We looooved that hotel. The architecture is really nice and modern. Not always practical, but that didn't really bother us. We loved the infinity pool which has a perfect lenght for swimming too.
The location was perfect for us: Being in a super nice hotel surrounded by the jungle but in just a few minutes scooter ride (10-15 minutes) at hot spots, like Secret Beach, Zen Beach, Thongsala etc.
The team was really nice and friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Restaurant was good and reasonably priced. From$61

Overall the hotel was nice but in several point not what we expected: We booked a „villa with sea view“. There was no sea view at the villa that was assigned to us. You couldn’t see the sea neither from within the villa nor from the pool nor from the sun beds nor from the outside bath tub. The only way to see a glimpse of the sea was to stand up on a certain spot on the terrace. That’s not what we expected from a room advertised as „with sea view“ and the (trip.com) booking page also suggested otherwise. When we complained, we got assigned another villa where we could see the sea partly. Thank you for that. However, the manager told us that the photos from the booking page were in fact another villa. But it's not my responsibility to make sure that the photos and pictures provided on booking pages are correct. The hotel has to take care of that! This holds also true for the next issue: The gym was closed due to renovation. In the booking process, they advertised a huge fitness center with lots of machines. Now it’s shut down and we did not get any information about this. The „mini gym“, which does not even have at least one multi exercise machine, is nothing but a bad joke and no replacement at all for a proper gym! Again the staff told us they would inform about this on their website. When I checked that, I still found the photos of the large gym on their own website. It was just called ”mini gym”. But how am I supposed to know what they mean by that and that the provided photos are no longer correct??

Breakfast category is not particularly rich, but enough. Very quiet and beautiful place, the staff is enthusiastic but not overly disturbing, the room is large, the insects are in place, the ecology is good, but no small animals will appear. The invincible sunset can be enjoyed without leaving home. Free canoes are provided. The hotel's shallow water is not deep and the waves are calm. Will choose to stay again next time!From$256

Grab a coffee, this could take a while. Bed sheets were filthy and smelt like an old dogs bed. TV was an old tube type that couldn’t get channels (although brochure said flat screen with cable) The toilet was constantly blocked. In 7 nights (our length of stay) our room was cleaned once. So no drinking water. No toilet roll. No fresh towels. Our booking consisted of breakfast, but once was enough, only had half of what we requested and the staff were rude, so we ate in a bar up the road instead. The electric kept going off so no air con. They did agree to fix it but not until the following day! No hot water. Then we discovered the new villas behind the bar area, which is what we had in fact booked. We insisted we be moved which the staff agreed to, begrudgingly!! We get to our new room where there was in fact a flat screen TV but no aerial so unless you have your own subscriptions you are stuck with sky news! Bed smelt better but we woke up to an army of ants!! Location is perfect. That is the only positive I can give!! Extremely disappointed! I travel for a month around Asia every year, this is our 4th hotel this year and by far the worst I have ever stayed in. That includes the others I’ve stayed in over the years!! Booking.com should take some responsibility for misleading information!!!From$42

There are not many varieties of breakfast, but the quality is good. Hotel service is very good. Suitable for people who like quiet people, Koh Phangan is really quiet, and there are very few people in China. Anantara always pays attention to eating, must go to the restaurant on the second floor of the hall, their home ingredients are really very good, and the price is reasonable. It is worth living. Alternatively, the hotel has free kayaking to play. Oh, yes, it may be that the ecological environment in Koh Phangan is so good that there are often lizards.From$378

Super Resort directly on the beach with a pre-stop island (I recommend only watershoes or something like that because the transition is very stone/coral), rushing large pool with water kitchens/air mattresses, delightful and varied breakfast (there was something different every day and was greatly decorated)
If you want to leave the hotel beach and the 3 surrounding restaurants, you should absolutely rent a roller. Here you should note that a piece away from the hotel is quite hollowly driving (fieldway with many gaps), but have still got it :)From$72

The room smelt of urine. Rooms and hotel seemed dated and therefore difficult to feel that they are very clean also. The pool was nice but not enough sun beds and then sun beds they did have were extremely uncomfortable. Great location for the beach however it is quite far from Thong Sala which seemed to be where everything was. Restaurant was lovely decor and had a great feel to it albeit a bit pricey. I came to stay at Sunrise resort 1st time in June and recently a few day ago. I have to say that I am very happy with Sunrise Resort...lots better than I expected. Start from the location..which is right on Had Rin white sand beach. Good location for full moon party and of course very peacfull before and after. You can easy go down to the beach early in the morning to watch the sunrise and at night to see the moon and enjoy nice cool sea air with your favorite drinks. My room was nice& clean. i got my room on the 2nd floor both time....good ocean view and swimming pool. All staff from the restaurant / front desk /and beach bar are very friendly . All the boys and Pee Kul at the beach front bar are very joyfull. Pizza and cheese burger is the best ...Thai manu also good. Breakfast was good...I got chicken fried rice every morning...and of course you can chose another manu. Location of the resort is easy walk from Had Rin pier when you arrive the island. Around resort you can find lots of restaurants and lots of shops and lots of things to enjoy. There's also a few motorbike rental shops.. you can go places around Koh Pang Ngan easy . will definitely come back and stay again here.From$34

Lovely little resort with a private beach, great for a couple's vacation. We stayed in a pool view room - considered beach view but considering you're right on the water, no need! Staff was so friendly and lovely, from the front desk to the restaurant staff. The part of the island that Buri Rasa is on is rather remote -- not like the southern and western parts, where there's more of a little town with more food options -- so I would recommend this area largely for beach lounging and relaxing, rather than a more active vacation. (It's not hard to get to other parts of the island via taxi [or scooter, but we didn't try that] but time-consuming and not super cheap.)From$96

Fantastic value for money for accommodation right on the beach. Each individual 'bungalow' is no more than 100m from the beach and they are all angled to give privacy from the rest of the hotel guests. Beach is stunning with good levels of privacy, and the sea is lovely. If you don't fancy swimming in the sea then there is also a swimming pool right on the beach. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the room was comfortable and the location was excellent, with the centre of town being only a 10-minute stroll away. If you are interested in hiring mopeds then the staff at the hotel have a contact that we used (cheap prices, ฿150 a day). Would definitely return!From$35

This was the best hotel I stayed in Koh Phangan. Bryan in reception is AMAZING. This man deserves a raise. He really went above and beyond to help me get back a pair of shoes I left in a taxi.
All of the staff was wonderful, especially the hard-working guys in the restaurant. Koko greeted me each morning at breakfast with my coconut coffee.
I had the best massage and facial at the spa with Lin. I’ve been dreaming about it ever since I left!
I stayed in the beachfront villa which was perfect. I loved being able to walk straight out the door (climbing over the rocks) and into the sea. Watching the sunset each night was beautiful.
It’s an easy walk to shops and restaurants nearby if you don’t rent a scooter. This section of beach is very peaceful.

Hotel itself is on a beautiful beach and the resort and rooms are very nice. However, the management and service was the worst I experienced on a 4 month trip to Thailand. Example #1: We negotiated a private van with the manager of the hotel for a fixed price. Then, the morning of the trip, we asked whether it would be an issue if two additional people joined us. The management did not respond. We then asked other questions, to which the management did respond. Then, when we went to get on the van later that day, the manager said the price would be approximately 30% more, and that we had to ”take it or leave it.” We obviously should have been notified of the significant increase in price earlier, as we could have arranged for alternate transportation. Ultimately, the management agreed to a price between what was originally quoted and the high price, but it took another 15-20 minutes of significant haggling and complaining, none of which should have happened. Example #2: Our friend staying at the hotel at the same time as us had negotiated a weekly rate. When she asked for a room cleaning, the management then said it would be another 200 THB per cleaning. Our friend agreed to that, and the staff came by and only swept the floor. She asked for the bed sheets to also be changed, and the management said it would be another 50 THB! Seriously, don't do business with these people! Also, note that check out is at 11 AM, not 12 PM. We asked for a late checkout after getting last-minute notice of this and were initially denied, but again after a lot of haggling were able to squeeze this out of them, even though the hotel was largely empty during covid and there was virtually no chance that our rooms were booked. After these incidents, we purposefully did not eat breakfast at the hotel the morning of our check out because none of us wanted to give another dollar to the owner of this hotel.From$51

We stayed beginning of August in a Garden room with terrace. Apart from the Full Moon Party days, it is a very friendly and relaxed hotel with a touch of simple class. Chilled out beach setting with sunbeds, chairs and beanbags. Not too far from Haad Rin but also far enough... Rooms are a good size, clean, bright, cool and with a good selection of bathroom items, fresh water and a stocked minibar (not too expensive). Living in the opposite Koh Samui every time I come to Pakan Island, I will stay in the hotel almost 10 times. The hotel on this island is basically this style. Small but this hotel environment is really beautiful. There is a bar in the yard. The sea view is so beautiful. It is also a restaurant. The best and cheapest waiter in the same hotel is very kind. We landed too late and there was already no boat to Koh Phangan (last boat leaves at 16.30) so we had to check in one day later and even if that was our fault not being able to get to the island , the lady in reception told us they have upgraded our room for Deluxe for free. So that was lovely surprise and it just kept carry on. The room had a bath on balcony , another bath and shower . All clean and very comfortable ! The restaurant area is just stunning ! The best sea view and the most romantic sunsets from here and I’m not even talking about the food - just amazing and tasty. The staff were speaking very good English and were more than helpful. This hotels location is perfect. The views from the restaurant over the shoreline are amazing. Also had a good ocean view from the bungalow I stayed in. The service was good and the staff are very friendly and helpful with any questions you might have about things to do or places to go on the island. They also have scooter rental at the hotel which is great. I'd recommend renting one from them because there's a bit of an uphill walk to the hotel from the main street close to the hotel. Stayed here for 3 days, think it's family run lodge. The hotel room key was really a key, a big one. The door creaked when opening but overall the room was nice, amenities was good. When requested for a kettle, the kind old lady provided me very fast....very nice. Pity did not make use of the swimming pool as it was hot for 2 of the days there. A short walk to a food court nearby, Thongsala Square (where the race start)...and the Walking Street where they had a nice night bazaar on Saturday, pity it rained halfway. Also a short walk to Phantip Market area. But definitely need taxi to the site of Full Moon Party lol Yes, also had a lot of tour agencies just outside the hotel. And laundry services, I did mine at a cheap 80 baht...and it came back ironed and with a nice fragance ...Highly recommended. Bungalows are very basic but cozy. A few meters from the beach, you can listen to the sound of the waves from bed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The best was the lovely staff of the bar-restaurant. They made our experience the best we could expect being very nice and friendly. We loved the experience. Shame that the choppy sea brings a lot of plastic to this lovely beach which however was kept the cleanest possible by some visitors and staff. Highly recommended if you’re looking for relax (if you want to party or going to the full moon party, bear in mind this beach is quite isolated, book a place where you can get to with taxis at any time of the days).From$17

Positives first. Accommodation is quite good - convenient location, basic but comfortable room. 2 bottles of water a day and fresh towels. Not so good - staff don’t always clean the room (and refresh the towels and daily water), even when you leave the sign on the door requesting them to clean it. My stay was utterly soured, though, by a bad experience on the last night/check out. During the night, the air conditioner, which is hung very high in the wall (almost at the ceiling, strangely), started leaking badly. Water damaged some of my belongings, including electronic cables, and soaked my clothes, which I had to have washed elsewhere to remove the damp smell. I didn’t complain, though, as these things happen and, until this point, I was really happy with everything, so it wasn’t worth causing an issue over. However, when I was walking to the bathroom holding my room key, which has two plastic tags on it, I slipped in a puddle of water from the air conditioner. I smashed my back on the floor and, luckily, broke my fall with my hand which was holding the key. Part of the plastic broke but the key was still in perfect working order and the plastic bits were only particularly chipped. I went downstairs to mention this and I was told it was fine. When checking out an hour or so later, the staff attempted to withhold 650B of my 1,000 deposit to penalise me for the small bit of damage to a piece of plastic. I was honestly gobsmacked! I mentioned that I had (a) fallen purely due to a huge puddle of water caused by their malfunctioning air conditioner, (b) damaged my back in the process, (c) had some of my belongings soiled with dirty air conditioner water and (d) broken a bit of the plastic off the key fob while falling due to a fault in the room. I had to stand my ground over being fined for an accident that was, to all intents, caused by faulty equipment. THEIR faulty equipment. Eventually, they took 300B from me. I didn’t have time to argue as I had a ferry to catch. But I made it clear that I was absolutely furious to be charged for a piece of plastic that would cost 50B maximum to replace. Long story short: an APPALLING experience but the place itself is fine, if slightly overpriced.From$29

Have your own beach and the pool is not big. The location of the hotel is too good to go, basically there is nothing to go around. If the hotel rents a car to the dock is 1,200 yuan, I did not use them to call the car, and wait for the rental of the guest to come back to me, 300 baht. Don't try it easily when you rent a motorbike. You have to increase the price directly after getting on the bus. You have to give it. The situation of renting passengers in Koh Phangan is quite serious. The hotel restaurant is not expensive, 60 grams of iced coffee.From$29

This place has maybe had a facelift recently as the new block of accommodation is really lovely and great value. We stayed in the fan only room which were gone for us and a bargain at 700 Bt per night. The A/C rooms in the next block were more luxurious and had a fridge and TV and were also good value for the area. The pool is great - one of the biggest and best on the beach. There's no restaurant but this really didn't bother us as there's so many places to choose from ( our favourites being the 2C bar up the steep hill with views over the bay and the food court in the village which serves great value, super fresh food with decent portions all served with a smile). Many reviews complaining about the unfriendly staff and issues with extra charges - maybe this was a thing of the past because we had no issues at all. The rooms were cleaned every day and the place was kept really nicely. Highly recommended. From$23

The house gave me a very good impression. It felt cool when I entered the first day. The space on the first floor was open, and the glass in front of it was glass, revealing the clear pool and the sea in the distance. My family and I have a pleasant experience here. The location of the house is not too good, there is no shop nearby, but we rented a motorcycle when we went out. It is convenient to have a car. So this is not enough. A beautiful resort with spacious comfy living space, big bedroom with such a comfy bed and a modern clean bathroom all opening up into the plunge pool. Sun lounges and a nice seating area outside the room. It was a fantastic stay. The staff are absolutely lovely and so helpful, they kindly picked us up and dropped us back at the ferry pier. We also rented a motorbike through them which was easy and worked out cheaper than anywhere else. This has by far been my favourite place I’ve stayed in Thailand. Right on the beach as well! However, two notes must be made:
Just 1 towel per person is really little. I have long hair and when I got out of the shower I didn't have another towel to tie it up. Unfortunately I forgot my bathrobe at home so I had to use the one at the pool. I asked for a second one but the following day it wasn't given back to me and having been told that they only give 1, I didn't ask again but it was really inconvenient. Also they will only replace 1 towel per guest and not the other. Having a wet towel the next day is not good, it has never happened to me.
The pool was in a terrible state when we arrived. The water was green, dirty and disgusting. We waited to see if anyone would clean but the following day still nothing. We reported this to reception, they gave a semi-clean but it still wasn't in order. On the third day we finally managed to use it but out of 4 days, 2 we only looked at it and it's not good. There is the sea but given the presence of lethal cube jellyfish in the rainy season, I don't risk my life and I prefer the swimming pool since the only protection nets against jellyfish are in Haad Rin.
There is no wine shop as in the photo but given the island we understood why.
If we had had the chance to speak to the owner we would have said everything in person but maybe that will be for another time because it is a fabulous place and we will definitely be back!
Breakfast was not bad but little choice for vegans.

Chilled out beach setting with sunbeds, chairs and beanbags. Not too far from Haad Rin but also far enough... Rooms are a good size, clean, bright, cool and with a good selection of bathroom items, fresh water and a stocked minibar (not too expensive). The restaurant is good with a lot of choice and the best breakfast we've had in Thailand so far. We had a BBQ night and a film night while we were there - nice bonuses.

A huge suite with a big wooden dividing door to separate the lounge and bedroom area. You could have a family of 4 in here (but we'll come onto that!). Every tiny detail around this resort is stylish and cool. We absolutely loved every aspect of our room/suite. All the staff were lovely, smiley and helpful (confused by some reviews on here to the contrary). My GF's Mai Tai was one of the best she's ever had. We've both travelled the world extensively both with work/holidays and we both agree that it's one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in as it perfectly suits are needs and the attention paid to detail/design was wonderful. Without question we would return here if it were an adult only resort. However, we have to admit that there are a few too many toddlers running around/screaming in the pool for our liking! We absolutely know this isn't the hotels fault. We travelled in August, so I guess it's the school holidays. We can also see that the room facilities work brilliantly for families too. If it were adult only, we'd be back next year! There's a free shuttle to the town every hour, which is brilliant AND they'll come and pick you up if you WhatsApp them for a crazy small fee. Congratulations to all for creating a memorable few days for us.

|8.05km from city centerHotel itself is on a beautiful beach and the resort and rooms are very nice. However, the management and service was the worst I experienced on a 4 month trip to Thailand. Example #1: We negotiated a private van with the manager of the hotel for a fixed price. Then, the morning of the trip, we asked whether it would be an issue if two additional people joined us. The management did not respond. We then asked other questions, to which the management did respond. Then, when we went to get on the van later that day, the manager said the price would be approximately 30% more, and that we had to ”take it or leave it.” We obviously should have been notified of the significant increase in price earlier, as we could have arranged for alternate transportation. Ultimately, the management agreed to a price between what was originally quoted and the high price, but it took another 15-20 minutes of significant haggling and complaining, none of which should have happened. Example #2: Our friend staying at the hotel at the same time as us had negotiated a weekly rate. When she asked for a room cleaning, the management then said it would be another 200 THB per cleaning. Our friend agreed to that, and the staff came by and only swept the floor. She asked for the bed sheets to also be changed, and the management said it would be another 50 THB! Seriously, don't do business with these people! Also, note that check out is at 11 AM, not 12 PM. We asked for a late checkout after getting last-minute notice of this and were initially denied, but again after a lot of haggling were able to squeeze this out of them, even though the hotel was largely empty during covid and there was virtually no chance that our rooms were booked. After these incidents, we purposefully did not eat breakfast at the hotel the morning of our check out because none of us wanted to give another dollar to the owner of this hotel.

The location was perfect for us: Being in a super nice hotel surrounded by the jungle but in just a few minutes scooter ride (10-15 minutes) at hot spots, like Secret Beach, Zen Beach, Thongsala etc.

|7.08km from city centerTo begin whit I have to point out what’s good whit Amara. The location is excellent and the breakfast is very good, so is the food in the restaurant as well. Now when we booked there was only one room available which was “The ocean View room”, and it was really expensive. We paid 2700€ for 16 days. To begin whit, it’s limited ocean view, a big roof blocks most of the view, but that was not the major problem. For us the problem started the first night when we arrived. The room is situated just over the restaurant and on Thursdays, which was the day we arrived, they attended an big Russian party whit 70 drunk Russians and some guy shouting in a microphone, which makes it impossible to sleep. And to make things worse another restaurant, Cocco Locco is next to our bedroom and they have dj’s playing some nights and the other they just play loud music until 02 in the morning. When we booked this room it said nothing on the description that there could be a lot of disturbance from close by restaurant until late at night. I pointed out our problems and asked for a refund and was willing to lose some money in order to move on and find a place where we could sleep better. But the owner would only offer us 600€ back which was an insult. They offered us a voucher for the restaurant for 30€ as an excuse, but that wasn’t any help for lack of sleep. I’m sure the “manager” will wright here that they did everything to help us and offers us to switch room, which isn’t true. I asked if that was possible and they should look in to if any one was interested in switch rooms. So that was no initiative from there side. Overall it was really sad it turned out this was because the staff is really nice, expect “the manager” and I’m sure you will have an better experience if you book a room further back at the resort. If you come here to sleep early, don’t book the “Ocean View” room. Would I go back, no. Would I recommend it to others, sure. Food, location and most of the staff is great.

TV was an old tube type that couldn’t get channels (although brochure said flat screen with cable) The toilet was constantly blocked. In 7 nights (our length of stay) our room was cleaned once. So no drinking water. No toilet roll. No fresh towels. Our booking consisted of breakfast, but once was enough, only had half of what we requested and the staff were rude, so we ate in a bar up the road instead. The electric kept going off so no air con. They did agree to fix it but not until the following day! No hot water. Then we discovered the new villas behind the bar area, which is what we had in fact booked. We insisted we be moved which the staff agreed to, begrudgingly!! We get to our new room where there was in fact a flat screen TV but no aerial so unless you have your own subscriptions you are stuck with sky news! Bed smelt better but we woke up to an army of ants!! Location is perfect. That is the only positive I can give!! Extremely disappointed! I travel for a month around Asia every year, this is our 4th hotel this year and by far the worst I have ever stayed in. That includes the others I’ve stayed in over the years!! Booking.com should take some responsibility for misleading information!!!

|3.19km from city centerAfter spending a wonderful month in another resort I spent my 3 last nights on the island in the First villa. 3 nights = 3 five cm disgusting cockroaches in the room. One coming out of my shower bag. They don't put any spray against them. The first two days there was no hot water. The receptionist was bold and unpleasant . The food was sometimes mediocre and sometimes good, but the dishes were very small. So often I ended up ordering twice the same dishes to fill satiated. The bungalows are old. the window screens were filthy. There is no good insulation between the bungalows so you hear EVERYTHING going on next door. There is no staff in the evening from around 20:30 till I think 8:30 so for example the electricity went down in my room - which means no AC - and there was no one around to help me with it. They did give me tiny piece of paper when I arrived with the phone number of one of the staff, but who could remember where they put it when they just arrive with their suitcases and who could find it in the dark. The wifi was very weak and did not work well in the common areas so I was advised to work from my room - which is not why I went to Thailand. I would not go back to this place.

There is a bird's song around during the day. There are small animals calling around at night, which is a bit noisy. Not sleeping well. There is a stretch of shore that stretches into the sea. The sunset is particularly beautiful at the seaside. There are not many people in the hotel. They are all Europeans and Americans. We also made an appointment for a SPA. Buy one get one free. The price is appropriate. Unfortunately, I only stayed for one month at night. It will take a few more days, along the sea to the left, there are promenades and pavilions, and a lot of hammocks and chairs, the photos are particularly romantic.

|7.1km from city centerFrom our first email exchange to the good bye early in the morning, Apple was fantastic. She made our stay so comfortable that I would return to Long Bay without hesitation. The beach is secluded, quiet and calm. The bungalows are honest to the photos and 3 stars. Kept very clean and tidy, room cleaning was offered too. The pool was very clean also. Overall a lovely spot with a fantastic customer service. Thumbs up for the driver who drove us around the island always with a smile on his face. Great way to support local business during difficult times with very few tourists.

Suitable for people who like quiet people, Koh Phangan is really quiet, and there are very few people in China. Anantara always pays attention to eating, must go to the restaurant on the second floor of the hall, their home ingredients are really very good, and the price is reasonable. It is worth living. Alternatively, the hotel has free kayaking to play. Oh, yes, it may be that the ecological environment in Koh Phangan is so good that there are often lizards.

|4.31km from city centerI don’t know where to begin….very small room and bathroom but that didn’t bother us as long as it’s clean wich wasn’t ☹️ the sheet where stained and yellow, same thing with the pillows and the towels where yellow stained and one of them had a hole in it 😆 they didnt give us sope and said that they don’t do that ( first hotel from 5 that we did in thailand that don’t give you sope)… they forgot everyday to give us water until we ask for…the outside was nice… the beach low tide until around 20h so you can’t swim all day…the pool was small and with plenty leaves but that’s ok because of the trees all around but the yellow stains everywhere in the pool was dirty (the pool is covered with paper not paving so you can imagine the yellow stains all over the white plastic cover) and on top of that they don’t have a water recyclying system i guess that’s why it taste weird… the end was not that good also 😩😩 the manager booked us a taxi with 200 bath and the taxis all over drove us with 150 bath… and the driver was with no surprise her father !! She also booked us a ferry to koh samui and unfortunately we missed it by one minute (they are verry ponctual) and when we were on the pier they told us the hotel will refund you and book another in a few hours so we rented a bike and went there and the manager said we wont refund you !! And you should know that every desk of the ferry company does refund so what was the problem !!…. In general it was a horrible experience in august 2023 !! Don’t go there Try rung arun resort because we stayed there for one night it was very clean smells very good and a big room with even a microwave and a private balcony with a kind of garden in front you feel alone in your own space ＜3 … we regretted that we didn’t stay there :( and it’s cheaper 😅😅 supid decision ever :(

|7.91km from city centerSuper Resort directly on the beach with a pre-stop island (I recommend only watershoes or something like that because the transition is very stone/coral), rushing large pool with water kitchens/air mattresses, delightful and varied breakfast (there was something different every day and was greatly decorated)
If you want to leave the hotel beach and the 3 surrounding restaurants, you should absolutely rent a roller. Here you should note that a piece away from the hotel is quite hollowly driving (fieldway with many gaps), but have still got it :)

|3.2km from city centerLiving in the opposite Koh Samui every time I come to Pakan Island, I will stay in the hotel almost 10 times. The hotel on this island is basically this style. Small but this hotel environment is really beautiful. There is a bar in the yard. The sea view is so beautiful. It is also a restaurant. The best and cheapest waiter in the same hotel is very kind. Every time we come, we live in this two-bedroom and one-living house. It is very convenient to bring children. You can also cook by yourself. Look at the photos.

|6.89km from city centerI've given 4 stars as I feel the resort could benefit from a little upgrade here & there and because of the endless number of steps! We booked a sea view room, it was down, I don't know how many steps, uneven, rocky steps, then up, then down!! Nowhere mentioned the steps, not the website or bookings.com. it really should be highlighted. If you have any issue with steps, you will struggle. I appreciate it is on a cliff, I assumed the room would be at the top, not the bottom!! The room had a big balcony, table and chairs, lovely view. The room was a good size, but it was quite dated. The bathroom was more a wet room with a hand-held shower head. It should be better for the price. I also feel the room is the wrong way round! The view from the bed overlooks another room, yet the view from the dressing table overlooks the sea!! The bar / restaurant is very good. We enjoyed some lovely cocktails! We ate twice for dinner, the first night was lovely but unfortunately the last night was not as good. I think management wasn't around that night. Breakfast was fantastic and amazingly, served until 5 pm!! Cheese & Bacon Croissants...!!! Big choice, big portions!! Breakfast ends at 5 pm. Happy Hour starts at 5 pm!! The staff are all very, very friendly, helpful and just lovely!! The swimming pool is very nice too. The swim up bar wasn't open, which was a shame. On the whole, we very much enjoyed our stay. It's a nice relaxing hotel, walking distance to other restaurants and secret beach is a 7 minute walk away - up & down a mega hill!

The room was very nice and clean, Wi-Fi router was present inside the room, the speed was great too. Utopia on Phangan is strait up legendary, you will not be disappointed. Make sure you ask every question to the staff, they will help you with any problem, I’ve never seen such dedication. One of the best places to get familiar with the island, as it’s quite and has everything you need.

The resort is a few meter from the beach, motorbike rentals and a 7-11 not very far. In the resort itself you’ll find everything you need, nice restaurant (thai and western food), cafe, swimming pool, gym with daily classes or events such as movie or karaoke nights !

They we do hospitable and went out of their way to ensure we had what we needed and were enjoying our stay. Lovely relaxed vibe, beautiful beach and lovely large rooms and patios. The restaurant is on the beach with lovely lanterns and candles and amazing food. Drinks and food very well priced for a hotel. Not too many other restaurant choices in walking distance. One should definitely take a walk up the steep hill to the restaurant with the look out views. Awesome spot. Really enjoyed our stay and want to thank the staff immensely for their hospitality.

Very quiet and beautiful place, the staff is enthusiastic but not overly disturbing, the room is large, the insects are in place, the ecology is good, but no small animals will appear. The invincible sunset can be enjoyed without leaving home. Free canoes are provided. The hotel's shallow water is not deep and the waves are calm. Will choose to stay again next time!

|8.48km from city centerOne of the best decisions during Koh Samui-Koh Phangan-Bangkok trip was to choose Tommy Resort just beside the sea on the Haad Rin beach of Koh Phangan. Certainly the best attraction is watching sun-rise from the resort. It’s a family run establishment around lush green surroundings and hard working and always helpful smiling staff. We will remember Suthee and Jabb for their support. It has a two-story building and several cottages and in between a large, beautiful and well-maintained swimming pool. They serve buffet breakfast with a range of items from fresh fruits to bread to rice and several Thai curries. Fruit juice and tea/coffee are also there. Beachfront restaurant serves excellent Thai food at a reasonable price. People who love swimming will definitely enjoy Haad Rin and avail that opportunity by staying at the Tommy Resort. Also, people who like to enjoy and make fun during the Full moon party should go and stay there though that was a few days after our stay there. Travelers can take service from their tour desk. Suthee helped us in taking a day-long trip around Koh-Phagan and Jab helped us in booking a ferry ticket to go back to Koh Samui. It is worth mentioning that they have pick-up and drop service from and to ferry stations which are known as ‘pier’ in Thailand. We were truly happy to have that complementary service.

|3.1km from city centerThis was the best hotel I stayed in Koh Phangan. Bryan in reception is AMAZING. This man deserves a raise. He really went above and beyond to help me get back a pair of shoes I left in a taxi.
All of the staff was wonderful, especially the hard-working guys in the restaurant. Koko greeted me each morning at breakfast with my coconut coffee.
I had the best massage and facial at the spa with Lin. I’ve been dreaming about it ever since I left!
I stayed in the beachfront villa which was perfect. I loved being able to walk straight out the door (climbing over the rocks) and into the sea. Watching the sunset each night was beautiful.
It’s an easy walk to shops and restaurants nearby if you don’t rent a scooter. This section of beach is very peaceful.
I’m looking forward to staying here again!
