The hotel is well located in the heart of Bellary town. We have booked a suite room which was spacious and well furnished. The hotel has a good restaurant, and the room service is pretty quick. This hotel has a Bar and most of the rooms are situated on the floors above the bar, if you are traveling with family and kids that could be a challenge. There were few travelers who were smoking in the corridor in spite of having clear signage of No Smoking. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast, the food served is very tasty. However, the breakfast is served in the restaurant which is little away from the hotel rooms, this could be a challenge if you are traveling with kids and elders. Hotel has limited parking can accommodate up to 15 cars medium to big size cars, and has ample space for two wheeler parking. The most interesting thing about this hotel is that it has a Spa, as well as saloon for both men and women. Though we did not try, thought it is very thoughtful and convenient.

The visit to Hampi was more memorable due to the best stay in Hotel Nakshatra. The ambience, food, staff and the professional attitude was excellent. The room was well lit and cleanly maintained. We stayed in executive club class which was very spacious but yet affordable. The complimentary breakfast was very well designed. Overall a great experience

This place is snuggled within Hampi, so it's amazingly close to all the attractions. The Virupaksha temple is a 5~7 minute drive from the homestay. The place is run by a warm and hospitable family, supported by equally amazing assistants, Shiva and Priyanka. And that really makes all the difference. The rooms are spotless (we took the top rooms), and so are the spacious bathrooms, and the accompanying towels and sheets. Given the COVID time, in terms of hygiene and cleanliness, you don't need to worry about anything. As far as food is concerned, they have simple (yet deliciously tasty) vegetarian and non-vegetarian fare. Yes, there are insects (but quite harmless) and the room could do with meshed windows and doors. Mosquitoes are at the peak only in the evenings at around 6 pm to 7:30 p.m.. Before and after that, there's no problem keeping your doors and windows wide open. Do get some mosquito repellant though. There's a clean and spacious balcony outside the room. A small staircase through the rocks leads you to a spot that has a breathtaking view of the landscape. If you're tired of the balcony in the evenings, you can saunter down into the garden below and have dinner by a nice fire. There are ample opportunities for beautiful walks outside the homestay's campus, but you do need a vehicle here. The nearest monument (the old Shiva temple) is 2 minutes away. Would love to return to this place.

This hotel was a recommendation and looked good in the photos rooms, swimming pool and gardens etc . We stayed for two nights and three days. The hotel itself is not far from Hampi and set away from main road so very quiet. It has gardens and a vegetable fruit producing area which can be toured . There is good disabled access and a range of different rooms laid out as blocks. It is however a hotel catering for larger touring groups so food is buffet (with ala carte ) We personally didn’t find the food that great and there were some very strange western interpretations that a small google search could help the chef with greater accuracy if they need to be included, which I suspect they do with amount of westerners at hotel. I struggle to articulate where this hotel with so much potential is missing the mark. I suspect it may be overall leadership and someone holding an authoritative active overview of the place and possibly too stretched staff with multiple roles and tasks. For example The occupants before us dishes were left outside the room for our stay, tables round the pool weren’t wiped during our stay , pool towels were never available , there is a distinct lack of sun beds and the beds available have defiantly seen better days with wheels and legs missing and at times it was difficult to understand some of the presented logic and have mine understood in return. But I read a short piece above the toaster explaining that staff are all locals and employed as an ethos of supporting local communities, they also are attempting to reduce plastic by having glass filtered water in rooms (although I don’t really get why they didn’t just put a glass bottle of cold water on each table as people sat down and so stop people buying the plastic bottled stuff) and growing organic food for the restaurant. The staff were all very friendly and the female receptionist extremely helpful she, and generously let us ‘lounge’ about in the afternoon of our third day as our train was not due till 20.00. I think this hotel has so much potential with a bit of leadership and training so I find myself a bit confused what not ‘right’ but forgiving as they make attempts to help the environment, local community and are ALL very friendly.

I’ve never felt so warmly about any hotel I’ve stayed at - infact calling evolve back hampi, a ‘hotel’, doesn’t do justice to what it is , it is like a capsule transporting you to an experience of a different world and time. I’m not exaggerating when I say that No stay experience anywhere (in india or abroad) has come close to this for me. First, the ambience and beauty of the resort itself that greets you - You feel like clicking almost every corner of this resort to preserve the memory of feeling how the vijayanagara royalty must have lived in their beautiful palaces . Each corner you turn you find something beautiful - like a sudden pond of lilies, or a wall of flickering lamps, or the haunting beautiful notes of a flautist sitting in the middle of a flickering water pool, or an artistic arrangement of local flowers - there’s thoughtfulness and attention to beauty and detail everywhere. Kudos to the artistic minds that conceived this place and kudos to the hardworking staff that preserves and adds to the beauty of the place. Second, the hospitality - the staff exude positivity and warmth , and stop in the middle of whatever they are doing to greet you with a namaskara and ask if they can help in anyway. You can see them working away quietly (with no noise or disturbance!) and diligently in the backdrop to ensure that every part of your stay with them is perfect. To mention a few names specifically here - Ramesh our friendly, thoughtful and knowledgeable guide who made our tours of hampi so memorable!, he took care of us in every possible way - right from helping us take beautiful photos to helping us climb up difficult hillsides and planning our tours in a way that suited us; Neha who greeted us with so much warmth on the first day;Shakeel and ***ish from the restaurants who paid so much attention during our meals. I also want to specifically mention Shalini Sudhir from the sales team , she was with me throughout in coordinating the details of our stay. Her attention and service made me take special note of the high level of customer engagement that evolve back has - truly excellent ! The food - was perfect, the taste was excellent and everything tasted freshly prepared. In both restaurants, all the staff served us so perfectly well. All the personal attention that the general ***ager Joydeep took with guests was truly unprecedented in any other hotel we have stayed at - right from our arrival to departure. We could see how dedicated he was to taking care of every guest’s needs , running between pillar and post late into the night. The icing on the cake was finding out how ethically and sustainably evolve back runs its business and contributes to the community - a very special appreciation for this from us ! We look forward to planning more holidays at your properties and having such memorable experiences, and will definitely be recommending evolve back to friends and family.
