General impression is good and can be recommended further. Breakfast was very good. Service was good and instructions for changes were included. The size of the TV is still in old state and here the hotel should improve the size. The window hotel room was loud to the motorway and despite noise protection accumulation and greening - ＞ had to stay closed at night. But would be booked back at this price immediately.

The celebration of birthday on 22.08.2020 met all expectations. The festively covered tables in the holiday room enjoyed the eye, even the cozy garden area. The management had a good communication in advance, we realized fulfillable wishes from our side. Both the lunch buffet and the coffee table were best, the food was excellent in beautiful atmosphere. Visited Cottbus for business and found the Radisson to be the best value for money I could get: excellent breakfast, great sauna, good Internet connection, spacious and comfy rooms and very helpful staff. The hotel may look a bit ”retro” at first (rooms, lobby, etc) but you easily get over it by the amenities and helpfulness of the staff. I did enjoy the breakfast (best bacon in the region, good coffee, wide options, freshly squeezed OJ) and the sauna is really nice after a day of work and meetings. The location was perfect for me, as I like walking and did not bother the 15 mins walk to the center of the city, where you most probably will end up having dinner. Besides, the location is strategic for trains to Berlin + airport, car rentals, local public transportation tram and busses. Will stay again -

As this hotel is working with the DR Koch clinic, there was a room booked for us as I had to undergo a hernia surgery in Cottbus. The hotel is perfect located at the heart of the city centre. Easy to park your car in the garage of the hotel. Check in was swift and smooth. The first room we were allocated to was not really ok to us as my partner was with me for support during my surgery time, and had to work aswell from his laptop. So after asking for a different room with a bit more space and a better desk, we were shown 2 other rooms and one of these was perfect. At no extra cost we were able to take this room. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Thinking with you. Beds are ok as is the rest of the room. The only minor thing is the shower wich is a little small in my opinion. But the rest of the room and hotel are very ok for a week stay. B reakfast is simple but adequate. Very easy to get a lunchbox arranged and they were super friendly in everything. Giving information, asking how I was before and after surgery...it is THAT what makes a difference,. Hotels have rooms and tv's and everything. But it is the staff that makes the difference and for us...they did. Great people and very recommendable. As an hotel expert I have no hesitations in going back. Thank you staff of SORAT HOTEL COTTBUS!

Full disappointment already at check-in. Even a station hall and is pleasant. Privacy and discretion seem to be a foreign word in this hotel en. The staff welcomed guests as market cry ( loud , very unhappy , unpleasant). Thank you to the quiet trainer. Then the colleague should look out something that overplayed her inadequacy with stupid speeches and did on a big maker. The room was also clean for a meeting hotel i.O. Breakfast a disaster , the station hall atmosphere made the rest of the night perfectly to grandmother. No place in the breakfast room, the first coffee was made , feeling like drunk at the school courtyard in front of the door, for lack of space. The whole hotel is exciting and unrestful. The staff appears completely overloaded. A absolute no go. At breakfast missed basket for bread, dishes, butter, breads, everything went and went, disoriented and confused guests like staff. I can't absolutely recommend the hotel. 4Sterne for what? I didn't even have the impression that there was not enough staff, but that this worked absolutely untrained and unprofessional. You had the impression that there is no structure here, all over the hotel. The staff always smiled just made comments to overplay the state in this hotel. Very sad.

Eine schnelle Anreise über die Autobahn möglich, das Hotel liegt direkt an der A15. Zuerst haben wir gar nicht gedacht, dass es ein Hotel ist. Geschuldet dem Ambiente eines alten DDR Baus...allerdings alles renoviert. Ein Hauptgang und ein Nachteingang waren für uns mit Hund natürlich super. Das Personal super freundlich und zuvorkommend, egal ob an der Rezeption oder im Restaurant. Die Reinigung der Zimmer ist gut geregelt. Einfach nur die Karte an der Rezeption abgeben und dann wird gereinigt, wenn nicht dann nicht. Die Zimmer waren auf den ersten Blick klein. Gebucht hatten wir ein Zimmer mit Balkon und wenn man die Tür aufschließt liegt man direkt im Bett. Nächste Frage war nach dem Badezimmer, aber tatsächlich hinter der Eingangstür ging das Badezimmer ab. Dieses war sehr geräumig. Reinigung allgemein war soweit okay, klar gab es an der Decke ein paar Spinnweben und ein bißchen Staub, aber im Großen und Ganzen okay. Die Ausstattung war wirklich gut. Das Bett sehr gut, ausreichend Kissen und auch für Kofferablage war gesorgt. Ein kleiner gut ausgestatteter Raum. Dazu war natürlich das versprochene WLAN etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. In einigen Phase war ein 56k Modem schneller. Rund um das Hotel war sehr viel Gegend, für den Hund natürlich super. Alles sonstige gab es dort nicht. Das Frühstück war super. Alles was das Herz begehrt und abwechslungsreich. Marmeladen in einer hohen Auswahl, wahrscheinlich alles von DARBO. Eier, Pfannkuchen, Speck/Würstchen, Auswahl Spreewaldschmeckerlies. Super. Einziges Manko war der Kaffee. Instant. Abendessen war in der Halbpension mit drin inclusive. Getränke. Das war soweit okay. Die Auswahl der Getränke belief sich auf Bier hell/dunkel TOP, Wein weiss/rot TOP und sämtliche Softdrinks TOP. Das Essen gab es wie das Frühstück in Buffetform. Leider war dies nicht so ganz der Hammer. Man wurde satt, da es auch Salate (empfehlenswert im Glas), sowie die Auswahl des Aufschnitts (Wurst/Käse). Ansonsten okay. FAZIT: Eine schöne Entspannung, da total ruhig mit einer sehr weitläufigen Gegend. Aber alle Ausflugsziel, wie z.B. Cottbus, Forst, Burg, Polen sind in kurzer Entfernung erreichbar. Gerne wieder buchen wir wieder ein Hotel der Gruppe.
