|1.71km from city centerWe stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during our stay in Marrakech. The hotel is nice and what you would expect for the price you pay. The room size was fine for us and had everything it needed. The only thing we had to request was an iron which they sent to us straight away. Breakfast was very good. There was a good selection all brought to your table. The staff at breakfast (Kemal and Hanan) were very friendly and accommodating. We also requested a slightly later checkout on our last day which they were happy to arrange for us. They also looked after our bags after checking out while we spent our last day outside in Marrakech :)

|1.6km from city centerWe had a great stay. Clean and nice room with comfy bed. Breakfast by the pool was great. Staffs were nice and friendly especially the door gentleman! Check-in was a bit of a pain as it took ages (lack of staff when i arrived)… we needed to rest badly but had to wait for like 20 mins. Lifts are very old and slow but luckily there wasn’t many guests so it wasn’t a burden. Ingeneral i think it was a good value hotel. We would come back!

|0.32km from city centerAdvantages: For 2 people, the room is large and the overall space feels open. The breakfast tastes good and the service is good.
Disadvantages: There are only 7 rooms, no dinner is provided after 8 o'clock, and there is only one employee on duty during the day and night. In addition, there is no kettle in the room, and there are only two wooden hangers if you don't want to.
The final details need attention and improvement: the stool in the room was found to be broken on the day of check-in, which made it dangerous to sit down and turn over easily, but the staff felt it was not important. Although it was replaced later, it affected the overall experience of staying.

|0.87km from city centerBelonging to high-end boutique hotels, the waiters are highly motivated. The double room has a large space and the sanitation facilities are clean and clean. The bedding is also quite soft and comfortable, which is the best night I have ever slept in Morocco. The surrounding dining is fully prepared, and the Chinese food and beverages are delicious. The breakfast experience is also very good, with a wide variety of dishes.

|0.58km from city centerWe’ve stayed here in December 2023, right before Christmas. This place is amazing! I don’t even know where to start! The staff are friendly, helpful and really care about you having a great time. Anything you need, they’re there to make it happen! The food is fresh and super tasty! There’s so many options and each day you have something different! We are vegetarian and that was never a problem! We also had dinner in the Riad on the first night and it was so delicious! I highly recommend it! We also did the couples hammam with massage and that was so relaxing! I really enjoyed it! The room was really stylish and clean. When I say clean it’s an understatement! We’ve never stayed in a place where your room is cleaned 2-3 times a day! At times we’d come back, shower, change and go out again and when we’d come back the room was cleaned again! The location is great: it’s local to everything! We loved our stay here and will come back for sure! This place made me fall in love with Marrakech even more! Can’t imagine staying elsewhere!

Marrakech
|4.49km from city centerOn arrival at the hotel, the main reception rooms are beautiful and have a very Moroccan feel. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The main outdoor pool area is very pretty, and the palm trees, plants and garden areas are all well maintained. Unfortunately, as we were to discover, this was a case of style over substance. The TUI website that we booked from states that there are 5 restaurants ‘to work your way around’ ‘including a fusion restaurant with a creative menu’. This is not true. There is a buffet breakfast room, a pool bar and the only restaurant in the evening was a self-service buffet in the Cat location. The choice of buffet food remained the same every night for our entire holiday. The waiters did work extremely hard here and were running around but it seemed they could do with more staff. There were never any spoons for eating deserts or breakfast. Neither were there any serving spoons for the salads. Occasionally there were tiny plastic spoons which broke when you tried to eat with them. In the evening the bar served drinks in plastic glasses. 5 Star hotel – I think not! Breakfast was very poorly managed. The waiters seemed to ration the amount of coffee we could be served. This was limited to 1 cup each – unless you were able to ‘sneak’ the coffee pot away. Pancakes were cooked fresh, but left out to go cold, with no spotlights turned on to keep them warm. I also had to ask daily for the chocolate sauce (watered down Nutella) to go with them. The cereals were limited to a choice of 3 but often no milk and again, no spoons. There ware some tiny yogurts – but again no spoons. I had to use a fork. Fresh fruit was limited to sliced orange. Used plates were left on the table for the entire meal. The hotel states that there is an outdoor pool and a heated indoor pool in the spa area. The hotel does not state that the indoor pool is chargeable at 300 MAD/ £23 per hour. This is extortionate. I have never stayed in a 5-star hotel and being charged to use the pool. No wonder we didn’t see anyone using it, despite the couple of rainy days. The gym is supposed to be air conditioned but, on each occasion, when we used the gym there was no air conditioning. It was either not switched on, broken or incorrectly described. There was a lack of working plug sockets in the bedroom. Of the 3 sockets available, we had to use 1 for everything. There was no plug socket near to a mirror to dry my hair. I had to use my iPad camera to see what I was doing. The bathroom mirror was tarnished, and I was unable to use for makeup. Insufficient clean towels were left on a regular basis. The toilet paper was so cheap, it ran out every day and needed replacing. The air conditioning did not cool the room, despite being on the lowest setting. Thankfully we were not staying in the peak of summer. The bedroom & bathroom floor were dirty and had not been washed/cleaned. The fridge in the bedroom was not cold enough to cool water and the balcony

|0.31km from city centerThe Riad is located in the west part of the medina. It’s a quick walk (~10-15 min) to the main square “Jemaa el-Fnaa”. You can walk through the nice tiny streets and experience already a lot of typical maroccan culture. Simo welcomed us with tea and sweats in his Riad and while we we’re enjoying the typical mint tea he gave us all the information we need. He recommended us what we should visit and the must sees/dos in Marrakech. Also he organized us a nice 3 day trip in to the merzouga desert, booked our bus tickets to essaouira and took care of us with special tea and some medicine when we were sick. The breakfast was huge. The rooms were clean, beautiful decorated and comfortable. The whole stuff is awesome and lovely! In total is this the place to stay in Marrakesh.. you won’t find a better place elsewhere. Thank you Simo!

Marrakech
|2.96km from city centerI rarely take the time to review but I felt some reviews were unfair. I was worried after reading the reviews after I had booked. I think most are unfair. I think people are confusing this for a 5* The prices for a couple are a little more than you would pay for a shared room in a hostel. The hotel is basic and was more than adequate for our stay. contrary to some reviews I found the staff very friendly and polite. The breakfast is basic and buffet style. A selection of 3 types of bread, boiled eggs, Green tea, coffee, pastries , Cakes, juice, msemen, cereal and a microwave to warm things if you need to. The hotel is slightly further than most but perfectly accessible. 10 minutes in taxi 13-15drh in day 30dh at night £1.5-£3 cheap. Taxis easily flagged down on the main road opposite. language is possibly an issue as other than 1 or 2 they dont really speak english. They were upfront about pricing and whilst some things they do try charging a premium for in comparison with the shops outside they are not too dear. Like everything in Marrakesh be streetsmart, ask for clarification of charges and question any charges you feel are incorrect. I was asked to pay taxes on my checkout and I had already paid it on arrival. I questioned it and he quickly corrected his error. whether he was hustling or just made an error I dont know but he was polite and corrected himself. From the old pictures on websites and from the foyer it is obvious that this place was once quite nice. it is at present tired and needs a refurb but this is reflected in the price. This is Marrakesh, the hustle is real. do your research and book something that is appropriate for you in your budget. dont book 3 star and expect 5 star. hope this helps someone considering booking I enjoyed my stay.

|2.08km from city centerWe stayed from 16 to 20 February. The riad is in a well-connected area, full of locals, 400 metres from Jemaa el-Fna and near the Medina. He crosses the street and enters the Jewish neighborhood Mellah. Very clean, on a sideway that makes it very silent, despite a few meters the traffic of Marrakech reigns sovereign. Palais Bahia and the Saadian Tombes a few meters. The room was at the latest floor (Viola room), very large and excellent for 3 people, large bathroom and terrace to live, a few meters from the Palais Badi's witches. Good breakfast, excellent wifi, many info from the very friendly and very high Hassan and Zakaria.

|1.53km from city centerThis is such a lovely place to stay in Marrakech. It is peaceful, clean and traditional. The host, Mohammed, is like a big brother who is there to make sure you are comfortable, entertained and safe. He is so pleasant and relaxed. In the Riad the facilities are really adequate, breakfast is lovely and the dinner we ate there was so easily the best and most authentic of our entire stay. We booked our trips with the help of Mohammed and as a result we were on the safe hands of our own driver who transported us safely, comfortably and in a tailored way on the typical trips at a fair price. This gave us some control over what we did which was appreciated. I would highly recommend Raid Irhalne as it's not just a place to stay but a full Marrakech experience.

|2.15km from city centerThe hotel feels very good, the room is not very big, the bathroom is a little old, some service staff are a little impatient, and some are very good. But the bed is quite comfortable and there is a big balcony. The scenery of the yard and the swimming pool are nothing to say. It's a great place for a relaxing vacation. The price is more expensive than the Four Seasons in Tunisia, so the price of more than 400 is actually a bit expensive. But guests who are not sensitive to price must choose this place.

|5.27km from city centerWe stayed at the Kech twice in the same trip in November, 2022. We landed in Marrakech and stayed there for two nights before going on a road trip to the Sahara desert, and then we returned to Marrakech and stayed at the Kech again for one night before flying out. It was all part of a packaged private tour. Our experience the first time was not very good. We felt the service was lukewarm, the room was not too clean, especially the mildew in the shower area, and the dinner buffet in the restaurant was not the Moroccan food we expected on our first night in Morocco. To add insult to injury, they wanted us to put a $20 deposit to get a couple of beach towels for the pool. We didn't expect such nickel and dime procedures in a supposedly 5 start hotel. Then six days later we returned to the hotel from our road trip to the desert. We were greeted warmly at checkin. They gave us an ”upgraded” room. It was spacious and clean, the breakfast and dinner provided were excellent, and the service was very friendly. We could open a tab at the bar, and this time, we didn't need to put a deposit to get pool towels! They even gave us a box breakfast of croissants when we had to depart from the hotel at 4:30 a.m. to cath our flight the next morning! The hotel is close to the airport, so that was convenient.

Marrakech
|0.65km from city centerI can honestly say this was one or the best trips that I've been on and what made it was the outstanding service from the full team at the Riad. I visited with my husband and 3 friends for a 4 night break in January to get some winter sun. The riad arranged transfers from the airport and we were met on the street by a member of the team who led us to the hotel and transported out bags. We were greeted warmly by name on arrival in Riad and given tea and treats while we waited for our rooms. Siahn then took time to ask what we wanted to do while on our trip and planned every small detail for us including some fabulous restaurant recommendations. Nothing was ever too much! The service was personal and better than most five star hotels that we have stayed in. Siahn is a credit to the Riad, she truly is outstanding. The suite that we booked was excellent, the interior was done to a high standard and the bathroom was next level luxury. We organised a cooking lesson in the Riad with the chef Fatima. We met at 11am, went to the markets with Siahn and Fatima to buy the ingredients and then cooked lunch together and enjoyed it on the rooftop with some wine we purchased while out and about (the Riad is dry but they were happy to provide an ice bucket and glasses) As a *** couple we were slightly nervous about staying in Morocco but it was as never an issue and we felt safe and welcome at all times. The Riad is in a great location with some many restaurants, bars and the souks just a short walk away. It’s the ideal location! As a group we have now decided to make it an annual trip, the hotel was extremely affordable and had the most perfect set up. Thank you so much for an amazing holiday! We can’t wait to come back and stay with you guys again

|10.09km from city centerJust returned from a weeks holiday. The first thing to mention are how hardworking and friendly the staff are. A special shout out to Halima in the lobby bar who always greeted you with a big smile and went the extra mile. Although to be fair you can easily say this about all staff. Without doubt the best service I have received in any hotel and I have been to a lot. Rooms are clean and of a good size for a family of 3. Air con was very good and a relief in the 40 degree heat. Lots of Sun beds and parasols. Although get down early if you are fussed where you want them. Loads of entertainment around the pool including a brilliant aqua aerobics. Also foam parties and lots of other activities going on. You will never be bored however if you just want to watch no one will hassle you to join in. The food choice is good and I would recommend entering the dining room of an evening through the lobby bar to see what the show cooking is for that night. Plenty of options for breakfast too. The snack shack serves excellent burgers. Never had to queue for a drink or table for dining. There is a good selection of cocktails to choose from and the wines are good. You can also help yourself to water, coffees and soft drinks around the pool. Weekly white party is worth a visit. Took a free coach trip from the hotel the souks and worth getting a guide to take you around for £15. This was different from our other holidays as we did not leave the hotel unless on a trip as about 30 mins from Marrakech however would definitely return.

|4.42km from city centerRegarding the room, a mixed start to my stay and a first evening, being very manic and looking at cleanliness, my first room was very dusty and poorly insulated, the next day, the reception team told me about it. changed rooms, much less dust but not up to my expectations, I think the rooms need a little more maintenance and refreshing.
Regarding the common areas, cleanliness is excellent and hydroalcoholic gel is available.
As for the gym and the swimming pool, great I have nothing to say, very well maintained.
The catering is correct too bad some of the hotel's restaurants are closed due to the Covid.
The agents at the reception, catering, SPA and swimming pool are attentive and are very responsive.
Too bad there is no possibility of transfer from the airport which is very nice when you land at 11:50 pm.
Finally, the stay went well despite some improvements to be made and a sense of detail to be developed.
Thank you for this stay.

|2.61km from city centerWe had the good fortune to book into Riad Daria for our first trip to Marrakech in May having looked at many of the different options to stay in the Medina. We were very pleased with our choice. Right from our pickup at the airport through to our departure two days later everything pretty much worked as expected. The raid is an oasis of calm in the city a great base from which to explore the city. Our room (one of the smallest) was perfect for us. The staff and the service were excellent throughout. I had mailed ahead to explain my need for gluten free food and Jen-Christophe was very helpful (it is true that majority of the fantastic moroccan breads and pastries were out of bounds to me but I am getting used to that ☹️.) and it was nice to talk to him about the Riad during our stay. We had two excellent meals in the Eclipse restaurant on the rooftop and also greatly enjoyed our Hammam! Who would have thought that a very hot bathing experience would be so enjoyable on a really hot day! Overall, we could not have made a better choice and are looking forward to returning next year!

|1.38km from city centerLike the rest of my family, I was looking forward to returning to Riad Zara, where I had already stayed 4 times. What a desappointment ! The Riad is now badly maintained (rusty chair in the patio, tile on the floor in front of the room in a thousand pieces...). Home shabby, no tea as it is usually done .. No bottled water in the rooms (we had to buy them ourselves ..). No toilet paper. At the meal we are offered a bottle of wine... And we are therefore asked at the end of the meal to pay it in cash (25 euros for a basic bottle) without it appearing on the final bill. Whether it was for the meal or the breakfast, we had to ask ourselves the same spoon to serve ourselves, sugar, water... At the end, when the bill had been calculated together, the manager told us that it's not enough and counts us the meal a second time, in an aggressive tone. Luckily the owner was there and confirmed that we had paid what was necessary... The Zara was a marvelous place a few steps from the place aux épices, but nothing remains of its splendour. The last positive reviews date from 2020. It is with sadness that I will never recommend it again.

You can end the evening on the roof terrace. In the morning the birds chirp there, in the evening cats come by on the roof .... we will definitely come back and definitely book this Riad again!

|1.56km from city centerFirst time in Morocco. Picked Riad Azra based on location, ratings and price - I was not disappointed by any of them. Donia, works reception, was the kind of person you can’t help but like upon meeting her. She was so helpful in coordinating tours, laundry, even coordinated a traditional Moroccan meal for me at the Riad. She shared info about their culture and general tourist advice. She did it all with the greatest attitude and smile. The other shining star was Adil who did everything from reception to cook to server. He is the one who cooked an outstanding traditional meal for me. This place had the best service of anyplace I have ever stayed. Granted it is sorta hard to find in the maze of streets but I would stay here again without a doubt.

|0.92km from city centerBeen to Dubai, stayed at the Amaha Desert Hotel and Jumeirah Group Hotel, still feel that this is the best. Everything is as beautiful as the picture. I enjoy a building and the copper lamp is very beautiful. I prefer the one in the toilet. The toiletries are complete and are also packed in delicate cloth bags. The comb is a wooden comb and has a great impression. Health is very good, we refused when there was cleaning service at night, because there is no need. The breakfast is also delicious, the bread dessert is a fragrant, and the dinner is not eaten at dinner. You can try it. The courtyard design is very good. It came out and found beautiful, many beautiful flowers, and very quiet. I have never seen other guests except the restaurant. The hotel can pick up and drop off guests, not to call a taxi. It is the staff of the staff who drive Mercedes Bentley to pick up. The next day we switched to the raid in the wheat field. We had to contact the other party to pick up the phone. As a result, the staff of Mansour were all connected, seamlessly connected and perfect. The most touching thing is that the details show the intention, the signature card, the delicious cake fruit. Since we wanted to change the hotel later, we booked a car at noon. I thought the hotel would remind us to check out. Who knows that there is no such thing. No one reminded me that the check-out time is up. We have to go back to the room at 12:45. Probably also know that I am leaving at 1 o'clock, so I don't remind me, very intimate details.

|5.67km from city centerWe have been fortunate to travel the world and stay in many of the most renowned hotels globally, including two decades in Asia, but the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech stands out for being an exceptional resort hotel in a magical city. The gardens, public areas and pool are beautiful, the villas amazing, and the food throughout is fantastic (Ling Ling, breakfast and room service all excellent). However, the genuine hospitality of Marcel Thoma and his excellent team made our stay truly memorable - nothing was too much trouble, and we felt special from the moment we arrived to the last farewell. We visited and ate at several of the other well known hotels in Marrakech - so glad we booked the Mandarin as it is definetely the best by far in my opinion. We had a truly wonderful stay. Thank you so much to the incredible MO Marrakech team - we can't wait to return!
