Many pros......Bed/pillow was comfy. Room was quite sound proof, only heard people in the hallway once, and upstairs a couple times through the night. We stayed in a double queen suite, it was spacious but an odd layout. I've never seen the bathroom in the middle of the room before, usually it's right as soon as you enter the room. Girl at check-out was polite. Pretty decent price for a suite. Good location-mall across street, plenty of restaurants w/in 5 minutes drive. Breakfast was neither pro nor con. It was alright. Eggs had a ”buttery” taste which we weren't huge fans of, sausages were a little burnt. Con.....pool/hot tub was broken which is one thing but the worst thing is that the girl at check-in didn't even mention anything. My family & I got changed, went downstairs only then to find out for ourselves that they're out of order. I spoke to the girl at the front desk, all she said was ”Sorry!” And it didn't even sound legit. She gave a good impression at check-in but lost that when I spoke to her about the pool. One more con which I find completely rude is the Canadian flag is half missing. This hotel is currently home for a few refugees. Having only half a Canadian flag doesn't make a good impression. Honestly don't know if I would stay here again, depends on circumstances.

The location is excellent and walking distance to the most famous farmers market. It is also close to Walmart. Convenient transportation. Very good value for money. The room is quite big and it is a two 1.5 large bed, which is rare in North America.

Our check-in and out was easy, very nice staff. We have stayed here previously and had always had an above average experience, this time we found the hotel dirty and rooms not cleaned to other Delta/Marriott standards. We understand that due to the pandemic staffing shortages have occurred, and this may be the case here. The room was a king sized bed, nice shower/bathroom set up. The pool was busy and the hot tub closed, also the gym appeared closed as well, likely due to COVID restrictions. The main issue was the lack of vaccuming, old nail clippings on the floor and dirt visible. The dresser was very dirty inside so we laid the drycleaning bag under our belongings. There was tape on the ceiling, not sure what that was about. We would stay here again, I am not sure I would seek it out as we did before. Very convenient location to restaurants and shopping.

The hotel is located in the uptown of the city center, the location is good, there are a lot of delicious nearby, landscape streets, night lights are particularly beautiful. The breakfast was rich and fresh, and the room was bright and spacious, well worth the experience.

There is a sofa bed room, which can accommodate three people. For a family of three in China, it is suitable for a family with a slightly larger child, but the relative room is too small. The transportation is convenient, just near the high-speed exit, the parking lot is also free, and the gas station is next door, which is very convenient for returning the oil.

I am surprised by the decent reviews this hotel gets. I have stayed at many Four Points hotels before and they are usually a very lovely stay. This hotel has been the worst stay I’ve had in a long time. I did not make use of the facilities, such as the pool, but shuttle was not available, neither was the continental breakfast. Immediately upon checking in and getting to my room, I went straight back down to the front desk to ask for disinfecting wipes for common surfaces in my room. The doors, particularly the bathroom door, was visibly dirty, the bathroom surfaces (if they had been wiped) looked like they were wiped with a dirty cloth. The walls had not been wiped down and had questionable dirty spots on them, as well as hair. There was hair in my shower. The switch for the light beside my bed hadn’t been wiped and the lights themselves were visible dusty. Cupboards were dirty. USB charging port did not work and the fridge did not keep my bottle of water cold. If it wasn’t 1am I would have asked for a different room. Front reception staff did not offer to remedy the situation and were very mildly apologetic. During Covid times, if they are clearly not wiping visibly dirty high touch surfaces, what other protocols are they not following? This was my first trip home in two years and it was for a family emergency. I had high expectations for safety standards. At check out early the next morning; after not being able to get a complimentary breakfast, as per my booking, I voiced how disappointed I was with the cleanliness of my room, and staff told me that since I had booked through a third party they could not offer a price adjustment but if I wanted to order a breakfast from their restaurant there was 10 minutes left to do so.. after I had checked out and was about to be picked up. Based on the cleanliness of my room, I would not be interested in ordering anything from their restaurant. Disappointing stay/service. I would not recommend this hotel unless you don’t care and just need a bed to sleep in.

My family had a very pleasant stay at this place last night. Upon receiving check in confirmation by text, we were surprised by a free upgrade from a standard room to a standard + den room. It’s perfect for our family of 3. We love the unit and its decor, it was spacious and clean. Best part: it’s equipped with everything from TV, fridge to small oven, dishwasher, even has washer and dryer! Much more convenient for family stay in comparison to other traditional hotel! Paid for private parking which was underground, it’s perfect since we arrived on the night of a snowstorm and had to leave early 6:30am next day for a sport meet. Had a small issue upon arrival as we couldn’t get room to open with the key app. Property management Varun got it fixed remotely within minutes. We recommend this place and our family would definitely stay here again when visiting Waterloo!

The breakfast style is not too much, you can eat enough, the parking lot is quite large, the environment is good, and the location is good. There is a big mall nearby. Indoors there are swimming pools and gyms.
