The room is clean and comfortable, with lots of space to store luggage and stuff. I was quite surprised to see the coffee maker and refrigerator inside the room. The buffet breakfast is plentiful and the staff is friendly. The location is opposite to China Town with lots of nice restaurants for dinning. The only thing that could be improved is that room cleaning starts too early - at 9:00 am that I was woken up by the doorbell.

The hotel building boasts a grand and impressive Victorian exterior. Apparently, it opened in 1857, making it nearly 170 years old. Its location is superb, with a bus stop just over 100 meters away. As my friend put it, ”It's right in the absolute city center.” However, once inside the single room, the interior decor and amenities could only be described as simple. For instance, there's an approximately 28-inch Samsung TV mounted diagonally on the wall above a small desk, and the bathroom's rinse cup is inverted on the flat surface in front of the mirror, without even a tray or coaster underneath. The hotel restaurant is in the basement.

The hotel was really easy to find, just around the corner from Starbucks! It was super noisy though! Really, really noisy! But the room itself was actually quite spacious. It even had a bathtub which was a nice bonus! However, the heating in the hotel was way too hot and made the air really dry. Plus, the front desk staff spoke a lot of what sounded like Indian English that I just couldn't understand, which led to me constantly having to say, ”Pardon me???”

My husband and I booked a random night away. We are very pleased we selected the Edwardian in Manchester as it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and tidy. The spa pool area was lovely and relaxing (our children were with their grandparents so we swam at child free times). It was a shame to see people playing on their phones in the spa area. I was not really concerned about filming etc. However, it was sad to see they couldn't just switch off from the world for an hour or so in that location. We didn't eat in the hotel and got breakfast on the go as we were heading to work in the morning. We chose to spend the little time we had in the morning in the pool rather than at breakfast. We would normally have booked breakfast but as we had to get to the office for 9am we picked the more interesting opinion. We would happily book again.

Great hotel located just a 3 min walk from Manchester Picadilly Stn. Arriving into the room I was delighted at the size of the room and bathroom. Room came equipped with a small table, sofa and two soft chairs similar to what would be called a Jnr Suite in the US. Breakfast buffet at 15 Gbp was great value and top marks for providing individual pots of yogurt in lieu of the trendy open yogurts pans that very few people use due to health concerns. Big shout out to Mathew on the front desk who managed to get me into a room prior to the formal check in time which was greatly greatly appreciated after an overnight flight from Asia. Enjoy your stay!

By itself it is a nice hotel. I was just unlucky because there was a fire alarm. Getting down from level 10 is a lot. Also getting up again as the elevators were still blocked. Parking needs to be paid at entry. This needs to be done with an app that cannot be installed when you are not in the UK app store!

Considering the price, which was a few hundred, and the room size, it wasn't bad. However, the standalone chair was quite dirty. Since I didn't have breakfast or use any other hotel services, to be fair, I gave four stars for everything else. Aside from the dirty chair, everything else was okay. The location is truly excellent. It's right by Oxford train station and Oxford Road, with plenty of supermarkets, Chinese supermarkets, Yang Guo Fu Malatang, Sichuan restaurants, hot pot places, and even Jiangzhehu-style noodle shops nearby. There's also a bus stop right outside the door.

We came here to stay the night after a concert and our stay was perfect. Check in was easy as the staff are so friendly. The place itself is really nice as they have a restaurant, cafe and a bar that opens until 1am. It accessible to students to study in or people who generally just need a place to sit, as long as they buy something, which I personally really liked. We had the one bedroom suite room and it was so spacious. It includes a fridge, microwave, kettle, hair dryer and iron with an ironing board. The tv includes chrome cast so we could watch a Dance competition from YouTube on it. It also has a bathtub and I love having baths. The location is great as there it a Tesco just across it and it isn’t far from St Peter’s square so trams are just close by. Outside is the *** bar so it was actually quite noisy outside so beware on the weekend as people will be out and about until 5am. The only downside about the room that it was quite dusty on the floor but that’s the only problem.

Excellent service by Jean. She helped with our check in when there was an issue with finding the booking. The beds were comfortable but the floors were slightly dirty with food and breadcrumbs on the floor. The men’s lobby toilets was shocking and could definitely be cleaner. Walking distance to many food places, grocer and public transport. The hotel entrance unfortunately faces the back lane so you will walk pass quite a few rubbish bins and have to deal with the smells.

First of all, huge thanks for the room upgrade! I was a bit worried arriving around 7-8 PM that there wouldn't be any good rooms left, but wow, it exceeded expectations. The room was cozy and comfortable, and they thoughtfully provided some snacks, various teas and coffees, bottled water, and fresh milk. All the toiletries you could ask for were there, though we brought our own. It was clean, tidy, and spacious – super comfortable! It's also incredibly convenient for walking to the Science and Industry Museum, the Art Gallery, and the Football Museum, as well as for shopping. I loved it! There's a little bit of noise since it's near the train station, but it didn't affect my sleep at all. The front desk service was excellent, and their smiles were so sweet, haha! 😂

During my recent stay at this hotel, I found the overall experience to be enjoyable with top-quality fittings and furnishings. However, there were areas that required improvement. The hotel itself is pleasant, but enhancing the service and room cleaning would significantly improve the guest experience. A standard room was paid for but a disability-accessible room was provided. We requested to change it to a standard which was done immediately without any questions. No water bottles were provided in the room initially; they were only given on request and only two small bottles were provided. Additionally, the room cleaning service was unsatisfactory. Despite requesting it twice over 4 nights, the cleaner only changed the sheets once and neglected to take out the bins vacuum, replace towels or clean the bathroom. This was particularly disappointing given the length of my nearly week-long stay. The breakfast was beautifully presented with various options but unfortunately remained the same every day lacking any variation. Some areas were particularly poor. For instance, the scrambled eggs had a distinct smell and were overly watery. Adding tomatoes or simply varying the options every few days would have improved the experience. One concern we had was the cleaning team. Twice the cleaner used his universal card to enter our room without ensuring no one was present. My partner was in the shower and our young baby was asleep. We heard a knock but were unable to reach the door in time. Upon reaching it we realised he was already entering. This occurred twice and on the following day we decided to chain the door for privacy reasons. In other hotels we have stayed in, privacy is of the utmost concern for staff and they would never even risk opening someone’s locked door without making sure. A better system needs to be in place here.

This hotel gave me the best experience i had since I started my vacation journey. I had lodged in so many hotels before crowne plaza but this particular hotel was sweetly located in the most busiest part of the City and it was juzst what I needed. Located in busy street but yet the hotel itself was quite quiet inside. My room had a good view of the city. One thing that stood out for me was the fact that checking early and checking out late options were available!! Wow !! It was an accommodating hotel and my experience is 💯 beautiful. I took the most amazing pictures in this hotel and I wpuld hold it dear to me always. I also attended the club right next to it and visited other sites within walking distances which makes it more beautiful Parking is discounted by the hotel but I however parked at the public car park 3mins away from it because it was cheaper and my car was already stationed there, I did not want to move rhe car around. Over all experience was good . Breakfast was also very good with lots of options. The interior of the hotel was top-notch. Loved the white and black rooms concept. The rooms are well lit I will highly recommend.

The location of this property is excellent and was easily the highlight of our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance, and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, there were a number of issues that affected our overall experience. The blackout blinds do not fully cover the windows, allowing daylight through the sides from very early in the morning, which made it difficult to sleep. We initially had to change rooms due to cleanliness concerns. In the first apartment, we found some soiled items in the bathroom bin and a heavily rusted tin opener. In the second apartment, there were unpleasant smells coming from the fridge and the cupboard under the sink, and while the tin opener was in better condition than the first, it also showed signs of rust. Some areas also appeared to have been missed during cleaning, including around the fridge hinge. The biggest disappointment was the comfort. The sofa beds were uncomfortable to sit on, with the cushions constantly sliding forward. The main bed was even more disappointing. It appeared to be two beds pushed together, was noisy whenever you moved, and provided one of the poorest nights’ sleep I’ve had in accommodation. By the end of our stay I was waking up with a sore, stiff back, which was particularly frustrating as this trip was supposed to be a break after several weeks of physically demanding decorating work at home. For a bed advertised as a large double, it also felt surprisingly short. We also experienced an issue with our room key after arranging a late checkout, which meant an unnecessary trip back to reception to have it reprogrammed. Noise from furniture being dragged around in the apartment above was noticeable during our stay as well. Overall, the apartment had the facilities we needed and the location is hard to fault, but the comfort, maintenance and attention to detail fell below expectations. While I appreciate the friendliness of the staff, I would think carefully before choosing to stay here again.

So no issues with the staff down at the reception area at all, doing a smashing job representing the hotel, telling us about the app too upon arrival... check in the hotel earlier with app very cool, very nice, also the reception area is where the big bosses of this hotel choose to spend most of their budget as when you get to the rooms it does show. Cleaning staff - now what are they doing? Because they certainly aren't cleaning the rooms, the room was the dirtiest room I've ever stayed in, windows, bed, bathroom, carpets, i know its a budget hotel but basic levels of hygiene and cleaniness should be a must in a hotel, ive stayed in cheaper hotels and they were cleaner! Needs a refurb in the rooms and big recruitment drive for cleaning staff. Me and my partner had to make the bed before sleeping because we couldn't stomach sleeping on it because of how it was. Area is very loud, traffic, horns beeping, people shouting. On a positive note I did like the shower in the bathroom, the water pressure was excellent and it is in a brilliant location attending gigs and festivals in the area.

Very close to the train station and the Science and Industry Museum, suitable for families with children. Within a twenty-minute walk, there are shopping streets, restaurants, and more. The staff responded quite quickly and offered to switch rooms, though the outcome wasn't entirely satisfactory. The view was average, and the renovation quality was also mediocre; the shower wall was peeling. Breakfast quality was also just okay; the coffee machine was out of order, so a staff member individually brewed a cup. The price is similar to other hotels of the same brand in different locations, but the quality isn't consistent. Because everything was just 'average,' the overall experience was genuinely poor compared to other hotels of the same brand. Maybe they're going for a different vibe. Overall, dealing with various issues took up a lot of extra time... However, there's a small interactive kids' area on the first floor, suitable for active children. no parking at this establishment and no dropping off available at times as their maintenance and delivery vans might take up the small space cut into the front pavement. They do provide you with a discount voucher at nearby public carparks. Rooms are clean but the decorating is a patch up job throughout. The noise from the tram it is horrible and through the night as windows are not soundproof. In our room the heating was out of order and oil filled radiators were put up instead. Television sets have either the option for TV channels or to connect to your phone: bad aerial prevented viewing most channels and TV only connected to the staff's androids and not to our iphones. There was no options for apps such as youtube or netflix and kids have to entertain themselves on their tablet. Swimming pool is the size of a private one in a residential home.

GBGlobal T1Great hotel located just a 3 min walk from Manchester Picadilly Stn. Arriving into the room I was delighted at the size of the room and bathroom. Room came equipped with a small table, sofa and two soft chairs similar to what would be called a Jnr Suite in the US. I had a very good stay at Leonardo Hotel Manchester Piccadilly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was quick and easy. As I was celebrating a special occasion, my room was kindly upgraded, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The hotel is modern and in a great location, close to Manchester Piccadilly station and the city centre, making it very convenient. Overall, I had a lovely experience and would happily recommend this hotel to others.

It was a great experience staying here! The hospitality was exceptional, and the staff—especially Rebecca—made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. Location is super good, very near to city center and it’s just opposite the Chinatown. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Check in was very awkward and slow, instead of just info to the person at the desk you have to scan a qt code and put in an extensive list of your information (which isnt always clear what its asking you for) and once you've done this it gives you a code. You then give this code to the desk person, where they proceed to confirm all the details you just submitted anyway so this seemed like a pointless step and judging by the queue at reception it creates quite a hold up and is generally not very welcoming. I also recieved no info about breakfast options either. After all this, the room was basic but clean so not much to complain about. Location is very handy so for the price not bad but check in needs to be wither made fully self check in or just be normal like everywhere else.

I’ve booked a room with a bathtub, and the staff designated a room without it. I can accept they could make a mistake, but the staff didn’t apologize for his mistake when I asked for a room change.

Strictly enforced 3 PM check-in! The front desk staff was friendly and accommodated my request for a quiet room. The room itself was well-equipped and had everything I needed. The location is great, not far from Manchester Cathedral, with plenty of dining options and supermarkets nearby.
