Excellent farmhouse resort akin to living in a private resort with luxurious forest and plantations within the village . Two 5-Star resorts are within walking distance from Havelock Harmony resort and the owner's son Mr Kaushik.Shil was very tech savy and helpful. If you have your private transport like a 2-wheeler or car for travelling around tiny havelock island at your own convenience then this resort is excellent .2-Wheelers are available for hire just outside Havelock Jetty in Govindnagar.

My recent three-night stay at Sunray Homes in Port Blair was simply delightful. The location is unbeatable, with popular attractions within walking distance. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home. The rooms are impeccably clean, and the view, especially during sunrise and sundown, is breathtaking. There are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby, and Marina Beach is just a stone’s throw away for evening strolls. One thing to note is that there’s no elevator, so if you’re traveling with elderly or have difficulty with stairs, it’s best to inquire about accommodations on the first floor. Overall, Sunray Homes felt like a home away from home, and I can’t wait to visit again next year!

This is a gem of a hotel.It has amazing staff, who go out of their way to attend to your every need. The rooms are clean and comfortable, room service is prompt. The rooftop restaurant has a decent menu, and the food is tasty. A special thanks to Sumit and Lalitha at the front desk , as well as Ritu, Rahul and Sujoy at the restaurant, for a very enjoyable stay. I understand that those who wish to stay away from the city's hustle and bustle can afford to do so. However, I did not enjoy my stay at this place for the following reasons: 1. There is no catering service inside the room, not even basic amenities like water. Guests need to step out of their rooms to arrange for these services from nearby restaurants. This was a big disappointment. 2. Most of the rooms suffer from waterlogging in the sewerage system. 3. The water pressure inside the washroom is very low. 4. A lot of areas inside the hotel have no light coverage it is tough to make it neat & clean for it's close to nature's idea. You will be shocked before entering the reception lobby by seeing the placard ”Open your shoes”.

We stayed for two nights at Ile Bay Resort at Havelock. It's a newly built resort and not on beach side. So the budget was within our limit. I read some Google reviews and decided to book. But was sceptical about the stay. As soon as we reached the property, the first impression was wow. It's a very nice duplex challet type rooms. We got one at first floor. For my parents I requested one at ground floor and they arranged it instantly. Rooms are spacious,with a balcony.wash room is very spacious and neat and clean as well. Staffs are always ready to fulfill your needs. Food is okish but the hospitality surplus the taste. Only con is at evening you can't hang out as it's far from hustle bustle. Instead you can enjoy inside resort, by pool side or just sitting in balcony with your partner and having nice chitchat. Highly recommended for an enjoyable stay at Havelock

The hotel location is awesome. It has a private beach access, which has stunning views with tree branches hanging horizontally towards the sea. The beach has good mix of corals and white sand. We did snorkelling and were amazed to see the marine life nearby the beach. The hotel staff was very cooperative and always willing to help. It is just 10 - 15 minutes from the airport; 5- 10 minutes from the cellular jail; 2 minutes from the Haddo jetty (to catch the ferry to Havelock island); 10 minutes from the Samudrika and Anthropology museum. There is also a small daily needs shop, one minutes walking distance. 2) Beautiful views: Since it is on the second floor and sea facing, it has breathtaking views from the balcony and some of the rooms. Perfect place to relax and unwind while looking at the blue sea. 3) Very clean: The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, with fresh sheets, fresh towels, etc 4) Size: The rooms were a good size with ample space to walk around. The bathrooms were quite large, which is a bonus. 5) Air-conditioner: The air-conditioners cooled the room even in the hottest months. 6) Staff: The manager, David was very friendly and helpful.

I wanted to book Sandhya Residency but misguided to book this one. In fact, this is another property of Sandhya Residency but the difference is like hell (AJs Home) and heaven (Sandhya). The location is far away from prime tourist spots and the overall ambience is very poor. You can get much better accommodation within this price. Since I required to pay (50%) in advance, and there was no return policy so just spent half of the period then I left this hotel and booked in another hotel (Hotel Atlanta Cottage, Near Cellular Jail). TRY TO AVOID.

This is strictly a low budget hotel. IF you can get it for Rs1500- 2000 then it is ok based on the amount paid . But anything more you will be very disappointed. The rooms are very small size so it is only recommended for 2 people. Anything more it will be very cramped. The room decor is very average. Bathroom's are dimly lit and stained. There are lizards all around and they enter the room. At night on/around door you will find 4-5 lizards . The hotel room surroundings are overgrown shrubs which invite more insects. Breakfast is just puri chole and shvai upma each day. one Good policy they have is to allow guests to pay RS 500 to stay 3/4 hrs beyond checkout time of 8 am which is useful if ferry leaves at noon. On Neil Island the stay options are limited but I would recommend trying to find something better if you are travelling with family and children. For bachelors or people wanting lower budget stay they can evaluate if it fits their needs

Linens were clean and sleep quality was decent. Not much of a view but you can see some portions of the bay from the room window. AC worked fine. TV was ok and working. Breakfast served in room and has limited options. It's ok for a place like this. What was really great that for your Baratang early morning trip, they arrange packed breakfast in time. That's a great savior. Lot's of restaurants around and online food delivery is also avilable. Overall a good place at a reasonable rate.
