|5.61km from city centerThe location is good! It is just beside Aeon Shopping mall, and lots of restaurants nearby! The hotel staffs are friendly. Got 6 carpark lots in front of hotel but in first come first serve basis. This is a hotel for the one who is looking for a basic requirement with not so expensive fee charges. Highly recommend!

|0.75km from city centerI would have given it another star had the walls been thicker. The room was clean and decent. It’s good for a solo traveller to rest for a night or two. However the walls are thin. Hence I was rudely awaken when the phone in the neighbouring room rang at 3am! I have taken off another star because they charge RM20 per hour for early check-in. The check-in time was 2pm. My room was ready at 12noon but the receptionist insisted that I pay extra RM40 for the 2 hours. I find this ridiculous!

|5.85km from city centerI will always stay in this hotel whenever travelling to Johore Bahru. The room rate is quite economical and no changes for the past few years. The room facility has improved even the room rate remain unchanged. i have discovered that the hotel room already been put a refrigerator and the bathroom also has a glass to segregate the shower area when I stay there recently. As for hotel exterior, they have installed a mini fountain to beautify the area. Overall, satisfy to stay at this hotel.

|6.03km from city centerDecently priced and sized room for the price. Room comes with window but it faced some kind of cooking class opposite. Table and chairs look like they were meant for outdoors. Room smells a bit dinghy, possibly from smoking.
Would come again.

|5.94km from city centerI am a little shock, didn't expect this hotel over outstanding room size. huge lobby and spacious room with simple facilities but fair price, very clean and very comfortable bed with super nice pillow make sure you sleep well. The room also very quite with nice lighting, quite bright. simple shower room. don't be surprise with the hot corridor when walking to the room, but once you are inside should be fine a lots of restaurants of local foods and western, and few nights life and safe area we walk to Renaissance Hotel at 11PM and found one sea food restaurant for enjoy ours Saturday night. |0.86km from city centerthe room was nice, the cleaness is average . As when I'm arrived the room still not yet finish. but it's okay I just wait for 10minutes.
Else overall ok, quite and I ask non smoking room. So it's fine for me. The air-conditioning works just fine. Water heater also in good condition. Just the space of room, a little bit concerned. As I don't like the space that is narrow. Another room space I think just fine. Just this time I got this one. Actually it's my third time staying there. In future will stay there again definitely.

|3.33km from city centerThe sanitation and convenience are good, but the Chinese restaurant is a bit inconvenient. This is the Malay area. It is not a big problem to go to business for two days and one night. There is a Chinese restaurant in about 15 minutes by car.

|1.17km from city centerI walked into the cheap 2 star hotel like any other ordinary day, hoping for an ordinary early night sleep. At the reception counter, I stood to wait for the receptionist to realise I was there. Finally, she looked up, and recognised me. She smiled. I said, wondering to myself what else I might be doing there, that I am checking in, while handing her my identity card. She said, with a big smile as if trying to be sweet, ”Again?” I couldn't help myself. ”Well, I didn't come here to see you!” She sort of laughed at my comment. I think she tried to figure out whether she should be embarrassed or not. I just wanted her to give me my room key. She spent a good few minutes tapping into the keyboard, checking against my identity card. As each minute passed, I thought I should be getting closer to getting my room card. I needed the toilet, quite soon. She offered me a room with no window. I asked whether I could get a room with a window. She then offered me a room with a single bed. I asked if I could get a room with a double bed. Then she said the rooms with double beds are all taken. I said, fine, I'll have the room with the window then. She said those are also all taken. This is when I began to think this must be an ordinary day. Because this is an ordinary conversation. Because ordinary conversations involve ordinary people and ordinary people are just stup*d. She then said the room rate will be some amount. I said fine. I really needed to use the toilet to let go of my ordinary sh*t, by then. She then realised I had already booked online for a room and she had just wasted the last 15 minutes looking for a room that was already allocated to me. There was absolutely no need to look for a double bed, windowed or unwindowed room. Someone else had already done the job. She's not an ugly girl. Big eyes, sharp chin, small frame, an average height. But her makeup was so thick she must have applied them with a rather big paintbrush or a mini-roller. You could easily tell she was hiding some bad skin and that she aspires to be whiter than humanly possible. I am sure makeup comes in many colours but surely milky white is not one of them? Or maybe 'Curd and Whey'. Or, dried up plaster of paris? What do I know. I got my room key. She fiddled with the credit card machine but it's so ordinarily dull, my mind had turned off by then. It had had enough of trying to observe the insipidly mundane. Either that, or it was having a mini-seizure induced by the dullness of this clumsy, unprepared, caked-face, long haired girl, who clearly preferred to be somewhere else fixing her long nails. I felt sad for her though. As she must have felt sad for me too. Here I am, in a certified two-star hotel, alone in a strange city, late at night, eager to go straight into my room to take a big smelly dump. And there she was, struggling to do a simple task at a simple job, hoping that someone decent would marry her soon, clearly for her looks and

|0.91km from city centerThis is a really nice hotel a distance away from JB Town, it's around a 20 to 30min drive depending on traffic. The room was nice and clean, the aircon was cold the no issue with the hot water. I stayed in the deluxe room which had a nice deep bathtub. a big issue is that the bathtub also served as the shower area, hence the floor was pretty wet. The bed was ok, the pillows felt old, but the bed was comfortable. lightings were good, and the room was bright enough at night, but the curtains didn't keep all of the lights out during the day. Bottle water was given in the room, plus there is a water filter at the lobby and in the breakfast area. the main issue with the stay was the Wi-Fi, it needed a long time and a few tries before it connected, and once it connected, it will last for around an hour before it gets disconnected (most likely an issue with the IP lease time, and the DHCP server not being able to cope with the amount of request), the internet does work and speed is fine, but it is unreliable, especially if you plan to work in the hotel. Location-wise, Food, and groceries are also really easy to procure, with multiple options just a stone's throw away, and even more choices down the road, there is a Today shopping center with a supermarket, a dollar store, and a DIY store, along with hairdressers, mobile phone and a simple cinema. The is a Lotus Hypermarket which is a little further if you can't find what you need there. Since it's out of town, there really isn't a huge shopping center, there is a mydin, kipmall and aeon not too far away. Breakfast was average, the food wasn't that fresh since we only got to it around 9 am. Some items that were finished were not replenished. The lack of black tea (you might want to bring the tea bag from the room) was also quiet, but I think this is due to the Muslim fasting period. Since it was included for us, we just ate, I wouldn't have bothered otherwise, there are too many better options around.

|1.07km from city centerThis is my third stay here in 3 months. Strategically located for all travellers' needs (restaurants, convenience stores, supermarkets, ATMs, petrol stations, etc). All amenities are within walking distance. Rooms are clean, staff are very friendly and helpful, parking ample and safe. I purposely choose a hotel away from JB city center to avoid traffic congestion and parking issues. But JB is still near (less than 20 minutes away) if I needed to visit. But if you wish to stay here, choose room with a window. You pay slightly more but not by much.
