The hotel service is standard for a place like Salalah. Since I'm from Dubai, it's hard to compare the service there. For example, there's no valet parking, which is available at almost every hotel in Dubai. The hotel's decor is very traditional. Breakfast is also very simple, catering primarily to a Middle Eastern clientele, especially locals.

The location is slightly far from the town but it's just right beside the beach, if beach and ocean are your priority. Topnotch hospitality, especially staff from the restaurant. Breakfast was awesome, and we also ordered room service for dinner, which was equally good. Access to the aqua park was convenient with hourly shuttle bus. The aqua park itself is not huge, for adults, not much thrilling activities available and 1 hour is more than sufficient. Our room comes with jacuzzi but sea view has been blocked by the coconut tree right in front of the balcony. Request for upper floors if you prefer greater views.

Hotel is in a good location about 5/7 minutes from the airport. It’s a resort, on the 1st floor of Gardens Mall Salalah. We had issues when we arrived, the gave us a standard room while we booked king room (the staff told us, that is referring to the bed size) this should not be the title of the listing (King Room etc). We got in touch with trio who were extremely helpful, the entire team, promptly. Had this been a European company, god help us, honestly (we all know when it comes to the crunch, not majority live up to their sales pitch). We took it upon ourselves also and had a word with the manager regarding this issue, who was happy to upgrade us to a very good room. We did spend a night in the standard room but it was still a very decent room. As mentioned before we done out locally so not sure about the food, conveniently located, take the lift straight down to the mall, this has a hyper market (carrefour) and Lulu is a walk down from the Mall (walking is not an option, you can it’s a bit of a walk with no pedestrian access). Staff friendly except one lady at the desk when asked for two glass sent the smallest cups via room service (glass are for restaurant only, we were told) but another kind lady at the desk in the morning (when requested sent these over). Would we stay there again? Yes, we would but make sure you check which room you are booking. Hats off to trip.com for being there with us all the way. The beach is a taxi ride away, the picture here is from Al Haffah beach and the frankincense being sorted by workers from Bangladesh. Remember to buy your Lubaan from salalah for cheaper and better quality. Thank you to Amjad and the manager for the upgrade. Ma Salaama

Al Baleed Resort has great location with miles of unspoilt white sand beach. Eating options are limited to only 3 restaurants. The breakfast at the Salkana restaurant is extremely good with great service from all the staff. However, the dinner buffet for the Indian night was below average with some dishes that did NOT do justice to the Indian Cuisine. There is much room for improvement on food quality and taste. The Al Mina restaurant (Mediterranean Cuisine) was very disappointing in terms of vegetarian options and general service. On one occasion we had to wait 40 minutes before even the bread & olive oil were brought to the table!

Friendly staff the only bad thing I can mention got nothing to do with the hotel but is the taxi drivers who wait outside in front of the street at the hotel. If you use the otaxi app they will respond and tell you you have to pay double price. You better of renting a car or book a taxi with the otaxi app from a location nearby.

This is a perfect place to stay for 2-3 days. You can get everywhere by bus, and Google Maps shows all the routes and times. There are plenty of places to walk around, and you can even walk to the beach. However, if you're looking for a beach vacation, this isn't the spot; the beach is more for strolls. Let me tell you, if you want good service, go to Hilton. I've stayed with this chain many times in different countries, and their standards are truly excellent.

Stayed: 3 days during a first visit to discover beautiful Salalah. Overall impression: The hotel was overall less than expected compared to the pictures, which look nicer than the reality. Room: Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Service: Service was correct and professional, without being particularly notable. Breakfast: Breakfast was basic for a 4-star hotel. Instant coffee was served in the morning. When ordering coffee separately, Arabic coffee was served, which was not to my taste and was charged extra. Location: Hotel is centrally located, but taxis are still needed to move around. Overall: An acceptable stay for a first visit to Salalah, but expectations should be set accordingly.

Brilliant, they say there’s no place like home. This was more than home , it was my home away from home. Adeeb was excellent at the service he provided, fantastic customer service and excellent communication throughout. Nacim shouldn’t have been there but was an honour meeting such individuals who provided nothing but exceptional, outstanding hospitality , respectful service and run the business / shift with excellent customer service care and support. Great hotel in a new tourist area, but very clean and perfect for relaxation (except the guests of the very large neighborhoods that stole early in the morning all the rests on the beach which must be absolutely improved, But we went soon:) pleasant breakfast without too many people with the kind Nerage and the excellent chef Moataz who prepared eggs in any way always excellent! We had a nice view of the sea, but some nights the music was feeling a little high, the cloaks are not very good and even the door of the room let the noise of the general conditioning plant enter, But he was not more than so irritating to us, a special mention of the always careful and smile Rasha and Murad for gentleness and excellent cleaning.

The location is perfect. Center. Convenient logistics, whether to the airport, to the mountains, or to other popular places. If you need public transport, there are stops on the 20th and 21st nearby, if you need a car, there are plenty of rental shops nearby, the central market is 100 meters away, the Sultan Qaboos Mosque is 300 meters away, the beach is 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. I arrived around 11 am, instead of 1:30 pm, and they checked in without any problems. At first they gave me a room without a safe, I asked for one with a safe, they gave me another room, the engineer patiently taught me how to use it. The room is really big, I was tired of walking from the bed to the bathroom. Everything works - refrigerator, air conditioning, hairdryer, there is a power outlet of our type, which is important, and next to the bed, and not in the bathroom, as is usually the case in Arab countries. The bed was comfortable, there was always hot water, the bathroom had a rain shower head and a fan, it made things dry much faster. Keep in mind that in order for the maid to clean the room, you need to leave a reminder on the door handle. Bottled water was provided upon request. The breakfasts are delicious, every day there is a new hot dish: liver, pasta, Indian-style lentils, in addition to what has always been sausages, country-style potatoes, etc... Ask the chef to cook fresh scrambled eggs - it's a little show. There were always watermelons, melons, apples, bananas, as well as vegetables - tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, carrot sticks - incredibly tasty. The pool on the roof is small, but I always swam in it alone, so it was enough for me. The main thing that few people can compare with this hotel is the view from the window! The view from the window is just like a million dollars. Panoramic glazing across the entire wall is a huge advantage, the photo confirms this. It seems that you are floating in the air and cars are passing right under you, it’s a blast! Overall, I was more than satisfied with my five-day stay and grateful to all the hotel staff. Yes, I would like to recommend to all travelers the good exchanger Mustafa Sultan, on the corner of 23rd July Street, opposite the Sultan Qaboos Mosque (attaching a photo). They have a good exchange rate and no fees. In other exchangers, they will either charge you a commission, for example, at the airport the commission is 2 rials, or they will write the exchange rate on the board, for example, 0.38 per dollar, and end up exchanging it for 0.33, as they did for me in the LULU Exchange exchanger. So I know what I recommend)

Very nice hotel in ideal location. It is on the Mwasalat airport bus route. You can easily see the building from outside and there is a mosque almost opposite two minutes walk. There is a restaurant next door selling reasonable price food and bakery items. For Asian food, English tea or burgers and chips there is a very nice coffee shop if you take two rights out of the hotel. Grocery shops are within walking distance as is the Sultan Qaboos mosque. In fact if you like walking like me then it's easy to visit the beach, hafa souq, fruit market, The hotel has a nice exterior, fresh coffee in the lobby and a nice frankincense fragrance. The receptionists are polite and friendly, as are the cleaning staff. The hotel is clean and there is a laundry service too. There is disabled access outside and a lift for ease of daily use for everyone. The room was clean with bathroom and free soap and tissue paper. There was a fridge in the room and tv. Most of the rooms have windows. Mine didn't but the manager offered to swap it. I stayed as it was good for sleep and it has a mini window for light. Anyway I cannot complain as the manager was so helpful. The bed was just right for me and the linen was fresh( I didn't take a photo as my photos was all taken last minute) It was nice and clean overall and the pace of Salalah is just right for me and plenty of walking opportunities. Many Arab people stay here too. It is one of the better hotels due to the bus route and the location. I am glad I found it on this app. The price was good too

There's a Tivoli right next door which had fun rides, market, and great tasting food. The location is perfect for Salalah, close to the airport and city. The resort has a couple of years on its neck and could benefit with renewed furniture. The room was cleaned meticulously each day with new towels etc, all in all a very good experience and would recommend it.

The worst accommodation experience during my trip to Oman. There were no traditional Arabic coffee and dates for a welcoming service. The bellboy was very patient with the luggage and helped deliver it to the room. I booked a stay with breakfast, but the front desk didn't inform me about the restaurant. I was almost overcharged for breakfast. The service was terrible, and the variety of food was limited. I felt the salad area was unclean. These are mistakes even a two-star hotel wouldn't make. The most bizarre thing was a four-star hotel making customers share tables due to limited seating. After overbooking breakfast, the customer experience was significantly downgraded! I do not recommend staying here. If it weren't for the cheap price, I definitely wouldn't have chosen this place. It's a labeled four-star hotel. It has a good design, and the facilities are decent. Generally, service in Salalah is just average. The room was clean and tidy, and the design was functional. However, the soundproofing was poor. Around 11 PM, the guests upstairs kept moving furniture around.

I was very happy with staying at this hotel. I planned to stay one night, but I liked it so much in the hotel that I extended it for another day. The worst accommodation experience during my trip to Oman. There were no traditional Arabic coffee and dates for a welcoming service. The bellboy was very patient with the luggage and helped deliver it to the room. I booked a stay with breakfast, but the front desk didn't inform me about the restaurant. I was almost overcharged for breakfast. The service was terrible, and the variety of food was limited. I felt the salad area was unclean. These are mistakes even a two-star hotel wouldn't make. The most bizarre thing was a four-star hotel making customers share tables due to limited seating. After overbooking breakfast, the customer experience was significantly downgraded! I do not recommend staying here. If it weren't for the cheap price, I definitely wouldn't have chosen this place. It's a labeled four-star hotel. It has a good design, and the facilities are decent. Generally, service in Salalah is just average. The room was clean and tidy, and the design was functional. However, the soundproofing was poor. Around 11 PM, the guests upstairs kept moving furniture around.

Hotel is in a good location about 5/7 minutes from the airport. It’s a resort, on the 1st floor of Gardens Mall Salalah. We had issues when we arrived, the gave us a standard room while we booked king room (the staff told us, that is referring to the bed size) this should not be the title of the listing (King Room etc). We got in touch with trio who were extremely helpful, the entire team, promptly. Had this been a European company, god help us, honestly (we all know when it comes to the crunch, not majority live up to their sales pitch). We took it upon ourselves also and had a word with the manager regarding this issue, who was happy to upgrade us to a very good room. We did spend a night in the standard room but it was still a very decent room. As mentioned before we done out locally so not sure about the food, conveniently located, take the lift straight down to the mall, this has a hyper market (carrefour) and Lulu is a walk down from the Mall (walking is not an option, you can it’s a bit of a walk with no pedestrian access). Staff friendly except one lady at the desk when asked for two glass sent the smallest cups via room service (glass are for restaurant only, we were told) but another kind lady at the desk in the morning (when requested sent these over). Would we stay there again? Yes, we would but make sure you check which room you are booking. Hats off to trip.com for being there with us all the way. The beach is a taxi ride away, the picture here is from Al Haffah beach and the frankincense being sorted by workers from Bangladesh. Remember to buy your Lubaan from salalah for cheaper and better quality. Thank you to Amjad and the manager for the upgrade. Ma Salaama

The room was clean, also environment was really relaxing. I gotta highlight the employees of hotel. Like Emon, Ann, Sameh and so on. Those people was made this trip perfectly. Also if you like Peking duck, you have to try Silk Road restaurant roast duck. Is much cheaper than Dubai and tastes so so good. Thanks for everyone.

The hotel service is standard for a place like Salalah. Since I'm from Dubai, it's hard to compare the service there. For example, there's no valet parking, which is available at almost every hotel in Dubai. The hotel's decor is very traditional. Breakfast is also very simple, catering primarily to a Middle Eastern clientele, especially locals.

Brilliant, they say there’s no place like home. This was more than home , it was my home away from home. Adeeb was excellent at the service he provided, fantastic customer service and excellent communication throughout. Nacim shouldn’t have been there but was an honour meeting such individuals who provided nothing but exceptional, outstanding hospitality , respectful service and run the business / shift with excellent customer service care and support. Will definitely recommend this hotel, an extraordinary team and overall 10/10 for customer service care, support , security and fantastic hospitality, facilities and communication throughout my stay. Friendly staff the only bad thing I can mention got nothing to do with the hotel but is the taxi drivers who wait outside in front of the street at the hotel. If you use the otaxi app they will respond and tell you you have to pay double price. You better of renting a car or book a taxi with the otaxi app from a location nearby.

The location is slightly far from the town but it's just right beside the beach, if beach and ocean are your priority. Topnotch hospitality, especially staff from the restaurant. Breakfast was awesome, and we also ordered room service for dinner, which was equally good. Access to the aqua park was convenient with hourly shuttle bus. The aqua park itself is not huge, for adults, not much thrilling activities available and 1 hour is more than sufficient. Our room comes with jacuzzi but sea view has been blocked by the coconut tree right in front of the balcony. Request for upper floors if you prefer greater views.
