Not including breakfast. There is a small restaurant downstairs and the extra bed depends on the size of the room. This is a compact business hotel with children. The hotel is located very close to the city hall. There is a trade Joes next to McDonald's. Academy of music is just next to 15 minutes walk to Chinatown about 10 minutes to macy and a street with more shopping shops

The hotel is exactly what you would expect - a Hampton Inn in the middle of a large city. Parts of the neighborhood around it are not that great but it is almost adjacent to the convention center and I always felt safe. The hotel staff/security are very visible at all times. What makes this an excellent rating for me is the staff. The staff at this hotel are TOP NOTCH! Every single employee was kind, caring, and engaging. A shout out to Kevin who helped me get receipts together for submitting for business expenses. They even mailed a sweater to me that I left behind. Just can't say enough about the wonderful customer service at this hotel.

This is a professional chain economy hotel. The front desk staff and customer service staff are enthusiastic and attentive, and the breakfast is affordable to meet the tastes of different guests. The biggest regret is that most rooms do not have windows, and the comfort of living has been greatly affected. I think the hotel & # 127976; is also impossible to be renovated, and the cost is not high ...

We booked the Notary for a Presidents Day weekend trip to Philly. We primarily booked it for its perfect location in Center City, easily walkable to the Independence Hall area, though walking to the museum areas might be a stretch for some. The hotel is across the street from City Hall, and you can walk around and view some of the outdoor artwork that Philly is known for. The lobby is gorgeous. Check-in on the Bonvoy app was easy, and we used our phones as keys for the room. They are in the process of modernizing their elevators, so it would take some time to get down to the ground floor from our room, between waiting and then stopping on almost every floor on the way down. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The window looking out to the city was a little small, but totally understandable considering the building is on the register of historic places. The restaurant could use some work, primarily with staffing. We called down to ask how long a wait for a table would be, and were told no wait. However, when we got to the restaurant, we were told they were only taking diners with reservations, no walkups. Luckily, when we told them of the phone call, they did seat us after a 20-30 minute wait. Our waitress made it very clear that they were understaffed and she was overworked. The food was okay, drinks were better. Breakfast seemed to be staffed more appropriately, and again the food was okay. You're probably better off looking at the many restaurants around Center City (or uber to Dante's & Luigi's like we did on our second night). Valet also seemed understaffed, though they were up front about the expected wait once we called down for our car (20-30 mins). Overall, very nice hotel, could use some help with staffing restaurant. Would stay here again.

The location of this hotel is perfect. It's close to a lot of the must see here in Philly. But don't go out alone at night. Don't trust anybody. I don't care if they look trustworthy. Use your better judgment on what you think is best. If you get lost go into a business and ask for help, call the non-emergency number or use the map on your phone. Be safe.

It’s all ok, but the bed is too soft, and the staff is very service attitude. I often go to Philadelphia and I can choose here next time. There is no breakfast in the hotel. I don’t know if it’s because of the epidemic or something. Sometimes I get up in a hurry to get things done. It’s a bit time-consuming to go to the street for breakfast

The room was nice. However on the 11/20/21 night time. There was a big noise maybe from the central furnace or the central boiler when i went to the room around 10.30 night. The noise did not stop until i check out the room. I inform the receptionist but they said they can not do anything because its book from outside website. I couldnt sleep all night. I had a 7 hours trip home. I was driving daisy all day. Bad experience in a very good hotel location

Friendly staff, clean room... contemporary design in the room, but the bathroom felt a little dated to me. Nicely decorated, but definitely saw clues of where the building and room was on the older side... for example, we had 4 ppl staying in the room, but there was no place to hang used bath towels in the bathroom... so we hung towels in the closet on hangers. Weird right? The hotel was generally nice, but a few quirks kinda got under my skin. First, we did self parking and while there is a garage in the building (convenient) the signage for where to park is vague at best. Eventually we found an employee who told us we could park on the first floor (closest to street) - but in spots marked as ”reserved”... of course this happened after we drove all the way to the bottom of the garage, looking for ”Westin guests park here” signs. Secondly, we were there on a long weekend and wanted to do some sightseeing. It was a healthy 15-20 min walk to the Reading Terminal Market (a comfortable walk around/through City Hall), and we had to drive to Chinatown. On this particular trip to Philly we didn't visit Independence Hall, but that isn't close either. Nice place, but there are definitely more convenient hotels for tourists.

I was deciding between 2 and 3 stars but he bed is comfortable and the gym is nice. Breakfast is your average type. My room was pretty clean minus something blackish on the tub wall. My air conditioner soaked the carpet, my iron did not work and I had no hangers. They did bring me them pretty prompt when I asked. My colleague came in at 9pm and there was some confusion whether she booked 2 rooms. At midnight, someone from the desk called her to ask her if she booked 2 rooms. At Midnight!. Walls seem a little thin as I could hear lots of noise in the hallway and the people walking upstairs. I wouldn't stay again.

OVERALL STAY: The staff was super friendly and helpful. Location was perfect. Close to a lot of attractions. Only two issues the rooms: rooms are NOT very clean and COVID-19 precautions. ROOMS: The first room assigned looked as if no one had cleaned. The second room looked as if the bed was made, fridge clean, and bathroom was SPOT checked. The floor nasty. Didn't even take my socks off the entire stay. Shower, disgusting. I refused to shower there (thank goodness my house is an hour away). The safe was filled with trash. COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS: With Covid they should take better cleaning measures to ensure the risk of spreading is cut. Even some staff members didn't wear masks, despite the multiple signs stating it was a requirement to enter the establishment. If guests are expected to follow this rule, staff members should also. I personally wouldn't not recommend but if you have no other choice at least you are ensured a bed.

The location is awesome. Easy to get to and from the major attraction in the city. i was there for the Penn Relays and it was a great, easy scenic 1.5 mile walk to and from each day. Got my exercise while seeing the city from on foot. Best of all on my walks this was how i decided where I would eat breakfast and dinner. So I was able to try something different each day. i was a little tempted to try Ruth Chris but I did not :(. The train ride to and from the airport was quick, easy directions to follow and though not the most scenic ride on the train, seeing the steel and stuff looks industrial America. I likes!! I did try one of the take out Chinese food spots ..oh man.. that was colorful to say the least...Bring Your Own Bag!! What an experience that was.. I guess its a city thing. The room was nice. I got real comfy real fast. The bed was super comfy and the view reminded me of my college days in NY. Just watching cars go by and at night with the lights reflecting off the windows creating various patterns. My only challenge was the TV... can you believe after all that good stuff my issue was the TV!? Just the hardest thing to navigate. maybe its cause I dont watch enough TV. :).

Checked in late Christmas night. Everyone at the desk area was super nice, and helpful with any of my questions or needs. My room was clean and everything I expect from this brand. I would guess this hotel will going to update their bathrooms soon to the modern showers, but mine was perfectly fine. Can't beat the location. Walking distance to anything you need to see, buy, or eat. The indoor market next door is the highlight, and an absolute must see. I was politely and quickly moved to a different room on my last night, to further myself from a non stop barking dog. Thank you Other than not given the $10 a day Hilton Honors credit which I was told I could use, I had a wonderful stay.

The important thing to note about me is that my #1 priority in a hotel is that its clean and has a bed and a shower. If you are just looking for a place to sleep than this will do. I don't generally need a lot of fuss and in those categories it excelled. The location was also great because we could leave our car parked and walk everywhere. The cost for what it was though was too high as it was just a budget hotel. Also, the refrigerator froze everything ruining my salad and not just a little, it was cold enough that it caused several sodas we had in there to burst. The drain in the tub did not drain. It was not really clear whether there was daily cleaning service or not, I know a lot of places stopped doing this during the pandemic but usually its noted somewhere or they tell you. The first day they didn't come but the second day they did come in and make our beds and leave fresh towels. This was kind of an issue because there were four of us and three towels and nowhere to hang them up. The highway was a little loud but it didn't bother us.

The road in front of the hotel has a main road and a secondary road with a separation belt in the middle. Baidu navigation has always been prompted to sit on the road, the result has been walking on the left main road, eyes can not enter the hotel, have to turn back. The room was clean and the service was good. No coffee pot, no hot water, instant noodles can't be soaked. The left hand of the hotel is not far from the intersection. I have mixed reviews about this place. We visited from out of town and wanted to see all the historic aspects of Philly. The location for this hotel is perfect walking distance to most historic sites which we enjoyed! However, upon check in, we received a room with a window next to a busy street and fire station. It was so loud all the time on the second floor ( room 206) and at night and morning due to buses and emergency vehicles leaving. Bring earplugs! We immediately noticed this when we entered the room and put our stuff down and called the front desk but they would not change our room due to it being sold out. I’m don’t believe it. Had our room had bugs or bed bugs, they would have switched us immediately. The walls are pretty thin too and we had some loud neighbors with music and tv blasting at the beginning. The hotel promptly came up and took care of that for us. There is no complimentary breakfast which I knew about but figured we’d find a cafe close each morning and grab something. Don’t rely on that! There are no cafes close. The last thing I want to think about is finding breakfast after I get ready. The buffet breakfast was decent but $20 a person. And one waffle a la carte was $14. With a family, that’s just too expensive for a 4 night stay. They did have a grab and go section for small cereals but nothing filling. I enjoyed that the hotel had a parking garage but wow $44 a day!!! That’s crazy! There were very limited hotels in the city that have parking so I choose a hotel with parking and close to historic sites versus one that didn’t include breakfast. But honestly, if I had to choose again, I’d spend more money and make sure my hotel included breakfast, parking, and wasn’t close to any emergency hubs. The hotel rooms is not very updated but the lobby is. Popcorn ceilings in rooms. The tvs are just cable and not updated smart tvs. The only light in the small bathroom is the warm yellow light around the mirror. Beds were comfy. Take your money elsewhere and enjoy upgraded amenities and services.

The Hilton is a great place to stay no matter if your visiting or going to make it your home for awhile, I recommend it not just because of the big flatscreen TV's and cable on demand in every room. But other things such as the complimentary breakfasts they have cooked fresh at the lobby every morning, as well as the dinners they serve every Wednesday are just as good. Overall, the staff and people treat you like family, as well as the fellow tenets I recommend this place to anyone who needs a place to stay when visiting anything around the Philadelphia area, especially since the location makes it convenient for traveling to most of the favorite dinners and hot-spots. 5 stars!! We’re so glad we found a comfortable and friendly hotel in Philly when visiting our kids who attend a nearby college. Our last stay was fantastic, thanks to hotel manager Nicole and her excellent team, who really made us feel at home. Our room was perfect and it was so nice that they were able to accommodate our request for a certain floor and view. We were even welcomed back with a handwritten note in our room. We are most likely forgetting some of the wonderful team members here, but Montrose, Alesha, Sheyenne, and Daoud were really helpful and very friendly at the front desk and concierge desk. Also great were Jackie, Teresa, and others in the club lounge. Service in the club lounge was excellent, even when things got busy, and the food was good, too, with a number of options to choose from. Between the friendly staff, personal attention, and proximity to both university city and center city, we know we will be back!

Room not properly cleaned. There was open drinks and food in the refrigerator. The room smelled moldy. The toilet paper holder was broken and just hanging at a downward angle. I booked the room for three people but only two sets of towels were in the room. There was no soap at all. I think the sheets were clean, but with these issues and lack of attention to cleaning and the state of the room in general, I have my doubts. Front desk and staff were friendly, although I was never asked how my stay was when I checked out. I am a Hilton Diamond member and was not given an upgrade and I had to ask for the water that I was supposed to receive. I received the food/beverage credit for one day but not the second.

Unbelievable how rude the bar tender “TIM” is to customers. The cost of drinks are high, the food cost is high and then you have to endure the rudeness of the bar tender. I sat there for an hour with friends and thought maybe it was only me but then noticed he did it to everyone. Snippy responses about “I have what you see on the bar” when asked do you have “this brand or that brand”. Overall he kills the experience and would not recommend going to the bar if he is tending it.

Old City Philadelphia is a good area for tourists but this Marriott may not be the best choice for lodging in the area. It is convenient to some of the historic sites like Independence Hall and it's also convenient for Headhouse Square (restaurants on South Street) and the Ritz movie theatre. But the hotel is close to I95 so you'll hear traffic unless you ask for the quiet side of the hotel. Our room had inadequate air conditioning - it was a blessing when the AC ran because it quieted the outside noise. But it ran infrequently. I was here for a conference and the conference rooms are convenient and adequate. But don't plan to dine at the hotel. At check in we were gifted with a voucher for the buffet breakfast which normally costs $17.95. Wow! First, the buffet consists of oatmeal, sausage, eggs and fruit. There are packages of bagels and bread, and some cookies. There were no extras (they were all out) for oatmeal toppings. It's all self service and I had to clean a table before sitting - I don't mind, but the attitude of the attendant I did mind. She was gruff. At one point someone dropped fruit salad on the floor and picked up the pieces of fruit but the liquid was still obvious - the attendant just threw up her hands when someone pointed to the spill - hoping to avoid a fall. The attendant just didn't care. I asked her for a bowl and she just plopped a stack next to me - no comments. Very rude. Anyone who pays $17.95 for this ”buffet” will be sorely disappointed. You can walk over to Headhouse Square, 10 minutes away, and get a great breakfast for less money at the South Street Diner. Overnight parking is expensive at the hotel. Housekeeping was sketchy at first - all I got was a refresh of the towels until I found the housekeeping manager and asked that the room be cleaned.

Excellent stay from beginning to end! Property was ideally located right outside the city and adjacent to the University of Penn. I really appreciated the adequate supply of good restaurants and the youthful vibe. Deno at the front desk was professional, personable, affable, knowledgeable and accommodating. I came in earlier than check in time due to a red eye flight that I had taken. He gave me a room that just happened to be cleaned and available. Thanks that allowed me to catch up on a couple hours of sleep which really helped make a difference in my trip👍👍 Breakfast was excellent! I will definitely return and this is from a 13 year former head-waiter at a Ritz Carlton in California who knows what service is about. Great job again for exceeding my expectations!!👍👍👍

Be safe.

Ben and Sam were amazing! Thanks for a great stay. Room was clean. Bed was very comfy. Housekeeping staff were very rude. Only negative during our stay. We paid for late checkout but they were very aggressive at our door all morning so don’t pay for late checkout if you don’t absolutely have to.
