      I dont often leave reviews, but I've read some negative ones and I wanted to give my perspective. The hotel is in a prime location for the city centre and all of the activities. Check in is at 2pm, but we arrived an hour earlier and thought we see if our room was ready. The man on the desk was lovely and checked us in early. We even got an upgrade to a room with a window which was a nice surprise! The hotel and room was clean and tidy. The room was a good size with a flatscreen TV and a nice big window which was open so the room was nicely aired. I can imagine it might be a bit stuffy if there wasn't a window, but I believe you can hire fans. Once upon a time, I can imagine the Britannia would have been a gorgeous, elegant, upmarket hotel. I think time and money has weathered the place a bit. It still has a beautiful staircase and Chandelier, but the whole place is very dated. Everything seems to be on a budget including the tea facilities in the room which was provided in a random plastic bag (there was no coffee). The cups in the bathroom were plastic. Below the hotel there is a nightclub/ bar which makes the place look cheap (but we were at the front and there was no noise, even with the window open!) That aside, the bed was comfortable and like I said earlier, it was clean. If you're looking for a comfy bed for the night in an excellent location then go for it. We were pleasantly surprised and would definitely return!

The problem is that the beds are very weak, and the worst, a lot of noise from the split air machines. if you are delicate with noises, it is horrible!!! I had to turn off the split in my room, it looked like a plane taking off. But when I turned off mine, those from other rooms were heard. Very expensive for what they offer. 1/2 star hotel in Spain

      The night before, check in did not tell us to check out at 11 o’clock in the morning and did not write in the confirmation email. The next morning the cleaner knocked on the door very hard at 11.30 the next morning. He had a bad attitude and told us that we would check out at 11 o’clock. She told her that she didn’t know beforehand if the check-out at 11 o’clock could be delayed for an hour. She said she would tell the front desk. Then after half an hour, she knocked on the door with another person but couldn’t even open the door. When I arrived, I deliberately ran away and still laughed, I have never seen such a hotel employee!

A hotel to recommend! The convenience store business district is convenient for shopping. It is neat and clean. This is impeccable. The bath towels and hand towels provided in the room are of very good quality and very considerate.

      An amazing hotel with an amazing lady ❤️‍🔥😍 prob 1 of the most nicest hotels I have stayed in and trust I have stayed in many over the 9 years of us being together! 5 star for me without a doubt next time I come though I want to experience the grill as we ate out due to it being v day n all but defo plan to return in Aug oh and loving the table service at the hotel bar 🥰 also the lovely staff grab you a cab so you don’t have to worry haha in there words “we don’t mess about here” love it my lady had the best time

      In the future, I hope to note the floor and other details in the basic situation of the room. When I arrived at the hotel, I first gave a room on the LG floor. The hygiene of the room was unsatisfactory. The window was almost against the wall, and there was only one corner to see the light. You can see that the railway was above. The train was passing loudly and sleeping Bad people must not live in such a room. At four o'clock in the afternoon, I was still confused about jet lag. I was scared by the sharp alarm sound, which lasted for tens of seconds. No one came to see it. Then the alarm sounded again for several seconds. So I could n’t bear to change the room. When I asked about the alarm, I said there was no problem. I did n’t explain the reason. I explained the reason for the change. The hotel had a good attitude. I took someone to take a look at a room on the second floor. , Meaning disabled people can use it, there is no bathtub. Decided to change rooms, afraid of staying downstairs and running out of problems. The newly changed rooms are generally good, but they are ridiculously high and live a bit unaccustomed to living. The room is equipped with some snacks such as fries, popcorn and chocolate, which is considered intimate.

      Travelled from Nottingham to see Ed Sheeran and paid over £500 for the hotel. We had a Premier plus room that was next to the lifts. The door next to the lift and our room kept slamming all night so quality of sleep both nights was extremely poor. Also didnt help due to the uncomfortable bed/ pillows. We also found hairs in the shower and the larger shower head looked like it hadn'tbeen cleaned for a while. We reported the noise issue to reception upon check out to which we were told they'd look into it. I've also reported it to the customer relations team and was very disappointed with their response. We were told because we didn't report it at 1:30-2am there's nothing they can do! (At that time all you want to do is try and get back to sleep). Not worth the £500 + we paid. Avoid if you want a good nights sleep.

      On arrival I did not realise that there would be so many stairs. That made things harder for me as I suffer with a bad knee, but the friendly personnel offered to help with my luggage. At this point I was told that I was not allowed a pet. On the Trip-it website it clearly states pet-friendly as well as in my confirmation email. The manager told me this could not be the case as they changed their policy concerning pets. I felt I was not being believed and fortunately had my confirmation email stating clearly “pets-allowed”. Do an exception was made! How that exception word irritates me, as It still makes me feel as if I did something wrong! I have an extremely well travelled cat with me in his bag and his proper no smell, no messes toilet comes with me as well as his scratch pole and gods bowls that gets put onto a plastic table mat. He sleeps on his own blanket and when I leave a room where we have stayed, that room is left in immaculate state. I even have a hand vacuum cleaner with me to make sure nothing is left out of order. Apart from these two things I found the personal in general all very kind, helpful, friendly and willing to sort out any problem.

      Stayed here 8th June for the Billie Eilish concert at the Arena. Couple of queries by email and phone prior to arrival all responded to swiftly and very helpful. Easy to find. Car parking was fine and is secure. Check in good, friendly guy on reception helping out when the machine didn't quite work. Room as expected, good size and clean. Love the mirror with shelf/hair dryer etc which is missing in most hotels. Easy 5 minute walk to the arena and shops/restaurants etc. Bit of noise outside late at night but generally quiet most of the time. Breakfast was excellent. Service from all the ladies was great, they are so polite, friendly and helpful. Check out good and could stay in the car park until 3pm all for £6 with a voucher from reception. Can't fault this place, would definitely recommend and stay again.

      Not the first time here. Not have to say it was the best of them. The room was extremely large. Walk in shower too. Not sure why I had an accessible bathroom though ? Magic FM on in the foyer. They listen to a classy station. This gave extra marks 👍 Parking is a bit of a faff to get out of though. This certainly could be improved. It was a good choice upgrading to a Windowed room.

      Last minute stay in Manchester for the jubilee stay. Price was excellent. Room could have been better, beds are fine, but carpet stained and room needed airing as smelt musty. We love the fact the pool has a swimming pool, however it was very busy this weekend and we had to return to our hotel for 30 mins and come back down again. Maybe more family slots should be offered on weekends or when bank holidays are on? Changing rooms weren’t the cleanest and even when busy this should be kept on top of. We went to the bar for a drink and prices and service was good. All in all we would definitely return, but there probably just need to be extra staff on for bank holidays.

      We booked off the cuff for a night out in Manchester and discovered a gem. The hotel is conveniently placed very near to Piccadilly station, so a very short walk to book in. From the moment we walked through the door every member of staff made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean, tidy and well presented, with built in USB charging points for our gadgetry, very useful when you forget your charger. The sunken bar impressed my wife because you weren’t perched on a bar stool, instead you sit in a nice comfy chair but still have direct eye contact with the bar staff. We decided to eat in the restaurant before heading out on the town, the food and wine were excellent, as was the service in the restaurant and at the bar. It’s lovely to see happy staff who interact well with customers, it made our day perfect. Thank you to everyone who works there, in particular Ryan, Reeve and Anoir in the restaurant, also Milan and Roberto in the bar, we hope to see you again soon.

      Breakfast is okay, it is best to buy breakfast when you book a room, or add breakfast at check-in. It is more expensive to buy breakfast later.
