|1.18km from city centerIt is good to know that Custo Club owners should be informed in advance, at what time you arrive, so that they can meet and greet you personally. Beside a message just after the booking, I received a text message a day before arrival with a question, when we arrive in order to be at the apartment and hand over the keys. As communicated, we came at around 1 p.m. and were greeted by Kirill, who explained us a bit about the city itself, where to buy food on weekdays and which shops are open at the weekend. You can also get discounts for instance for the sunbeds. Just ask and he will explain you everything! It is important to know that Custo Club is like a villa with apartments, where you have a fridge and all facilities to cook, if you want to. If you like to chill at the hotel, they have a lot of things - a pool and table tennis, dumbells, etc. The motto of Custo Club is ”may all who enter as a guest leave as a friend”. The only disadvantage is that you have to check out at 11 a.m. The beach is reachible within 15 minutes walking.

|0.88km from city centerI stayed at the hotel between 17.5 and 21.5. The hotel is outdated, the dining room is reasonable and the pool is standard. However the customer service is very poor. We booked a room for 2 people, arrived two co-workers, got a room with a double bed. We were told to call room service and they would come and split the beds. We called, the guy who arrived said that the beds can not be changed because the base does not allow it in the room and if you want you can arrange the sofa bed as a bed - in the same breath he recommended calling the reception to change our room. I went to the reception, I mentioned the situation, the clerk could not help and referred me to the hotel manager - she just shouted at me that I should not come to her or contact her, I told her that the receptionist referred me to her so I came - it did not really interest her. Realizing that another room I was not really going to get, I asked the room service to arrange the sofa for the bed. Room service arrived again and brought us a blanket sheet and pillow. I called customer service, said I did not pay less than any guest at the hotel, why should one of us sleep on a couch ?? The employee told me she had nothing to do, I asked a principal to get back to me. To this day (after the holiday) I am waiting for the same call. We slept with two adults when one was in bed and one on a couch (that could not be opened!) For an entire vacation. Another point, you can also get- Room with a view of the garbage cans and a wake-up call at 7 a.m. with a truck coming to evacuate them.

|5.65km from city centerLovely hotel, relatively quiet, which for us is great. Not in center of town, and that may be one of the reasons why it felt so relaxed even though the hotel was fully booked. No music in ant if the public areas, hallelujah! Excellent food, varied and fresh. I eat gluten free, friends are vegetarian, meat eaters - there was plenty for each taste. Three pools leave plenty of space for swimmers. Nice lounge beds. And above all - fantastic, attentive service. At reception, dining area, pool. It's not a luxury hotel, but it's definitely very good, and super fun for families. We will certainly return. One note however- the rooms closer to the road are a little noisy, the window is not double glazed. I am also very sensitive to light. There is a heavy curtain, but light seeps in from the side, which bothered me. All in all, highly recommended

|1.25km from city centerThe facility is nice but lacks of details and service you expect from 5* hotel. Rude stuff at breakfast, the guy who turned out to be the manager refused to prepare Soya capuchino claiming they don’t have soya milk. Eventually someone else made the coffee for me, with soya milk… The COVID rules are not really enforced, lots of people without face masks everywhere. The customer is not always right, we had an issue and tried to reach senior customers relations, but all we could have is a shift manager that we were not happy with his attitude, I asked to call me but he explained that this is my right to disagree and if i like I can write an email. Well, for me it’s pretty simple, I pay for 5* cause I want 5* experience and service, I’d rather leave my $€£ else where next time!

|1.16km from city centerFirst time in Aria, and while it has some good, the overall experience was poor. On the good, rooms were new, comfortable, clean and bed were very comfortable and spacious. Food at dining room was great, and there was a lot of choice. View from the room was great and hotel location is very good. But that's where it ends. Overall theme as a first time guest in Aria was no. No service in hotel facilities (gym, pool side bar, kids club) when you need it, opens late, closes early, and almost never on advertised time. Check-in process was long, cumbersome and staff was short and unpleasant. Hotel maintainance and sanitation is probably the weakest point. Corridors were smelly, very dirty, and broken accessories, wall tiles and really anything were the main design theme. People were smoking and drinking alcohol EVERYWHERE, with zero supervision by hotel staff, very unhealthy and unpleasant even for smokers, not to mention families. Hotel is advertised as luxury, and it does show that an effort was made to be one. Unfortunately, it comes short on many key hospitality aspects, in some even when conpared to 4 star hotel of it's competitores - thus providing very poor value for the price, and light year away from it luxury ambitions.

|1.62km from city centerHad a great time at Dan Eilat. I was there with my family for 4 days and have to say the hotel was accommodating, extremely clean, friendly staff and great service. I also hosted the Capital Market Conference there and it was a great success, much due to the amazing hospitality and service provided by the hotel staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and colleagues.

|0.95km from city centerThe Caesar in Eilat was the most disappointing hotel for me during my 25 days of sightseeing in Israel. From the environment to the facilities and the attitude of the staff, it is completely different from Caesar in Tiberias. The hotel environment is extremely ordinary, completely inconsistent with the level it is marked on, and the room facilities are outdated. The first thing I noticed when I checked in was that the balcony door was broken. I called and asked for repairs. The repairman was very nice but they had to go back and forth several times to get tools and it took more than an hour to fix it. The sound insulation of the hotel is very poor, and the room given seems to be a room on the podium floor, and the corridor is crowded. The breakfast environment is also noisy and the food is not rich. Fortunately, we only booked one night and moved to another hotel nearby the next day.

|0.85km from city centerThe last time I was at the Dan Panorama Eilat was in 2019, Pre Pandemic. Truthfully, I was not sure what to expect. I was not disappointed. Let's start with check-in. I arrived at the hotel at 10 PM. Due to the new App that the Dan hotel has, I was able to already be checked in. By the tie I got to the hotel, all the receptionist needed to do was hand me my key. After a long flight and long drive to the hotel, that was exactly what I needed when I got to the hotel. Also, the receptionist on duty was kind, professional and friendly. Food- The dining room breakfast is very good. They have something for everyone. Different Fishes, cheeses & vegetables. They have plenty of different types of egg, pancakes, cereals and pastries as well. Personally I loved the fruit. I also ate dinner in the hotel dinning room. They had a huge selection of foods for everyone. Personally, I thought the entrecote burgers they had were absolutely amazing. The room- I booked a terrace level room. It comes with a large terrace and jacuzzi. When the sun rose and set, the terrace was a great place to be. The room was spacious and clean. Executive lounge- Along with the terrace level room came access to the executive lounge. This is a great place to relax after a great day of touring. While the selections are not a lot, what they have is good. Also, they do have items in the kitchen they are not put out like soup and pastas. The mushroom cheese ravioli I had was out of this world. Service- There was on issue that happened during my stay. However, once the hotel heard about it, I was immateriality contacted by Ruet of Guest Services and she handled the situation with the utmost professionalism. For, that, I thank her! The one piece of advice I have is the hotel should re-evaluate certain times within the hotel. For example, the dining room opens at 7:30 AM. This is a little late if your starting your day early. The executive lounge closes at 9 PM. This seems a little early. These are just suggestions and should not be seen as any type of criticism. All in all, I had a wonderful time at the hotel and will certainly return.

|0.91km from city centerAfter a bad experience at Caesars in Eilat the night before, we moved to Neptune early the next day. The staff welcomed us warmly. Although the room was not completely ready, the enthusiastic front desk staff helped us check in first and informed us that they would call us when the room was ready. Although the room was not big, it was very clean. There is a large swimming pool and private beach below. Because the Red Sea beach was really bumpy, we finally chose to swim in the hotel pool. The breakfast is rich and the hotel is very close to the long-distance bus stop. Rush back to Tel Aviv before the Friday Sabbath.

|5.44km from city centerPROS: Very clean Very friendly staff Nice location: sea view from the room, quiet an relaxed location far away from all the noise and the crowds of the main hotel area Nice and very clean pool Great breakfast CONS: Parking: small parking lot of only 14 cars of which 3 are handicap spots. There are 3 more spots in front of the main door and if all is full you need to park on a white/blue spot (of which there are plenty) and pay city parking of 25 NIS a day. The beach: they have a pretty large shaded area with beach beds and chairs which is free for the guests but there is no hotel supervision and there are people from other hotels using it and it can get busy. Also there is a kite gliding Center near by and when they are active if you in the water you’re afraid if you get one of those huge kites on your head it will not end well. One afternoon those guys from the kite place decided to have a bbq party under the hotel shaded area and they had a boom box with “music” so loud we had to leave and go to the pool. Nobody from the hotel was there to tell them they are bothering us. Bottom line: we’ll go again. We enjoyed the stay. All the cons above will be nice if they can fix but they were not a deal breaker for us.

|0.04km from city centerWas originally going to stay here for a week, but my family preferred to stay in an actual B&B that a hotel, so I tried to cancel my booking a few days after I made it over 2 weeks in advance. The host of the place ignored the cancellation and when I tried calling him he pretended he didn't know any English. Finally via a third party we got our stay there cancelled with the exception of the last day, we agreed to stay for one night because he was refusing any refund whatsoever. And for one night he charged 1000 shekels rather than the normal price. Also adding a service fee and his own ”cancellation fee” making the price of the room more than that at a nice hotel, or even comparable to a week stay at the other b&b we stayed in. (which was far far nicer and had all of the essential amenities) However, the person who runs the place is rude and a money hungry con artist. The only reason why we even considered the place to begin with is that we were told that we would have 2 rooms, 3 beds, with a Jacuzzi bath. My elderly mother wanted to soak in the jacuzzi tub. When we arrived we found out that the guy who had pretended not to speak any English when I had called multiple times, was actually fluent he just didn't want to do it and ended up adding fees for late cancellation, when he was the one who refused to communicate. He gave us a terrible room, it was 4 beds in one room with a shower, nothing at all like the room we were advertised. And when we confronted him about it, he didn't care nor did he attempt to rectify the situation. I told him that what he was doing was false advertising, and that it's illegal. He didn't care and then went on a ramble about how this was the standard in eilat and we don't know, when it's obviously not judging by EVERY other place we went to and stayed at. The free parking mean you park on he side of the street wherever you can. Thier great location means tucked away in a dirty construction area in a one way alley, whatever nearby stores they spoke of are closed down. And it's certainly more than 10 min walk to the beach. There was only one working outlet for 5 people, and almost no essential amenities such as toilet paper, towels, blankets etc. The place was dirty and the bathroom was moldy, there was no privacy, the doors are designed so you cannot lock them for security or privacy, terrible lighting and no natural light, the blanket provided was so small that an average adult can't fit under it, the beds were hard and lumpy and the room was chilly and humid. I was unable to sleep at all during my stay, niether was my wife, mother or children able to rest or relax in that prison cell style room. We will never be back to this place again, nor will we ever recommend this place to anyone. The common areas are cute and cozy, but the plants are not maintained. What was once a beautiful garden is now a dilapidated mess of slowly dying plants. If you are considering it now, I warn you now. DO NOT STAY

|1.8km from city centerIn short hotel is fine... just fine... But those looking for a real review, there are highs and lows. Highs: The staff is friendly and they are everywhere, cleaning the pool, the buffet area and the rooms (our housekeeper on the 11th floor, I think his name was Mohamed, was amazing!!) The pool is big and towels are plentiful even when it is busy. Drink and food prices by the pool are reasonable for a resort. High but reasonable. There is a small convenience store just to the side of the hotel where you can buy cold drinks to take to the room. The AC works well, except when you are asleep and the motion detector clicks the AC off and you wake up sweating and need to wave your arms around for the AC to kick back on. Towels were fresh and clean. Lows: The food is just not good. It is pretty and plentiful but has no taste. (there were 2 items in 4 days that we loved. The spicy fish on Friday and the Bahn rolls with Asado on Saturday). Besides that everything needed salt and flavor. The ”chef” who cut the salad was super nice and made everything fresh. The hotel is old, old, old... Hot in the elevators, much of the old areas that used to be cool are closed down, even when it was packed. The floors are clean but look old. Rooms are again, old but clean. The buffet area, again, old and clean. You just can't keep the old and clean for 25 years, hotels need renovation. Check-in takes forever. Most people come in on Thursday or Sunday. Put another few people on the check-in for the busy hours... come on people...service!! Lifeguards - there are 3 that I saw but only 1 actually did anything. One of the guards was 100% sleeping while on duty. And one guard for 2 pools is never enough. All of it could be so much better if the food was good. We would even overlook the old rooms and public areas. But eating there breakfast and dinner for 3 days, we just felt that we had to leave on the forth night for dinner. Couldn't take the blah anymore. If you are looking for a great restaurant try La Cucina, just down the boardwalk. Oh - one more thing. We had 90+ people in our group and the hotel wouldn't set us all up in one area for Shabbat dinner on Friday. So much of the benefit of being together is doing Shabbat together. What's the big deal? You have a company paying so much to bring their people and you can't find us a corner to reserve for one evening? That's just bad business. For that reason, more than anything else, we will not return to Herods. if a company doesn't want our business we will take it elsewhere.

|0.34km from city centerThe hotel itself is decent enough and in a good area and all the major areas of Eilat are accessible, with shops and restaurants well within walking distance of the hotel. The room was decent and fairly sized and all the in room amenities were good. The breakfast was also nice with a wide variety and well presented. Where did the hotel fall short. When our room was serviced the beside were not made the duvets were just thrown out over the maters not at all remade. The main thing and it’s simple to fix , the staff were rude , disinterested and barely smiled. I would say they scowled more then anything. The front desk staff were the nicest of the lot but the lady that requested your room number for breakfast was literally so rude I was shocked. The other negative was the parking area for the hotel and the reception area outside of the hotel were filthy. Litter everywhere and no care that it’s the hotel grounds. For what you are paying I thought it was genuinely average.

|0.31km from city centerPros (many) Shiran, Vivi, Sivan reception attendants were professional ++ Price: even cheaper than Eilat youth Hostel with a full breakfast 1. Room Basic But Spacious + Kettle, coffee, tea, big fridge + Bathroom with really strong pressure and very hot water which is great 2. Parking + 25sh/day but enough free spaces not far, easy to find (I found 3 different areas very close or close enough) 3. Good/Bad (depending on your preferences) Location: right at the center of Eilat 4. Free Sunbeds 20min walk till Maman Beach, but then... free 5. Breakfast ++ very good, great diversity No tailor made espresso nor eggs but then for this price what you get is way more than expected Just look at the attached pictures Cons (many as well) Shiran, Vivi, Sivan reception attendants were just professional, not really nice nor pleasant Room: just Basic 1. Noise - one of the worst hotels ever Not soundproof at all: I even heard my neighbors' alarm clock at 4:50Workers and neighbors spoke loudly and even shouted in the very long corridor. They felt obliged to share their joy and happiness when coming back from a restaurant or nightclub at 12pm, 1am, 2am and up till 4am...awful Fortunately I had brought my earplugs with me. 2.Window and Curtain There is Always some light. No real darkness Fortunately I had brought my sleeping mask 3. TV hardly visible: less than 10 stations but worse, quality was awful) 4. Location: not really close to from the beach (10min walk when …hot) 15-20min walk till the sun beds on Maman Beach, but then again … free But then again... you'll have to cope with rap music or worse ”wailing” middle eastern music, at full volume of course. Not everyone cup of tea Bottom line: for the price and breakfast otherwise...
