I'm Brazilian and I don't speak English fluently, but I can understand if the person speaks slowly and patiently. Unfortunately, the receptionist who received me did not want to help. I had difficulties with the food, there were no meals at the hotel, I couldn't get directions on where to go to eat. I was accompanied by my 7-year-old daughter who cried because she had nothing to eat, and the problem was not being able to buy, but someone helping me where I should be buying. I had problems with the delivery of an application and, again, the receptionist did not propose to help me. I'm disappointed

We called ahead and alerted the hotel that we would be checking in late and gave them a time. Nothing else was said except that they’d note it in our booking. We got there a few hours later (at midnight) only to be told when pulling into the lot that they had shut down a whole floor due to plumbing issues. We told him we would take any room he had. The guy asked what kind of booking we had and then called and told us since it was a prepaid res to go tell the front desk he sent us. We parked and went to the front desk where the same guy acted like we were crazy and told us we were supposed to go to the hotel out back. He hadn’t mentioned another hotel at all. So we went through the alley he told us to and found the sister hotel (Robert Treat BW) and we’re given a room that in no way compared to the room we had booked and paid for at Tryp. Things happen and I get that but they should have been calling people to let them know what happened. I would have rather been refunded and found different accommodations myself than to find out after a 12 hour drive that I don’t have a room and that the “comparable” room they had to offer was a closet sized room with a full size bed.

Nice hotel, but not in a good neighborhood and no restaurants or amenities nearby. Room was nice - king bed, sectional sofa for watching big screen TV, desk with task chair, little area with coffee maker and min fridge, plus standard bathroom with glass shower stall. Comfortable and quiet. Had a nice Starbucks coffee, bacon egg sandwich and a juice. Bit expensive but good. Otherwise nice hotel, just Uber as the parking garage or lot is not attached to hotel.

We stayed at the Element this past weekend and had a fantastic experience. Quick Overview - Staff was super nice, picked us up from the airport, held our bags while we went into the city before check in, Path station is across the street, great location with several restaurants nearby, hotel lobby and our room was clean, breakfast had plenty of variety (even stayed open 5 extra minutes for our teenagers who over slept), they have a nice bar & grill with good food and reasonable prices. Then to top it off, my daughter left her vintage magazine she bought in NYC. I thought for sure it was gone. Nope, the staff found it and dropped it in the mail to us this morning. AAA+++ Customer Service

The overall feeling of the hotel is good, the location is closer to the Newark Broad train station. A little further away from Path. Direct access to NY Pennsylvania Station (you can change to the subway to go to various places). The room size is as described. Breakfast is fine. Service attitude is also very good. There is Shuttle Bus pick-up service but the waiting time is a little longer. We recommend this hotel by all means!

Am a woman 57 years traveling alone and it was easy for me after the long flight in the vicinity to have a place to stay. *** must have no big claims the air conditioning outside are very loud and for one night completely o. k. when *** is over-tired. Otherwise it was again very uncomfortable to come as a wise woman in a neighborhood where only dark skinned and *** was just stared and addressed. Couple no problem alone as a woman, I would not do it anymore. *** had to walk for about half an hour until *** could reach the subway to drive direction *** hattan.

I just want to say that my stay at the comfort suite in Newark/Harrison was Extremely Pleasant not only the price but one of the main reasons I return is the customer service namely an employee name Ms.Viv I must say she goes above and beyond her duty in making me feel welcome also being Extremely patient with me..so this is my first choice anytime I want to get away for a day or too.

Arrived at Newark Airport late on a Sunday evening only to find we’d forgotten to pack our apartment keys, so we were going to have to find a hotel. The nearest was Marriott Newark Airport, but they didn’t have a vacancy. The staff there were very helpful and found us a room at the nearby Marriott Courtyard to which they had a 24-hr shuttle bus. The accommodation was excellent and the staff again very helpful and polite. Faultless service in finding a solution for us at such short notice. Thoroughly recommended!

We stayed here for a night before taking an early morning flight. Clean room and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is about 10 mins. drive to and from the Liberty International Airport. Free hotel shuttle runs every 30mnts. from the hotel. The shuttle is shared with Home2 guests as well and drops you off at all terminals(A,B C...). You have to let the hotel front desk know what time you need the shuttle. Hotel offered grab and go breakfast bags if you have to leave early in the morning if the breakfast area is closed. Hotel offered a menu with international cuisine. Check it out.

Lesson learned……a reservation is never a guarantee that they will keep your room!! I booked this hotel because it was close to the airport and my west coast flight would be getting in late. The flight was delayed (as many are right now). I called the hotel to inform them of my late arrival and ask them if there was anything i needed to fo. They receptionist said they would make a note of my late arrival. At 12:30am i arrive to check in…..only to be greeted by the RUDE Phyllis who informed me that they gave my room away. I said “but I called ro tell yoh I was coming late,” Didn’t matter!!!! They were over sold and I had to scramble for a hotel room at 1am in a city I’ve never been to before!!! Do not stay here!!!

Close to Airport, much more reliable than stay in NYC and rush over through the horrible traffic to catch a flight. huge room with duo queen beds. The towels are old and look dirty. Sound-proof is not good, I can hear upstairs moving furniture and shower, etc, and can hear frequent train horn because this hotel is quite close to the train station.

I arrived at Newark Liberty International Airport late at night and felt uncomfortable going straight to Manhattan, so I stayed for one night because it was near the airport. There was also a shuttle bus, so I took it from the airport for free. From the airport to the shuttle bus zone It can be a bit difficult, so search in advance for directions. Since my flight arrived late at night, I checked in even though I went after 00:00. A deposit of $50 is required. Cash/card both accepted. Since it is a Hilton-affiliated hotel, you can check in online by installing the app, and you can use your smartphone as a room key. I just received a card key. Perhaps because I got a king room, the room was very spacious. The amenities weren't bad either. However, there is no toothpaste, toothbrush, razor, or foam cleansing, so take them with you. Breakfast seemed to be included in all rooms, and although it was simple, it was very delicious. The TV in the room was also a smart TV and could be connected wirelessly to the iPad I brought, which was very convenient. The downside was that the bathtub was too small? And the soundproofing is not very good (I heard a lot of cars outside rather than sounds from other rooms). Actually, I was so tired that I passed out without paying any attention to it. I left a $1 tip. If you paid a deposit in cash when checking out, please return it at checkout and the card will be automatically canceled after checkout. To go to Manhattan, I took the hotel shuttle to Newark Liberty International Airport and then used the airtrain. Excellent value for money accommodation!

Advantages: good location, free parking, free bus to the airport, and then into New York, but this way is more expensive, 2 people need 61 knives to return to and from New York, it is better to park in New York, it will be dozens of knives all day, if more than 2 people suggest driving, it is good to start early, Especially on Sundays in New York, many free parking spaces. After a long flight from the UK we arrived to check in and were greeted by very friendly reception staff who asked us all about our trip, where we were travelling to etc, so we explained we were at the start of a roadtrip. We asked if our room rate included breakfast, it didn't, but the very helpful Nate said he wanted our trip to get off to a good start and gave us a voucher for breakfast. Was a lovely gesture, very welcome and the next morning it set us up for the day - thanks Nate! The hotel itself was fine, the room perfectly adequate. Our only issue was the family across the corridor. I think there had been a problem with their room so they were in the hallway making such an amount of noise which carried on inside the room. I believe several complaints were made as it was as though there was a party going on. Security came up a couple of times and it eventually quietened down. Just not what we needed at 11pm onwards after a long flight, nor I'm sure did anyone else.

I stayed here the night before an early flight out of Newark. The front desk lady, had a great attitude and she was so friendly and helpful. She assisted me with a food delivery driver that was “lost” and when he never showed, she gave me a tip to a restaurant that would deliver. She proactively got me set up on the airport shuttle. The morning of my flight, the two ladies working in the lobby greeted me and offered to assist me with the shuttle. They offered a to go snack since I was leaving before breakfast. Then they chatted with me and other guests waiting for the shuttle. The hotel was sparkly clean and smelled nice and fresh. There was tea/coffee and cookies in the lobby and snacks for purchase.
