Downside — it’s a little dirty in the toilet, especially the bathtub and sink area, water pressure is low and amenities are limited. Thankfully, customer service made up for it. Special shoutout to Michelle, who was super friendly and helpful! Thank you for helping us with our luggage (heritage hotel, no lift)!

Hotel v nostalgic so the vibe v good. But it does not cater for the need of modern traveler who brings with him/her the diff IT gadgets . The IT support/pod/socket not enough and wifi not strong. The is no a desk when I need to use laptop to do something. I saw many young travelers visiting Blue Mountain and they must be v tecky. If would be good if hotel can upgrade on IT setup. Another thing on the cleanliness I see dusts on some surface .. not sure it’s deliberate to show it’s a vintage hotel .

Our group of five stayed at Katoomba Blue Cottage for one night, and we were all extremely satisfied with the experience! The house is spacious, not at all cramped for five people, ensuring everyone had a comfortable space to relax. The interior design is warm and unique, with a charming vintage feel that made us feel relaxed and on vacation the moment we walked in. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we even cooked a simple meal together, which was very convenient. The living room was also perfect for us to gather, chat, and play games, creating one of the best memories of our trip. The beds were comfortable and clean, and it was very quiet at night, so everyone slept wonderfully. The location is also great; the surroundings are peaceful, and it's easy to get around by car. The host provided clear information, and the check-in process was smooth, making the overall experience very thoughtful. It's ideal for friends or families staying together, offering both privacy and shared spaces. If we get the chance to visit Katoomba again, we will definitely choose this place!

The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of the Echo Lookout Point and offering beautiful views of the surrounding area. Unfortunately, due to rainy and cloudy weather during our stay, we were unable to fully enjoy the sunrise and sunset views. I arrived after the front desk had closed, but the hotel had thoughtfully arranged a smooth self-check-in process, which was very convenient. One issue occurred after dinner when we returned to our room and discovered that the bathroom door was locked and could not be opened. We used the assistance button near the hotel entrance to contact the night support operator. She was very helpful and kindly provided us with a spare room key so we could use another bathroom while the issue was being resolved. We continued trying different methods to unlock the bathroom door and eventually succeeded by using a sharp object in the keyhole mechanism. Thankfully , we managed to open it ourselves; otherwise, we would have had to walk across to the opposite room to use the bathroom in the cold weather. Despite this unexpected inconvenience, I appreciate the prompt assistance provided by the night support staff. The excellent location and responsive service made the stay a generally positive experience. UVUV

The natural environment is very good, between the three sisters and the echo point, the supermarket, it is very convenient, before the 9th to the landscape can avoid the tour group. The hotel environment and price are still very good, breakfast is very limited, there is time to eat around, and the surrounding small shops are also very cute. The rooms are small, the facilities are old and common. There is no extra charge for parking. In the morning and evening, the mountains are very cold, and there are electric heaters in the cabinets.

However, the advantage is that it has an unparalleled window view. After a tiring day, you can check in and rest directly, and have breakfast directly at the hotel. The dinner was also quite delicious. I rested leisurely in the room the next morning before checking out. The bathroom equipment was quite complete and of high quality. In short, it completely met the quality I expected when I spent a lot of money to book a room.

We stayed at Kurrara Hotel Guesthouse as a last-minute booking due to limited availability, but it ended up being a really enjoyable stay. One of the highlights was learning about the history of the property when we arrived, including its origins as a retreat and recovery place for visitors from Sydney. That historical charm gave the stay a unique atmosphere. The guesthouse had several quiet lounge and sitting areas to relax in, which added to the experience, although we only stayed one night and had limited time to fully enjoy everything before checkout. A major bonus for us was the EV charging station, which made travelling with our electric car much easier. The location was also very convenient — around a 10-minute walk to the Three Sisters lookout area and another short walk into town for dinner and cafes. Breakfast was simple but good, although quite busy since the hotel was full and breakfast was only served during a short time window. Overall, it was a peaceful and comfortable stay, and we would definitely consider staying there again.

Is cosy lodge with unlimited number of room😂.It has all the amenities needed, a balcony to view the entire mountains. It gets quite cold at night as it doesnt really have a heater. Aside from that, the location is great, right in the center of Leura village next to delicious pizza and ice cream. It's a 6-minute drive to Katoomba center and 12 minutes to the Scenic World (cable car station). It's also right off the highway exit, and there's a Woolworths supermarket nearby. There's an indoor car park, and they'll give you a remote control key for it. Everything else was good, except for the hot water issue.

It is better to ride at the station in front of one station because there are not many people. I booked this hotel for our 5-year anniversary, as we thought it would be a lovely place to celebrate, with a nice location, great views, and the chance to enjoy dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. Since only garden-view rooms were available on Trip.com, we booked one, and I also mentioned in the notes that it was for our anniversary. While we weren’t expecting an upgrade, we were disappointed to find our room’s “view” was almost completely blocked by a large tree. For a special occasion, I had hoped for at least a small gesture or a nicer placement of the room. The restaurant staff were friendly, but it was clear they struggled when things got busy, which affected the overall dining experience. Finally, at checkout, we weren’t even asked how our stay was, which left us feeling undervalued as guests. For what was meant to be a memorable anniversary, the experience fell short of expectations.

A recently restored 1940s holiday flat one block from The 3 Sisters, Echo Point and the Prince Henry Cliff Walk. It has polished hardwood floors, a restored kitchen and bathroom and Mid 20th Century Modern details and furnishings. Sun fills the space during the daytime and a beautiful 'Eco Smart' open fireplace keeps it cosy in the evening. Facilities/ EntertainmentThe Flat has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a double bed. There is also a substantial rollaway single bed that can be placed in any of the rooms. All the beds have new high quality mattresses and linen. For weekend chefs the kitchen is well equipedThis is our holiday house, we do not live in the area and therefore we do not provide perishables such as milk and butter. There is a TV, DVD, Video and CD players, turntable and iPod dock as well as a wide selection of games, books, music and movies. Perfect for a couple or solo traveler, this restored 1940’s holiday flat is sunny, comfortable and a short walk to the most important views and walks in Katoomba.The spaceA one bedroom holiday flat at ground level, just five minute walking distance to the famous Three Sisters and Echo Point. This is a perfect location for hiking.The floor area is 40 sq. meters, larger than most studios and smaller than the average one bedroom urban apartment. It opens to shared garden spaces. There is a bedroom with a queen bed and built in wardrobe. The narrow bathroom has the original cast iron bath and basin. There is a hallway and a living room with dining table, lounge, TV/sound and a small kitchen. Please note there is no oven or dishwasher. There is however, an induction cooktop, microwave, electric fry pan, rice cooker, blender, toaster and jug. So you can definitely cook a meal if you don’t want to go out to one of the many restaurants and cafes in Katoomba and Leura.The flat is sunny, insulated and well heated with a gas fire, electric column heater and electric blanket.These apartments were purpose built as holiday flats in 1950. Rather than renovate we have restored them, keeping as many of the original features as possible. It is furnished with collected mid century items such as a 1960s Danish lounge and Eames dining table. We have attempted to create an interesting space that brings the original intent of the building back to life.Other things to noteThe flat is at ground level.Remember that this flat has been 'restored' not 'renovated'. Most of the surfaces are original (floors, tiles, bath fittings, kitchen cabinets) and have had over 70 years of use. The natural environment is very good, between the three sisters and the echo point, the supermarket, it is very convenient, before the 9th to the landscape can avoid the tour group. The hotel environment and price are still very good, breakfast is very limited, there is time to eat around, and the surrounding small shops are also very cute. The rooms are small, the facilities are old and common. There is no extra charge for parking. In the morning and evening, the mountains are very cold, and there are electric heaters in the cabinets.

Clean and comfortable, and it's only a 30-minute walk to the Blue Mountains. The lobby and kitchen are both spacious, and luggage storage is very convenient. The staff were also very friendly and patient in explaining and answering questions despite the language barrier. It makes me want to go back again!

The location is close to transport and the Main Street , where lovely cafe and restaurants are. They also have a top class restaurant also. The set up with the vintage look giving a wonderful experience, as if travel back in time. Staff were wonderful and the room was fantastic and romantic .

The location is close to the Three Sisters Peak, but it is far away from the lively urban area. It is not convenient for eating and shopping. However, the advantage is that it has an unparalleled window view. After a tiring day, you can check in and rest directly, and have breakfast directly at the hotel. The dinner was also quite delicious. I rested leisurely in the room the next morning before checking out. The bathroom equipment was quite complete and of high quality. In short, it completely met the quality I expected when I spent a lot of money to book a room.

Although we had some issues at first, the staff responded quickly with great communication and problem-solving skills. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of delicious choices, including gluten-free options. The service was thoughtful, friendly, and excellent. Overall, we had a great experience.

Hotel v nostalgic so the vibe v good. But it does not cater for the need of modern traveler who brings with him/her the diff IT gadgets . The IT support/pod/socket not enough and wifi not strong. The is no a desk when I need to use laptop to do something. I saw many young travelers visiting Blue Mountain and they must be v tecky. If would be good if hotel can upgrade on IT setup. Another thing on the cleanliness I see dusts on some surface .. not sure it’s deliberate to show it’s a vintage hotel .

The counter lady was very helpful and friendly. We can leave our luggages and put our food in the fridge after checking out. Location is the best of all hotels in katoomba. It is only 2 min walk fr the stn. Nice sofa.

Our group of five stayed at Katoomba Blue Cottage for one night, and we were all extremely satisfied with the experience! The house is spacious, not at all cramped for five people, ensuring everyone had a comfortable space to relax. The interior design is warm and unique, with a charming vintage feel that made us feel relaxed and on vacation the moment we walked in. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we even cooked a simple meal together, which was very convenient. The living room was also perfect for us to gather, chat, and play games, creating one of the best memories of our trip. The beds were comfortable and clean, and it was very quiet at night, so everyone slept wonderfully. The location is also great; the surroundings are peaceful, and it's easy to get around by car. The host provided clear information, and the check-in process was smooth, making the overall experience very thoughtful. It's ideal for friends or families staying together, offering both privacy and shared spaces. If we get the chance to visit Katoomba again, we will definitely choose this place!

Been to the estate a few times over many years. Always loving the view, the food and the great hospitality from the whole crew. This time around, I was very happy to be assisted by Michael from the concierge for accepting our luggage for an early check in, calling when the room is ready, etc. Plus, Michael is also very knowledgeable with all the activities there are. Bed is comfortable and room is immaculately clean. Due to the rain, it was unfortunate that most of the outdoor activities didn't happen, but we still enjoyed the stay through the indoor pool, air hockey, mirror maze, and ice skating all within the same compound. There's also affordable EV charging station here. 10/10 stay ☺️

I booked this hotel for our 5-year anniversary, as we thought it would be a lovely place to celebrate, with a nice location, great views, and the chance to enjoy dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. Since only garden-view rooms were available on Trip.com, we booked one, and I also mentioned in the notes that it was for our anniversary. While we weren’t expecting an upgrade, we were disappointed to find our room’s “view” was almost completely blocked by a large tree. For a special occasion, I had hoped for at least a small gesture or a nicer placement of the room. The restaurant staff were friendly, but it was clear they struggled when things got busy, which affected the overall dining experience. Finally, at checkout, we weren’t even asked how our stay was, which left us feeling undervalued as guests. For what was meant to be a memorable anniversary, the experience fell short of expectations.
