1. On June 17th, I had a 'Still in' sign on my door during the day. Although I went out for lunch, I didn't remove the sign as I didn't want anyone entering my room. However, when I returned in the afternoon, I found that the room card I had left in the power slot was gone, stolen! I immediately went downstairs to report to the front desk that my room card had been stolen from the slot inside my room. The front desk had no idea who had entered my room, meaning the person who stole the card could re-enter my room at any time. There was absolutely no security during my stay. The front desk staff were completely unhelpful and showed a passive attitude. 2. On June 18th, around 9 PM, I was taking the elevator downstairs when it broke down and wouldn't open. I was trapped inside, continuously pressing the emergency button. It took several minutes for someone to respond, but still no one came to help me get out. The elevator was a sealed space with no air circulation, which was very uncomfortable. In the end, I had to use all my strength to pry open the door myself to escape. I immediately went downstairs to complain to the front desk. There were two staff members on duty at the time; one sat there as if nothing had happened, while the other had a terrible attitude, stating that he had called maintenance and that the broken elevator was not his problem. I asked, 'Shouldn't you have helped me get out first? If maintenance never arrived, would I have been stuck in an airless elevator?' This hotel clearly has no SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for elevator breakdowns, simply abandoning guests trapped inside. When I complained after freeing myself, instead of apologizing and comforting me, the duty staff member argued with me, saying he was only responsible for calling maintenance and nothing else. He even dared me to complain to hotel management, saying he didn't care. There was absolutely no service quality. 3. From the theft of my room card from inside my room to being trapped in a broken elevator with no assistance, this hotel offers absolutely no security and terrible service quality.

Upside: The bed was very confortable and the shits were soft. The kitchen amenities made my stay even more convenient. There are a few kitchen utensils There's a metro station near by There are shower gel and towels Downside: The hitter was barely working The deposit had to be made through card, no cash. Don't expect to get your deposit back the same day as different banks have different policies, the transfer may be delayed a few days from what I understood. There's no toothpaste or toothbrushes

Excellent! The hotel is housed in a grand old building that has been meticulously renovated. The front desk and parking attendants provided great service. When I was having a beer at the restaurant, I asked a staff member about Bouillabaisse, and a short while later, they brought me a note with three nearby restaurant recommendations. As soon as you drive up to the lobby, staff members are there to take care of parking and other services. The location is fantastic, directly facing the Old Port and just across the square.

Much better than expected! The early flight arrived at 9 o'clock, and the room was ready! Victoria, the front desk lady, was very enthusiastic and spoke good English. She answered all kinds of questions carefully, including various matters about chartering a car to Nice. But the hotel's charter and taxi reservation are a bit expensive (50%+ premium vs. market, I chartered a car for 400 yuan, the hotel quoted 600 yuan; Uber 15 to the train station, the hotel charged 25 yuan...) This may be the only point that is not so ok, but this is an additional service outside of accommodation, so it is not included in this rating. The room facilities are very new, and the inner courtyard is very quiet, I like it very much.

Hotel above expectations, quality price absolutely disproportionate. Almost 4 star service with a very low rate. The staff was really kind and available for every request. The elevator a bit crazy while I was there, in my opinion the mirror reflects on the photocells and continues to reopen the doors. But even if this very prompt in solving the issue. Thanks I hope to return soon

The bed is quite big, maybe not as big as a king, but two adult women won't feel crowded. The room is a bit old, but it's still quite clean. There is a shower and a bathtub, but the seal of the shower room is not well pasted or old, and it leaks. The balcony faces the port. The rooms with balconies are all on the lower floors and face a road to the port, not directly next to the port. The view is average, and Marseille is always windy in winter, which feels quite tasteless. The breakfast is average. I don't know if there are not many varieties in the off-season, but the restaurant is high and you can see the whole Marseille. The popular seats on the terrace are not open in winter (and it's really cold). The hotel has a basement where you can pay for parking, 32 euros a day, and the entrance and exit are very narrow, so be careful. But this location is convenient for highways. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the center of the old port. The area around the hotel feels safe, and it's no problem to walk back after dinner in the evening.

The location is very good, it is convenient to go everywhere, in the downtown area, but the waiter is a bit sloppy in cleaning the room. Our rooftop terrace had bird droppings on the floor that were not swept clean, and the lounge chairs were also quite dirty, so we couldn't lie down. On the last day, no one came to clean the room. Ctrip contacted the front desk and they said they would come between 3-5 pm, but no one came after waiting for a long time, wasting a lot of my time. Then they told me that no one would come today, so I had to clean up by myself. After repeatedly telling me that there were no towels to use at night, the temperature was over 30 degrees, and the garbage was not cleaned up and it smelled. At 7/8 o'clock, someone reluctantly came to change the garbage bag and give towels. The actual condition of the terrace floor and lounge chairs is shown in the pictures

I booked this hotel in a rush, seeing a 4.5 rating on Ctrip. Environment: First of all, the hotel's location is very convenient, right in the old port, with a view of the pier from the window – the view is okay. Transportation is convenient, very close to the train station. The staff were very warm and attentive, five-star service. The following is for those who value cleanliness: The hotel's cleanliness was disappointing, which was my top priority for accommodation. The facilities did not match the price and four-star standard. For example, the wall materials in the room clearly needed replacement or renovation; they weren't just old, there was obvious dirt on the walls, which was very unpleasant to see while lying in bed. The hairdryer was heavily dusty. The toilet bowl had a yellowish tinge, making it unusable. The window faces the harbor, but the curtains offered virtually no light blocking. They were single-layered fabric in very bright colors, waking you up immediately.

I almost didn't stay here after reading so many reviews, but once I checked in, I found it to be pretty good. First off, the location is a huge plus. It's only a 2-minute walk from the train station, which was incredibly convenient as I needed to take frequent trains to Aix these past few days. However, if you're planning to explore Marseille itself, staying closer to the main attractions would be better. This area is a bit far from the beach, and Marseille isn't known for being particularly safe at night. The hotel room isn't very big, and it lacks amenities like a fridge, kettle, coffee/tea bags, or cups. However, there is a bar in the lobby. Otherwise, the cleanliness and service were acceptable. I was pleasantly surprised that they allowed me to check in 3 hours early! On the downside, luggage storage does cost between 6-12 euros.

The room faces the old port, offering a nice view. From the balcony, you can watch thousands of ships docked in the old port. The Carrefour supermarket across the street has an underground parking garage, which is very convenient, just a 2-3 minute walk away. The location is excellent, with a subway station and many restaurants nearby, making transportation and dining very easy. Hotel facilities and service are average. At night, the nearby bars can be quite loud, and there's occasional motorcycle noise on the street, making it a bit noisy overall.

Chambre refaite à neuf, bien agencée. Assez spacieuse pour deux personnes. Accueil cordial. Literie confortable.

I chose this hotel because it is close to the train station and convenient to take the airport line the next day. The location is very good, just a few steps from the subway station, two stops to the old port. Most of the attractions in Marseille are around the old port. There are not many hotel rooms, the room is not big or small, if you open two large boxes, there is a little restriction on walking. The room rate is early, there are not many breakfast options, there is a courtyard where you can eat breakfast, you can have a cup of coffee in the courtyard.

Coming out of the train station, head towards Marseille's Arc de Triomphe. You'll know you're there when you see the Arc de Triomphe Hotel; the entrance is on the right and the hotel itself is on the left. If you have luggage, use the side entrance as the main entrance has steps. The rooms aren't cleaned daily, and extra towels come with an additional charge. It gets incredibly hot in the room, even though it doesn't get much direct sunlight. If the price difference isn't significant, I'd recommend booking a room with a balcony. Those rooms face outwards and offer a view of the Arc de Triomphe. There was a bit of a mix-up with my Ctrip reservation. The younger guy at the front desk couldn't find my booking, but the more experienced staff member was really helpful and sorted it out even before Ctrip could. The French lady at the front desk during check-out was excellent, very proactive, and even said goodbye in Chinese!

First off, the location is great. It's not in the Old Port, but it's not too far, within walking distance. There's a pretty large pharmacy right downstairs with very reasonable prices. The front desk staff member spoke fluent Chinese and was very enthusiastic. We had an early flight and planned to just store our luggage and head out, but they gave us a room straight away, allowing us to freshen up after a long journey. The street next door has what's considered the largest commercial center. On the third floor, there's an observation deck – perfect for sunbathing and enjoying the sea breeze, very picturesque. In fact, on our last day, when we were considering staying an extra night in Marseille, our first thought was to come back to this hotel.

The apartment hotel is well located and overall quite clean, which makes the stay rather pleasant. However, the experience was clearly affected by the attitude of the receptionist. Step into the sea of sunset The environment is really pleasant! I feel that I can step into the sparkling sea from the room, and even the bathroom is designed with light. In the afternoon, the coast downstairs is full of young people enjoying the sun, playing music, jumping in the sea, drinking beer, and being very happy. But at night it was very quiet, and there were waves as white noise, and I slept very comfortably. The hotel's top-floor open-air swimming pool and the bottom indoor swimming pool are divided equally, each with its own comfort. The hotel also intimately provides a small basket for easy bath towels. I thought there would be some distance from the city center, but I didn't expect to drive for a few minutes. Not far from the side is the prestigious sunset restaurant. Maybe the only problem is that there is no parking lot, and I look forward to thinking of a solution as soon as possible.

Second stay at this hotel. Convenient for when traveling to / from the cruise port or airport. The hotel itself is very nice, small but great character and good facilities. We had a double floor mezzanine family room. Great room with comfy beds, clean, good amenities and nice bathroom, fridge, coffee machine etc so everything you need. There are two big downsides to this hotel that are out of their control. The old big French doors / windows look great but are not good at all for sound. We were on the 5th floor and heard cars, sirens, mopeds and people until the early hours and this does impact sleep. The second thing is the area, not a pleasant place at night. Lots of Homeless, rough sleepers and not a welcoming place. For us, simply going there to sleep and be comfortable and have a nice room it was good and we’d stay again, but it is expensive when you consider the area and noise at night vs some other better located hotels in Marseille
