A lot of things have changed compared to our last stays: 1) We arrived at 5 in the morning and asked for an early check-in. Normally we paid the rate of 1/2 day for this, now we had to pay a full day. 2) The room card is needed to access the respective floor with the elevator. This never really worked and I had to get five new cards during my stay. 3) No complimentary water, tea, or coffee in the room anymore. 4) Room incl. bathroom outdated and outworn. When I used the hair-dryer, the lights in the bathroom were flickering. 5) We had phoned the hotel before our booking and asked if there were any renovations and constructions planned as we experienced this last time. The answer was no but when we arrived, the gym and other sections of the hotel were not accessible and noisy work was taking place.

|3.07km from city centerAs I have posted here, Renaissance Hotel has been the best choice for staying in São Paulo. The main reason is the service offered for their extraordinary staff. This time, carnival 2023, even after the pandemic of covid, it was not diferent. Since check-in our experience has been the best. The breakfast remains with the same quality and variety. I cant leave to mention the concierge servisse: Jade gave us all attention and assistance posible, always smiling...She gets to antecipate our requirements. We were surprised with a great caress: a cold cuts and cheese plater followed a malbec wine, serviced at the bedroom, for celebrating our wedding anniversary. The Gym is one the most completed We have been, where Marcelo goes to great lengths to be pleasant. There were just some little disturbs provocated by other guests located at the same level, but the staff managed in good manners. In our last night, there was a great performance by a pianist called Francis, at the lobby, closing with gold key our wondeful moments/time.

With regard to breakfast there are varieties of food but note that they didn't repound but that things remained from previous days. The hotel is also in favour of its own parking, which in Sao Paulo is a real find if you rent a car is a quiet to have parking in the same hotel. The area where you are located is the area of discotheques bars while the two squares around the hotel are discotheques are not very good you can walk to about three squares and you are already beginning to see another type of best-level bars and restaurants . The hotel is located close to the station of under two squares and the supermarket and pharmacy. The hotel is super clean and well located and the attention is excellent but don't expect modernity or luxury . On the other hand, and here if the 10 comes to this hotel and with great applause is that when arrived in my country my husband realized that I had forgotten money in the room. I send a mail to the hotel every two days and they automatically answered that the money had it and returned it to us.

Enquanto estive lá, teve uma festa com som alto e bastante gente, ou seja, muito barulho, exatamente embaixo da janela do quarto em que eu estava. O responsável pela recepção disse que foi devidamente avisado, mas eu não fiquei sabendo, e penso que a proposta de uma pousada, no caso um hostel, não combina com um espaço para festas desse tipo. O café da manhã foi servido por uma pessoa mal humorada, e foi insuficiente. Poderia ser até que eu pudesse pedir mais, repetir algum item, mas a moça sequer permaneceu no espaço durante o período que tomei café e não foi muito amigável comigo. Quartos, sim, no plural, pois fui trocado de quarto por conta do barulho da festa, precisam sem melhor limpados, pois nota-se claramente acúmulo de poeira nos tijolos aparentes, nos dutos de energia, no madeiramento do telhado e na saída do ar condicionado. Não ficaria novamente e não indicaria para alguém ficar. O ponto alto é o design, conforme a proposta do hostel, mas isso não compensa os pontos que levantei acima. Não voltaria a ficar lá

There’s a drugstore about 5 minutes from the hotel and Le Pain Quotidien is 7-minute walk (if you’re looking for a place to have brunch).

|5.25km from city centerI stayed in the hotel for two days. The reception staff, especially Tom, are sought and educated. The servant who arranged the room (63) is very educated and sympathetic. I took coffee in the restaurant and found well served, consistent with the charged price (R$35). The location is good. However, the room needed adjustments and maintenance. The sofa was very swing, needing special cleaning. There was a fire signal (all black) take, which made me fearful to fold the loaders of the electronics. The bathroom door was only closed by use of much force, and urgently needed adjustment in size. The shower was a little strange, it seemed a little stuffed. About the Wi-Fi: the hotel makes it clear that the Wi-Fi is a courtesy. However, it doesn't work!!! If you're going to work there, don't count on the hotel's internet. I did not see any series, but I suggest that it is better to charge for a service that will work than to provide as a courtesy and we cannot use it.
