We stayed in a very comfortable hotel room located on the ground floor. The room is very light n breezy and we could park our car outside our room which made it very easy to load and unload our baggage. It was also an easy walk out to the beach which is across the road. Opposite the hotel is a supermarket which is convenient if you need anything. It's also an easy walk to eateries

This is a clean and comfortable motel within walking distance of everything in Hokitika including the local pool which was excellent. Our 2 bedroom room had a separate bedroom but that meant there was a large bed in the living room area which we could have done without. There is a separate laundry area but you do have to pay to use it.

The self-driving trip from Christchurch to Greymouth lasted until very late, and we went to Pancake Rock and West Piont, a nearby 1-hour drive. After checking out the accommodation, this one suited our requirements better, so we decided to drive a little longer. Hokkitika, it was already past 11 o'clock when we arrived at the hotel. I called the staff and told them to put the key directly in the room. This is a family suite with 2 rooms. Because I booked one bedroom and one living room, the other twin room was Not used. There is a Glow Warm spot in Hokkitika, but I didn’t go there because I arrived too late. The living room of the room is spacious and can be connected to the APP for screencasting. There is a wireless charger on the dining table. The bathroom is relatively large and the bed is surprisingly clean and comfortable. When I wake up in the morning and look at the sun outside, I can see the local residents outside the window. It feels like I am living in a small town. On, unique and beautiful memories. Everyone put the 🔑 on the office desk when they went out in the morning. Overall, the impression was very good. recommend! !

We stayed at the Fitzherbert Court Motel for two nights on our way down the West Coast. Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and fresh and serviced each day. Our bed was comfy too. We had everything we needed and were able to cook a simple meal. Parking was convenient with good turning space. The motel is situated very close to supermarkets, eateries and shops in Hokitika. Reception had information on local walks and activities. We found this motel met all our needs. Thank you !

The motel is tucked away in a residential area away from all the others on the main drag (which is why we chose it), and it turned out to be a gem. Very clean, well-maintained, and well-equipped, it proved very comfortable for the two nights we stayed here. Our room had a spa bath which we didn't have the chance to use, but we appreciated the extra space in the bathroom! The staff were welcoming and cheerful, and the guest laundry was put to good use. We would be very happy to stay here again if our travels bring us back to Hokitika (which we have now learned how to pronounce properly!)

The location of the hotel is good, and the service attitude of the front desk staff is also very good. They can take the trouble to help us change a suitable room and meet our requirements. The bunk room with shared bathroom was clean and cozy. The bunks beds are very comfortable and I saved money my bringing my own blankets and pillows, towels and linen. The wall mounted TV has built-In Freeview with various channels. There is a mini fridge, hot water jug and a toaster all included in the room. The shared kitchen is very large and has all the utensils needed. The shared lounge includes a wood fire. There is a large playground sporting a fast flying fox which is very fun and safe. Outdoor braziers are available and there are multiple gas-powered BBQ's on site which cooked my steaks and saussies to perfection. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Check-in required retrieving the key from a safe and inside is an envelope with a map and key giving clues where to go, I enjoyed this element because it gave a feeling of being in the amazing race. Quiet, relaxing and super fun.
