Dongmun Market / Jeju City Hall Jeju|2.01km from city center
We were warmly welcomed by a lady staff member with a sweet, cheerful smile, and were able to check in early before the official check-in time. Our room came with a balcony offering a full ocean view, which was beautiful. However, the room itself was quite old, with an outdated design. Only reusable slippers were provided instead of disposable ones. The bed was too bouncy, and we could feel the springs inside. The pillows were also too thin and uncomfortable. Breakfast had a very limited selection, though the taste was acceptable. The hotel is nicely located right in front of the ocean, with a spacious open area across the road where locals set up camps and jog along the seaside. We also saw some locals playing basketball at the large court nearby. A special mention to the staff who helped us order fried chicken delivery — he kindly recommended popular local choices, and we really appreciated his help. If the hotel improves the room quality and comfort, it would be a perfect place to stay.

The room was very clean and in a good location. I didn't stay in a room with an ocean view this time, but the room opposite should be facing the ocean. The hotel is right on the beach and there is a good cafe next to it for breakfast. Many people are running in the morning. It only takes ten minutes to walk to Dongmen Market. It is also very close to Pork Street. There is a parking lot in the basement and a gym on the first floor. The swimming pool is not suitable for use until 3 pm.

Hamdeok/Jocheon/Gujwa Jeju|13.37km from city center
The hotel room was very spacious. Looking at the floor plan, it seemed to be a room type where there's only one per floor. I arrived at the hotel a little after 4 PM, and only rooms on the second floor were available. My request to change floors was unsuccessful, so I just let it go. Each room only comes with one key card, and it wasn't possible to get an additional one. The power outlets in the room were too loose; nothing would charge when plugged in. Luckily, I had a universal adapter and managed to charge my devices using the power strip next to the TV. The blinds in the room were far too sheer; I was woken up by the light around 6 AM. Also, the motion-sensor light by the door turned on about seven or eight times in the middle of the night. Overall, besides the large room and nice view, there were quite a few drawbacks. On the bright side, the hotel's sea view was beautiful, and the coffee shop next door was excellent.

The guy at the front desk was quite handsome, haha! They require a deposit for check-in. The room was pretty spacious and had a mini-fridge. I stayed for four nights, and they didn't change the sheets or duvet cover, but they did make the bed (because I used my own bedding). I left an unfinished yogurt on the table, assuming housekeeping would clear it, but they didn't 😂. Before checking in, I read reviews saying the soundproofing was bad, but our room was surprisingly quiet, we didn't hear any other noises. The convenience store inside the hotel closes at midnight, but the one outside stays open, which is great. I'm very satisfied with this trip ✈️!

The room was quite spacious, but it was dimly lit with insufficient lighting. The decor and furnishings were a bit old-fashioned. I visited in late March during cherry blossom season, and the air conditioning wasn't working. The toilet and shower were separated, which was good, but the shower area itself was a bit small.

2 of the man in charge of the front desk were unfriendly and looking fierce when we checked in. Upon checking out on the4th morning, we tried to ask them to assist in getting a taxi as I we have an early flight which they were reluctant. However, they complied but shouted at us to sit tight while he called for a taxi. This was uncalled for. Will never stay again even if the offer is free.

Location: great! 10 minutes from the airport. Walking distances to shops.  The hotel: very basic. It is not a hotel to hang out in. Just a place to sleep. The bed was extremely comfortable!  The staff were very nice and helpful. They could speak some English and Chinese. They provided me with great locations for good beaches to swim at.

Our stay at Uni Hotel in Jeju Island was fantastic, I definitely have to give it a big thumbs up! The most delightful surprise was the room's view. Opening the window revealed a stunning blue ocean. Waking up to the sound of the waves in the morning and watching the sunset over the sea in the evening was incredibly relaxing; every photo we took looked like a postcard. We booked a family room, which was very spacious and comfortably accommodated 3 to 4 people without feeling cramped. The furniture was well-arranged, making it easy to store all our luggage, and our family had a very comfortable stay. As for the service, although the front desk staff's English wasn't perfect, they were incredibly patient. They even spoke a few simple Chinese phrases, and with the help of a Korean translation app, all our basic needs were smoothly met. For instance, when we initially couldn't figure out how to operate the TV, they came up to help us very quickly after we notified the front desk, and their attitude was super friendly. The restaurant by the entrance also has ocean-view windows. Ordering a coffee and a cake and just slowly spending the day there was truly so chill! Overall, this hotel has a great location, suitable rooms, and excellent value for money. It's particularly ideal for family trips, and I'd love to stay here again next time I visit Jeju Island!

The room was lovely and impeccably clean, with absolutely no strange odors, and I was pleasantly surprised to find not a speck of dust, even by the windows. I'll definitely book here again on my next trip to Jeju. The bed was incredibly soft, and it even came with a bathtub! The bathroom was spotless. There were two complimentary bottles of water in the fridge, and to my delight, when we finished them, the staff kindly replaced them with two more the next day – a really thoughtful touch! **Ratings:** * **Cleanliness:** Excellent * **Facilities:** Decent, but clean. * **Condition:** A bit dated, but clean and odor-free. * **Service:** Excellent! Jeju Internation Airport / Yeondong Jeju|3.86km from city center
This hotel, priced around 100-ish, was just a place to crash after sightseeing. It seems Korean hotels don't use air conditioning much; the hotel I stayed at in Seoul didn't either. The hotel's surroundings were convenient with easy access to public transport and restaurants. There was even a Chinese-run supermarket nearby where you could exchange money. The front desk grandma also spoke Chinese. It snowed in Seoul during my stay, and Jeju Island wasn't much warmer, so I felt a bit cold under the blanket. It seems their hotels don't use under-blankets...

The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes’ drive from the airport. The property is clean and tidy, though it feels somewhat old and outdated. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. The front desk staff, especially some of the male employees, came across as indifferent and unhelpful. Prior to my stay, I had emailed the hotel with a few inquiries, but the responses were unprofessional and dismissive. None of the emails included staff names, which gave the impression that they were trying to avoid accountability. Overall, while the location is good, the lack of proper customer service made the experience unsatisfactory.

Jeju Central City Hotel: The Ideal Choice for Shopping and Dining in Jeju Choosing this hotel for our Jeju trip was a fantastic decision! The experience at Jeju Central City Hotel far exceeded our expectations, and I have to give it a proper shout-out. The location is truly unbeatable, right in the heart of Jeju City. Shilla Duty-Free is directly across the street, so you can dive into a shopping spree just a few steps away. Lotte Duty-Free and Baojian Street are also within walking distance [__LINK_ICON]. There's a convenience store right next to the hotel, making it super easy to grab coffee, snacks, or a late-night bite. Just a short stroll away, you'll find all sorts of fantastic restaurants – BBQ, fried chicken, seafood... you name it. You could eat out for days without repeating a single dish [__LINK_ICON]. Getting around, whether by taxi or bus, is also very convenient. It's only a 10-15 minute taxi ride from the airport, so getting there is stress-free. The service was exceptionally thoughtful. The front desk staff all speak Chinese, so check-in, asking for directions, and getting restaurant recommendations were all seamless. They even proactively shared authentic local eateries that only locals know about [__LINK_ICON]. The cleanliness also deserves praise; staff cleaned the room daily, replaced trash bags and towels, making for a very clean and comfortable stay [__LINK_ICON]. Whether you're traveling with family, friends, or solo, this hotel is a perfect fit. It offers incredible value for money, and I'll definitely choose it again on my next trip to Jeju!

Jeju Internation Airport / Yeondong Jeju|4.86km from city center
The advantages are that the room is indeed very large, showing signs of age but still quite clean. There's also a direct shuttle bus from the airport, and the surrounding location is very convenient. Apart from that, the service is basically zero. No one helped with luggage upon arrival, nor did anyone guide us on where to check-in. There was virtually no Chinese-speaking service, which made me wonder if it was intentional. The only time staff would engage was to ask if you were a casino guest, directing casino guests to a specific counter for check-in, while ordinary guests were completely ignored, and no one proactively asked about our needs. When checking in, I asked if a higher floor was available. The front desk replied that it wasn't her decision, but rather determined by the person handing out the room key at 3 PM. However, when I went to collect the room key later, the staff there said the room had already been assigned by the front desk during my check-in. So, who was lying? There wasn't even an umbrella in the room, and when I asked the lobby, they said all umbrellas were lent out. This is the first time I've encountered a five-star hotel that doesn't provide enough umbrellas. The consumed tea bags and coffee sachets weren't replenished on the second night, and don't even think about turn-down service or a second cleaning. As a Hyatt member, I received no benefits whatsoever, not even a fruit platter. It seems the owner is quite indifferent to the hotel group it's affiliated with. All of the above could still be tolerated, but then something ridiculous happened. On the second night, at 3:30 AM, a strange ringing sound appeared from outside the door, waking me up. It was intermittent. At first, I thought some gambler had stumbled into the wrong room and pressed the doorbell. Looking through the peephole, there was no one there. Terrified, and remembering a certain case, I searched frantically around the room in the middle of the night, only to discover the sound was coming from the automatic toilet in the bathroom – a musical sound that couldn't be turned off. It was too late to deal with it, so I reluctantly unplugged it and went back to sleep. The next day, plugging it back in, it still made that weird noise, and without power, it couldn't flush. Frustrated, I called the front desk. They seemed to have encountered this before, as a young man arrived with a new toilet seat within minutes and replaced it immediately. He didn't speak Chinese or English, just swapped it and left. From start to finish, no one offered an apology for waking me up in the middle of the night. I couldn't even sleep peacefully and ended up leaving right away. Later, when I returned to my home country and stayed at a Crowne Plaza hotel for a few hundred yuan a night, I was truly touched when the doorman came out with a luggage cart to help us with our bags the moment we stepped out of the car.

My family and I had a lovely stay at Ocean Suites Hotel. Firstly, staff service was prompt. Front-desk staff speaks English. The front desk and other staff tried their best to help accommodate to our requests and we appreciate it. The room was pretty clean, although the family room does seemed a little dated. The hotel is along the stretch of a long board walk so that was nice too! Accessible walking distance to Dongmun market, and Chilseongno shopping street. I think like most of the other hotels in Jeju, carpark is quite tight if you are driving an SUV. Just be careful. I would recommend this hotel if you are visiting Jeju!

This hotel is super convenient, with a great location right across from the duty-free shop. Just one street over, there's a popular sandwich shop with delicious food, and two streets away, you'll find the保健路 (Baojianlu) food street and sports goods street, where the black pork BBQ is amazing. There's also an Asian pharmacy downstairs, making shopping easy. There are 2-3 Olive Young stores nearby, and a BHC fried chicken place about a 15-minute walk away. I'm very satisfied! The front desk staff all speak Chinese. You can take a free shuttle bus from the airport and store your luggage until the afternoon. There's a GS25 convenience store in the lobby, and another supermarket across the street with even more variety. Paying the deposit with 300,000 KRW in cash is more convenient than using a credit card, as it's returned upon check-out. I recommend booking a local day tour; a mini-bus will pick you up at the hotel. The itinerary to Udo Island was great. Room prices were a bit high in August, but usually, a round-trip flight and room would probably be a few hundred [currency]. Lastly, Jeju Island in August was incredibly hot, and the air conditioning in Korean cars idling was really not effective enough.

Facilities: The hotel is very conveniently located near the airport, just about 3 kilometers away. Getting around is incredibly easy, with a bus stop right outside. During my stay, buses were always readily available whenever I needed to go out, and using Naver Maps made navigation super efficient, saving a lot of time. Right outside, you'll find two convenience stores (a GS25 and a CU). If you walk a bit to the right from the hotel, you'll reach Jeju City Hall. At the main intersection, there's a huge Daiso, along with Art Box, ABC Mart, Olive Young, and a BBQ Chicken restaurant. This excellent location means you don't need to venture into the crowded city center for shopping or dining. Cleanliness: The room was cleaned daily and was consistently quite clean. Ambiance: It was quiet, and our window offered a lovely sea view, which was particularly beautiful on clear, sunny days. Service: Only two complimentary bottles of water are provided, so I'd recommend buying larger ones from the nearby convenience stores. I stayed for 4 days, and for a standard room priced at just over 200, the value for money was truly exceptional.

Do not get taken in by the photo. When we arrived, we were so shocked by how old the place looks compared to the picture. The lobby was empty, there's no one by the door at anytime, only the receptionist and they barely acknowledge you till you queue and reach them. They are not fluent in English or Chinese, barely able to communicate at all, till google translate. The room looks like the picture but doesn't look like the picture as well, everything is in the right place but it looks nothing like the pictures. Way less bright, way less glam, and everything is broken literally. Our tap is faulty, it's a struggle to use the basin everyday. The curtain fell and was lying on the floor. The hook for your towel is broken and dangling. The charging socket is broken and can't charge. The shower leaks water even if you're not using then rain shower. And they only allow request of additional 2 bottles of water. Mini bar is fully chargeable. There is no smart TV or any phone screen mimicking, so the TV is useless. You want to pull the curtains? Gotta climb up the tub and walk on it and pull. All in all, very disappointing and not worth my money. It is considered affordable but tbh you could do better. I would've booked another hotel instantly if this was refundable 5 mins inside the room. 3 out of 10 for me.

Not bad at all, it's a great place for a vacation ⛱️. It's mostly Koreans, and there were also some corporate team-building events. It's very natural and the rooms are huge, with direct access to an ecological park with a small train. The highlight has to be the swimming pool – it's heated! There are multiple pools of different sizes, so it's perfect even for young children. There's also an indoor pool and a sauna. We made sure to go for a swim every day. The front desk staff were great too; they were able to accommodate most requests. A minor hiccup was that someone accidentally took my slippers, but after I reported it, they actually managed to get them back the next day! The only downside might be its remote location. It's quite a distance to get anywhere, and a taxi to the city center costs around 160. It's hard to hail a taxi yourself, but the front desk can help you call one. They don't use the meter, so it's a little bit more expensive, but they usually get a car for you in about 5 minutes.

The bed was small and hard, and the pillows were practically nonexistent, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. The cleanliness was also very average. It was only a one-night stay. The view online was described as beautiful, with the ocean visible from the window, and it was indeed true. However, such a beautiful view was marred by the small size of the room. Olle Resort was sooooo pretty and whimsical, they had beautiful nature, adorable cats, and the cutest architecture. It was like walking into a different world. Their villa was beautiful, but it is important to note they don't fill up their pools in Nov to May. Our receptionist was kind enough to fill it with cold water, and lukewarm water cost around 150,000 won. The furniture in the villa was beautiful and looked like antiques, and the pool came with benches and an umbrella for hot days, as well as a net for cleaning (which you can ask them to do if needed). The jacuzzi (or hot tub, since the jets were cemented) was nice and big, and could fit 9 people! The kitchen was well stocked with beautiful cutlery too. However, on downsides, it is important to remember this is Aewol and there are a lot of bugs and spiders, so do keep that in mind! Also, not the most accessible place by public transport. If you do take a bus, you'd need to walk on the road's bicycle path for like 10-15 mins before reaching.

We stayed three nights in Jeju Island this time and specifically chose a beachfront hotel. Although it's a bit of a distance from Hamdeok Beach, the hotel is right on the coastline, offering unparalleled sea views. It's also very close to the airport, making it perfect for a layover. I booked a sea view room, and the view was truly fantastic. It also came with a small balcony. Sitting there, enjoying the breeze and looking out at the sea was incredibly relaxing. The room size was just right; our family of three, even with a large suitcase, had plenty of space to unpack and organize. However, the swimming pool was a bit disappointing. The pool itself was quite small, and there weren't many lounge chairs around it. Moreover, there was hardly any shade in the afternoon and evening, so it got quite sunny. This was my first time visiting Jeju, and I booked this hotel because it was near Hamdeok Beach and had a 5-star rating. While the hotel looked good from a distance, the facilities were quite old and outdated. I paid over 1500 for a night for a 52-square-meter room, but it felt more like 25 square meters at most. The bathroom was like something out of a budget hotel from 10 years ago—very old. The room was also bare-bones, lacking amenities. You definitely need to bring a power adapter for this hotel, and you're expected to take out your own trash. Service was almost non-existent. It's about a 200-meter walk to the beach. ”Who said that Jeju Island has a romantic sea breeze? The EEDO villa I lived in this time directly refreshed my understanding of 'home away from home'! The constant temperature pool control must be rushed: soak in the warm pool in the afternoon, the blue sky of Jeju is looking up, and the water waves are swaying the sun like a broken drill. Every shot is an ins wind blockbuster ~ room details are full: the bedding is soft to like trapped in the clouds, and every day I wake up outside the window is a clean healing scenery, and even the bathroom exudes a faint fragrance. When I checked in, there were Jeju specialty oranges on the table, which were sweet to bursting juice! In the evening, I personally helped us barbecue, the sound of black pork and his special sauce, and I went down and went directly to the soul to wear ”The Canteen” 😂 Before leaving, I even sent a small souvenir. The location of the villa is super convenient, it takes 15 minutes to go to Yayuexuan to see the seagulls. Remember to bring more swimsuits, poolside and lounge chairs are too filmed. If Jeju Island is gentle and shaped, it must be the water ripples in the EEDO villa pool + the fireworks of the landlord's grandfather's barbecue. Sisters close their eyes and rush, this is definitely worth N brushing!

We stayed in a suite for two nights to celebrate my birthday, and it was a fantastic stay overall. The service was great, and the location is incredibly convenient for getting around. There are plenty of amenities nearby, including a convenience store right outside the main entrance. The coffee was delicious, the suite itself was very spacious, and the internet connection was fast.

Helen at the Front Desk is Hotel Leo's Shining Star! I cannot overstate how much Helen at the front desk improved my stay. I arrived exhausted and weary from travel, but her genuine, beaming smile and warm welcome immediately put me at ease. She didn't just check me in; she expertly arranged for my luggage to be taken to my room and ensured everything was in order. What truly set her apart was her thoughtful and proactive nature. She consistently anticipated my needs before I even had to ask. On a cold, chilling day, her incredible service provided a warmth that truly made my day and lifted my spirits. Hotel Leo is truly blessed to have such an asset in Helen. She embodies the highest standard of hospitality. Her presence alone makes Hotel Leo my undisputed first choice for any future visits. Thank you, Helenn!

The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel features an infinity pool on the rooftop. From the window, you can see the sea just a few hundred meters away. Its location is extremely convenient: a CU convenience store and the 202 bus stop are right downstairs. It's only a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport and a 30-minute bus journey to Aewol-eup on the west coast, making it perfect for exploring the western part of the island.

Facilities: All basic amenities are provided. Room: The rooms are on the smaller side, but the price is fair. Service: The staff were very pleasant, and the front desk team was particularly friendly. Cleanliness: The hotel feels a bit dated and isn't newly renovated. Location: Conveniently located near the airport; a taxi ride after landing is very quick. A bus stop nearby offers routes to popular tourist attractions, which are about a fifteen-minute walk away. Overall, quite convenient.

Dongmun Market / Jeju City Hall Jeju|1.04km from city center
This place is an absolute must-stay and was a wonderful surprise! When booking, definitely request a high floor with a sea view. Jeju Island doesn't have many high-rises, so the view from the top floor here was truly spectacular. From the window, watching the distant sea, sunrises and sunsets, and planes fly past was absolutely fantastic. Dining options in the vicinity are good; though not as plentiful as a central business district, they are perfectly sufficient. Shopping is a short bus ride away (just a few stops), but the overall stay experience was much more comfortable. Plus, the buffet breakfast is excellent with a great variety of choices.

Hamdeok/Jocheon/Gujwa Jeju|13.18km from city center
I've visited Jeju Island seven times, and this was my first time staying right by Hamdeok Beach. The hotel's proximity to the beach is excellent – it's incredibly close. However, there are several points guests should be aware of. If Hamdeok is a primary summer destination for you, I'd only suggest this hotel as a secondary option. The pricing is fairly standard. The room layout felt incredibly cramped; a kettle and sink were awkwardly tucked into a corner. To even access them, you had to open a door in the hallway, which was quite inconvenient and rendered them practically useless. During extended stays, they only changed duvet covers and didn't replenish bottled water, which was quite frustrating. While basic toiletries were provided, the towel situation was abysmal – only small hand towels were given. I'm not sure if they're worried guests will take them to the beach, but it was incredibly inconvenient. Furthermore, the toilet and shower faced each other directly, with no partition. **Pros:** * Excellent proximity to the beach. That's it, really. **Summary:** Not recommended unless absolutely necessary.

Although it was old, it was well maintained and the bedding was good. However, the induction stove did not turn on, the refrigerator was noisy, and the noise between floors was also too loud. I was hoping to relieve the stress of noise between floors at home, but it's disappointing. There was a strong smell from the barn on the trail (lake road). The snow was good, but...

This hotel is located between the main bus road and the seaside. You can get off the bus at Yayue 119 Central Bus Station and walk for 1.5 kilometers. It is closer to the Huandao Haibin Road, and you will be there in a few minutes after exiting the hotel gate and turning left and going downhill. , And at the intersection is a starbucks coffee shop. The hotel accommodation environment is quite good, the room is not big, but the floor heating is very comfortable, the small window facing the ocean, the room is warm and comfortable. The aunt at the front desk of the hotel is very enthusiastic and can speak some simple English and Chinese, and the communication is fairly smooth. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is very well decorated, low-key luxury, and beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows is a super beautiful sea view. The hotel’s dinner is mainly black pork barbecue, 250g per person for 24,000 won. Breakfast is 6,000 won, which is generally a simple western breakfast, which includes toast, fried eggs, bacon, coffee or tea. Since it was New Year's Day, the boss deliberately changed the breakfast configuration and only prepared a bowl of dumpling and rice cake soup for the guests, which is a traditional feature.

There is a bathtub right next to the bed, so it's good for people who want to take a bath. At first glance it looks clean, but there were a lot of gnats and insects in the corners of the room, which was horrifying. The humidity is so high that if you don't constantly dehumidify the room, it will turn into a rainforest. It's a shame that there are no slippers. It's very close to the sea and there is a 7-Eleven right in front, so the location is good. It was also nice that you could get your favorite bath bombs and soap when you checked in!
