My family and stayed here because our moving truck got a blow out and because of the long wait to get e tire replaced, we had no choice but to stay here. We were traveling with my 21lb Maine Coon cat, and Motel 6 let's pets stay free. So..we checked in and at first we didn't notice anything, but as we got settled in, my husband noticed that the floors were filthy! Then, as he laid on e bed, a little critter ran across his foot! Yep, roaches! I am a cancer patient and I have DVT, and I have to give myself my blood thinner by injection..yes, not too sanitary, right? So we went to the front desk and the two girls that were working there were so helpful! They tried to find us another room, but there wasn't too much available for 3 adults. One of the girls called the owner and they offered us a full refund, but we would have to vacate. Well by this time it was late, 9pm, too late to keep driving to Redding CA, it was cold, and we had no other choice because of my cat. Well after a few conversations between the front desk girls and the owners, they offered us 2 single adjoining rooms at no additional cost, so 2 rooms for the price of one. These new rooms we're much better, very very clean and not a critter in sight! The beds were very comfy, and we all had a great night's sleep and were fresh to make the rest of our move. If you stay here, I would suggest requesting a room in the 100 room number series. Stay away from the 300's!!!!! I would have given a 1 star, but the front desk girls and the owners were great in getting us a better room, and I only gave 3 because their WiFi was having issues and it wasn't working. Many thanks to the staff and owners!

The motel in the Quality Inn series is the worst I have ever stayed in. The hallway is full of rubbish, the sheets are smelly, the air conditioning sounds very loud, and the other room where the people live is similar. Absolutely It is below the standard. Normally, Quality Inn shouldn't be like this. It is recommended that you book the motel in the future and it is really necessary to decide the goods than the third level.

The Marriott Bakersfield is a fine hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable, the elevators are fast and get to you fast. I’m here on business and the hotel suits my needs well, the TV is good. The placement of some of the furniture is a bit off, though. The sofa is against the window and you have to squeeze behind it to close the drapes. The refrigerator is against the wall and next to the sofa in such a way that the fridge door opens toward the side of the sofa. Bottom line is that you have to reach and bend over the door to get into the fridge. Also, there is no microwave. The other problem is that the wi-fi is quite slow and freezes a lot. That’s unusual in hotels these days, usually wi-fi is fast and reliable. Another positive is that the parking is free and plentiful. Overall, a pretty good Marriott property, new and modern.

I stayed here two nights for buisness. Two of the staff members there were excepitional. The first was the manager. Her name is Zina. She very polite and courteous. Although there is not much parking for large trailers, she showed me where I could park my RV. She also instructed the staff to keep an eye on it for me. The second person names is Gelsey. She is an absolute doll. She is so nice and genuine when it comes to her duty at the front desk. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that what's a clean and friendly place to rest.

I checked in after 4pm and was told my room wasn't ready. However, a few minutes later she told me my room was ready. The hotel was sold out (I got the last room). The location was near where I needed to me. My bed was comfortable. My friend said the other bed wasn't comfortable. The television was good. There was morning coffee in the lobby. I should have brought my own creamer (it was powdered). There was no noise insulation in the room. You could hear every conversation outside, every car and motorcycle, and even the birds chirp. I think, if they got, better windows, it would make the rooms quieter. The bathroom shower had stains. The shower curtain was falling out. Luckily, it was only a one night stay. I got a good price.

I had a work function here in January. The staff were truly welcoming and accommodating with all the arrangements, and made the day of our event a no-brained for me. I would like to return here for future work meetings. If the weather had been warmer, we would have taken our meeting outside. They have lovely patio seating including fire pits. We also stayed in this new location. Not only were the rooms contemporary and comfortable, they had the feel of a more expensive hotel. Two very large TV’s were mounted and on, as I entered the room. Almost all of our party enjoyed the breakfast - which accommodates our non-dairy and gluten free people - and the gym. I’ll be staying here again the next time we have an event, and I suggest you do the same.

My room was right above the office which is where i recommend because it is quieter and there are no neighbors on either side of you. Room was very clean and very comfortable, not sure what they clean with but the smell was so fresh. Wifi connected fast and check in was a breeze. I love the staff at this place from the manager who is awesome, to the desk clerk who checked me in Claudia, very personable girl great sense of humor, and all of the housekeeping staff. Everyone here makes you feel at home and welcome. I have seen some bad reviews for these people and i can not believe any of the things i read about them, I LOVE THEM! I will ALWAYS recommend this place to family and friends. Kudos ladies not enough people recognize the services you give.

Going to the Kings Canyon Road to set up the hotel, transit on the road. The hotel location is OK, and the Holiday Inn feels slightly better than the Best Western. The sex ratio is relatively high. I went to sleep for one night and left, but I didn’t have much to go around, but it was still very lively and there were many fast food restaurants.

Marriott brand guarantee. Service, rooms, facilities, all good. At the same price, choosing a brand hotel is still very reliable. The location is also good, especially just a tipping middle city. Of course, the surprise should not exist, it is the brand hotel you imagine.

We arrived December 23rd in order to spend last moments with a dying family member. First recommendation, do not call the hotel directly for the best rate, even though they will tell you it is the best rate. The best rate is actually available online or through the third party like Priceline. Once we arrived we were able to check in. Our room was on the third floor. The room was clean. We left and went to the Bakersfield Heart Hospital, which is 5 minutes from the hotel, to visit our family member and then to Zingos Cafe next door for a late dinner. We arrived back to the hotel and nothing seemed amiss so we went to bed. Around 4:30 am my daughter and I awoke to an incessant beeping. I finally figured out it was coming from the air conditioner/heater. I called downstairs and around 5:30 am they were able to send someone up. They reset the system or something and said it happened occasionally. Everything was fine that day, the breakfast the offer is good and they put plenty out. The next night about 1:30 the beeping started again. Nothing had run weird or seemed off but here we were and the only way to make it stop was to call downstairs. It was Christmas. I called downstairs and was told that there was no one there except for the person at the desk so she couldn’t come and fix it. The only thing she could do is move my room. So at 1:45 in the morning my family started the process of moving all of our things. It was a long night of little to no sleep and no apologies or anything. In fact, when we went downstairs that morning and I turned in the other keys and was accused of roughing the thermostat and making the unit surge or overheat or whatever it did. I was not happy. There was never an apology or anything from having to move rooms in the middle of the night. The next morning we were supposed to check out but a huge blizzard had blocked the two main freeways out of town with no word on when it would reopen. We went to the front desk and requested another night, which we were granted at 2 1/2 times the rate we were currently paying. So as not to end up having to sleep in the car with our family that night we agreed. In the middle of all this, our family member passed away. The hotel itself was fine. The customer service left a lot to be desired. No one went out of their way to do anything nice. Or to even smile. Any requests were met with apathy or like we were an inconvenience. Made being away from home for the holidays tougher than it had to be.

We spent one night here in a studio suite unit with a king bed. It is an older style two story Residence Inn with separate buildings. There are no elevators on the property. Our ground floor suite was spacious, very clean and quiet. The king bed was comfortable and we had a restful night’s sleep. The sofa was comfortable. We appreciated having many outlets available to recharge our cell phones, iPad and camera batteries. The unit has a very large desk/ work space. The suite has a very nice kitchen area. The HVAC worked well and kept the unit very comfortable. The Wi-Fi Internet worked well throughout the unit, and the Internet speed was adequate for our needs. The front desk and breakfast area staff were very friendly and professional. The included breakfast was standard for Residence Inn. We will stay here again when visiting Bakersfield.

Room 520 Marcellus and Dwayne At the front desk were super nice and helpful. 2 double beds 3 nightstands with usb and outlets more outlets than I have ever seen in a hotel room. Really nice! Lots of counter space: spans the entire length of the room. Nice roll out desk and chair. 6 very deep dresser drawers and four additional lower cupboard style cabinets and 3 open upper cabinets. Plus a closet with a curtain. There’s a 3/4 width curtain separating beds from the sitting area. Sitting area has sofa bed, ottoman, nesting side tables. Large flat screen TV with swivel base. Full length mirror. Kitchenette Slightly smaller than a full size refrigerator. Dishwasher, microwave, sink, toaster. All the dishes, cups, silverware were in the dishwasher cleaned from previous occupant. Breakfast: Sausage, premade omelettes, muffins, biscuits and gravy, granola bars, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, apple/orange juice, coffee. Parking lot had lots of spaces and they have overnight security for the parking lot too. Overall had a great stay, would definitely stay there again.

We always enjoy your stay at the Four Points Sheraton Bakersfield. The rooms are lovely and spacious, and the staff is always pleasant to work with. With co-vid happening they are cleaning the rooms less which is a downside, but we completely understand. There is always a nice, quiet filled to the resort ... Definitely nice to be able to take a breath and relax. Thank you Sheraton for a delightful stay, we will be back!

Traffic is really convenient for self-driving. Safety is also good, the environment is clean. The open-plan twin bed is practical and affordable for parent-child family homes. There are coffee and small tarts and biscuits on the palate. For mainlanders who are not used to Western food, it is best to bring an electric kettle to instant noodles and eat comfortably. With kitchen facilities, it is very affordable to bring your own kitchen utensils, it is recommended

Was easy to find off the highway. The lady at the front desk was very unfriendly. Dirty looking place. The room was reasonable. I had to call down twice to figure out their WI-FI. We never did figure out the air conditioner. There is no breakfast offered but a nice place close by. Tried to talk to the man at the front desk the next morning so we could get ice. He hardly spoke English. When he finally unlocked the door to get ice, it was empty or broken. You got what you paid for
