      First of all i want to THANKS all the guys at the hotel for a very pleasent staying for 8 nights.SPECIAL to Daniele,Danilo and Stefania (the girl who work for breakfast-bar-restaurant-reception and , and ....etc).We stay at 5th floor with sea view room.Its Ok ,need some more cleaning or a refreshment but is under the expectetions for a Novotel.Nice food at the restaurant also the breakfast is COVID breakfast with guys to served in plates what would we like.Parking indoor and outdoor for free is fantasti option.The problem is the clients with dogs who peeing wherever they want , at 8 night three times check pee , outside elevator, inside elevator and on the lobby and beleave me (I LOVE DOGS !) .One more wrong with the chain politic,free kids is terrible during the vacation season,is not park guys soem people like to relax to sleep and payd for this,PROTECT US !Thank you.

      I stayed for 3 nights in a room with a balcony, then stayed an extra night in a room at the back of hotel. Balcony was lovely, although room quite small. Other room was more spacious, but some noise from bathroom next door. Air conditioning good. Bed comfortable. Shower was ok. Staff were all very helpful, especially young waiter at breakfast. Breakfast was good, i just had some fruit and yogurt , coffee. Hotel is v well located, on pedestrian shopping street, 10 mns walk to training station, 20 minutes walk to boats to Amalfi. Salerno has excellent transportation links.

      Grand Hotel Salerno

      The hotel does have a grand-presence on Lungomare. Being an older and spacious property does have it's advantages - like having a wide balcony with chairs to gaze out at the exotic Amalfi coast (photo attached). Though Easter time, we were lucky to have a room with a balcony. Conveniently located in a 10-minute walk the the Salerno station, bus-stop or concordia Pier to reach Amalfi. Room was spacious with large cupboards and a small place to cook-meals. A kettle would have been comfortable in the room. Being Asian, I love my warm water and a morning coffee. Breakfast was tasty with some of the local sweet delicacies like Sfogliatella and Conchiglia. I noticed it was spread in way which reduced food-wastage on the table. However, I missed warm sausages or omlette. Would have also liked vegetable salads and cut fruits. A variety of whole fresh fruits were accessible, but sometimes we get lazy to peel and eat an entire fruit :) Staff were friendly and helpful.
