The location of this ibis is very good, very close to Leipzig Station, there is a large shopping mall at the intersection, the hotel itself is very new, the decoration is young, the room is not big, the equipment in the room is also standard ibis style, although the German water can be drunk directly, But there is no kettle for me who is used to drinking hot water in winter. The room looks very clean, but the layer of clothes is gray, and the carpet is not very clean. In Europe, unless the budget is very abundant, if you live in a normal hotel, you must bring your own toiletries and slippers. Although not very satisfied, but in the budget and location conditions, it is still a choice.

Have been guests repeatedly and never disappointed. The hotel is small and cozy, the staff super. Be it phoned, at reception or at breakfast, you feel welcome. Super breakfast, of everything you need to start in the day is always widely available and is filled. Continue so! We always like to come back.

Due to a cancelled flixbus, we arrived at the Hyperion Hotel at 1 am dead tired to leave the next morning early. The checking in process was sluggish and the hospitality of the guy that helped us was not so kind. Finally we got the room but Immediately after we arrived in the room we got a message from flixbus that the bus would leave in 10 minutes. We immediately rushed back downstairs and the receptionist who had checked us in 10 minutes earlier. He assured us that no money would be deducted and he would send me a confirmation via e-mail - which I did not receive. Now, almost a month later, I see that the amount has been debited anyway. Since I thought there should be a mistake, I e-mailed for clarification. After several calls and emails I finally I got someone on the phone telling me that the bed was ”used” and they could therefore not resale the room that night. This simply is a lie, there was no time at all to use the bed. After several attempts to get in contact now the manager offered us a 50% refund. What a sad policy, where I should pay for the false promises of this hotel. This kind of business is ruining a nice city like Leipzig. Making profits on the backs of poor students, if that is really your business idea then you deserve to get an honest review: I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is in the center, one stop from the railway station, next to the city hall, the surrounding architectural style is very characteristic

Wir haben für einen Konzertbesuch ein Wochenende in Leipzig verbracht und uns in der Villa wohl gefühlt. Am Wochende ist kein Personal da. D.h. Self-Service. Was am meisten stört, ist das aggressive Verhalten mancher Polizisten. Direkt danebenen befindet sich das amerikanische Konsulat. Der Eingang der Villa vor der Wache. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist gehoben und war dem Preis angemessen. Sie sind geräumig und nicht überladen. Wir haben gerne von zimmerhohen Fenstern umgeben, auf einem Kuhfell stehenden, bequemen Ledersesseln an dem kleinen stylischen Glastischchen unseren selbstgekochten Frühstückstee als auch unseren selbstmitgebrachten Wein genossen. Auch das Bad hatte einen dem Preis kompatible Ausstattung. Die einzige Klieinigkeit, die der/die InnenarchitektIn vergessen hatte, ist, dass es zum Rasieren auch Licht von der Seite braucht. Von der Architektur her ist das Gebäude selbst nicht modern sondern in normaler Bauweise ausgeführt. Wir haben insgesamt unseren Aufenthalt genossen, würden die Villa aber nicht nochmal buchen.

In my business I see a lot of hotels, and I get to compare various properties within the same family. The Marriott in Leipzig deserves to be singled out for multiple reasons. First, the hotel makes it a point to recognize I'm coming and to treat me like they're happy to see me when I arrive. The location in the city center is one of the most picturesque I've seen, with multiple things to see and do within walking distance. One of the most spectacular train stations in Europe is right across the street! There are multiple restaurants and street venders scattered around the city center area, but if you don't want to leave the building the breakfast this hotel puts on is the best of any place I go.

Although partial, the hotel is very warm

The hotel room is modernly furnished. I personally missed a small refrigerator and a coffee/tea maker on the rooms. The spa area is very beautiful although the pool water is quite cold. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Cleanness is also good. However, personally, I have scared the extremely used feeding service. Such a feeding service to the guest is far from the management. This needs to be urgently amended.
