We spent 4 nights at Boutique Village Hostel. I wish we could have stayed more! It's not on the beach, but it's definitely better to stay here, 12 km from the beach, then in chaotic and touristic Ao Nang. The owners will drive you for free to the main beach and then - after a full day exploring the islands with lots of people - you will go back to this paradise. Imagine the sound of the jungle at night, a lot of green all around, the swimming pool in the middle. It's so relaxing you won't believe it. The owners are really nice and helpful, they will try to help in many ways. Always with a smile. There's a lot to see in the surroundings, you won't get bored.

We booked a standard double for 4 nights – paying 1500 baht per night. Below I have judged each category based on what value I believe one should receive paying this tariff. Free pickup from the Krabi airport (half hour drive). Front desk: Outstanding service. The lady who maintains the front desk / check in / tour booking etc is clearly suited to the hospitality industry. She loves her guests and maintains a friendly relationship with all. Standard room: Our room was overlooking the pool and had a nice deck. The room was quite small – not exactly what was featured in the pictures on Booking.com. The lighting was low and the bed consisted of 2 single beds pushed together. I see this a lot in Thailand and don’t usually have an issue with it. However, these 2 beds were different in height, and one was soft; one was hard. There is a kettle, tea / coffee / hot chocolate provided. There is a mini bar fridge and a flat screen tv with approximately 3-4 channel in English (movies). An umbrella, house slippers, a safe and hairdryer is also provided. There are limited power outlets. The bathroom was a nice size, with natural light, but no space to put your own toiletries / belongings. Food: There is a restaurant on-site with a limited menu;the food is satisfactory. Breakfast is provided and you are asked how you like your eggs and there are 2 different meat options provided which changes every day. There is fruit, baked goods, bread and juices/water. Transport: You can hire a scooter from the premises, at a cost of 250 baht / day. It is a 7-8 minute ride to the centre of Ao Nang. I recommend hiring a scooter as there are also beautiful beaches nearby that are only accessible by bike. There is also a shuttle service. Tours can also be organized from here, but I found it’s better to go direct to the supplier of the tour as we were given incorrect information and ended up wasting several hours. Housekeeping: There was no housekeeping at all. So no replenishment of water / toilet paper / toiletries (unless you asked). Recreation: The pool is a beautiful addition and is cleaned every day. It’s shaded and loungers and towels are provided. Conclusion: The service I received from the staff here far outweighed the value I anticipated. The rooms need updating, but it is a lovely location (although quite noisy as on a main street) and the staff really made the stay worthwhile. Highly recommended.

Basic room & toiletries provided. Breakfast is charged THB10/pax. Pretty basic; fried egg, toast with jam, chicken porridge, fruits etc. Location is quite far from beach (5km). But the best thing is the hotel provides shuttle to and fro hotel to beach and vice versa. You can also booked a Tuktuk (around 300THB/way) Helpful staffs. Our room was located on a hill. We had to climb a bit. So if you're travelling with senior citizen/kids, book/try to request for room near to the reception. We had yummy Thai Foods. banana pancake, seafoods at seafoods streets. Bangboo Halal food. It's easy to find Halal foods around Ao Nang. Dropped by at 2 cafes. Cafe 89.5 and Lion & Shark. Nice coffee and yummy breakfast.

Stayed at Damare Pool Villas for the last two nights in Krabi. In general, the check-in experience was very satisfactory. As soon as we arrived at the lobby to complete the formalities, the waiter provided kneeling service to understand summer drinks, aromatherapy handkerchiefs and garland bracelets. The room was spacious and tidy with fragrance, the pool water was clean and circulating. The next morning I presented a floating breakfast. It was a surprise. I booked a Thai essential oil massage in the room. The on-site experience was also good. The price will be slightly higher than the roadside shop. The disadvantage is that compared to other hotels in Ao Nang Beach, the location is slightly far away, and there are no restaurants and supermarkets in the surrounding area. Fortunately, the hotel has a regular shuttle bus to and from Ao Nang Beach. If you like the quiet and undisturbed atmosphere, this hotel is highly recommended.

Located just outside Ao Nang mainstreet, it takes a 5 minutes drive to get to Ao Nang beach, or if you go left it'll take a 5 minutes drive to get to Noppara Thara beach. It is quiet and ideally located for people who don't want to stay in the middle of the crowded and noisy Ao Nang. I always rent a motorbike and I love to drive it around here. It is incredibly beautifully scenic here! If you prefer not to drive yourself, you could use the shuttle service from Snow House to get around and to the beach. This place itself is immaculately clean. Everything here is made from the highest quality! There are 2 swimmingpools that are located so 1 pool has morning shade and the other has afternoon shade and with a beautiful garden with lots of lounge options. The staff is nice and service minded and there is a night security. I've been coming to Ao Nang for nearly 20 years now and I've stayed in multiple guesthouses, hotels and bungalows, but this is by far the best place that I found in Ao Nang. The highest quality for the best price! This place is truely amazing!

The room was large, because we booked a big bed room, the hotel merged the two single beds, making the bed large and wide. The hotel is older, the paint on the cabinet door and the table top has cracked, and there is no hot water bath on the 3rd floor. There is still a little hot water on the second floor. Breakfast is available and there are fruit drinks. There is a charge for bringing children. A few hundred meters from the beach.

I stayed at this resort for 2 nights. It has a swimming pool and cute bungalows in a beautiful garden setting. The beach is right across the road, so a perfect spot for the budget-conscious traveler. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and everything was in working order. Khun Salee was very friendly and helpful. It is about 20 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang, so if you want peace and quiet to relax, this is the place to be. I would defnitely recommend this to friends.

Nopparat Thara
My family and I had an extremely pleasant stay at Bida Daree resort. It is family owned and we felt like family while we stayed there. The rooms are beyond expectations for Thailand: big, comfy beds with clean fluffy white sheets and pillows. Every single day the towels were changed and the rooms were cleaned. The a\c was EXCELLENT and there were hot shower and big clean bathrooms. For the price we paid, we have hardly stayed in such lovely rooms in Thailand, especially in touristy areas. It is only a 5 minute drive from the main strip and so you can get a good nights sleep, but close enough to the national park/beach so you can walk if you want to. But the resort offers bikes for rent for a good price, which i highly recommend because you can see more of Ao Nang this way. You can also rent bikes from shops nearby. There are food options close to the resort and a 7-eleven right beside so you can get all the water and snacks you need. The pool is absolutely amazing and so cold and refreshing. We loved lounging by the pool every day. We also included breakfast in our package and the owner of the resort makes it for us fresh everyday, order the PAN EGGS (so delicious) and you get juice, toast and fruit and unlimited coffee and tea. We loved our stay, thank you so much!!

We stayed with them 4 nights. They are very very kind and helpfull people. The rooms are very clean its quiet in the evening. The air you breathe is clean, not like Ao Nang centre or Krabi centre. They can book tours for you, and u can rent a motor scooter with them. We thought the location was brilliant, we rented a motor scooter and their are things to do 15 minutes in all directions. It’s a 10 minute drive to Ao Nang and 20 minutes to Krabi. Their neighbors are a Elephant sanctuary so every time you drive of or come back you see Elephants. This is not a dealsealer or breaker but it is nice though. The also have a taxi service and laundry service. And last but not least, they have very nice prices. Thanks guys for our great stay! I think this hotel is too expensive! The entire hotel has a total of 10 rooms, each room is an independent house, and the privacy is very good. I saw before that there are many mosquitoes in the room, but there is free mosquito repellent water in the room, which may be a lot of green around, so it is normal to have mosquitoes. The design of the hotel is very distinctive!

I had told the hotel that I would arrive at 10 pm, but I went there and told me that because of the blackout, I changed to a super-broken pub. I saw Europeans and Americans living! Although Ctrip lost money, it was still uncomfortable! The hotel environment is a wooden house on the first floor, I especially like it! Convenient transportation, the sea on both sides near Ao Nang is very close, just a few minutes walk! In short, except for the first night pit, everything else is good, Europeans and Americans live more.

At this price, the hotel is also a domestic economy hotel. Of course, there are more swimming pools. The location of the hotel is okay. It is about a 10-minute walk from Ao Nang. It is not in a busy area, but it feels quiet and quiet. Eat around, you can go left and right, and 711 is close. When we went, it was the rainy season, and it was also the peak season for their repairs and renovations, so there will inevitably be noise during certain periods, and the hotel also has a corresponding apology letter. The attitude at the front desk is very good. One of the young girls is always smiling and very cute. The other staff are very enthusiastic. We do not understand English well. Sometimes we have to rely on mobile phone translation. The front desk is also patient enough! As for the rooms, there was no twin room, so one of us changed to the moonlight room (free of charge), but this room type is for everyone to let you have a reference. The room type on the hotel introduction is 80 square meters. It is twice as big as ordinary. It is two floors up and down. There is a terrace upstairs. It can look at the stars. It looks very beautiful. In fact, it is warm. The first floor is the same as an ordinary room. There is a platform on the second floor. No, there is no lighting, no shelter, and even those who are cleaning will not go upstairs. For the rainy season, I guarantee that you will not go upstairs to sit, so this room type is not recommended for everyone, the price is very low In addition, ordinary rooms are not provided with dental appliances. Speaking of which, I thought of one thing: when I checked hotels in Ctrip, I found that most of the hotel reviews will see some people say that the front desk, the staff, the service to the Chinese is not good enough, the room is too bad, eat It ’s not good or anything, and I absolutely knelt and licked the service to Europeans and Americans, etc., so that I dare not choose some favorite hotels. I was thinking that Thailand has become like this? Until I came back this time, I want to say that I went to Thailand for vacation 5 or 6 times in succession. To tell the truth, I really feel the enthusiasm of the locals. Thailand is a country based on tourism. People ’s cognition is much stronger than that in China, but some Chinese are dissatisfied with Shenma? ... Forget it, let's not say it, everyone is curious and guess it by themselves.

The location is very good, the beach is across the road; there are many shops, 7-111, Watsons, massage, various restaurants (seafood street), convenient for shopping, eating and relaxing; the breakfast room is spacious and quiet, the dining environment is good, the dishes The taste is also good; this time I booked a three-person room, which belongs to the pattern of one room, one living room and one bathroom. The small bed in the hall is hollowed down, which is very uncomfortable; the bathroom is clean and spacious, and the shower is available; the hall and the bedroom are both There are large windows, and the beach is seen from the window. Although it is facing the street, it is very quiet at night. There are 6 bottles of free mineral water every day, which is very human. There are two swimming pools, which are not very large. When you leave Krabi Island and go to Phi Phi Island, you can leave your luggage in the hotel (I don't know why there is no receipt for the luggage, and then I will write a reminder), come back to Krabi Island to get to the airport; the front desk can arrange the airport (Charge), but can not provide services to buy tickets to other islands. The villa is 5.8 km away from Ao Nang Beach, about 15-20 minutes by car. The villa housekeeping service provides pick-up service before 10pm, and it is free. What a fabulous little guesthouse - can't even describe how happy we are to stay in this place for 3 weeks. Honestly, one of the best guesthouses we have stayed in the past 4yrs of traveling full time. The owner couple are amazing, friendly, honest, loyal, respectful and they just simply make you feel better by being themselves. Such a warm hearted people! Next, the room.. Perfect!! Bed is incredibly comfy (yeah, doesn't happen so often in Thailand), ac works really well, soundproof is great (sure if you stay by the road, it can get noisy sometimes), shower got good pressure and all in all the room is spacious and super clean. The main area in Ao Nang is very hectic and busy so if you like too listen that 24/7, you better find another place to stay. But if you are looking for a peaceful, lovely accommodation, you will not get disappointed. Nopparat Thara beach is only 1km away and on the way you will have plenty of restaurants and 7/11. And the busier main beach ain't too far either, around 1,7km. It will be good exercise for sure but don't worry, you can also rent a scooter.. Going to another direction gets cheaper and vibe turns into local so you better explore that side too, not only the beach area. Will definitely come back again! Big thumps up!

I first went to Pine Bungalow 30 years ago and not much has changed. The same family own it and it is run with the same love and care that defined it the first time I stayed there. What has improved is the quality of the bungalows, they are clean and comfortable, though not grand. The grounds and beach are well maintained and there is generally a lovely vibe. The food is the best you'll eat in Thailand with lots of variety. What really makes this place however is the staff, Nim gets a special mention but they are really all lovely people. I miss it already and I only left two days ago! Can't wait to return. Laura

I decided to have a room with a balcony. In the building at the front desk, it looks good. It has a balcony for ventilation and convenience. It takes about ten minutes to walk to Shanghai from the beach. There is a 7-11 at the intersection on the beach. Leave your luggage at the front desk and go to Railay. When you walk to the beach, there is a long tail boat. By the way, the luggage has to be carried upstairs by yourself, which is slightly heavier. The room has everything that should be there. Everyone on staff was well trained, efficient, friendly, and service oriented. That showed in the cleanliness of my room and throughout the entire property. Separate cabins insured quiet. Spacious King 4-poster bed with mosquito netting was oh so comfortable. Shower and tub area the size of a small SE Asian hotel room. Very homey feel. Breakfasts were amazing! Served on my patio each morning, I had to beg them to stop bringing me so much fresh fruit each day + full breakfast --which was beautifully plated and prepared. Complimentary shuttle makes getting to the beach simple. Surrounding town has some excellent little local restaurants, plus a beautiful mosque (especially at night!). Cons: none My Thai and Malay friends commented that BH was expensive, bit given the similarity in cost to average AO Beach strip hotels, level of service, Quiet eco vibe, and spaciousness / quality of my room, I thought it was a bargain. Seriously consider staying here wherever you might be traveling in the Krabe area. It's a terrific place with an outstanding staff!

The location is relatively biased, but fortunately, the housekeeper can arrange the car and travel once a day. It happened to be 2 days of strong wind and rain, and it was impossible to go to the sea. The Phi Phi Island itinerary was temporarily cancelled. It was too late to arrange other attractions and could only stay in the villa. The driver and housekeeper took us to the vegetable market, supermarket, and cook their own food. It was also very interesting. The seafood in the market is really cheap, and the price / performance ratio of the supermarket is not high. The villa is large, with four rooms and a living room, yard, balcony, swimming pool. Good choice for leisure vacation.

Tub Kaek Beach
The hotel is small and relatively exquisite; the beach is good, so I chose to choose it here, but after I arrived, I felt that the beach was not very good compared to Krabi; the pool was not large and there were limited lounge chairs around it. No location; next to the construction site during the stay, next to it, it should be a new hotel, because the hotel itself is not large, I feel there is no big difference between changing rooms; beach bar is good, happy sunset every day to see the beautiful sunset. The biggest problem here is that there are too many mosquitoes. They have been bitten from the first day to the departure, which affects the overall staying experience. Later, I changed to Centara. The more primitive environment has few mosquitoes, indicating that the hotel has handled it. In addition, the restaurant selection is not good, the taste is average but the price is not low. The one-night seafood buffet does not include alcoholic beverages at a price of nearly three hundred yuan. Compared with Centara, it has less variety and taste, but the price is even higher. The best thing about the hotel is the service. The staff are nice everywhere, but overall, it is not very recommended in Krabi.
