly and bath has all gone rusty. our first room was right next to the second room and overlooked some car park but then right next to it is a factory and then behind that some excavation work is taking place, the 1st night all was quiet as it was Easter but the second night from 3.30am lorries with there reversing noises where going on and that night the factory noise went on till almost 10pm. this is not the hotels fault- but if booking a room I would ask for a different location for room. breakfast was beautiful, everything u would want, all presented lovely and u could have omlette made to order. we used the resturant the 1st night, the food was very nice but very expensive- but we later found out this is how Germany is. Husband used the gym- mini gym as they call it and it is mini but it kept him happy for an hour. pool is a added bonus but pictures make it look bigger than it is, Sadly it was far too cold for me to get in and the steam/sauna are only turned on at certain times and we missed the time slot but they both looked good sizes. all the staff we came across, from reception, to restaurant and breakfast staff and especially the cleaners were lovely, very polite and helpful if u have any questions or requests. we would stay here again if it was the original price for the larger bed and if we had a different room location.

Very nice, large and quiet room, love for the detail lacked. At the time of a family member's clinical purchase, I was 4 nights guest at the Empress Hotel. The room was badly cleaned, but this was corrected immediately after my complaint. I was located in the back building, this had the advantage that it was really quiet here, but unfortunately the access path was very poorly illuminated in the evening and not sufficiently widespread or freed from snow. The TV could not be switched off via the remote control, I had to pull the plug, the window which was kicked, I could not close, because here the safety bottles were pressed to protect the intruder and the heft therefore I couldn't use the safe because it didn't work. I also informed the hotel manager, but the shortcomings were not removed during my stay. The Wi-Fi was a single disaster, I used a lot of data volumes because I didn't notice at first that I had to constantly re-select. In the evening, nobody was to reach, I found something scaring. The breakfast buffet was OK, but my musli had to eat from a plastic bowl that I found strange. Dry flowers at the reception are not bad, but have left the impression that I could see everywhere that love is missing in detail.

This is a great place to stay in Munich, especially if you are going to stay in the city for several days and want to settle in. The rooms have kitchenettes stocked with cooking utensils and dishes, and there is a Rewe supermarket next door. The rooms are large and comfortable. The location is slightly off the beaten path, but there are good bus lines close by and the best part is you are just steps from the river and the trails alongside it. Having stayed centrally in Munich on another trip, we appreciated how the neighborhood wasn't loud and busy. The hotel breakfast is solid, and staff were friendly. The hotel is a fair way out of the city centre, however there is a tram located close by. There are a couple of shops and cafes within a 10-15 minute walk, other than this, there is not much close by. The hotel looks nice online, however the rooms are extremely dissapointing. The bed is massive, and yet the duvet and pillows look as if they belong on a single. The room itself was quite scruffy, with marks all over the walls, mould in the shower and an general odd odour. The toilet is seperate from the shower room, which is useful, however the door for both the shower room and toilet is shared. The toilet flusher kept getting jammed, resulting in constant running of water, this was fixed by trying to pull the flusher back level with the wall. The walls to the shower room, and the shared door are both made of glass, meaning that in the middle of the night the other person in the room is woken by the light coming from these rooms. The curtains do not fit the windown frame and are not blackout. Alot of light comes through both the curtain and round the sides. Online it states the room is soundproofed, this is not the case. The room was noisy and we could hear people outside and in the corridors. The bathroom includes a built in hair dryer, whcih looked like it was made in 1970. There were not enough plugs in the room and the mini fridge was not cold enough. There is a safe, which comes in handy for passports etc. The room also has a basic coffee machine, but we were only given two pods, after they were used, there was no more coffee in the room. We chose not to have breakfast as it was overpriced, especially when a short tram ride takes you to the centre of Munich, where lots of cafes offer much cheaper breakfast. The one positive about this hotel is the WIFI, its pretty good. We would not return.

Good for solo traveller as the space is really small, no frills. However, location is great and the room is clean. It’s like an upscale hostel with only towels, soap and shampoo available,
