We stayed for 2 nights from April 19 just before the Sakura Festival. 15400 yen. Take the Dote Cho circulation bus of 100 yen from Hirosaki station, get off at the blue silver Dote Cho branch, and it is very convenient in front of you. It is an old but large hotel with a single facility and a wedding hall. However, the bathtub is super narrow, and if you don't sit in the gym, you have to put it in, and if you try to catch it to your shoulder, you have to enter the sea cucumber. It is a washlet but it is a cold toilet seat. WIFI was difficult to connect and troubled by time. There is one electric stand on the desk, but it is dark because there is no light on the ceiling, and I borrowed one more.

I used a super hotel to see the Hirosaki Sakura Festival. During the Sakura Festival season, we were able to stay at a relatively reasonable price while all the hotels in the surrounding area were raising prices. It is a so-called business, but there is a large communal bath. (Although it is small). The rooms are not large, but WiFi is also complete and I wasn't so dissatisfied. There is also a free breakfast buffet. (The menu is small) Free drink service from the evening is good. No way even alcohol. Super hotel is also used, but I think it is stable with only chains.

Because it is the cherry blossom season, the price is super expensive. The hotel is just a business hotel, the facilities are average, the breakfast is good, but the location is very good. It takes only 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to Hirosaki Park, so we easily went to the park several times. There is a big department store nearby, a variety of food and beverage outlets, and several churches. On Sunday, we attended the worship of the Hirosaki Church and were quite moved. The cherry blossoms at Hirosaki Park are so beautiful. Thank God for the wonderful weather given the next day. I recommend everyone to go to Hirosaki once in a lifetime to see the cherry blossoms, too amazing feeling!

It was a trip to Tohoku, but I wanted to only sightseeing in ryuhizaki and Hirosaki City, so after visiting ryuhizaki, I looked for accommodation in Hirosaki city while taking lunch. I found this place close to downtown at an affordable price, so I made a reservation without confirming the word of mouth. The building and facilities are not new, but there is a feeling of cleanliness, the staff at the front desk was polite, and the free breakfast was delicious. The viewpoints of Hirosaki City are compact and the city has a satisfactory sightseeing using the rental cycle operated by the city.

It's a simple accommodation, so it's troublesome to write your name and address on the ledger every day even for consecutive nights. It was OK at all at a capsule hotel where you can stay cheaply if you travel alone. There was a space to sleep separately up and down, and I thought it was more noisy with the voice of the next person, but I didn't care so much. It was a private room for the time being. It's small. But the upper bed is not suitable for the elderly. It's hard to climb and I think it's dangerous to get off. No matter how many hours the parking lot was stopped, it was 1 100 yen a day. The sauna was also comfortable and it was a hot spring. I went for a drink at night, but there were many drinkers. There was a highball all-you-can-drink shop just behind the hotel, and I could drink a lot cheaply. The tonpei yaki at this store was excellent. It was the most delicious I've ever eaten. I was able to go from here to the Shirakami Mountains I was looking for in about 30 minutes, but the period I went was regulated and I couldn't go to the mother tree. It was to the visitor center in the foreground. You can go to the mother tree from the mountain trail, but it is difficult and not suitable for families with children. It is also close to the Iwakiyama trailhead. The royal road is to climb from Iwakiyama Shrine, but it is impossible for amateurs. It was a difficult steep slope because it was called Shugendo. You can drive to the 8th station, so it's better to go from there. The Shirakami Mountains were a World Heritage Site in the virgin beech forest, but visually it was not much different from ordinary mountains.

I chose this place to sleep in a Japanese room. It is about 5 minutes from Hirosaki Station, and it is a convenient location with food shops (drinkers), family (in front of the station) and Ito Yokado in the neighborhood. However, the circulation bus is recommended more than walking from tourist attractions and French areas. Be careful because there is no bus depending on time. Although it is not a distance that cannot be walked. Take off your shoes at the entrance and change them to slippers. The Japanese room is very compact and has a small bath. The public bath was able to use it for a long time if there were few guests. The room also had tea and I was able to spend it slowly. Sometimes the TV radio waves don't enter. (maybe the effect of snow) There is also a refrigerator. There are toothbrushes and razors. I'm sure there was shampoo & treatment in the bath in the room. Women might be better to take it with only treatment. It's dry. Then it was a cold day, so there was a heater other than air conditioning and it was very helpful. I want to stay in Hirosaki next time.

The public bath is on the 14th floor. There was a note to put the room key (the card key with the room number written down) in the clothes basket, because there is a risk of theft, so put it in the locker. There was a locker in front of the entrance of the bathroom, in the slipper place Mukai. I stayed two nights for breakfast, but it was good that there was a change. When you stay consecutive nights or when you go out, please return the room key to the front desk once. It was a very convenient item for sightseeing and traveling by train while leaving luggage right across from the station. For sightseeing, we recommend taking the 100-yen bus from the station. We also recommend renting a bicycle from the tourist association at the station.

I stayed without breakfast and booked in a single room. At check-in, I received a breakfast ticket for some reason, and the room was guided to the 10th floor and was surprised (* ㅂ` *) ♡ It was a comfortable single room! The scenery was beautiful and the best because it was on the Iwakiyama side! The parking lot is crowded, and the parking lot near the entrance is taken by the other person immediately after leaving, but there is also a three-dimensional parking lot, and it is safe because it can park a lot. I want to use it again next time (^-^)

During the cherry blossom festival, and it was the first day of the consecutive holiday, so I think it is the highest time, but I was surprised at the price of over 16000 yen in twin. It's strong. However, if you go to the cherry blossom festival, it was convenient anyway because it was close to resting and returning to bed. It was a facility that felt high even at 5000 yen if it was normal time. Then, I wonder if I can only leave my luggage until 12 o'clock in the day of check-out. At this accommodation price! ? seriously! ? After all, I couldn't go to take my luggage at 12 o'clock, but I didn't say anything because it was. Then what was the morning question and answer ... I should keep it well and pay after 12 o'clock (I think it's okay).

The hotel is in front of Hirosaki Station. Iwakiyama was visible from the window and the view was very good. But when I put hot water on the bus, my body hair and my lower hair floated, and I was disappointed with this. When I dropped the lee key and accidentally looked under the bed, it was full of dust. There is also dirt on the curtains, so I would like you to be careful about cleaning the room a little. The taste of the buffet was normal, but the restaurant felt a bit small. The attitude of the front desk staff was good, so I feel very disappointed.

I went to Hirosaki for Sakura. Prefering authenticity, I wanted to stay in a Ryokan rather than a standard hotel and I quickly found a real jewel in the genuine: as soon as I arrived from the station by making a small pleasant walk in the city, I've had the certainty of being arrived at the right address: warm and professional reception by the owner, the place breathes a rich story of its hundred-year walls, ancient woods and typically Japanese decor. I have especially chosen and appreciated the large room on the ground of tatamis, the small tea ceremony offered by the owner's wife. There is also a very pleasant ”onsen” very clean and especially appreciated house after a day of visit to the charming city of Hirosaki. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, and the city is located in the heart of the city. After a night of sleep in a calm, I started my day with a traditional Japanese breakfast, very fine and perfect for a departure in the day. Another strong point of my visit: the small ”secret” bar adjacent to ryokan where a ”welcome drink” was offered to me every day (to taste: the region's Apple Wine, as well as the ”Calvados” of Hirosaki). Finally, the owner spontaneously led me to the station on the day of my departure, which allowed me to make some more purchases of succulent specialities in the region! I can only recommend a stay at ”Ishiba Ryokan” and I will certainly be going back there if the wind brings me back to this very beautiful northern region of Japan.
