"The hotel is very good. I gave it five stars. The room showed the view of the inner bay. It was all yachts. Wow, it was a pleasant surprise. Meimei took pictures. It was very close to the bay and the seaside. Taking pictures for hours."
"There is a big shopping center near the hotel, it is close to the sea, the surrounding landscape is pretty good, the hotel facilities are better, the rooms are spacious, and the living is very comfortable."
"Breakfast is a typical English breakfast, and the family room for 3 people is suitable for children. The hotel is only a short walk away to see the beautiful bay, which can be far away from the beach at low tide."

"I do appreciate that the weather just lately has been extreme and a waterfront hotel may have (as the member of staff who gaffa taped our window up to prevent the sub freezing wind getting into our room put it) "taken a battering" but... I didn't really appreciate a FREEZING cold room. After spending half an hour trying to get the heating to work (and, yes, following the instructions in the leaflet) I conceded defeat and tried to report the defect to reception. Twenty minutes of continuous ringing later I got through to someone who was not surprised to hear my room was freezing cold and the heating didn't work and said she'd send her colleague Nathan up "because he's much better at this than me" Nathan came to my room equipped with a roll of gaffa tape to sort the window - which he said just needed replacing as they all do in the hotel but they haven't got round to it - and a superior knowledge than me on how to operate the heating (I hoped). After trying all the things I had tried and climbing in the roof of the room to find the "switch that turns the heating on" finally a dribble of warm air started to seep into the room. Temporarily. Nathan's advice was to leave it for a few hours as if it hadn't been used much (!) then it might take a while to come through. Well, it was so cold I had to leave the room. On my return 4 hours later the room was a tad warmer but the bathroom was an iceberg. Not that it mattered that much as I really didn't have much confidence in showering in a shower that contained black mould... All in all, rather disappointing and nobody around when I checked out to discuss the concerns with. Would strongly suggest that if you visit this hotel you take extra layers or go only in the height of summer - although you may not be able to open the taped up windows then!"
"Stayed here for 5 nights at between 27th July -1st Aug with my wife and 6 year old son. Great location for exploring Gower and the surrounding area. Rooms were standard Premier Inn, clean and comfortable. Car Parks are privately owned and cost £6.20 for 24 hours which we though very reasonable. Easy access to Tesco Express, Sainsbury's and Bars and Restaurants along the Waterfront. This was our 3rd visit to this hotel and we would recommend to anyone and will definitely be stopping there again."
"We visited during storm Dennis weekend and it was actually an enjoyable stay Swansea was quite shielded from the weather and hotel and rooms was delightful, a young blonde receptionist was amazing she went above and beyond for us even made up an extra bed with 5 minutes notice. Only thing to watch is the parking they are tough on it and it’s not owned by premier inn but some cowboy clampers be very very careful they take photos of every vehicle in there for “data purposes”. "Stayed one night, I feel good, and the price is good. It is about 15 minutes away from the railway station and bus terminal, which is very convenient. The front desk staff is nice and can also store luggage"

"Having dropped our youngest off in Wales to start Uni, we made the most of a late hot weekend and stayed in Wales a second night. We found the pub ok, with parking out the front. We spent the afternoon walking into Porthcawl, which isn't far and enjoying the afternoon wandering the sea front and cliffs. There isn't much in town to interest us, but the scenery is lovely and under a mile to watch the sun set over the Bristol Channel. There is a green out the front which was used on our side by drinkers from this pub and directly opposite, another pub doing similar. On seeing the two large groups, our initial thought was inter pub fight or dance off!! Good natured crowds from both sides and good atmosphere. The room we had (9) was nice, over looking the carpark and green. It was compact, but not small. The bed had a lovely firm mattress (my preference) and a good nights sleep. Even with the groups outside talking, once we shut the windows, we couldn't hear them. We ate here Sunday night and had good, hot food with friendly staff and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good, though as previously mentioned, the bacon slightly crispy, though in a good portion, so not stuffed or still hungry. My only negative was it could've done with a quick lick of paint and the sealant in the shower replacing/grout scrubbing. It a minor thing, but makes a balanced review. That said, I spent most of our stay in the bar or fast asleep in the dark, so didn't worry about it. Would re visit and stay again."
"Stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We had a friendly welcome and our room (no 9) was spotless and very tastefully decorated with a large ensuite and big spacious shower. We were overlooking the village green. Our bed was comfy, the toiletries were a high standard, there was ample ts, coffee, biscuits and bottled water. We felt cosy and at home. Throughout our stay all the staff were both friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was cooked to order with a wide menu and good quality ingredients. We enjoyed a delicous meal with family on Saturday night. The location is ideal. The immediate area feels rural but we were able to easily walk into Porthcawl. Highly recommend. Thank you!"
"The R&C is our local pub/restaurant and we’ve visited many times over the years but in 2020 it has definitely been our go to because I feel strongly that the staff are taking Covid seriously and the restrictions in place make eating out as normal as possible. Without exception every meal we’ve had this year has been spot on and no complaints from any of us despite a couple of our group been picky eaters. The pub doesn’t lack atmosphere despite the spacing of tables etc and of course the earlier closing time. I’ve eaten here 3 times in the last 2 weeks so that says it all really. Thank you R&C and your great team for letting us all enjoy some great food and normality in these strange times. "

"The hotel is just next to the railway station, great location. The service is good as well. The room is clean and warm. However, WiFi is very very slow. The location is very good, just outside the train station, about 500 meters from the city center. The service staff responded quickly, but the internet speed was very slow."
"Close to the train station, the total is OK"
"Unique geographical location"

"We stayed here last year in the french room, gorgeous room and no complaints that’s why we returned. Breakfast however, was very basic and unorganised.we ate at the Indian restaurant and found it was not as award winning as the hotel make out. So on this stay we decided to skip the restaurant. This time we stayed in the Moroccan room. For £160 a night, you’d expect better. The room colours give the room a “tacky” feel, very out dated, cheap, old furniture, flaky paint everywhere, old extension leads trailed around the room, snagged satin bedding, dirty lamp at side of bed, cobwebs on light fittings, a chocolate foil wrapper on floor near bed, dusty appliances, no toilet roll holder, just placed on the floor. Had to climb into jacuzzi to fill kettle. Grubby, stained carpet (didn’t take my socks off!) Stains on the “tacky”sewn together satin unlined curtains. bathroom tiles are absolutely beautiful and would definitely stand out after a good clean. Paint on walls flaking off in bathroom, sink unit water damaged and scruffy. Light switches dirty, didn’t want to touch them.Robe loop was broken. Pillows hard and old. After finally falling asleep,I was awoken early by the staff downstairs setting up for breakfast, dragging, what sounded like chairs or tables across floors. Went to breakfast (which was better this time) to a hair on my plate (unfortunately i had left my phone in the room to capture that one!) On checkout I was left waiting for around 10 mins for the receptionist to return to the desk, she finally arrived smelling of smoke. Overall, having stayed here twice, would not return or recommend. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else. Looking at the previous reviews, they had the same complaints in 2016 so On reflection,I wish I’d looked on here first before wasting my money."
"I love going hear it is just a lovely place to go I love going hear just to relax .It has a lovely Indian restaurant to it is not to far to go to the shops to and go down to Brigid end there is a lovely Italian restaurant to u can go to the beach to .but if depends on wot time of your u go u might need ur Wesley if you go walking "
"The Manor is very beautiful and the staff very friendly. I was surprised how spacious the room and bathroom were, everything looked clean and well presented. Me and my partner also visited the restaurant and the food was really nice, I would definitely come back again!"

"Two friends and I stayed here last Sunday night after attending a function in nearby Resolven. We arrived at approx 11.45 PM. The man on reception was extremely efficient and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and the tea and coffee making facilities in the room were great. Great showers and plenty of fluffy towels. In the morning we had a super breakfast with everything that was required served by a very efficient waitress. Thank you all."
"Totally excellent hotel and service excellent food looking forward to our next visit and the location and good all round value for money the room and the location all excellent completely enjoyed the experience "
"A great option when you have young children, breakfast is often free for 2 children with each paying adult. Very comfortable night sleep this time and every time we use Premier Inn. Friendly and helpful staff."

"Very beautiful location with lots of history, the hotel is charming and oozes character. The room However was not what I was expecting. I expected a beautiful period room but was met with an ultra modern room with mirrored furniture. This was not a bad thing, but there were no light switches by the bed, nor sockets to charge your phone. The TV was so mall It needed binoculars to see it! I tried the Restaurant and the food was beautifully presented but portions tiny. However the chef made me a beautiful fish and chips which was delicious. Talented chef but if you want a good hearty meal this restaurant is not for you. Staff were superb throughout the stay. Only downside to the room however was it was freezing and the radiator was only tepid! Beautiful place though."
"We had a gift voucher for afternoon tea there recently, and from entering the resturant to leaving it, everything was with excellent service. The food was very nice and together with tea or coffee, plus on top of that, a bottle of water we enjoyed it. Rhe people there serving were always making sure everything was good and they made you feel welcome and very special. We have decided to go back when our relatives come down so that we can show them what good food and service really is. THAN YOU TO ALL THE STAFF."
"Food and service was excellent, menu was special for the night, couldn't fault a thing and some nice touches with champagne, Hors d’oeuvres and chocolates gratis. Will be visiting again. The lamb and sirloin in particular for main course were outstanding. "
