No complaints or issues with our stay. I will add that we recently stayed at a ”very close-by” hotel to this one that we were not happy with. Our experience at Home2Suites was perfect! Clean room ( and bath!!! ) Friendly Staff. Free wifi, coffee in the lobby, and good breakfast selection. All good things to say about this hotel stay.

I'm not from out of town, but needed a room for the upcoming night, due to repairs at my house. I checked the rates and availability online before arriving. Good location right off of Bagley Road, near I-71. Near restaurants, the hospital, and movie theater. Downside: you can tell as soon as you pull in the driveway, that something is off. A group of people, who appear to be the housekeeping staff, are lounging on the sidewalk, conversing (or, ”conversatin'”) right outside the entrance. Not a welcoming sight. Walking in, you notice the trash on the carpet. I didn't take a close look, but crumpled papers or wrappers or whatever scattered around the check-in area. Again, that kind of thing does not give you the feeling of welcome or cleanliness. I waited while the desk clerk talked to a guest/friend/coworker- I don't know. They seemed amused that I was standing there. The clerk greeted me. I told her that I wanted to know if I could reserve a room. She said the rooms aren't ready until 2pm- it was 11 o'clock am. I asked if I could simply make a reservation, to check in later. I had my suitcase with me. She said no. I would have to wait until 2, even to make a reservation. ??? Judging by appearances that this was not a nice place, I thanked her and decided to move on. Eventually checked in to the Quality Inn in Brunswick. Cheap rates are not worth this kind of environment.

first of all jazz the manager took money from me for my sat then called me back in to say i did not pay enough i left my walet (myfult on that one) on the counter as my husband called me out to the car when i got to the room i noticed my cash was missing and so was my bank card jazz was the only one at the desk when i called her sh acted rude and like i was lieing and did not know what i was talking about later that night when i got out the shower i seen 3 bugs running acrose the wall ans out of the sink and also got bit up all night when i called the office late at night there was no answer on the phone i go down and the door is locked and no one is there go back to my room and found a needle under my bed and monds of hair like the room was never cleaned that next moring i go down and yet again to my suprize it jazz i infom her of all that occured and she rolled her eys at me and said that too bad dont stay here no more then and said she has a wonderful hk staff and they scrub the rooms from floor to walls witch is a joke never stay here unlesss you want bugs and robbed

Very helpful & friendly. Nice restaurant with great service & food! The front desk clerk understood we needed some extra help and provided it with no real issues! We really appreciated the fact we didn't need to leave the hotel to get food . The shuttle driver was very nice and accommodating to all of our needs when we left.

I have been staying here for months, and this is hands down the WORST hotel chain in North America; honestly, I would expect better service at a Motel 6. If you are heading into town, I would recommend The Crown Plaza; it’s cheaper and much nicer; the amenities are 1000X nicer, they have hot food, and the staff is not RUDE, LAZY, or STUPID; heck you can go down the road five minutes and stay at The Best Western Plus for $50 a night and have much better amenities and a well-trained staff. It really shows what larger chains offers when it comes to Human Resources and Training Programs, and their parent company is heading into bankruptcy; hence why their prices are too high. I have several hundred hotels stays under my belt, and a hotel lobby should be welcoming and inviting, this one looks like a large storage closet/abandoned building/war bunker. They have stacked up furniture everywhere, garbage/empty boxes all over the place, and 10+ signs saying no guest access. Then when you get into the staff, it gets WORSE, much WORSE. Carla, The President/CEO of Sonesta Hotels (in her mind), has absolutely no business being in Guest Services, and you have to deal with her STUPIDITY, RUDENESS, and LAZINESS 80% of the mornings here; and talk about getting your day off to a HORRIBLE start; and it’s a race situation since I am white. If you need to get anything complete and she is working, your best bet is to wait till she leaves for the day or find a work around. She will literally talk in circles and confuse you, just so she can avoid doing any type of labor (she actually steals your intelligence and drive), she gets ANGRY when she has to get off her chair; grant it, she is normally sleeping in that chair, hiding behind a sign; hence why I was order not to use the dinning-room/war bunker entrance for coffee, and instead have to walk all the way around the building in the cold (she can’t hear me come in when I use the dining room entrance). I had an employee STEAL a package delivery, and then I got stuck working with the WORSE management team in the world. I was accused 6 different times of running a scam for $48; Please, I make 5x that in the amount of time it took to correct the PETTY THEFT. Santo demanded proof the package was delivered, which I supplied immediately, then 3 messages at the Front Desk and 1 phone call later zero response, I finally called corporate, sure enough, Santo calls the next morning ANGRY because I call corporate. When I first got here two months ago, I stayed right next to the noisy highway that pours pollution out, can’t be healthy, so I moved to the other side of the property, when I checked in the first time, I was given one key, on the second one, I was given two keys by Elissa. With the known THEFT problem here, I was straightening up for the 3rd time, since housekeeping was a no-show/no-call for two appointments earlier that week, and realized, I better grab that second room key before housekeeping STEALS it, low

The studio suite was wonderful... comfortable queen bed, lots of square footage, extremely clean. All appliances in great working order. Cooling / heating unit very current & responded to my inputs immediately. 32 inch TV worked well. I suggest increasing the size to something in the 42 inch range. Plenty of stations to watch. Recommend a channel guide for the TV. All staff interactions were friendly & always helpful. I looked for an ice machine but did not find one... however, I did not look very long since Ihad a full kitchen. There were 2 ice trays; recommend 4. $ 85 / night price was EXCELLENT VALUE. I appreciated the military discount.

When arrived at hotel nightmare started Called 2 days prior arrival to confirm I’ll have a shuttle at 4am When got at the location I was handed a voucher to call a shuttle company which told me they can come to pick me up before ,,about’’ 4:45 After I hit to the room I open up my online banking to make a payment for an outstanding bill And noticed a charge from the hotel for another 144$ even my stay was paid in full they told me they need my credit card for incidentals which I understood not from that to charging me on the spot for incidentals when I just checked in … it’s a long way I decided I cannot risk just getting a cab in the morning so I left together with my car at 3 am and used parknfly service Nightmare continued 2 days after I noticed 2 more charges in my credit card account from comfort inn one of 122.43 and one of 122.73 Called the hotel and tried to sort it out I was told all the charges are reversed Partially true because the charge of 122.73 is still in my account and I am still good to pay it. I have been to many Hampton Inns in the past, but I will say that this is one of the poorest run overall. So poor in fact that I asked the GM to call me so we could discuss my concerns. Perhaps he called you, but not me. The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. No problem there. But, pray tell, how does the TV work? The most confusing station selection process I have ever encountered. And I never mastered it. The desk clerk indicated that this is a fairly frequent complaint. So why doesn't the hotel put in each room some instructions on how to use the TV? Also, they have a strange shower in our room. Turn the handle all the way on and it is supposed to get hot. Right? Not here. The more you turn the handle, the colder it gets. If you want hot water, you turn the handle only a slight bit beyond off. The mot negative thing is the buffet breakfast. The worst in all of the system. The oatmeal was very watery and runny. Not pleasant. Try and find some cold cereal. Only a couple of boxes of corn flakes were displayed. That's it. Last time we were here they had to go in the back and find some cold cereal. The waffle maker batter was liquid cement. Took several minutes to fill the cup. Thus the resulting waffle was mostly uncooked. No pastries like other places, either. No bananas, too. Way below the standards of others we have been to. It seems like this place is convenient and since it is near an airport they feel that people want a quick in and out. And they sure lived up to that requirement. Find another accommodation.

The front desk person was more concerned with what was happening on her cell phone then waiting on me as her custom. Checked in and went to my room and then came back and found my form that I had signed just laying out on the desk. She had gone outside to use her phone several times so when I called the front desk no one wasn't answering. I needed to return my car to the rental carental car before the evening was over so I did not have to do it in the morning.. I try to find the return and and got lost. She didn't even know where I was she couldn't leave me back to the hotel. It turns out that the shuttle driver finally suggested that she'd take me and I follow her. That worked out well. My concern is that had I had an issue with help or anything and called the front desk there would be no one there to answer the phone. And literally had to go outside to find her once I realized what she was doing. I came into the front lobby and there was no one there. The next morning the night auditor was very kind to kind to make sure that the shuttle driver got there on time so I would not be late for my ride to the airport. There seems to be a little confusion as About the consistency of employee service giving to the customer. I'm not sure I would have that many family members working in the same facility.
