Just steps from Main Street, the river, the train station, and DIA, this quiet haven blends contemporary amenities with the charm of a 19th century home. Experience a unique blend of old-world elegance and modern comfort, perfect for your getaway. All within walking distance to all local attractions. Your stylish retreat awaits!This beautifully restored, private property is part of side-by-side duplex on a mini-estate.You’ll have your own entrance with two car parking. You’ll have the entire apartment to yourself. Feel free to explore the outdoor garden if you’re so inclined, or just take in the sunset over the Hudson sitting by the rose garden (a work in progress!). I live next-door, travel a good bit but I’m always a text away, happy to help if you need me. If you’d rather have your privacy, you can manage 100% on your own.This property has two bedrooms upstairs, both with queen size beds, fresh linens and black out shades. There is a large closet in one of the bedrooms and another closet in the hallway. You will have plenty of extra linens, pillows, blankets and so on. Should you travel with your baby, you’ll have a pack-n-play and a baby Björn bouncer with all the linens you might need. There is also an extra, smaller space, very quiet and private for your work away from home, meditation or quiet time. The upstairs bathroom is large, with a full size bathtub and shower, washer/dryer and all the necessary toiletries, including a hair dryer.The downstairs space consists of a large living / dining area, an eat-in, well equipped, kitchen and a half bath. The sofa in the living room opens into a bed, slightly larger than a double (European size). The house is freshly restored with all the modern amenities, but with a rather minimalist interior instead of the heavily ornate Victorian. Sleek, contemporary, comfortable furnishings, mostly Ligne Roset, with a light, whimsical touch.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:This is a residential neighborhood. Renovated with creative touches of local artist host, who resides upstairs with separate entrance.The spaceReally the most stunning 180 degree views of the Hudson valley and river from windows or patio.Artist host designed and made chandeliers, gilded glass, pictorial outbuilding.Guest accessThe first floor one bedroom apartment has 2 entrances, one large room for kitchen, dining, living and the river entrance goes to a furnished patio overlooking the river and hills.The separate second floor exterior entrance is up the deck steps, so patio may have a walk-by for second floor access.Inside, the steps are securely closed by a panel door at the top of the stairs.Other things to noteMuch of the furniture is made of glass so it is not kid friendly.There are lots of glasses, plates, platters and trays for entertaining.
