Booked a room away from the lift. Gave us a room next to the lift. Went down to see ifcwe could get it changed as we wanted a quiet room On check in we requested this so obviously next to the lift facing the stack is not a quiet room. Next room was directly above the hotels air conditioning unit gave up as obviously the receptionist was having a serious customer service melt down especially when we went out 10 minutes later and she called over ..is that room OK for you? Obviously not as the air conditioning unit screamed all night long we just said yes as what was the best room going to be ?? Certainly will not be back thanks to the totally piss taking receptionist

1 day before the day of travel The accommodation informed that the reserved room had a problem with a water pipe leaking. Therefore changed a new place not far from the same place Fortunately, the new accommodation is close to Northumbria University, which has to go to the graduation ceremony there already, okay. Overall, the new place looks beautiful, clean, on the 1st floor. The new ones are all available, but the only thing is the second room heater, it works with sound all the time.

Nice large river view room. Bathroom dated we had a problem with bath plug got stuck so had to call reception who promptly came and hit plug with large screwdriver to release it. Before the receptionist left room i tried it to ensure we could have bath and water would drain away. Plug stuck again looking at it it had several gouges in metal where it has obviously hit on numerous occasions to free it. This meant we could not have a bath and only shower because closing the plug hole it became firmly stuck. Not good enough repairs should be carried out. Shower gel top fell off and went down plug hole so we could only wash in shampoo.

Very close to the highway, just turn down. Stop by and the hotel is very comfortable overall. Many locals go to the lobby bar to drink and chat at night. Very clean, the room is large and very comfortable. The dinner is delicious, and the English breakfast is average. I came from China, so I can only say it's average. If you are tired from the journey, it is very pleasant to take a rest here.

Stayed for a weekend while visiting the area. Really great hotel. Rooms are modern and comfy. Breakfast was very tasty and great selection. Staff friendly. 10 minutes walk to the metro station to get into Newcastle or to the airport. Toby carvery next door for a nice meal. Shops and supermarkets as well as the usual fast foods a couple of minutes walk. Highly recommended.

Pleasantly surprised when I booked in. Very modern, very clean. Location was just a 5 min walk from the main station but off the main road so nice and quiet. Room was lovely and had a good nights sleep. Kitchenette was perfect, although I only made a couple of cups of teas! Reception staff all very professional and welcoming.

Frankly, the size of the room is beyond my imagination, very spacious apartment. The kitchen has everything that should be set. You can make breakfast and dinner yourself. We have one night to make our own seafood dinner. You can wash clothes. It feels like home. The facilities are old. Travel is also very convenient, very close to the train station and supermarket, will consider here next time.

The cleanliness of the hotel deteriorated, and the furniture and fixtures were also torn and worn out. The water closet had dirts inside on thd day when we arrived. The dirts still attached to the water closet when we left. The mattress was not In good condition, it was not flat but like a shallow basin in the middle. The bed also had problem. When you sleep on it and want to change your position and turn to the other side, the wooden part of the bed shook and create a big ”eat. eat, eat” sound. The room door of all the rooms on the fifth floor were with problem, in order to close it properly. You have to close the door with severe force and result in a big ”bang, bang” sound. This is extremely disturbing to other guests especially when this happened when they were sleeping. The hotel is old and fully utilized during the past years, it needs instant maintenance and upgrading.

These are not informed in advance, and the price has increased by 1000 than on weekdays, and it has risen to more than 1300. This is what I can't understand. Then there is no front desk service. very good! When I first entered, I walked to the restaurant because it was raining. She was very considerate and sent my luggage and me to the front desk. The lady at the front desk was also very approachable. Many people didn't understand me when I first arrived and the card couldn't be used. She was very considerate and gave guidance. The hygiene is good, the bedding is clean, it's a few minutes away from the airport, and the subway station is nearby, which is very convenient!

The staff was super kind and helpful! They helped us check-in early and ALSO check-out later with no issue whatsoever! We also had an issue with the electricity in our room and, after explaining them the situation, they very promptly gave us another room so we could get ready for our event! Not only, in the end there was no need for another room because they rapidly fixed the issue! Would 100% recommend! The location was also great for both short Uber trips and short walking based on what you prefer/need!

Great location, nice little room, it's listed as an apartment but I wouldn't say it's big enough to be considered one. My only problem with the room was the cleanliness, the walls and floors had a lot of marks and dirt, same with the curtains. It made the trip slightly less comfortable. It could have also done with Aircon as it was very warm. To sum up - Pros - Great location, comfortable bed, mini kitchen with kettle, fridge and tea & coffee provided. Even some biscuits too. The price was great for a Saturday night during a big Newcastle event we spent £55 which was way cheaper than most other hotels in the area. Cons - wasn't very clean and the check in was a little awkward as our keys wouldn't work. If this was improved my rating would be a lot higher.
