I book hotels that provide free airport shuttles when I'm not renting a car. This hotel advertises free airport shuttle on their web site and I booked directly through ihg.com. Upon arrival at 12:30 a.m. at LAX, I called the hotel for my ride, as I usually do, only to be informed that there is no shuttle service because of COVID and I had to find my own way to the hotel at my own expense. Are you kidding me? Took over an hour for me to get to the hotel because of a shortage of Uber & Lyft drivers, and at LAX you have to be bussed to a separate area for ride services. The round trip Lyft ride was $48. False advertising is not legal. This location is in the ghetto, so don't stay here. There's a lot of scumbags walking the perimeter of the hotel, and I felt very unsafe.

There is no water in the room, no trash can. The parking lot has a gate and requires code, but the side door cannot be locked and outsiders can enter and exit. However, the luggage of my car stopped for two nights and was not stolen, indicating that it was safe. There is a supermarket within a four minute drive. The younger brother at the front desk helped to carry the luggage. It was very warm and praised.

This place is not only disgusting, but terrifying. I was only on the premises for about an hour and it was easily one of the worst experiences I've had in my entire life. While I was trying to exit the elevator with my dog, another guest let her dog enter the elevator. The dog started attacking my dog, and even broke skin on my dog's hind leg. The dog owner refused to exchange information, started yelling, and ran off (she was trying to enter the hotel when this occurred but then she turned back and left the hotel property). I reported the incident to the front desk and he shrugged at me saying he couldn't do anything because he didn't even know if the person with the dog was a hotel guest (this incident happened beyond where you should be allowed without a room key). He later backtracked on that and told me this person was staying in a room 2 doors down from mine. He also stated that the hotel ”can't help it if a dog is aggressive.” Another woman behind the desk stated that they wouldn't do anything ”if it was the first time the dog was aggressive.” Needless to say, I asked for a refund and left the property. All of this is not even to mention the hair that was all over the bathroom and in the tub when we checked in. This place is repulsive

Our stay was wholly unsatisfactory at LaQuinta Inglewood, 3945 West Imperial Highway, Inglewood, CA 90303 for the following reasons: The bathroom vanity's one handle water valve delivered only hot water and would not shut off. Consequently, we: 1. Wasted untold gallons of hot water and the energy necessary to heat it; 2. Were forced to use only scalding hot water for the duration of our stay; 3. Were annoyed and couldn't sleep because of the constant noise of running water.

I booked this hotel due to price and location, for the Taylor Swift concert at SoFi Stadium. As others have mentioned- it was a no frills, safe place to sleep for a night. We arrived after the 3pm check-in, so I was nervous they were going to cancel my room (based on other reviews I saw on here). I apologized for checking in late and we had no problems. There is free parking. It is a family run business, so that was comforting. After the concert, we had an insane time finding an Uber/Lyft. All the drivers/cars we saw, were asking $100 to drive us 1.5miles, which I thought was insane, since the Uber/Lyft app price was ”only” $20, but all drivers were ”busy” on the app. I think they were just selecting people who needed to go further away, so they could make their money. We ended up walking back to the hotel, which ended up being ok, since there was a sea of people also walking. Would definitely stay again, as all other hotels in the area were a million dollars. The other nearby hotels at this price point- none had any good reviews, except this one!
