+ the rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated with lots of space + the garden makes a great atmosphere! + very close to the beach (1 minute walk) + close to the main road for finding supermarkets and restaurants, but still far enough from it to miss the traffic noise. I didnt have a bike, but that was no problem! Everything was in walking distance. + reception was very friendly. There was a misunderstanding with my booking but everything was fine at the end +WiFi was really good!. I work online and I had no problems! - breakfast is VERY simple and not nicely done. - in general is the food at the restaurant not good. I only ate their indian food thinking that atleast that would be good. But far fetched. Not a nice atmosphere, music is too loud and the prices are too high for that kind of quality. - THE MUSIC IS THE WORST! They play techno music all day and night. Its incredibly annoying and you can even hear it in the rooms. I like to dance to that music, but that doesnt mean that you need to play it EVERYWHERE. Nobody enjoys that.

Staying at Red Fox was an amazing experience my famil had. The location of this hotel is very close to morjim beach. Budgeted stay, clean rooms, amazing Indian food, helpful staff, everything was perfect for us. I'd like to mention few names with whom we interacted and who gave us family feel during our stay. Vijay Chavan - Head chef in Red Fox, is a gem of a person. A good hu*** being who treats you like a family and prepares amazing food. Anything you order, he will serve you the exact taste which you want. Staff was quiet and humble and served us very politely in dining area. They treated us like friends, quite interactive. Housekeeping staff was very gentle and calm and gives us the best service during our stay. Overall the stay was wonderful, the location was nice, people were too good in every ***ner.

Absolutely avoid this place. These are just made up wooden cottages far away from Morjim beach. Online they show cottages surrounding a small swimming pool to which people get attracted to online and have not mentioned anywhere about extra couple of cottages they have on the other side of the road away from the main cottages area. If you have booked classic cottage then they wil give you these cottages at the ground floor which are nothing but cheap shady single room. And when you don't like that room and ask for a good room on upper deck, they will charge you more for the same. The front desk guy with specs and a young girl and clearly not welcoming towards the guests. Their attitude is very bad. They don't even greet you when you come to check in or check out. Saying thank you to customers while leaving is far away. The owner operates from Delhi and the ***ager also goes on leave to Ahmedabad at the same time when owner is also away, leaving the charge to God himself. The AC water vent throws water next to the ground floor cottages and has created a pond of waste water which is a clear invitation to mosquito breeding. It smells horrible. (Pics attached). I went their with family and could see a group of 10 guys sitting next to the pool having drinks in open blocking passage to our cottage. The staff was not saying anything to them. How could they allow such thing and advertise this property as for family. Breakfast is just for namesake. They just have either Paratha or Omlet. Not both. One day they keep cold paratha or cold Omlet which is made 2-3 hours back. Avoid going to this place. I have already blacklisted this property for good.

I visited this resort in November with my husband. It’s a beautiful place with lots of greenery. We had booked a wooden cottage but unfortunately did not get the pool facing cottage. The cottages are spacious with lovely interiors. However, one downside of the wooden cottage is that it gets a bit hot during the day (of course depending on the weather outside), especially if you’re out and enter the room in the afternoon. Took the AC sometime to cool things. The staff was extremely courteous and a special shout out to the room cleaning staff for being very kind and doing an excellent job with the cleaning. The food was good but I thought the menu was a bit limited. However, there are ***y restaurants nearby to explore. The pool was the highlight. It is very nicely designed. A word of caution though, there are some tiles in the pool which had come off. I’d advise the staff to look into it and get it repaired before there are some injuries. Overall, a wonderful place to stay. I will definitely be back!😃

Stayed here for a week and had the most amazing time. I think it's fair to say I've never been so relaxed in my life. The set up at Baywalk is so chilled out and Ramesh and the whole team did a great job of making sure everything went smoothly. It's fair to say that this isn't 'party central' Goa, you need to go to other places for that. However, there are plenty of bars and restaurants close by. The team at Baywalk can help with absolutely everything if you ask, or they will just leave you to your own devices if that's what you want. Breakfasts are good..I had omelette, toast and jam plus freshly made watermelon juice. I also wandered the very short distance down to the beach each day to get a tender coconut from one of the vendors there. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The shower, hot water, AC, and all facilities work well. Good wifi too. The feeling at Baywalk is more like staying with friends than anything else. It's one of those places that you don't want to leave, but I certainly hope to return one day. Thanks guys for a great time and fantastic memories.

Staying currently here. Walked-in and did a booking. The property location is great for us and right on the beach. Around here there are just the few morjim shacks and Burger Factory. Thank god, its not very commercial. Room rate is kind of expensive otherwise as the rooms offered are simple wooden cottages. They are good and functionally great with AC, hot water and clean rooms with fridge. Breakfast is available at the restaurant and good food, Indian and sea food. Service at the restaurant can be better. Room Service is not there and no phone in the room.

Well first of all a great thanks for the kind and honest hospitality from the whole sur la mer team. It felt like arriving at a family I didn’t know yet. The welcoming was great, the room was as I imagined and as I wanted it to be, high end clean Indian design and the garden facilities and the hotel facilities are in very good conditions too. I did stay here ten days and I can’t complain about the Amazing vibe of this place, the owners family who are very kind and fun people, the amazing food or the general price value of the place. Only thing I might would consider would be fans outside the balconies as it can be very hot during the day and maybe modern power plugs and light switches, especially when you are on the high beds it’s difficult to charge your phone or watch. But as mentioned overall a very nice place and certainly my new must stay in goa. Thanks again for this great holidays. (Unfortunately can’t upload the videos) Location wise, it’s a little bit more calm but just 5min walk to the beach and the bigger night clubs or famous bars and restaurants are within 30-40min drive, nevertheless a lot of nice little spots around the hotel. (Burger factor / la Plage / la cucina / rock water / palm grove / delicious ...)

I arrived to the hotel after 1am as my flight was delayed and definitely expected to rest well in the hotel. Everything started with the reception where their machine refused to accept my card (insist on restart the machine and try again as after several days it worked with me). Then I was taken to the room that was horrible: there was no window, there was a door that seemed to be a terrace but in such a horrible state that there was no desire to go there. The glass of that door had no any curtain. Linen on the bed were horribly dirty (were replaced on my request), there was no tv in the room, the fridge looked dirty, bathroom was in a poor condition. To my complaint they said, the room would be changed the next day. I was offered one free meal as a discomfort co****sation. In the morning nobody was ready to provide me with another room. When I returned from the beach about midday there still was not any alternative room. After a couple of hours waiting I got another room on the upper floor. The smell in the room was not good as there's no any ventilation in the bathroom at all. The room was big enough, the bed was comfortable, tv, in room safe, tea kettle, writing table, mini fridge and a wardrobe were there. The balcony had a field view with the sea to the side, a coffee table and a couple of chairs. Bathroom was acceptable. There was water leakage from the pot and the staff promised to come and see but didn't. Breakfasts are very bad. They must start late, at 8.30 only but even this time there was nothing ready. They offered porridge or boiled eggs and one Indian meal. Bread, jam and butter, packed tea and coffee. The only fruit served was water melon. Out of 5 days the only tasty breakfast was puri. The pool looks lovely but it doesn't offer any shadow so mainly remained empty. They offer massage service that I must admit to be done well. Make sure to go there wearing undies that you don't feel sorry to throw away after as I didn't ***age to safe mine after the oil. The time of cleaning is full day. It means if you happen in the corridor at daytime, you'll have to go ***** the hills of linen on a slippery dirty wet floor. It's uncomfortable and looks horrible. At check out I was requested to pay the bills tht were not mine. After some investigations I was checked out without any addition payments. The best thing for me was the distance to the beach- very close. This beach side has no any shacks and pretty empty so nobody bothers. Shops are in a walking distance as well. I doubt I'd like to stay in the hotel again.

The resort is a small property with 6 rooms with a view of the pool and the river ( The balance rooms face the road). At first sight it seems to be a quaint little place but has ***y problems which are not addressed by the ***agement. As we visited in July we experienced all things wrong.. The bed mattresses slanted downwards, so you slept with your feet in the air and head down in the dumps. Frequent power cuts and the backup generator did not work the first night and we tossed and turned without power. The air conditioning when it worked, was only at 20% effectiveness. There were empty rooms and security was an issue with all doors having digital locks and access codes known to all who worked there.. The breakfast options were very poor and most things we asked for such as fruit or a little juice or some brown toast was not available. When we complained we were asked to immediately pay up the balance amount for the rest of the stay. We connected with the owner who told us that is how it is and anything that is not working is an act of God. Basically this was a God forsaken place where the resident ***ager when he turned up, kept saying : "Done" to all our small requests such as pls let us watch some TV etc but did nothing. We (myself, wife and daughter) ran away at 9:30 pm .in the rain to another hotel down the road ( Lemon Tree) where we found a Professional welcome and competent service.

At the price they are renting their cottages and suites you cannot expect LUXURY. Getting there is NOT easy or obvious. You will need Albert on the phone if you've never been there. Albert is the owner and himself runs the place. He is the kind of caretaker who will give you advice about the surrounding areas and even help you, for example, arranging a scooty or car for you late at night if you want it. By the way, you should opt for a scooty instead of a car due to the roads in this area. Albert is accommodating and will take care of your wishes as far as it is possible in this remote location that is not even known by cab drivers. I needed access to work during my week-long break, Albert got a Jio Hotspot arranged for me. I wouldn't rely on that for the long term but it sufficed for logging in to do basic, light bandwidth work. The road leading to the stay is a dirt road, raggedy and dark. Nights are quiet. You hear the crows and crickets in the night, and the air through the coconut grove. You can see on your walk to the beach that there was a shack/restobar there but due to pandemic that is all dis***tled. There is a swimming pool but who wants to go there when you have a full sea in front of you that has almost no public, you feel like the beach is yours. The tides follow a six hour cycle so most of the day the water recedes by a lot and you can walk into the waves for quite a distance before it gets deep. In fact you would have to go very far in for you to not feel the sand below your feet. The only drawback IF you can call it that, given the current Covid-19 times is that there is NO food besides breakfast served at the location. You can request an occasional chai or coconut water to your room but it's not guaranteed that the kitchen will be operational during the afternoon or night. Also the breakfast is mostly set items, poha, toast with omlette or you can request egg bhurji, there is a pav with some bhaaji cooked in coconut curry, and chai or coffee but that's about it. Not too far are some convenience stores and a wine shop but you are out of luck if you think you will request full lunch or dinner, with the shutting down of their restobar, this is no longer an option. Grab your scooty and take a ride to the nearby fancy Jardin D'ulysseus or other humble eateries around Morjim or the nearby Ashwen. Arambol is too crowded of a beach but we did see an amazing sunset there, once you have seen other beaches in the area you will realize how lucky you are to have the best stretch of beach in Morjim. Another great option for a night out are the not too far on the beach bars in Morjim itself, Burger Factory, Cape Town and Urva. These you can actually just walk into from the beach in front of the stay, they are to the right a short 3 / 5 min walk. The place does have signs for wearing masks and has sanitizer available for you at the lobby but honestly, when people get here they drop their masks and some don't even social dista
