We loved our stay so much! The location is about 15 minutes from Baletero Port, and we paid ₱216 for a tricycle (tuk-tuk) ride to the resort. We were warmly welcomed with fruits and drinks. The staff also gave us an orientation and recommended activities to do on the island. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. They helped us arrange a tuk-tuk whenever we needed one. The breakfast was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. We highly recommend this place to others.

Very cozy place, small but comfortable hotel with nice swimming pool, clean rooms and nice view (first line on the sea). Albeit you must know that despite the title Sabang beach you won't find any beaches here or somewhere around - just a waterfront made from rocks. If you looking for the place where you can lay on the sand and then enjoy swimming its not a place for you its a place for divers who using boats that departure from the waterfront all times. If you don't want to swim in the sea then you may consider this hotel. Lots of ants and poor soundproofing but in any other aspects its worth the money!

The value for money is excellent. The rooms are very spacious, and the bathrooms are top-notch. Everything is clean, and the room is cleaned daily. The staff is friendly and attentive. They're always smiling. The hotel is located right in the center of Puerto Galero, but the nights are quiet because it's on a small side street. Everything is within walking distance, but there's a guy who rents scooters at good prices. His business is called King David Rental, and his name is Denny. So, we had an unforgettable stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back again.

When I checked in, I didn't know that there was no hair dryer and I had to ask the front desk for one. However, the front desk closed at 5 pm. As a result, I couldn't dry my hair on the first day of check-in. The balcony of the room is very close to the shopping street, so it can be a bit noisy at night. The housekeeping service needs to be improved. I feel that only the bed sheets and garbage bags are changed. The bathroom could be cleaned a little better.

If I live on the fourth floor and close the airtight window of the toilet, and then close the toilet door, I am basically not affected by the music of the bar street behind. The food on the second floor is delicious, but pay attention to the Philippines' portions are all oversized 😹

We stayed for 3nights and the location are nice and quiet, just expect the brownout/no power as it seems normal in Puerto Galera but they do have back up generator which is nice. The ambience of the surrounding, the pool and the bar are amazing. Overall, we are happy and definitely will go back to this resort.

This was my first visit. The location was excellent, about a 3-minute walk from the beach. There was a tricycle stop nearby so getting around wasn't too much of a problem. There is no reception so check-in may be a little confusing. I asked a man nearby to call the person in charge and then I went to my room. The room was what you'd expect for the price, but there was no hair dryer. If price and access to the beach are important to you, I think it's a good choice!

This hotel complex has the best location on the beach as there’s a good view of the bay and it’s possible to sleep because here you are away from the noise of the bars. Set in lovely gardens and the pool looked basic but okay although I didn’t use it. Kim the receptionist/sort everything person was amazing. He organised trips, ferry tickets and transport around the resort, very much appreciated. Overall, I wouldn’t choose this complex again because the facilities are poor. The room, although called deluxe was far from it. I would describe it as shabby and in need of renovation. Although it was clean, it didn’t feel so because it was so tatty, particularly the furniture. The bed was comfortable though. The shower was horrible, it was barely lukewarm and hardly any water came from the showerhead which was in desperate need of replacing along with the whole system . There were no facilities of use in the room like an iron or hairdryer just a fridge that remained empty. The air-conditioning was extremely noisy and old, although it did keep the room relatively cool. Breakfast was also disappointing, particularly the continental. Two bits of semi stale toast and a little bit of butter and jam with two fried eggs. The Filipino choice was a bit better. But honestly, id give it a miss The worst part was it was far too expensive in comparison with my other stays in many hotels across Asia. Not even worth half of what I paid.

Love this family friendly resort. Their family room is big enough for us 3 adults and 2 kids. We added an extra mattress so my mother doesn’t have to go up and down the stairs. We feel at home instantly. There was a typhoon going around in Philippines but the resort has a restaurant and shops are just a 10min-walk. The pool and dive center is just perfect! The crews are fantastic. Special thanks to Joy who helped to check our reservation, although it was paid through Trip.com. The best part is they are trying to reduce single use plastic by using big bottles of shampoo and shower gel. Better for the environment.

I booked for Family Deluxe Room with Kitchenette but what I received is just a Family Room with 3 beds without partitions which is way different what I have selected online. The manager asked to upgrade the room but with additional fee. We’re on a budget and could not afford to do that. I immediately asked assistance from Trip.com because the voucher I’ve received is no kitchenette and it’s inconvenient because instead of us can cook to save we need to buy pricey meals in White beach. Lucky, Howard offered us to compensate regarding the inconvenience because it stressed me out. Thanks to him.

The appearance of the hotel is very good, the room facilities are very old, not as good as domestic express hotels, cooling by fans, window-type air conditioners, and the sound of the refrigerator is relatively loud. On the wooden floor, if someone walks around next door, the pillow will feel vibrated. Also, the smell of oily smoke in the hotel is more uncomfortable! The location of the hotel is still good, as soon as it comes out is the beach, which is more comfortable, that is, the facilities in the hotel are really average, but the hotel on that island is estimated to be about the same.

The hotel's internal environment is not bad, there is a small swimming pool, but the water quality is worrying, swim for a while and a layer of black. The choice of breakfast is small and the taste is average. The price is more expensive. When it comes, the weather is too late. There is no comparison. The price of eight or nine hundred is enough for five stars. Compared with the service, there are only two front desks. We chose this place by reviews and for its location. When we arrived we had to sign an agreement with the property rules which are in abundance: from “no outside food or drinks at the property” to fines for stained towels and sheets. Though there are “shhh” signs everywhere I woke up both mornings of our stay because someone was walking and talking loudly right outside our door. The room is really small close to tiny, there’s no fridge (ok, that’s the type of room without one), the safe didn’t work but the friendly and helpful staff kindly stored our valuables in theirs. The place is beautifully located and the food is ok.

Quite fun place to stay . Room is spacious and the bed is extremely comfortable . I would certainly stay again. Swimming pool is very clean and the restaurant managed by them is very delicious food . Shower 🚿 water pressure is great , and the only disappointment was no curtain in the shower room even tough I informed the front desk about the issue and the mess it causes every time I showered . I highly recommend this place .

The hotel is average. In the booking they said it has a hair dryer which they didn’t have. Even went to ask to the receptionist. The bathroom was so so, the sink water was on a sensor which didn’t work properly, was annoying when I had to shave, even brushing teeth was abit difficult. The toilet cover also kept closing and I when I told the receptionist they sended a guy and he taped it which didn’t hold for too long. We were 2 and they only gave one shampoo and bath gel. 🤷♂️They not had a kettle or any other “normal” appliances you see in a 3-star hotel. But the bed was comfy, the receptionist was nice and its direct on the beach…

This is a very cute place to stay! The staff was very friendly, the room was comfortable, and the stay overall was enjoyable. The room was generally clean, with some details overlooked (like previous guest's receipt on the floor and a few other papers around the room, one of the towels was a bit dirty). The hotel only provides a toothbrush and a toothpaste (and shampoo and shower gel in the shower), but I found the lack of a bar of soap disappointing. The location is great, the hotel is right at the beach, and easily accessible. The hotel cafe is adorable, serves good food, and the staff is friendly and polite. As for the provided breakfast, I could choose from the breakfast menu at the cafe, and coffee was served directly. Overall, I would definitely recommend this adorable hotel to anyone visiting, it's charming and worth staying in!

This is my third time staying at this hotel. And sadly, it just doesn’t get any better. And they even did a remodel since I was here last. Sad, old hotel that is unfortunately the best that Calapan has to offer. The rooms are clean, the pool is good and the staff very nice, but that’s about all I can say to the positive. No hot water, little in the way of amenities and the breakfast included with the room is just pathetic. All of this and reasonably expensive by Phillipines standards. I had just come from the Lalaguna Villas in Puerto Galera, so the contrasts were extreme. I am currently at the Manila Hotel, so again the contrasts are extreme. There are few options for a hotel in Calapan, they host many weddings and local events. But seriously, someone should open a decent hotel in a capital city of 140,000.

Helped organize excursions, order a taxi and resolve any issues, provided a transfer from the hotel, brought everything you need before your vacation. Even helped buy a ferry ticket in advance! Simply perfect staff, I have never seen such service in any hotel)) + You can always call reception from the hotel, and you can easily catch any in the city back + The beach is 5 steps away, especially if you take a room on the 1st floor with a sea view, you can walk barefoot from your room to the beach in a few steps + We only saw one or two couples occasionally from the guests and that's it, as if the hotel was just for us Cons: - [ ] I would like sun loungers on the beach and by the pool, where you can lie down (with an umbrella). Now they provide beach chairs, but you can't sit on them for long, and in principle, if you take a room not on the 1st floor with a sea view, you can only sit on beach chairs on the hotel grounds (upon request). This also needs to be improved) - [ ] The room is new, everything is nice, new, but there was no refrigerator, safe, wardrobe. Despite the fact that there is enough space in the room for all these amenities) - [ ] Breakfast is not a buffet, only 3 types, scrambled eggs with bacon, beef and pork. In principle, we are not picky, it is enough for us, but those who stay here for a longer time will go crazy from such a choice (but we found a very tasty cafe with breakfasts, though you need to walk a little, more on it below) - The hotel is on a steep descent, walking up the mountain is a bit of a sporting activity) but there is nothing near the hotel (except for 1 cafe in km Bayview, with the only normal coffee on the island (from a coffee machine) and the most delicious chicken sandwich in the world!!!) and so, only the road along which you can walk a little, and then there are already a lot of cars and serpentines, you will not be able to go along it, since there are no paths for people. When we arrived we had to sign an agreement with the property rules which are in abundance: from “no outside food or drinks at the property” to fines for stained towels and sheets. Though there are “shhh” signs everywhere I woke up both mornings of our stay because someone was walking and talking loudly right outside our door. The room is really small close to tiny, there’s no fridge (ok, that’s the type of room without one), the safe didn’t work but the friendly and helpful staff kindly stored our valuables in theirs. The place is beautifully located and the food is ok.

This hotel is very new and somewhat inconvenient. It is high on a hill which was not very accessible by walking as major roadworks complicated the route and also slowed traffic up and down. While only 10 minutes away from the main Sabang area (climbing down), the climb up made it unpleasant and inconvenient either on foot or in a vehicle. The room was simple with limited facilities (no fridge or TV) and not competitively priced compared to other hotels in the area. Breakfast was spam and rice. The pool area was unwelcoming (exposed and bare of furniture). Service and support is pleasant but minimal. The place was empty and a little sad when we stayed (even though the town was busy). We were quite glad to leave. I think the place needs development and is a work in progress and when ready, it might be nice, but not yet.

Absolutely cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's a litte further down the sea front but tucked away from the noise while still being right on the water. The room was immaculate and spacious, cleaned everyday and (surprisingly) mosquito-free. The resaurant offers fantastic food at a great price and the whole place has a family run vibe. And it's this that I rate so highly about the place. I was solo travelling over the Christmas holiday and the ladies that run the hotel were so so welcoming and friendly.They offered for me to join their Christmas dinner and kept breakfast open to me 15-20 minutes late so I could catch the 9am dive and still eat when I came back. They were all so lovely, it didn't feel like I was alone over the festive period. If I am ever to visit PG again, I'll 100% be staying at Out of the Blue. Thank you so much fo rhaving me and for all the laughs. Michael

The hotel location is not perfect. But I liked the hotel atmosphere. The hotel is between Sabang and Palangan beach. Also you can go there by tricycle within 15 minutes (30 peso for person) or walk within 50 minutes. Also You should try the View Point restaurant near the hotel, which has amazing view. I think it would be fantastic if the hotel added breakfast, or sold alcohol, or offered small things like slippers and shampoo. I would be go to hotel if I ever come back.

This is a very cute place to stay! The staff was very friendly, the room was comfortable, and the stay overall was enjoyable. The room was generally clean, with some details overlooked (like previous guest's receipt on the floor and a few other papers around the room, one of the towels was a bit dirty). The hotel only provides a toothbrush and a toothpaste (and shampoo and shower gel in the shower), but I found the lack of a bar of soap disappointing. The location is great, the hotel is right at the beach, and easily accessible. The hotel cafe is adorable, serves good food, and the staff is friendly and polite. As for the provided breakfast, I could choose from the breakfast menu at the cafe, and coffee was served directly. Overall, I would definitely recommend this adorable hotel to anyone visiting, it's charming and worth staying in!

We feel like in Paradise 🏝 - charming competent Service, spacious clean room with view - located in the middle of the lagoon - we took several trips to different remote beaches for snorkelling - also visited the tiny personal Ponderosa Golf Club on a hill near white beach - a really relaxing time out hear
