The hotel is very clean, the bath is very big, the toiletries need to be prepared by yourself, the room has a small refrigerator, the breakfast can be full, the front desk staff is very good, and everything needs to be actively helped. The window is a little bit soundproof and there is no electric kettle.

The exterior of the hotel is famous. It is like a hotel. We lived in a new building this summer. It was very clean. It was about ten minutes in the downtown area, in a place halfway up the mountain. The breakfast at this store is also very appetizing. The boss is very enthusiastic. The only thing is that we asked the boss to help us call a taxi to the airport before we left. He kindly promised us, and then we asked him how much she said 20 euros. Then we checked the distance of 8 kilometers and I was a bit skeptical. This distance did not match the price. Then I sent a message to him to help us call a car we checked for a regular taxi. She did not reply to us. After eating breakfast in the morning, another staff member said that the car came. We saw a Cayenne, not a taxi. Then we knew that the original 20 Euro was like this. This is the only place we feel wrong. But we went up because we were going to the airport. That's it. If you ask them to call the car, you must ask very clearly. I hope everyone can get help.

In my mind, this is the perfect kind of guesthouse. Locally owned and operated. Affordable, even for a solo traveller in o sux week tour of The Balkans. Small so you feel like you are a guest, not a number. Valida and Mumois treat you like family. Rooms are spacious, immaculate, nicely decorated and with EVERYTHING you require for a pleasant and comfortable stay, including many things that other hosts sometimes forget like good reading lights, and extra hooks to hang things. Wifi worked perfectly for everything, including streaming a movie. You may choose breakfast and if you do you won’t require lunch with plenty of delicious, healthy options. The location is ideal, close to everything you will need as a tourist. Now I’m spoiled as really, this accommodation is perfect.

If u want to stay near the old city this is the place!! Located a min walk from everything you want at the old city with its shops, restaurants and landmarks. The rooms are nice and clean, with a very nice breakfast, and my best Bosnian coffee I had during my trip, my family and I have been taking around by a great tour (meet Bosnia) and took us to number of great locations to try the best Bosnian coffee but really for me the best one was made by the amazing host Lady Maliha. This place I do highly recommend for all my friends as for sure they will enjoy the stay. Thanks and looking forward to coming back again

Hotel Divan has a very good location in the old town. The biggest disadvantage is linked to that - a very noisy tram line passes it all day. We chose a room in the basement and the backyard side, where it was ok. The room was comfortable and furnished in a nice style. Air conditioning worked well. There were a fridge and a safe in the room. As the hotel is rather small, there was no breakfast buffet but some options served to the table. Anyway, it was good. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us good advice about the city. One disadvantage was that they didn't accept cards.

Hotel Berr is just an exceptional hotel in the heart of Old Town Sarajevo! I really enjoyed my stay here. Location couldn't be better - the hotel is a stone's throw from Pigeon Square (maybe 100 metres at most) and about a 10 minute walk to all of the main attractions in Sarajevo - City Hall, the various mosques scattered throughout the city and the main artery of Old Town (the pedestrian area). There are restaurants, shops, money exchange bureaus (watch out for those with high commission!), cafes and souvenir shops as far as the eye can see. There is no lack to choose from. There is also a medium sized supermarket on the corner across from Pigeon Square, open early and stays open quite late. The yellow fortress is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel and the white fortress is approximately 20-30 minutes uphill on foot. Note that the white fortress is closed indefinitely for restoration but the views of the city from the top of the hill is well worth the walk! The hotel owns 3 buildings - the result of expansion and buy up of other hotels over the years. So your room will be in one of the building adjacent to the main reception areas or it will be in the primary building. This was not at all an issue, but just so guests are aware of it! Note also that there is no lift/elevator in any of the buildings and the stairwells are rather narrow. I travel with only a small backpack, so for me, it wasn't even a concern, but for guests with large/heavy luggage or with mobility issues, be aware that you will need to climb the narrow stairs. Some of the rooms are in an almost ”attic” which might be a problem for some guests. The room was spacious and very clean! Although I was in a single room, there were two twin beds in my room. I believe all rooms have the same setup, regardless of how many guests you are staying in the room. The room was equipped with a desk, a small coffee table, two chairs, a large cabinet to store your luggage and a little electric kettle for boiling water (though no tea or coffee were provided in the room, I would nab instant coffee packets from the breakfast buffet to use the next morning). There were two mugs, a glass water bottle and two glasses. There was no air conditioning in the room, but there was a small fan which was sufficient for my needs. There was a flatscreen tv also in the room with approximately 30 channels available. Mostly local channels, however I was able to find about 5 in English. Some rooms have a mini refrigerator, but mine did not. It would have been a nice perk, but I managed without. The bathroom was very large and ample towels were provided (2 hand towels, 2 massive fluffy bath towels and a bath/floor mat). The bathroom had a large dispenser of hand soap as well as a dispenser of ”shampoo” (it was exactly the same as the hand soap), but I used it on my hair and I didn't have any issues with residue. My only (minor) complaint would be the lack of an enclosed shower (only a very thin shower curtain) wh

Presidential is an understatement for this superior, modern hotel in the heart of Sarajevo’s attractions, restaurants and pedestrian streets. Our Overseas Adventure Travel tour group was assigned to this hotel. The tour company could not have made a better selection. The room I occupied overlooked the river and the base of a mountain range. The room is beyond spectacular, especially considering less expensive rooms are generally assigned to tour groups. The bathroom features an entire glass wall with curtains to close for privacy. But why? Many of the rooms overlook a busy street and the river. Besides, who’d want to look at a 71-year-old geezer shaving?☺ Windows are insulated blocking cold and street noise. The room is spacious, clean, modern, and has all creature comforts. But beware of the minibar prices. There are small grocers nearby that sell wine for about 6 euros. Buffet breakfast was included for tour group members, so I don’t know if there’s a separate charge for other guests. The hotel staff are amazing and courteous. If only Orlando area hotels could learn from Hotel President Sarajevo.

Location: It is in the pedestrian street of the old city, the location is particularly good, you can walk to any place in the ancient city you think of in 3 minutes, 200 meters from the corner of Latin Bridge, 250 meters from the fountain, and the mosque is visible to the naked eye. Next to the downstairs is a bistro and a Chinese restaurant, and there are many Internet celebrity restaurants nearby. Hotel service: Objectively speaking, the hotel is very cost-effective, and it feels better than the express hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. The heating and hot water are especially sufficient in winter. The hotel has breakfast every day, which is very punctual. It should be emphasized that all the service staff in the hotel are super nice! ! ! The location of the hotel is the biggest selling point, just in the small street directly opposite the Latin Bridge, it is convenient to walk to the attractions of the old city. The hotel does not allow traffic in front of the hotel, so the address given by the hotel on Ctrip is the nearest address where the taxi can stop. In fact, the taxi is taken to the old town inside the block, and there is a yellow sign at the street. In exchange for money, the hotel is next to a pub and north, and the old town hotel is seen from the height of the four-story façade. The big bed room is two single beds together, the quilt is two sheets of people, talking with the front desk lady sister tip, said to clean the room to 1-2 mark, breakfast is simple, you can eat, quiet at night.

We had other accommodation booked that was cancelled on the day so this was a very last minute booking. We arrived late at night and we're given a room on the top floor. The room was spacious and the bathroom neat enough with the usual issue of ho where to put things in the shower, however there seemed to be a lot of dust/wood bits dropping on the bed from the roof beams and the floor very squeaky. The carpet looks like the original even though other elements of the room have been updated. The main issue was that there were no curtains/blinds????? There was a sky light and a side window which only had a mesh cover, how could they think this was ever ok for a hotel room. After our late arrival we were woken at 5am due to light. We asked to change rooms the next morning and were initially put in a smaller room with double bed against the wall, but it had no aircon. And was very warm and stuffy. We asked for a fan at least as this room had curtains, instead they moved us to a third room which had aircon but again, only one window had a curtain that was more than gauze. We gave up at this point and used the bed cover to cover the window. Also this hotel doesn't do breakfast but apparently have a deal with a nearby hotel for €12 (expensive in these parts). The staff were lovely but this place needs to get the basics right.

Our trip to Sarajevo was made even better by our stay at Pansion River. We had a nice clean room with a great view of the river, and even though the main road was very close we weren't bothered by any noise. Pansion River is only a short walk away from the old town, and there are shops and good restaurants very close by. Walking along the river will get you to a lot of interesting sights. The best part however was the fantastic service; We were picked up at the airport by the owner of the Hotel, and we a had a very interesting discussion about the recent history of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the way. The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful, and they even bought some low carb snacks and sweetener for our daughter who has diabetes. The reception staff spoke English very well, and gave us lots of advice about what to see and where to eat. Breakfast was good, and it was nice to eat out on the terrace overlooking the river. On our last day we received a nice gift from the hotel, and the owner very kindly drove us to the airport. If we ever decide to return to the wonderful country of Bosnia and Herzegovina again we would absolutely consider staying here again, and definitely recommend anyone travelling to Sarajevo to check it out.

I stayed at Astra Hotel, Old town in Sarajevo during my trip to many countries in the Balkan. This is a very memory stay during my trip. The three girls at the reception are wonderful, they are extremely friendly and very helpful. This made my stay very worthwhile, warm and comfortable. I definitely will come back and would recommend to any visitors to this city.
