DeyangVacation Packages - Top Attractions to Visit

Sanxingdui Museum
I didn’t expect to be so impressed, but spending a day at the Sanxingdui Museum in Deyang turned out to be one of the most memorable cultural experiences of my trip to China. From the outside, the museum looks modern and well-designed, surrounded by greenery, which already gives it a peaceful atmosphere. Once inside, everything feels spacious, organized, and thoughtfully presented. It’s easy to walk around and really take your time with each exhibit. The moment I saw the famous bronze masks, I was honestly shocked. They don’t look like anything I’ve seen before in other ancient civilizations. The large mask with the huge, protruding eyes is especially unforgettable — it almost looks futuristic, yet it’s over 3,000 years old. Standing in front of it, you can’t help but wonder who made it and what it represented. There are also beautiful gold artifacts, jade pieces, and detailed bronze statues that show how advanced this ancient Shu civilization was. What makes the visit even more interesting is the mystery. Historians still don’t fully understand why this civilization suddenly disappeared, and that sense of mystery stays with you as you walk through the halls. The lighting inside the exhibition rooms is dramatic in a good way — it really highlights the artifacts and gives the whole experience a slightly mysterious, almost magical feeling. I spent hours there without even noticing the time passing. If you’re anywhere near Sichuan province, I would definitely recommend visiting. It’s not just about seeing old objects in glass cases — it’s about connecting with a civilization that feels both ancient and strangely modern at the same time. A truly fascinating day.

Songlin Peach Blossom
Shangliyuan, located in Dishui Village, Lianshan Town, Guanghan City, boasts dozens of ancient pear trees, some two to three hundred years old. Currently in full bloom, the ancient trees are covered in gnarled, twisted branches, their blossoms as white as snow, creating a spectacular sight. Reaching Shangliyuan involves traversing Songlin Taohua Mountain in Lianshan Town. At this time, the peach blossoms are in full bloom, creating layers upon layers of pink blossoms stretching for over twenty kilometers, a breathtaking sight. Shangliyuan itself is situated atop a mountain, surrounded by dark green cypress trees, with fresh, fragrant air. Along the way, there are also many blooming peach blossoms, rapeseed flowers, and various wildflowers. Houses and courtyards are scattered along the valley, the trees ablaze with blossoms, and the lake crystal clear, creating a scene reminiscent of a secluded paradise. Stroll among the ancient pear trees and blossoms, experiencing the beauty of timeless beauty. Enjoy the scenic spring landscape of lakes and mountains along the way. Amidst the bright spring sunshine, arrive at Huayue Oil Painting Art and Gourmet B&B, nestled deep within wheat fields and rapeseed flowers. Enjoy spring delicacies amidst the fragrance of flowers and have a good night's sleep. Guanghan Huayue Homestay

Sanxingdui Museum
The Sanxingdui Museum is a very popular tourist attraction recently, located in Deyang. It's conveniently located by car from Chengdu. I haven't researched other transportation routes. When visiting Sanxingdui, I recommend joining a guided tour group; otherwise, you'll miss many of the fascinating stories and facts. The main exhibition hall has two parts. Honestly… judging from their appearance, these ancient people look like aliens… Those who prefer natural scenery might want to skip it, but those who love cultural relics and archaeology are highly recommended. 📍Address: No. 133, Xi'an Road, Guanghan City, Deyang 🚗Transportation: About 1 hour drive from Chengdu, super convenient! I must say… the appearance of these bronze masks is absolutely stunning! 🤯 👉🏻Each one looks like a product of an alien civilization 👉🏻The details are so exquisite that you'd think they were from another time 👉🏻You can't help but marvel at the wisdom of the ancient Shu people ⚠️Super important tips: 1️⃣Definitely join a guided tour group! Otherwise, you'll just be rushing through and seeing a few strange masks. 2️⃣ The venue is divided into two core exhibition areas. The new hall is impressive, but I don't recommend bringing kids to wander around. 3️⃣ I suggest avoiding holidays when it gets crowded. 🌧️ When I went, it happened to be a rainy day, which actually added to the mysterious atmosphere. The bronze masks looked even more mysterious in the dim light. 🌟 Suitable for: ✔️ History and archaeology enthusiasts ✔️ Sci-fi fans (it really looks like an alien civilization) ✔️ Those who enjoy in-depth cultural tours 🚫 Not suitable for: ❌ Those who simply want to see natural scenery ❌ Those who are in a rush and want to see everything quickly
