Our stay at Aman Yangyun was an unforgettable experience for our family.
We arrived at the hotel by taxi from the airport, but we encountered a problem as we couldn’t complete the payment due to issues with our Alipay setup. The hotel staff quickly stepped in, escorting us to the lobby and taking care of the payment on our behalf. Moreover, since the taxi driver had charged us an unreasonably high amount, the staff even negotiated a reduction for us. Their swift and thoughtful actions gave us a great sense of relief.
While every aspect of our stay was exceptional, the following experiences left a particularly lasting impression:
1. **Calligraphy Workshop with the Kids**
We participated in a calligraphy session as a family, where we learned the techniques of writing and created beautiful pieces under the guidance of the instructor.
2. **Cycling Adventures**
We rented bikes and explored the vast forest adjacent to the hotel. The cycling experience was incredibly refreshing and rejuvenating.
3. **New Year’s Fireworks**
At midnight on New Year’s Eve, a spectacular fireworks display lit up the sky. The sheer volume of fireworks was astonishing—far beyond what you’d expect from a single hotel. It was a truly satisfying experience, and we could tell that a great deal of effort and expense had gone into the celebration.
4. **Peaceful Landscape with Wildlife**
The hotel grounds were home to deer, black swans, and a beautiful river, creating a serene and idyllic landscape that was both calming and delightful.
This stay will remain a cherished memory for our family.

Luxurious hotel that makes you forget you're in a big city like Shanghai, the staff were always available and extremely helpful in fixing any issues we faced.
You can rent a bicycle and ride in the beautiful park area.
The hotel has 3 restaurants of 3 cuisines, the food we tried was delicious
There are also a lot of activities you could join at the hotel.
This hotel is definitely recommended for honeymoon couples

Room: The room was spotlessly clean and well-designed, featuring an incredibly comfortable, soft bed. Evian mineral water was provided, and there was no limescale on the showerhead. Overall, it was excellent.
My only minor complaint was that the curtains weren't completely light-proof, allowing some light to seep in from the top. For comparison, many hotels in Hong Kong use electric blackout blinds that offer perfect light sealing, which would be a fantastic enhancement here.
Service: Good.
Breakfast: We opted for in-room dining. While it was an improvement compared to what I've experienced in Beijing, it was still only average.
I really liked the color of the luggage tag, especially since it came with my name engraved.

Service: The service was excellent. We were celebrating a birthday, and the hotel staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They kindly extended our check-out time until 2 PM and even assisted with our luggage. During turndown service, we also received a complimentary toiletries set and luggage tags.
Hotel Facilities: The facilities are very new.
Cleanliness: The bathtubs were disinfected.
Overall, I was extremely satisfied with this stay and would definitely come back again.

This hotel offers outstanding service! I've stayed in many luxury boutique hotels, many of which are known for their service. But Capella felt a cut above the rest. You feel like when you need something, you don't even have to speak – a glance, a hesitant expression, and someone immediately comes to assist. When you don't need anything, you won't feel disturbed at all. Every staff member at the hotel prioritizes solving customer needs and is extremely knowledgeable about the property; there are no new hires here. Any question you ask receives an immediate, detailed answer, no matter how specific. If you have any requests, they can immediately offer the best solution, making communication incredibly easy. The hotel itself is a renovated Shikumen (traditional Shanghai stone-gate house), with each room being a private unit with its own courtyard and terrace. Crucially, the surrounding neighborhood is super quiet, making for a wonderfully comfortable sleep. The breakfast is very generous, with an unlimited à la carte menu, and they even serve mini versions of the top-selling baguette and croissant from their famous bakery. The chef also comes out to greet guests.

This five-story, old-style house has a common area on each floor: a living room, guest bathroom, cinema, bedroom, bathroom, and a small outdoor balcony. Breakfast is available in the French restaurant or in the guest room, with the French restaurant offering a slightly wider selection of à la carte dishes. Afternoon tea is served in the library, and the complimentary minibar is refillable daily. They also offer a sachet making service. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was much better than expected. We had previously contacted them about a pregnant woman staying there, and upon arrival, they saw a maternity pillow on the bed, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, everything met my expectations and I would stay again.
