The hotel reminded me of New York City's Empire State Building with the Art Deco motif. It's an old classic look which I found to be very appealing. Location wise it's less than 10 minutes on foot from Sapporo station. There are a number of tourist, shopping, nightlife and restaurant spots all within walking distance. The view from the room was spectacular and everything was very clean. The breakfast, especially the waffle station, was delicious and offered a wide variety of western and Asian dishes.

The hotel location is excellent, just several minutes' walking distance from Sapporo Station, and best of all, you can use the underground pass and use the elevator at exit 23, and from there it is only around 200m to the hotel (or exit 22 if you do not mind walking the stairs, then it is only around 150m to the hotel). We stayed there in winter when it was snowing heavily outside, so we were very grateful for this. Less than 10 minutes' walk away are famous landmarks such as Sapporo Beer Factory, Sapporo TV Tower and Odori Park. The staff were all very patient, friendly and helpful. Room is quite standard sized for a Japanese hotel in the city, small but clean. I liked the fact that they have a wide range of pillows that you can freely choose from, and also that there are coin-operated washing machines and dryers available. Our rooms came with breakfast at the adjoining Yayoi restaurant. I am not sure whether it is standard for this hotel or whether it is because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but there was no buffet, and instead breakfast is available in only 4 fixed options (3 Japanese style and 1 Western style), which is the same every day. For example, no eggs, milk, cereal, etc. as what you might expect from a standard Western style breakfast, and the side dishes for the Japanese style options are also fixed so there is no variety. It is not a big problem for the average traveller just staying one or two nights, but having more variety would be nice for example when you are staying for more than a few days, or are a fussy eater. Children set meals are also available at very affordable prices.

This early summer when restrictions on movement were lifted, a mini trip to Sapporo, which was planned from last year, and Sapporo itself is the first time in about 30 years since the last time I visited on a business trip during my active career. It is about 40 minutes from New Chitose Airport by JR rapid train, about 7 〜 8 minutes walk from Sapporo Station, about 7 〜 8 minutes walk from the station, and it is said that it is a long-established hotel in several hotels in the city. The appearance is a history. I feel calm There was. New Otani Hotel has been deployed all over the country, and I was also indebted to the group Hotel Makuhari & Hakata 々 because of the work area at the time of active service. This was my first time using an inn in Sapporo, but from the past experience, I realized the high level of service level quality common to the national group based on the corporate philosophy of the New Otani Hotel Group. I think that the inn in Sapporo also has a similar calm atmosphere, customer service, and texture of the dishes are all at a satisfactory level. Although the building itself is old, I feel that the maintenance and cleaning in the building are well done. On the other hand, if you want to say that you are looking at rebuilding and redevelopment because you can expect an increase in customers due to the inbound and domestic economic recovery in the future due to the service life of the building and depreciation, but it can be steadily promoted. I expect. I think that the urgent issues will be the complete safety function of the elevator, the renewal of the air conditioner adjustment function, and the improvement of the Internet TV content memory capacity. Personally, I like the accommodation plan 2 meals in the past experience, and I used it this time, but I will try to maintain my health so that I can repeat it with the same plan in the future and aim for the next opportunity. Thank you very much for this time.

We arrived late at night, the counter staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One of them could speak English quite well so we were able to converse without much issues. The room was big compared to rooms in Tokyo and could accomodate 3 adults and 1 kid with no issue. We also have space to open 2 check in luggage on the floor. There was a bath tub available and a round table with 2 chairs as well a long working table with 1 chair. I would recommend this hotel and it's not a far walk to JR Sapporo Station, there are convenience stores nearby and a restaurant within the hotel where we had breakfast. The breakfast was good as well.

I wanted to spend a relaxing time, so I made a plan with all-you-can-view VOD and checked in at 15:00. As soon as you put your luggage in the room, you can take a bath in the large communal bath, and of course there is no one, so it is reserved. I started by arranging the beer I bought when I warmed up.However, the moment I saw the content of VOD, the plan I had envisioned collapsed. There is no content I was thinking of looking around. I checked it many times, but there are still limited videos. What I was trying to see was the anime ”Tasty Shinbo” and there is no distribution of the anime itself. After all, I didn't have the video I wanted to see, so I spent time watching the terrestrial broadcasting. I think that the VOD form of this hotel is only a very limited content distribution such as Western and Japanese paintings, so I think that the taste is different. As can be said to other hotels, VOD is always 々 because it is easy to plan because it can obtain information in advance if there is an explanation of which service is using in HP. Staff, public bath, room, service is great.

Every time you come to Japan's preferred hotel, the price is cheap, the environment and service are very good. Free breakfast is provided, although not too rich, but there is no problem with eating, children are not limited. This time I lived in JR South Exit of Toyoko Inn, and walked for about 10 minutes from the south gate of JR Station. The hotel is in a small alley, and there is a supermarket diagonally opposite to buy snacks and drinks. The twin room is actually composed of two small rooms. There are two sets of indoor furniture. The two rooms are completely independent. It is suitable for business travel and has privacy.

We had a terrible experience with the services that the free bottled waters were only for IHG members and we are NOT informed beforehand or while we checked in. And the hotel officers were really indifferent when we tried to communicate about this isssue. We were told “NO one could get bottled waters unless he/ she is a IHG member”. We haven’t been treated so around any hotel in Japan or in the world under any hotels groups. This could be the worst experience we had over a small issue due to the ill communications with hotel service team. Very disappointed on such discriminating hotel policies and we would not be able consider IHG group in Japan anyhow. It was a cozy hotel with good location. But facilities are aged.

The front desk is on the second floor. Check-in and check-out are operated by self-service machines, and there are manual attendants to provide guidance. You can store your luggage if you pick it up on the same day, but you cannot leave it if you pick it up the next day. It is very fashionable to enter the hot spring with a password lock instead of a card. You can see the Sapporo TV Tower from the lounge.

Close to Sapporo Station, it is a very convenient location as a tourist base. There are several kinds of mini bread and boiled * for breakfast, which is good as a light breakfast. There is an impression that it is a reasonable hotel that is devised so that the employee does not take time in each place such as breakfast venue, linen in the room, amenities, etc., but there is no problem if it sleeps. The difficulty is that the front desk is in 2F and you need to use the stairs. 1 You have to pass the front desk to use the elevator from F and it is very troublesome, so use the stairs every time...

Of this 5-day trip, it was only 1 night and 2 days, but I was able to experience it with color 々. 1. First of all, regarding the time of booking, this time, Haneda-New Chitose - Sapporo-Use public transportation. When I asked for a shuttle bus reservation from Sapporo by phone, I said that the reservation was confirmed first, so I made a hotel reservation by airmail (arrived around 14:00) on the web, and when I called (bus: 14:00, 15:00, It was recognized that it departed at 16:00), but now it is full only at 14:00. Therefore, I am tired of the bus stop near the New Chitose-Sapporo-Makomanai-Hotel 3. First of all, I wanted a guide of ”full seat” only at 2 o'clock. 2. Check-in was smooth (travel discounts were not used), but the shuttle bus to Sapporo tomorrow morning was ”full and I couldn't wait for cancellation.” 3. The room (T / W on the 10th floor) was wider than I imagined (reservation of an inexpensive main building) and was easy to use, but the equipment, closet, bath / toilet, etc. were ”quite old” for a few minutes. However, the view is good in the river side room, There was no difference in use. However, I felt that the safety box and costume tray in the closet were placed on the floor, and that they would be considered and equipped in the user's position by attaching shelf boards. 4. I used the bath on the 1st and 16th floors. It's a large hotel that is not ashamed of, and it can be used by a large number of people, but when using it, there were few users, so I was able to spend my time to my heart's content. There are individual differences, but I felt that the hot water temperature was a little low. 5. Meals (evening and breakfast) were lined up at some counters, but I thought it was unavoidable. The variety was diverse, but honestly, I couldn't feel any characteristics now. For example (dinner), a large amount of steak was prepared and it was at the counter, but the arrangement (grilled, served, decorated position, etc.), and (breakfast) seafood bowl (rice, seafood, etc.) was also served by each person. I prepared only rice (normal and small amounts of 2 seeds) in advance, and felt that the flow of people could be smoothly made, so that it would be fun and delicious. There are also many waiters and waitresses, so why not engage in service plus service such as lowering tableware and serving meals? 6. The next morning, I asked the front desk (whether or not the shuttle bus was available), but the same was true. When I had a copy of the time and boarding guide map of the route bus (a Sri Lankan nationality woman in charge), I would like to thank you for your kind and polite response. 7. The checkout was smooth and good. I asked again to use the shuttle bus to Sapporo, but it was completely full and could not be used. 8. When I came to the front door to go to the bus stop, a Sri Lankan woman who asked at the front desk in the morning flew and told the driver of the shuttle bus to Sapporo that had just stopped. Negotiate the possibility of boarding 々 did. As a result, I was able to board the shuttle bus. There were still many vacant seats on the bus 々. No matter how much service bus I felt, I didn't care about the front desk, but I was grateful and impressed by the wonderful response of this woman who flew to the front door! !! !! 9. Therefore, I arrived at Sapporo Station in about 45 minutes, and I was able to save an hour from the route bus and subway, and I was able to go to the next accommodation, Otaru.

The breakfast was very delicious and rich in variety. I also work in food and drink, so I can understand the hardships very well. Of course, the commute time will be early, and the number of items is so large early in the morning. I think it's hard to get together. The polite customer service was very pleasant and I felt refreshed from the morning. Thank you early in the morning. The rooms are spacious 々 and clean and I've been staying for a long time. I want to be convenient in front of Shin-Sapporo Station. I would like to come again.

The location of the hotel is very close to the B&B that we arrived when we arrived, just in the vicinity of the Beaver Road Commercial Street~ I didn't find the hotel at first, only found a small restaurant, and later I looked at the name of the restaurant. It turned out to be here~ It turned out that they were the first floor to make a restaurant, and then the second floor made a youth trip~ Although the bed is small, it is still possible~ After all, it is a youth trip~ Don't care~ Living in the Youth Hostel is an experience! If you want to meet the hotel specifications, you will be disappointed~ There is public space on the first floor, but we went late, walked earlier, and didn't see other people... It is worth mentioning that since I am booking a mixed shop for men and women, I am a small Korean squad in the downstairs~

It was my second stay, but the room is different, but there is a massage chair, and the room is 12 minutes wide for single stay. The cleanliness of the room is normal. Because it is a clean person, it may be a beautiful person. I borrowed steam iron, but the front desk was saved by bringing it to the room because the hand was blocked. I was happy with hospitality. Breakfast can be selected from Japanese and Western food. It is simple, but it was very grateful that it was free. There is a Family Mart near the hotel and it is very convenient. As mentioned by many, the location is ideal, smack in the city center. Near Odori park, lots of restaurants around, shops and things to see. To make justice to the hotel, despite not having its own car park, now it's possible to add into the bill the parking service in a multi storey car park just opposite the street (some reviewer mentioned in 2017 that the hotel had no car park, but facts change along the time, so the truth is that now there is a parking facility, as close as possible, just need to cross the road). Now, being a good place and having a decent room (not spacey but it seldom happens in Japan), would make it an ideal place to choose, being even fairly priced, wouldn't it? Well, there's a but (as in the title of the review): one of the worst logistically organised bathrooms that I've ever found - and I've seen many in 27 years of travelling around Asia. There a not-so-tiny step to take from the aisle and the bathroom. As you try to enter, the WC occupies almost all the space till the wall. So either you try to jump over it (starting from a lower level, remember the step?) or I set one foot in the minimal space available and then you turn like a classical dancer to try to bring the rest of your body (other leg) inside and step in front of a weeny sink. Same ordeal to get out of the bathroom. Imagine doing this when you're still moist, after a shower. Maybe I was just unlucky with the room I was assigned to. But there should not be any architech who studies - and then decides that it's good enough to use it without being a breakdancer - such an unpractical configuration of bathroom. The other - minor - thing, is this (but it does not really bothers me much): having placed the ”make my room” magnetic sign to the door in the morning, i came back at night to find an odd black bag hanged to the outer handle. those were two clean towels. Nothing had been touched inside the room, bed undone as I left it, dirty, damp towels still in the tub. Well, an odd interpretation of what make my room means... Other than those two things, a good place to be. I was there for 3 nights and I paid the same amount (for the whole stay) of one night in Tokyo (ok, it's Roppongi and I know it's as dear as hell!). But if you get there, make sure to see the bathroom configuration, before checking into a room!

However, it's worth noting that there is no self-check-in available. On the downside, the hotel is a solid 10-minute walk from the JR station. Also, if you plan to explore the city center or visit food junctions, be prepared to walk a lot because they are about 1.2km from the hotel. I got a injury by the hotel equipment (still i struggling spending the life by this). The issue itself came from equipment but care after the issue happened by hotel was quit terrible. A hotel staff ”required” me to go hospital immediately and mandatory to get medical certificate for escalate issue in the hotel internally then I did it by my expense (in Japan, the certification is expensive because outside of health insurance). After I submitted certification to the hotel, they entered internal consideration about next action and how to compensate to victim (myself) and spend 3 week to just make answer to me. In the end, the answer said no compensate even certification expense that required by themselves. Actually I don't need to require money as a compensation like a troll for them because able to pay money by myself for cure but their attitude is extremely bad as a service provider and I totally disappointed them. I can say just waste a time during visit in Sapporo thanks to them. My Strong recommendation is YOU DON'T STAY THE HOTEL if you have any plan to come Sapporo and spend good time. It's just outside the subway station. It looks grand and grand, and you can see the high construction standards. The staff is well trained, responds quickly, handles problems very professionally, and handles some details very well. The room facing the park is very quiet, and the autumn scenery outside the window is intoxicating. For breakfast, I tried the Japanese set meals on the top floor. The quality was good. My favorite was the fried cod. However, the room facilities are old and have many flaws: the quilt does not use a quilt cover, but the quilt is added with cotton wool, which I personally dislike. The cotton wool is very dirty and will itch when it comes into contact with the skin; the shower needs to be adjusted with two faucets of hot and cold water, which is very troublesome to operate. , it is easy to be scalded by hot water; the toilet seat is like a soldering iron, and the power cannot be cut off and the heat cannot be adjusted, even if it is covered with a towel; the amount of cold water in the washbasin is extremely small

If not, it does not matter, it just takes time. * The room number and password are only displayed once, it is best to make a record * Put the garbage into the foyer (referring to the house) before 9:30 every morning. Some people will take it away, but only in the foyer. They won't come in if you haven't gone out yet. * During the stay, the room is cleaned by yourself. The vacuum cleaner and mop are complete. * Induction cooker and small plates and cups * With washing machine * Toiletries are available, but if the number of days you live in is not enough, you can go to a convenience store to buy a set of dental appliances. If you do n’t bring your own towels, you can continue to use them after washing, and you will be charged for replacement. ~ very close to Sapporo Station, 5 minutes walk ~ picante soup curry recommended by the hotel is really great ~ There is ESTA to the right of Sapporo Station (South), and there are many ramen restaurants in the Ramen Republic on the 10th floor.

Had a two night stay in this hotel in December 2022. The hotel was easy to find just next to the main Sapporo station, not too far from the Diamaru department store. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. Check in was done efficiently. The room wasn’t very big, but a bit bigger than other Japanese inner city hotels I have visited. It was a cold cold day in Sapporo, and the hotel room was v warm- which was great! There was a free breakfast included, which mostly consisted of bread, eggs, yoghurt, cereals, various juices, and tea/ coffee. It was more than adequate and the environment was nice and clean. I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend it to others too.

Dingshanxi is beautiful. On New Year's Eve, 2 families stayed, two meals and two parkings were outrageous, the room windows and hot springs were facing the mountain, eating and soaking in the hot springs were enjoyable. The self-service snacks and drinks on the first floor of the hotel are super favorite. There is only one place to choose to eat near the hotel, and the taste is not bad. When I left the store, I lost the headset in the room. Thanks to the Ctrip customer service lady and the housekeeper for communicating, and helped me send the headset to the next stop of the hotel. I like 👍

This’s my first capsule hotel so everything was new to me. You literally get a bed with small locker at the top and big locker under bed. When u check in, u get a pair of slippers and a towel. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom in the common area has six sinks and it was not crowded at all. There are washers n dryers which were super convenient. There’s a hugh common area but I never saw anyone sitting there. People were quiet and respected the space. However there was one American lady who was on the phone n everyone could hear every word she said. Finally, after an hr, I asked her to be quiet n she immediately cut the talk. I enjoyed my stay. For US$49 for three nights at the heart of Sapporo, there’s no better deal.

Our Tour Leader has touted that this is the best Hotel throughout our 7-nights stay tour here in Hokkaido! We reached at 6pm and was just in time for dinner. Surprisingly modern and beautiful inside setting compared to the Hotel building front. Quite an impressive dining area that is spacious and offers a generous spread of both Japanese & International cuisine. Everything vying for limited space in out stomach! The 3-star Jozankei Hotel Sapporo provides quick access to Jozankei Hot Spring. This hotel is located in a touristic area of Sapporo. The rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and while amenities include nice touches include slippers, free toiletries and bath sheets. Only dislike; the TV screen is the smallest we have came across for a while.. It was tatami room and we made our own bed, surprisingly they have a few staff moving around to ask if we need help on setting the bed! More memorable is the Onsen, superb and body relaxing! Had a good session at night… rich minerals to nourish our skin. There was a bonus for us – there is a Jozankei night illumination running these 2 weeks and we got to view it, a 15-mins walk into the town central. Really a visual treat for us all. Fully enjoyed our stay here.

Highly recommend this hotel during winter as it’s connected to Sapporo Station for your daily commute and meals! Do travel via GF to hotel with luggages as from B1 there are flight of stairs you have to carry your luggage up and down. Room was spacious, enough for us to open up 3 big luggages with a room of 3 sleeping. Staff were friendly and responsive! The underground walkway can link through to Odori station too!

The location is close to Nakajima Koen Station, so you have to walk a little to get to Susukino, a downtown area. About 10 minutes. It is convenient because the airport bus is nearby, but there are not many buses, so if you don't check it, you may have to go to Susukino or Sapporo.. And there is a shuttle from the hotel to Sapporo. It's very nice to have a convenience store nearby. There is a park and a small stream, so it is good for a walk. The room was big and clean(even though it's a little bit old) and I think this hotel really care about cleanliness. But there were some smell of old bathroom, except this, it was perfect. And the view was excel :)
