This hotel is amazing! However, one particular employee, Robin Sterling Estrada, goes out of her way to make it feel like home away from home! She keeps the food area clean and well presented! In all of our travels, we have never had a better breakfast buffet with such an interesting variety of items. Robin takes pride in what she does and what she does is done with the warmest smile! She greets everyone and engages with everyone as if she is part of the family. I don't believe that anyone is a stranger to her. I took my daughter to Provo to attend a program and after I flew home, Robin was kind enough to check in on her and make her feel loved! We only knew each other for a few hours when she kindly offered to do this1 Robin is definitely an asset to the Marriot organization but more importantly to the guests!

I usually don’t write reviews but this stay exceeded my expectations. We had brought a small dog and they were friendly about it. He could go anywhere in the hotel with us. The pool was great for the kids. I was very appreciative for the outdoor fire pit and how it faces the mountains. A group of us were able to sit around it and were comfortable in the cool night weather. Breakfast was really good with a lot of choices. Two more things that set this apart was that late in the evening I needed a cup of milk for my grandson, and the front desk went and got one for me. That was so kind. The other was the cleanliness of the rooms and how the kitchens were stocked. Will definitely stay again.

Decent breakfast, the omelette was really good one morning and there was always cooked food, pastries, fruit hams cheeses, there’s a waffle machine, rice puddings, cold drinks etc so I would say that is probably the best part Staff were friendly, they had This Works toiletries, it’s a convenient location with pretty interior but it felt like things weren’t quite right… It was so loud i didn’t have a peaceful nights sleep, as a family we had 3 rooms and they all commented on the air con system noise so I didn’t realise my room was louder until my brother was in my room to watch a film on the last evening, it came from the kitchen and was really disruptive even with ear plugs The lights were so dim I kept 5 lamps on and bathroom lights Room service was delicious but an hour after we ordered we rang down to see how long it would be then received it within the next 10 minutes so think they forgot about us (was only a quesadilla and pasta which is why we called when it had been an hour) The pool isn’t heated so the hot tub is great to jump straight in to after! But there aren’t changing rooms so you can either walk from the gym toilets into the pool area next door or get changed in pool area (rather than a changing room with a door into the pool as I would expect) I want to rate more but it almost feels like they focus on bigger things forgetting the basics? I wouldn’t normally stay somewhere this nice, it’s over double the price I regularly pay for hotels in England so I did expect more My Mum also expected dressing gowns so was a bit disappointed Tips for non US guests, the iron cord extends out of the bottom, follow the instructions on the coffee pack (no kettle) and you’ll need a room key when checking out to get out the car park

The hotel was clean and very nice. The only negative we had was the parking garage. We had a rental SUV and the turns in the parking garage are very very tight. This was surprising for me for an area that has so many trucks and SUVs. We damaged our rental in this parking garage resulting in extra payment to our rental company. Be aware if you have a large vehicle. There were a lot of scrapes on the walls and curbs of this garage.

I have stayed at this Springhill Suites multiple times over the last four years. Pre COVID the rooms were cleaned daily, hot breakfast (decent assortment), WiFi, etc. I stayed twice during covid, but I knew they were not cleaning rooms or serving breakfast. Now I feel like the owner is taking too many cost cutting measures to the detriment of the traveler. A lot of hotels have gone back to cleaning rooms and serving hot breakfast. The rooms are not cleaned unless requested. Breakfast is some boxed cereal, pre-packaged quiche or some sort of bagel with what looks like an egg and a piece of cheese and yogurt. If you run out of anything in your room you either have to call and request it or walk down to the front desk. I quit making coffee in the room, instead I walked down and got some out from the breakfast area. Need new towels, you have to go and get them. These all seem menial. but you start to notice these type of items and realize what you are paying stayed the same but the ”extras” are not there. The ice maker on the second floor was not working. The door to the pool wasn't working. Even the TV remotes are horrible, you literally have to press the buttons 3-4 times to change the channel or volume. I didn't even bother signing into Netflix the remote is trash. I have no idea what has happened to the WiFi, maybe it was our room, but the WiFi is terrible. It would cut in and out all of the time and the speed is terrible. Next time I am in Provo I will find a different hotel.

What a disappointment following a recent very nice experience at Springhill Suites in San Diego. The Springhill Suites in Provo is an older property that needs maintenance work. The staff is also not as pleasant and nice to deal with as the staff at the San Diego hotel. A smile and a caring attitude can do wonders to the guest experience and general feeling that their business is appreciated. Although our room is very similar to what we had in San Diego it was smaller than what we had before. The hallways and lobby area also seemed very tired and in need of some TLC. Breakfast is a joke. We were down for breakfast about an hour after breakfast service started. There really is no breakfast – no hot dishes except for 2 pieces of waffle that were wrapped in cellophane and kept in the warming tray. There was no bread for toasting, no pastries or muffins of any sort. There was also very little fresh fruit. I heard one guest comment that the orange juice looked like it had curdled. We ended up going to a bakery delicatessen across from their parking lot for breakfast as did a few other hotel guests. We would definitely not stay again as it is very poor value for the money. The property needs to have some maintenance work done and the staff should be hospitality employees.

We stayed in this hotel with our two small dogs while on a road trip. I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but the hotel far exceeded my expectations for the price point. I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff at arrival. We stayed in a king suite and our room was was modern and the furnishings were updated. Both of us were impressed with what we got for our money. Out back was a large, well manicured grassy area for pets and patio furniture with a grill for guest use. The property backs up to the river, and there is a nice paved path to walk on. The hotel was extremely quiet as well. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to others.

In almost every corner of the hotel people were gathered together enjoying being with friends and family. This included the pool, the dining area, the fire pit and out by the picnic tables. The unit was spacious and very comfortable. The type of place you could really enjoy if you needed to be in Provo for several days. Unfortunately we were there for only one night.

The hot water in the bathroom was not hot enough on the first night but they fixed it quickly. Great service. The snack bar is convenient.

We had so many conflicting experiences with this hotel... We stayed here about 6 years ago and it was great. This time, mostly disappointing. We stayed here for a week - this time not for a wedding, but for a funeral. Check-in was fine and the room seemed good... until we raised the toilet lid and discovered that it had not been cleaned and in fact, was coated with what looked like the previous guest's diarrhea. We were exhausted from our drive, so didn't ask for it to be cleaned until the following morning (I know... gross). When I went to ask the front desk to have housekeeping clean it, the front desk person said ”I don't clean toilets”... as if I was asking HER to go up and clean the toilet. I responded ”ummm you look like a front desk person... maybe ask housekeeping to clean it??” Also that morning, our room started to smell like diesel exhaust. The source was some dude outside (we were on the 2nd floor) our window, letting his huge, backed in truck idle for at least 30 minutes, while the exhaust was pointed at the building. We were leaving at that point and hoped that the room would air out by the time we returned (which it did). While the guy's truck was idling, I noticed the hotel manager standing there for about 15 minutes, chatting with the guy (this fact will come up later). When we returned that evening the toilet had been scrubbed thoroughly, thank goodness. Next morning, once again, the room filled up with diesel exhaust from the truck parked below our window. My husband decided to go talk to the front desk about it. He talked to the manager, who basically treated him like he was delusional... that there is no truck idling below our window. When we left, I pointed out the manager and asked my husband if that was the person he had talked to about the truck, to which my husband replied ”yes”. I then told him ”that guy was talking (standing next the the truck while it idled) to the truck owner yesterday for at least 15 minutes... he knows that the truck was sitting there, pouring exhaust towards the building”. So basically, the manager lied to my husband. The hotel wasn't automatically sending housekeeping in to clean stay-over rooms, citing Covid as their reason. (you could get your room cleaned if you asked). I understand this, but if you're going to cite Covid to not do something that you normally do, maybe ask your staff to wear masks? During the entire week we were there, we saw only one staff member wearing a mask. Now for the good stuff: the breakfast staff was great. Very friendly and diligent to keep the area clean and stocked. The lobby was kept clean (even with some snow being tracked in) and tidy at all times. The hotel is very conveniently located by the I-15 and yes, the state liquor store. I had misplaced a necklace and thought that maybe I had left it in the room. When my husband called to ask if someone could go look for it, the front desk person was very helpful and kind, going up to the room

This is a large hotel south of Provo, right on I-25. The lobby and breakfast area are large and accommodating, and the room, beds, and bathroom were clean and comfy. Breakfast was plentiful (yogurt varieties, lots of bananas and — strangely — little mandarin oranges, and the usual IHG egg flips-and-sausage fare). We had almost no interaction with the staff, which seemed competent. This is a great location if you want to explore Provo, Brigham Young University, and the Wasatch Range below the big Utah cities. Overall, the hotel is just fine but not remarkable.

Good location, very close to Utah Lake. The rooms are clean and tidy, especially in the rooms facing the snowy mountains. There are several snow-capped mountains and the scenery is very good. Breakfast is quite rich.

I like it very quiet, close to the university.
