This hotel is about a 15-20 minute drive from the airport, right on the coastline. Downstairs, there are many lively seafood restaurants, all eager to attract customers. We ended up choosing the red tent restaurant across the main road in front of the hotel because it looked less crowded. Their seafood ramen and clam soup were excellent for warding off the cold (heavy on the black pepper - 16,000 KRW), and the regular instant ramen with seafood (8,000 KRW) was also delicious. I ate it two days in a row because it was so good and reasonably priced. During our two-night stay, there were huge waves and strong winds on the second night. Our room had a balcony with a great view of the coastline. It's very convenient to ask the hotel to call a taxi for you when heading out. Just across from the seafood ramen place, you'll find 'Black Pork Street,' and if you walk further inland, you'll reach Dongmun Market.

The room was great. On the first day, the mini-fridge wasn't working. I told the front desk, and by the time I came back, they had replaced it with a new, working one. The room was very warm; I didn't even need to turn on the heater. There's a McDonald's downstairs and an Olive Young (or something similar) cosmetics store not far away. The prices there were lower than those near the duty-free shop, I'm not sure why. You can use Gaode Maps to navigate to Udo Island, but don't trust its travel time estimates. It might say 1 hour, but it actually takes about 1.5 hours. I rode more bus stops than I ever have in my life – 82 stops! The sink in the bathroom drained slowly; I basically had to wash for a bit and then pause. The hotel's location is good for walking to Dongmun Market and Chilseong-ro. I found a 5-pack of banana milk for around 4980 won at a large supermarket near the hotel, while it was 1800 won per bottle at 7-Eleven.

The hotel room was very spacious. Looking at the floor plan, it seemed to be a room type where there's only one per floor. I arrived at the hotel a little after 4 PM, and only rooms on the second floor were available. My request to change floors was unsuccessful, so I just let it go. Each room only comes with one key card, and it wasn't possible to get an additional one. The power outlets in the room were too loose; nothing would charge when plugged in. Luckily, I had a universal adapter and managed to charge my devices using the power strip next to the TV. The blinds in the room were far too sheer; I was woken up by the light around 6 AM. Also, the motion-sensor light by the door turned on about seven or eight times in the middle of the night. Overall, besides the large room and nice view, there were quite a few drawbacks. On the bright side, the hotel's sea view was beautiful, and the coffee shop next door was excellent.

Very low water pressure! Unable to have a proper shower. The worst thing is the large gap between the shower doors which causes water to flow out into the sink area without any drainage holes so the entire toilet is flooded each time someone takes a shower in the second toilet (without bathtub) of the Family Suite. Rooms look classy and well kept and the location is close to eMart within walking distance. There is a GS25 convenient store at the hotel lobby (6am - 12 midnight) with a dedicated section for instant noodles, and another 24-hour GS25 located next to the hote

The location is good, with many great restaurants nearby and plenty of convenience stores around, which is very handy. The only downside is that I had specifically requested a non-corner room when booking, but still ended up with a room at the end of the hallway. At first, I thought I might have misremembered, but after checking my order details, I confirmed that I had indeed marked not wanting a corner room. The bathroom and toilet are a bit small but very clean. The largest showerhead in the bathroom didn't work when turned to full blast; I could only use the middle one and the handheld one. Everything else was fine.

2 of the man in charge of the front desk were unfriendly and looking fierce when we checked in. Upon checking out on the4th morning, we tried to ask them to assist in getting a taxi as I we have an early flight which they were reluctant. However, they complied but shouted at us to sit tight while he called for a taxi. This was uncalled for. Will never stay again even if the offer is free.

With a short trip to Jeju, a quick rest is essential and best part that the hotel is just 10mins drive away. The room is clean and added breakfast on the spot. There are quite abit of options available for breakfast. Everywhere is easy accessible in Jeju from the hotel by kaokaoT . There are staffs that speak basic English and Chinese, no communication issue. They are very helpful when I needed help to ensure that my navigation on the app was accurate. Location is in Aewol, so buildings are a little spaced out and require a few minutes of walking to get to any convenience store. That said, the hotel itself was awesome. The driveway leading up to the hotel looked like it was a shot from Beverly Hills. Booked the family suite with two bedrooms, each with an attached toilet with a very spacious living room. The hotel kindly gave us the sea view, which was breath taking and easily the best hotel room view I've ever seen. The staff were very friendly and patiently provided information of tourist attractive around Jeju island. Just in front of the hotel is a Cafe Noeully, for which we were given coupons for free Americanos as guests at the hotel. The cafe has a very impressive spread of luxurious-looking bread and nice slouching seats facing the sea to enjoy the view while chilling. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to live in the Aewol area of Jeju.

This is our second time choosing Samhaein Hotel, and we would happily stay here again. The location is very convenient—the bus stop is almost right in front of the hotel, making it easy to get around. It’s also near my son’s favorite place, Sammu Park, which made our stay extra special. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, so everything we needed was within walking distance. Overall, a comfortable stay in a great location.

This hotel, priced around 100-ish, was just a place to crash after sightseeing. It seems Korean hotels don't use air conditioning much; the hotel I stayed at in Seoul didn't either. The hotel's surroundings were convenient with easy access to public transport and restaurants. There was even a Chinese-run supermarket nearby where you could exchange money. The front desk grandma also spoke Chinese. It snowed in Seoul during my stay, and Jeju Island wasn't much warmer, so I felt a bit cold under the blanket. It seems their hotels don't use under-blankets...

Not a real 5-star for sure. Staff very rude and arogant, facilities nothing special, BREAKFAST overpriced - they won’t let you in after 9:30, they’ll remind you twice to hurry up and they’ll kick you out at 10:00, gym and sauna too… good location if you want to hang down town and be close to the airport otherwise far from everything… No early check in- unless you want to pay 25€ to get into your room at 13:00!!!! I will definitely never come back again… too much waiting in line for everything, and little enjoyment…a waste of money! The only person that smiled and was polite was the cleaning least on Floor 15. Such a sweet soul. Mostly Chinese guests that they rip off for the big rooms and decent food… 🤯🙄😤🤬

Facilities: The hotel is very conveniently located near the airport, just about 3 kilometers away. Getting around is incredibly easy, with a bus stop right outside. During my stay, buses were always readily available whenever I needed to go out, and using Naver Maps made navigation super efficient, saving a lot of time. Right outside, you'll find two convenience stores (a GS25 and a CU). If you walk a bit to the right from the hotel, you'll reach Jeju City Hall. At the main intersection, there's a huge Daiso, along with Art Box, ABC Mart, Olive Young, and a BBQ Chicken restaurant. This excellent location means you don't need to venture into the crowded city center for shopping or dining. Cleanliness: The room was cleaned daily and was consistently quite clean. Ambiance: It was quiet, and our window offered a lovely sea view, which was particularly beautiful on clear, sunny days. Service: Only two complimentary bottles of water are provided, so I'd recommend buying larger ones from the nearby convenience stores. I stayed for 4 days, and for a standard room priced at just over 200, the value for money was truly exceptional.

The hotel is quite large, and the pools are impressive, with many of various sizes. However, the Wi-Fi signal is poor. The staff are just average; you don't feel particularly welcomed. They get the job done, but their service attitude is mediocre, without much in the way of smiling service. There are also a lot of strange rules. For instance, at the poolside BBQ, you can't wear a bathrobe, and your swimsuit can't be wet, so you have to change into dry clothes either before or after swimming to eat. There's also a specific time slot for pool maintenance when only the jacuzzi is available, not the main pool. None of this is communicated during check-in; you only find out once you're there, which is quite inconvenient and awkward. Plus, the hotel is quite remote. There's only an ecological park to visit, and it's inconvenient to go anywhere else. Since we didn't have a car, we were limited to eating at the hotel. The hotel restaurant only had about 6 or 8 dishes, which I got tired of after two days. Afterward, I preferred to eat instant noodles. But to be fair, the hotel's environment is excellent, like a castle in the forest.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the beach. The room itself is pleasant, warm and has everything you need for a short stay. Avoid this place! The only positives are the spacious rooms and nice decor. 1. The service staff were unprofessional and somewhat cold. Upon check-in, there was no one to help with luggage, nor was a shuttle available. Our room was a bit of a walk, and we had to drag our suitcases ourselves. 2. I called the front desk and was told breakfast was from 6 AM to 10 AM. However, upon arriving just after 6 AM, I found out it actually started at 7 AM, which was a complete waste of time. As we were in a hurry to leave, our request for even a little fruit or bread was refused. (We paid for breakfast, so a little compensation or flexibility would have been appropriate.) 3. The air conditioning was incredibly noisy at night. 4. Room amenities were poor. No complimentary bottled water was provided (we had to buy it from a nearby supermarket), and basic items like toothbrushes and toothpaste were missing. 5. There were a lot of bugs, including large cockroaches. 6. The location is quite remote.

If you like a quiet and comfortable environment, this place is a good choice. We were traveling with a child and elderly parents, so we hired a private car for all the days we were there. Jeju Island is beautiful on sunny days, but it's a completely different story when it rains. The hotel rooms are somewhat like units in a domestic villa complex, so our room was quite far from the lobby (where breakfast is served). On a sunny day, it's no big deal, but on a rainy day, it's quite a hassle. There's an electric cart at the lobby that handles pickups and drop-offs, but it typically doesn't operate unless there's a guest to transport. On a sunny day, it doesn't matter, but on a rainy day, I really think it's essential for them to offer transportation services.🤣

Jeju Oriental Hotel offers a comfortable and convenient stay in Jeju City. The rooms are spacious and clean, with ocean views that add a relaxing touch. Staff are attentive, and the location is ideal—close to Black Pork Street and Yongduam Rock. However, the casino was underwhelming: small in size, with very limited game options, and only baccarat was operational during my visit. ”Who said that Jeju Island has a romantic sea breeze? The EEDO villa I lived in this time directly refreshed my understanding of 'home away from home'! The constant temperature pool control must be rushed: soak in the warm pool in the afternoon, the blue sky of Jeju is looking up, and the water waves are swaying the sun like a broken drill. Every shot is an ins wind blockbuster ~ room details are full: the bedding is soft to like trapped in the clouds, and every day I wake up outside the window is a clean healing scenery, and even the bathroom exudes a faint fragrance. When I checked in, there were Jeju specialty oranges on the table, which were sweet to bursting juice! In the evening, I personally helped us barbecue, the sound of black pork and his special sauce, and I went down and went directly to the soul to wear ”The Canteen” 😂 Before leaving, I even sent a small souvenir. The location of the villa is super convenient, it takes 15 minutes to go to Yayuexuan to see the seagulls. Remember to bring more swimsuits, poolside and lounge chairs are too filmed. If Jeju Island is gentle and shaped, it must be the water ripples in the EEDO villa pool + the fireworks of the landlord's grandfather's barbecue. Sisters close their eyes and rush, this is definitely worth N brushing!

great location, just 10minutes by cab from the airport. also a short walk to the main street within the city which is filled with food and shopping options including olive young. the room is spacious and clean (no carpet) and the arcade machine is a fun touch. there is free parking, but this is done via an elevator so it might take a while to get to the car. booked a windowless room, but it actually comes with one just that the window panes are fully tinted (no view). will definitely rebook.

I bought a last-minute ticket to Jeju Island and chose this hotel mainly because it's right above Lotte Duty Free, close to the airport, and has convenient bus access nearby. Plus, there are plenty of dining options in the area. The two ladies who helped me check in and check out both spoke excellent English. Even the gentleman downstairs at the lobby entrance, who handles the free shuttle and luggage storage, spoke decent English, so communication was a breeze. Room cleaning was thorough every day, and my pajamas were always neatly folded! The ocean view room overlooked the airport, so I could watch planes take off and land, although there was definitely some noise.

The hotel was fine. The bed and pillows are comfortable enough for a few days, but decor is drab and dated yet clean. There isn't much around in the area to walk to, but you are central enough to get a taxi to places without much difficulty.

If you’re not there for gaming, the hotel still delivers solid value and a pleasant experience overall. Great for sightseeing and unwinding, but not the best pick for casino enthusiasts.

The hotel has a good location. There are various restaurants, shops and bus stations nearby. It was not new, but neat and clean with everything needed. We arrived after midnight and checked-in fast. The lady at the reception said there were no restaurants open at that time, but we actually found a couple of nice ones nearby.
