There are too few introductions to this resort on Ctrip. Fortunately, the platform’s customer service has always been helpful in communicating and answering questions, otherwise it would be a blind box. The pier on the island turned out to be the pier of Skyland Beach. Grab taxi coordinates are Beringgis Riverside Seafood Restaurant, which is about 30 minutes' drive from downtown KK. There are two speedboats to the island every day, at 9 am and 3 pm. One thing we regretted most was not getting to the island until 3 o'clock. It only takes fifteen minutes to get to the island from the pier, and the time is so short that seasickness is impossible. Ara Dinawan Coral Island is a private island. It originally had three resorts, but the other two are closed, so you can explore the entire island after checking in. Since this resort was built the latest, the government has not allowed the construction of houses due to the protection of corals, so we can only build tents. There are more than ten tents in the resort, and the family room is slightly larger, with a large bed and an IKEA tent. The bunk beds are just enough for our family of four, and we can directly see the sea. We stayed for two nights and a total of three families stayed on the island. There are many entertainment options on the island. You can hear the call of gray hornbills when you wake up in the morning (the housekeeper said there are three gray hornbills on the island, and we saw two this time). We walked about 500 meters along the coastline to arrive at 7 o'clock. The southwest coast of the island is called Tina Bend as mentioned in a book. After the tide goes out, you can see a large field of coral fragments. You can pick up coral stones and even beautiful clams; After breakfast at eight o'clock, we will go snorkeling on the island to see live corals (personally, I feel that the corals here are no worse than those seen at sea); Ten Points Resort arranges a speedboat trip to see the corals for an hour with tourists who take island hopping day trips (most of the people who come here for island hopping are Koreans and locals, because there is no day trip to Dinawan Island on any major domestic platform. Tour route); After returning from the sea, the parasailing speedboat reserved at 11 o'clock was already waiting at the pier for 100 MYR per person. My daughter had a great time experiencing it for the first time; We come back from parasailing just in time for a sumptuous lunch to replenish our energy (remember to save some chicken, we will use it later); After lunch, take the time to kayak, because the tide will rise quickly, and paddling will be tiring when the waves are big; If you are tired, hungry or thirsty, you can go to the restaurant to replenish your afternoon tea. At this time, they can take out the chicken left over from lunch and go fishing on the pier. The fish here are almost unwary. My daughter has never fished before and actually caught several pomfrets. In the evening There is a BBQ for late night snacks. This is the first time for us to eat fresh pomfret and bream. The ones we eat in China are all frozen; When tourists leave the island, they can ride an ATV (RM70 for half an hour). There is a specially designed cycling route on the island. You can find that there is a small lotus pond on the island. After riding with my son for three times, he was still unwilling to come down; At 5:30, the housekeeper will take the overnight guests to the beach on the northwest coast to watch the sunset and sunset. He takes a lot of beautiful photos. The children play on the beach and are reluctant to go back; Go back to the tent and take a rest. At seven o'clock, we have a sumptuous dinner that we are looking forward to. The food is the most delicious since this trip to KK. Every meal is different. The most common fried rice noodles, fried river noodles, fried rice and fried noodles are all very delicious, and there is also BBQ beef. The chicken, steak, and chicken soup are really great. Buy two cans of Tiger Ice Beer from the canteen. Is there such a thing as a pleasant life? Do you think this is the end? After dinner, the housekeeper will light a bonfire at the beach, blowing the sea breeze, listening to the waves, lying on the beach chair beside the bonfire, chatting with friends from West Malaysia, and agreeing to go to Semporna next time he comes to East Malaysia. Finally, let’s talk about the aspects of the resort that may be problematic for other people: the tents are not powered from 9 am to 3 pm; there is no wifi on the island but the data card still has a signal; there are more mosquitoes in the restaurant at night, it is recommended Be prepared to prevent mosquitoes; the room rate includes breakfast but does not include lunch and dinner. Our group of 4 adults and 2 children paid an additional MYR 1,000 for two nights, MYR 100/day for adults and MYR 50/day for children. The key is that it is good Eat! The whole family was very satisfied with the taste. At first, they were worried that the food on the island would not be good, so they carried some instant noodles. Overall, it is a very playable island.

My family have just had a lovely stay at Langkah Syabas beach resort. Run by an Australian guy and his Malay wife. Located by the beach, just south of KK, this resort has two swimming pools. We were upgraded so had a sea facing villa with a fan covered outdoor seating area and sun loungers. The room had everything you required... tea and coffee facilities, a fridge, tv, hot shower. Queen and single beds were handy as we have young children. Breakfast was great. Coffee machine for fresh strong coffee. Sausages! Hot food. Juices, fruit s, toast... The usual. Sausages were spot on! We ate dinner every night at the resort which was a bit pricey for Sabah. Expected on resorts. Children's meals were reasonable. Have to say, the food was very good. An alternative is D'Soka which is just a five min walk down the main road. They serve excellent local food. Couldn't get enough of the coconut shakes! Pool was well maintained and looked after, same with the grounds. Saw the pool guy twice in our four day stay. Staff were really good too throughout our stay. We chose not to have our room cleaned on the second day but then didn't get it done on the third day when we put the sign out. Not a big deal, waters and fresh towels got delivered to our room. All in all a great stay. Would recommend for a few days but there is not much around the hotel so wouldn't personally recommend stays longer than a week. Although we met some who come back year on year for over a week. Would come back for a stay. Only 15 mins from KK airport (RM15 in a grab).
