|1.69km from city centerI realize that businesses are slowly reopening, but cleaning hotel rooms, and keeping up with maintenance should not be neglected. The bathroom was FULL of hair, everywhere. We wanted tub, because my wife prefers baths. We were never told that the only rooms with a tub are handicap-accessible rooms. The handicap bench makes using the tub pretty much impossible, as the bottom hinges of the bench protrude into the tub area. The tub, itself, is VERY slippery when wet. Probably not the best for a handicapped room. The drain plug did not keep water from draining (perhaps from more hair?) While showering, and with the drain open, the water still collected in the tub. The rest of the room was acceptable, but the appearance made it seem as though it was on the tail end of some repairs. Those should be 100% completed before using the room. The handle, and front of the bedside table was disgustingly sticky. There are absolutely no USB ports in the room. The TV, ”guide”, never, ever worked. There are several security issues around the hotel, mainly broken doors.

The 2 oldest kids did not want to share a bed so we asked the front desk for some extra sheets and they quickly found us a roll away bed, extra sheets and towels. The room was quiet and the kids loved the pool. Our disappointment was the breakfast. The eggs were crumbly, there was not a waffle maker and the pancake maker was not functional. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants and fast food near by. The hotel was easy to find and right off the freeway.

We came to meet them in the bar Saturday night. So, a large group. Val and Mel were the servers. They did a great job. Friendly, efficient, fun to have them be our servers.

Should be better around there when Omaha finishes its construction - we didn't have any noise from it on the 4th floor. This is apparently a converted office building, with very high ceilings, very tall narrow window. Architecturally interesting, but the window let little light in during the day, and way too much light in at night, since the curtains did not close all the way. Minimal covering on the beds. Room was otherwise good, clean, enough lamps. There is a coffee maker & fridge, which you will need if you don't want to spend $$$ on a breakfast (not included) in their ”bistro.” Staff was pleasant & helpful.

|16.2km from city centerWe booked 3 rooms at the friends and family rate, upon check-in their system only showed 2 rooms booked, even though I had my reservation pulled up on my phone clearly showing 3. The woman working the front desk had no idea how to fix it and was apparently the only one working that night. It was new year's eve, however, reading previous reviews it doesn't seem like management ever staffs the hotel properly so I don't think the holiday was a factor. After quite some time of trying to figure it out and me even calling the hotel help line (which was on a 15 minute wait) the front desk employee said she could just book me another room at the discounted rate. She was doing all she could to help but clearly shouldn't have been the only one working that night when she wasn't sure how to fix that sort of problem. Pool and rooms were fine but with only the 1 employee on staff, she was constantly running trying to refill towels in the pool area and the phone at the desk constantly rang with no one behind the desk to answer. We were having drinks in the lobby and watched someone stand at the desk for probably 20 minutes before they were greeted. No fault of the 1 employee working, they were just understaffed! Breakfast the next morning was inedible. Potatoes still cold/frozen in the middle, pancake mix started coming out normal then after a second it was completely watery. Hilton has some work to do on this location.

|5.81km from city centerMy husband and I stayed here just recently and we reported our room unclean and nothing was done about it, in fact, the housekeeper that came by to witness the room while we were still in the room lied about it by saying it wasn't dirty to a manager because she was obviously sticking up for her staff. We could not take a shower as the bathtub was dirty with long dark hair in the bottom of it. The furniture was dusty and carpet wasn't vacuumed. Also, the inside of the window sills were filthy and lastly we found some black stuff under our sheets in both beds. This is unacceptable and needs to be resolved. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and haven't had this issue before and we would never lie about it. Before we left we were told a manager would look at the room before they cleaned it and we found out the one in housekeeping looked at it again and lied to the manager again and the so called manager didn't bother inspecting the room. Terrible customer service here!

|3.61km from city centerFour Points Omaha Surprise find on the Marriott Bonvoy app on a very high-occupancy weekend (thanks volleyball & wrestling). Very friendly & engaging check-in staff. Assigned room preference without asking. Housekeeping quick with a friendly greeting in passing. Only nits were 1) the MidTown lobby bar, prices specifically. $17/glass for low-shelf wine was absolutely usurious. No posted prices, no menu. Bad on us, I guess for not asking. Caveat emptor. 2 ) room was good, large with large windows, great bathroom clean. But Febreez’ed a bit much to my liking. Other positives to call out: great bed & pillows, quiet room (except for occasional dog bark, ok because is pet-friendly), 5G ULTRAWIDE (Verizon) pole across the street (2.2Gbps+ !!!). Great views, convenient location. Reasonable value for the busy weekend. Given choice of included breakfast buffet or points, which is nice. Would stay again, but will now (and forevermore) be on-guard about unpublished bar prices. (repost, spelling corrections)

The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, though, and was on and off for the better part of an hour. It didn't seem like an emergency and the front desk confirmed it, though it was still frustrating and ruined our night's sleep. This hotel seems to have a lot of maintenance issues now that I'm looking at the other reviews. The hotel lobby is nice enough and all staff were nice. The breakfast staff were especially helpful and polite. Didn't use the gym, but it saw it and it seemed pretty basic and small for a hotel of that size. The parking garage directly adjacent to the entrance has a low clearance (6'5” maybe). There are options around the block, though we ended up using a street meter that was free at the time. For Diamon members, we received our breakfast, but no upgrade (the hotel wasn't that crowded, but I never get upgrades at DoubleTrees. Like never.). This is the 3rd or 4th Doubletree in a row where the experience has been less than ideal. It feels like the whole brand needs a refresh.

When I contacted the sales department and told them what I was looking for, Kim and Keira rolled up their sleeves and worked with me to get a great rate for everyone's hotel stay. When I finally met these 2 wonderful ladies, they were awesome, it was like talking to old friends. The entire sales department and front desk were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure everything that we needed for our famiky reunion was done. Nia, Carl and Justin were so super in setting up the conference room for us. The rooms were very clean and the beds were super comfortable. From the time we checked in until the time we checked out, the staff made sure that our stay was awesome! Thank you so much to the entire staff for making our family reunion a hugh success!!

The room received had a separate sitting area king bed and hot tube. There was only one TV and you had to drag the sofa around to look at it from an angle. No big deal for one night, but multiple nights I did not need to lay in bed. As you will see from pictures room needs some upgrades and was a mismatch of furniture, with so awful fireplace half in the corner. The hot tube had also seen much better days. Hotel does supply a cooked breakfast but with only a few people staying even with 45 mins left in the service there were no plates, no eggs and sausage and no one around. Day 2 was better. Pool was closed the whole week, with an out of order sign but no one working on it, (Not mentioned on booking or checking) Over all very disappointing for a Comfort Inn

Carpet was stained and smelly, couch was stained and pullout was full of crumbs and food. upsatir bath drawers were dirty with beard shavings, sink was clogged.. Drapes had dirt and cob webs all across the top. many broken items, the coffee pot, shelf fridge, light above sink, foot stool. We checked out and went to another hotel early next day.. would have checked out night before but it was too late to go anywhere else..

|5.23km from city centerThis was a very nice stay. The Resudence Inn was in close proximity to the school as well as centrally located. There were options for parking. $15 for hotel parking, up to $10 to park at the next door parking structure, and free street parking from 9pm-9am. We ended up parking on the street all four nights because we were always out until then, and we always were able to find a space nearby. We had a room with a king size bed and sofa, and we utilized both. It was really nice having a full-size refrigerator to store our water and fresh fruit, including a watermelon. The place felt clean. There was a substantial breakfast provided every morning, but it was pretty much the same every day—cereal, waffles, bagels, eggs, meat, breakfast burrito. Can’t really be picky when it’s free! There is a nice breakfast area. We would surely stay here again when we are in Omaha!

I hope that Ctrip will not happen again in the future. And I don't know when the hotel will return the credit card from the credit card deduction!

This most recent stay, I got to the hotel after driving for several hours from Missouri. I was told that they had a glitch in their system and so they gave my room to someone else. I was basically hung out to dry. They didn't offer to help book me a room somewhere else and did not offer any other help. They didn't care whether I had anywhere to stay that night even though I had booked the room more than a month in advance. Absolutely avoid this place.
