The staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was located just off the main road and suitable for travellers with a car. Quite a few car parks both covered and uncovered are available. The bed was comfortable and I liked the hair dryer provided. There is a great street food market just beyond the bridge on the left of the main road. There is also a craft beer bar next to the hotel (which looks like it’s designed or owned by the hotel??) where we watched the World Cup. Room felt a little bare and minimal amenities provided. The water heater for the shower is timed and you would get a sudden blast of hot water or ice cold water so you need to time your bath. Only one key provided so if you leave the room after taking a shower, the power turns off and you come back to a damp bathroom as the air vent is shut off. The sound travels from the corridor but I don’t think there were many guests during our stay so it wasn’t too bad. There is no kettle provided in the room so you have to go to the outdoor lobby area to get hot water, a bit inconvenient but at least it’s provided.

Since on May 19, I booked a room through Amp OYO and the first thing I booked a room with this place. What expected I saw in theAFL that the hotel room includes breakfast. What I decided to make a reservation and when I checked in, the staff was neat that the room includes breakfast, yes. So the staff gave a coupon to come and enter the room for 10 minutes. Reception staff called to inform that the customer room does not include breakfast. Inform including breakfast So the staff said that in the OYO system, the employee made a mistake. But if the customer wants Have to pay 100 baht per person for breakfast, so usually the hotel has to be responsible. Not that customers have to be responsible Therefore want the hotel Help with the system to be better. Because it loses the feeling of the customer as much as expected And ask for the good of the hotel Reception staff both at check-in and check-out service is very good, would like to compliment, but please improve just the wrong system to be better in case not to lose the reputation in the OYO brand.

We chose this place for the swimming pool but, sadly, it was out of operation. Due to language difficulties, we didn't get to find out why or if it was just a temporary problem. The staff were very friendly but not much English spoken. The rooms were excellent and sparkling clean with hood facilities, (fridge, TV - France24 English language etc,). No kettle. We issued the on-site restaurant and had an excellent meal of soft shell crab and chicken and cashew nuts. Breakfast (American or Asian) was served in the lobby area. Very well maintained gardens and lake area. Don't think the spa was operational. In summary, a decent, if a bit boring drop-off. Own transport essential. Near a main road (noise-wise).

Good service staff. Sleep in an air-conditioned room. The air conditioner is cool. There is a refrigerator, TV, warm water, and tissue paper outside the bathroom. There is shampoo/shampoo. But I'm not sure which bottle it is. I don't see the label. There is clear glass separating the shower zone from the toilet. The big bed is soft and comfortable. There are clothes drying racks both in the bathroom and in the bedroom. (In front of the room door) :)

I’ve stayed at the MD Grand twice: a few years ago just after it opened and then again on this current trip. In its price range, it’s hard to top in Nakhon Si Thammarat. The staff are excellent and the whole place is very clean, modern and well maintained. Robinson is only 5 minutes’ walk away and there are various Ma and Pa type eateries a short walk away as well. Importantly, the wifi is reliable, something which isn’t guaranteed in these parts... Breakfast is also good. There are four a la carte options and the receptionist took our order upon check-in (18 hours in advance) which was quirky, uber-efficient and somehow cool. There is no kettle in the room, which is the only downer. Would definitely stay there again.

My partner and myself stayed at the hotel on the 27th &28th July 2020, the hotel is new with well appointed rooms and a great breakfast area with a breakfast to match. The hotel also has lovely paintings on all floors and in the rooms and at the reception area as well as sculptures in the reception, outside at the front there are lovely gardens and a big sculpture. At night the food market for eating is straight across the road from the hotel. We will be staying at this hotel again when we revisit the city as everything was great and the service was very friendly.

Firstly be careful as the location PIN on the Expedia map is actually their additional car parking which is on the OPPOSITE side of the main highway. The hotel is next to the hospital on a very small side road BUT the hotel sign is big enough to see in bright red so as long as you drive a little slower past the hospital then you see the sing on the left side. There are sadly lots of stray dogs in the road at nighttime who bark however IF the Security guard gets of his chair he manages to control them The rooms are OK The photos are better than in reality but Clean and comfortable. Black out curtains are OK but for light sensitive pleaes take an eye mask just in case. Noise from other rooms is apparant here. There are lots of rules and regulations posted all over the small hotel / back of doors etc which became laughed at. Car park is very small. Very small lobby area/elevator zone Staff are GREAT!!! Very friendly and helpful Hairdryer - ask at reception as limited stock No English TV channels available. Overall a great little find.

Big shower, double set of pillows and enough electric outlets to charge everything.. The only minor setback is that the walls and windows are not very soundproof. We had a lovely one week stay here. The deluxe option that we took came with very comfortable king sized bed and was spacious. A hedge of jasmine lined the entrance to the room and another palm hedge provided much privacy for an evening drink at the porch. The hotel was nicely landscaped with tropical plants. Breakfast came with many local options, fruits and dessert. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a convenience store and tasty noodles and curry rice at Mafia Bar which was located just a few steps away.

The sound of roosters woke up since not 6 o'clock 😫 but the room is spacious. At this price, it is considered good. Stayed here for 5 nights July 2022. Absolutely fabulous. Originally only booked for two nights, however the hotel was so good, I soon changed it to five. Flew down from Don Meuang and was collected from the airport by the hotel taxi, a great service. There was a small charge for this. The concierge guys at the hotel were fantastic. They even organised a hire car for us, which was great. Check in fine, staff on the front desk couldn't be better. The room on the 17th floor excellent. People on here mention the bed. Oh my goodness, the best mattress, bedding and pillows I've ever slept on. Everything perfect in the room and worked just fine. The fittings looked and felt high quality too. Breakfast... Wow, buffet style. All the food on offer was superb. Southern Thai food is really delicious. I tried everything during my 5 night stay. We even had dinner there one night and that too was fabulous. I think the hotel is owned by the CP group, which owns the 7/11 group, and many of the large supermarkets here in Thailand. Mr CP. himself would enjoy a stay here! This is a City centre hotel, if you're looking for a large swimming pool complex, this place may not be for you. However there is a decent size swimming pool with a nice looking Spa complex and a well equipped gym. We were visiting family, so didn't get chance to use those facilities during our stay. Excellent value for money! Couldn't fault the stay at the Grand Fortune Hotel. I will definitely return to Nakhon to visit my new Thai family. I'll definitely be booking this hotel again. Maybe I'll be visiting the family more because of this hotel. Excellent stay and fantastic value for money. Thanks again and best wishes.

The hotel is clean even when older. Convenient in the heart of the city Affordable room All amenities in the room But the outside floor carpet starts to smell. The sudden mistake is that the theater accepts outdoor activities regardless of the internal customers. Receive a wedding by allowing the host to play music into the event with a crowd full of speakers behind the pickup truck. At 8 o'clock in the morning Repeat that 8 to 9 o'clock, the sound of the glass shaking shows that you have poor management. You have the right not to allow the host to play music but do not. Show that you don't care about the internal customers. Show that you want to have an additional income regardless of most of them are resting customers.
