Not impressed. The small crowded room appeared clean but I had specifically requested a first floor room, ended up on the second floor and no concierge service to bring in luggage. Staff was polite but entire hotel seemed dated. Room was quiet but I had requested a nonsmoking room and it said nonsmoking in the room but I still felt like it had a faint odor as if it at one time had been a smoking room or furniture had at one time been in a smoking room. The window could not be opened and the ventilation was musty. Breakfast was minimal, apples bananas, yogurt and microwave breakfast sandwiches. We ended up opting to go to Governors for breakfast instead so we could get a decent breakfast. I had paid more for this hotel than other options in the area and have previously had good experiences at other Ramadas, but was very disappointed. Considering the cost, I expected it to at least have a full hot breakfast and a porter. Nobody have us any information about the pool or the gym when we checked in so I don't even know if those were accessible. It wasn't a terrible hotel but I paid for a higher end hotel and it equated to a Motel 8. Prices in Ellsworth were considerably higher than other nearby areas but there are few restaurants nearby and they close extremely early. This hotel is very overpriced for what it is and what is offered.

Everything about this property was top notch: clean rooms, responsive staff, well appointed property,and it is located near Acadia and Bar Harbor. Most importantly though, every staff member we interacted with was helpful and went out of their way to help us: whether it was taking the time to find out if breakfast items were safe for our child with food allergies or giving us wonderful, personalized recommendations of areas of Acadia and Bar Harbor to explore! Will 100% stay here again on a future trip!

We stayed at the room in Annex and our group stayed at two rooms.-very clean and new! The room is clean and spacious and the bed is comfortable! The bathroom is small but very clean! We slept very well! The breakfast was grab and go- good for hikers! They have laundry and indoor pool. We didn’t use the pool but it looked big and clean. We didn’t use a lot service, but the staff at front desk was nice when we were asking questions. The only thing is that one of the room has a odor of new renovated room- Luckily we bought a sachet and didn’t stay at room a lot so it was acceptable. The other room was odor free though! Depending on which room you staying I think. There is a Walmart nearby and the Tesla supercharge, however, the route is a one way route in front of the hotel and about 40 minutes driving to the Acadia National park so not very convenient but we are very grateful for the last minute booking d/t plumbing issue at the other place we stayed! Overall good staying experience and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay at a clean and nice Inn- the room we stayed definitely way better than a motel room!!

The location is far from Bar Harbor and is a typical motel. Health is good, service is good, the network is too bad, there is basically no way to access the Internet. It is difficult to get close to the peak season park. It takes 40 minutes to drive to Cadillac Mountain in the morning.

Great place to stay if you're looking to visit Acadia and have a rental car! I stayed in a value cabin (think duplex cabin with one shared wall) and it was exactly what you would expect. My unit had a fridge and a comfortable bed. Employees were very nice-- would totally stay here again instead of being in Bar Harbor. There are full size cabins, value cabins, and motel rooms at this hotel so just pay attention to what you book so you can adjust your expectations accordingly. Another bonus-- it was a quick drive to a Walmart to stock up on supplies. There is also a really good lobster restaurant a little ways across the street with much better pricing than what you would find in bar harbor
