1919 Upper Water Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
"Hotel location is very good to walk 10 minutes to the harbour pier. Breakfast is buffet. The fully equipped harbour has a beautiful view. The car parked in the underground garage for a fee. There is a farmer’s market near the hotel and breakfast can be eaten at the market."
"The Marriott Hotel hardware does not say, the location is also good, facing the sea, and close to the city center, the main attractions can be walked. Parking is charged separately. There is a Cows ice cream shop next to the hotel."
"Great dining! Walking by the sea is very good"

1725 Market Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
"This hotel is in a great location but we didn’t really explore due to the recent Covid outbreak in the downtown core with restaurants/bars. We chose to relax in the pool a couple of times and had it all to ourselves- thanks to Covid protocol. Our room was small but very clean and the beds were very comfortable... only complaint was that they put us in a room right by a very loud ice machine and right beside the elevators so we could hear everything happening in the hallway at all hours and that made for a night of interrupted sleep, especially with a child. The hotel was not full so I’m confused as to why they would put anyone in those rooms! These rooms should be a last resort and only used if the hotel is fully booked."
"This was our anniversary trip, first visit to Downtown Halifax and we made the right choice to stay at Prince George. The hotel although it seemed old but it was well maintained, our room was really clean, sheets and pillows smelled fresh. Had fun in the pool and the breakfast was perfect! The staff at check in was warm friendly and helpful, she was happy to have us!"
"The Prince George has undergone some decorating upgrades and conveniences since my last stay. Very nice and tasteful. This hotel is a great location for accessing most downtown areas by walking.Staff were helpful to book taxis and giving directions when asked."

"Stayed at this hotel in September for my son's birthday party. It was the 2nd time we stayed here. We live in Halifax but we love hotel staycations. There were 4 of us adults and 5 kids including my son. Ages ranged from 8 to 10. We had booked 3 rooms. Rooms were very clean, spacious and big! It had everything we needed! From cutlery, dishes, freezer for the ice-cream cake, nice big fridge to keep cold drinks etc. The t.v has Netflix and everything else on it for the kids to enjoy watching movies and listen to music. The pool was a major hit! Nice size pool and water slide was a blast for the adults and kids! The hotel staff were very friendly and accomadating. Breakast in the morning was excellent and everything ran very smooth. Went down to pick up bagels, eggs, juice and sausages, cereal etc in the morning. Very friendly, fast and efficient service. My son and his friends had a blast! We will continue to stay at this hotel for all of our staycations. Very affordable! And I will continue to recommend this hotel to everyone! Thanks for the great time ! Lisa"
"This was a great new find for us. It's been many years since we stayed at a Residence Inn but we definitely will make it a new choice. The check in was quick, easy and friendly. They upgraded us to a one bedroom suite which was unexpected. The room was exceptionally clean. The kitchen was very well equipped with most of what you would need to have a light meal in the room. Wifi was great and best of all, we couldn't hear the air conditioner/heater. Breakfast offered both hot and cold choices (served, not buffet at this time). Plenty of parking. Many restaurants and shopping were within walking distance. Great spot over all and we were very pleased."
"What a great hotel. From the moment you walk in you can tell there is a sense of pride from the staff working there. The front desk staff were pleasant and welcoming. The room was clean, bright and very spacious. The kitchen was well equipped, dishwasher, blender, full fridge and freezer with an ice tray. The kids used the bigger than average pool and a separate water slide which they loved. The breakfast in the morning was plenty full with lots of hot and cold options. If you haven’t stayed here I would highly recommend it. Great hotel in a great location. Next time your looking for a hotel in HRM, do yourself a favour and book a room here."

"Had a lovely quiet room on the 7th floor. It was everything we hoped for. Great price, clean, fairly new hotel. We went there for a 3 night getaway and did lots of Christmas shopping at Dartmouth Crossing. The view from the room was very nice. The staff were great! There is a Starbucks on the main floor, Keurigs in the room, and many restaurants close by. Covid rules were strictly followed with masks, cleaning, only 2 people allowed in the elevators per trip, etc. We would definitely recommend staying there. "
"Went for a shopping trip with sisters and cousins and stayed at the residence inn Dartmouth and enjoyed our 5 star experience so much I booked a night with my husband.I requested a certain room and thanks to Micayla did get that. This Hotel has more than anybody could ever want.Wonderful rooms, large pool, hot tub, excerise room and cannot forget the amazing breakfast but the staff especially Micayla cannot be topped anywhere. We cannot wait till we can go back.Thank you Courtyard residence Inn."
"Check in was quick and seamless. Up to the room to find it well appointed, contemporary and incredibly comfortable. Beautiful big bathroom with stand up showers. Fantastic stay, thanks to Rick Norman/Jason Brown and their incredible team! the lobby gorgeous with a cafe and cool furniture - not what you would expect from a select service hotel. Plus.....Location Location!!"

1791 Saint Margaret's Bay Road, Timberlea, Nova Scotia, Canada
"I needed a place to stay for one night, close to St Margaret’s Bay so I could attend a meeting early the next morning. This was one of the few I could find. It was easy to find, but on a busy street. The room was everything you could ask for. Clean, tidy and well appointed. There was a small breakfast nook with mini fridge and microwave. A small LCD TV with cable service was available, as well as fast Internet service. The back window looked onto a lovely lake. Road noise died off after 10:00pm. The only problems for me were a VERY firm bed and stifling heat. The room had n floor heating that wouldn’t stop! The thermostat was set to as low as possible and I kept front and rear windows open all night, but it was still too hot. Other than the heat, it was a pleasant stay. Recommended."
"We were enroute around NS and found this on Trip Advisor. We were not dissappointed, very spacious, clean and with a kitchenette. It is not far from Halifax and much cheaper! The manager could have been a bit more friendly?"
"You can’t beat this nice little motel for the money, it’s about 15 mins from Halifax but quite and clean, it’s on a small lake and the rooms have a nice view, restaurants Tim’s and drug store across the road"

"I stayed at this lovely boutique hotel for 10 nights while I was attending to Conducting Symposiums in Halifax. Everything was wonderful. My first encounter was with Kyle at the desk. He helped me with my bags; discussed where things were around town; and later even got me aquainted with the bus system which I used every day of my stay. The Hotel is perfectly situated near three universities and is in easy walking distances to fine dining as well as casual restaurants and even fast food places. There is are two supermarkets as well as several convenience stores nearby as well. The room was comfortable, adequately furnished, very clean and quiet. The bathroom was equipped with the typical toiletries that you find in other larger hotels and there was also a hairdryer, an iron and an ironing board. There are clean laundry facilities on the lower level, although I did not make use of them. There were two computers available in the lounge on the second floor. Breakfast was continental style with different choices almost daily. Coffee was great and there was an assortment of fruit juices, yogurt, cereals pastries, muffins, etc. This hotel was a bargain compared to others around Halifax. I highly recommend it and would stay there again if I return."
"A nice Victorian House with nice staff, good breakfast and many historic areas within walking distance! Room fairly spacious for a historic Victorian house. Good continental breakfast much more than a pastry and coffee! Friendly and very helpful staff. If driving, make sure to ask when calling, to park in their lot it’s an extra charge but then you won’t need to park on the street. Enjoy! "
"So we arrived at 3 pm for check in. The hostess allowed us in and got us settled. She seemed a little unwelcoming at first... but she does warm up to the guests. The young fellow that also worked was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It was close to restaurants and the mall. We also learned how to take the bus to the harbour area... easily! The room was average. However, it served our purpose. No help with bags... The breakfast was basic but it did the trick. There was access to evening coffee and tea. I meet some very friends guests at this stay!"

"After 18 hours of driving from Toronto, it was comforting to sleep in a comfortable and clean bedroom. Check in and out was fast, no issues. Young Lady at the front desk was great. Basic breakfast is good, lunch room was crowded but everyone was in good spirits and we kept the flow going. Enough towels for everyone, good shower, lots of hot water. Access to the Hwy is easy and fast, we were dowtown Halifax in 7 minutes."
"I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times. I just wanted a clean room, with a clean bed and that is what I got. I needed a place to sleep and this was fine. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was simple, but good enough for me. Nothing fancy, but again, clean and simple."
"Another great stay at this location. Good basic hotel for what we have to do in the area. Close to the new bridge. It's location is great for visiting other parts of the area. We had an upstairs room this time. Stairs not a major problem for my wife who has some mobility issues. No trouble with internet connection. Will stay again next time up. Nice plentiful breakfast."
