For general information - The resort is famous as an onsen (2!) destination, with an attached convention center. All the spacious rooms overlook the ocean, golf course and pine forests. There are tons of restaurants with many different cuisines to choose from. The amenities are very well maintained, the wifi is fast and stable, and housekeeping service is provided with courtesy and quality. We have fallen in love with the hotel and the quality of services. This was our second visit to this beautiful resort - and our return trip is already planned. We were very warmly welcomed as Marriott Elite members with personal attentive care. Upon arrival we were immediately taken up to the Executive Lounge for check-in, and were able to relax and enjoy a beverage & snacks during the process. After check-in, Mr. Kawabata of the Executive Lounge personally escorted us to our upgraded suite and provided an overview of the various details to ensure a comfortable stay. The highlight of our visits was the Executive Lounge. The Lounge provides options for breakfast, afternoon tea service and snacks, and a wonderful cocktail hour selection of food and top-shelf drinks, including champagne! The Lounge is spacious, with plenty of seating areas and wonderful ocean views. While the Lounge itself is delightful, it is the Lounge staff who are the true stars! As mentioned, Mr. Kawabata went above-and-beyond to ensure that our stay exceeded our expectations. The entire staff in the Lounge are extraordinarily attentive and happily anticipated our requests with superb service. We have provided our feedback accordingly to hotel management. As a final note, breakfast in the Pine Terrace is an extensive buffet of western and Japanese choices, including a personalized egg station. Breakfast is also available in the Lounge where we also enjoyed the same level of service and the expansive views.

When my taxi pulled up, I was greeted with a warm smile. My luggage was taken for me and I was taken to the Club Lounge on 36th floor where I did the check-in. Sitting down - very civilised. Unfortunately, I don’t speak any Japanese and the gentleman who checked me in didn’t speak any English. However, I got the gist of what he was saying - when was breakfast, the happy hour, where things were. Despite my lack of Japanese I was always made to feel very welcome everywhere but as one of the previous reviewers said, it was a little surprising very few people spoke English. That and the rather pricy restaurants are the only reasons for deducting a star. Breakfast in the lounge was good. They bring a plate over with sausage, bacon and eggs (you can choose scrambled or fried) and the rest is all buffet. Happy Hour is brilliant! They have 2 sittings a 5-6.15pm one or 6.45-8pm one. Good idea - that way they accommodate everyone comfortably. The hor d’ouvres are great!!! You are presented with a mini menu of the six items you will be served. There were some delicious items which included some quality ingredients such as fois gras and caviar. Of course, these were not on the menu every night and they were quite small as they are only hor d’ouvres. Nevertheless, it was still most impressive. Top Tip: if you don’t want to spend a fortune on your meals, there is a stand that does some hearty lunches for ¥500-¥1000 as you walk round to the pools. It is only there at lunchtime and if you don’t have cash on you, don’t worry you can charge it to your room. The food is not the high end stuff you get in the restaurants but it was still really tasty and super value for money!

It's great to have such a hotel at such a price in Miyazaki City. It has few rooms, so it is very quiet and clean. Especially, the unlimited amount of alcohol and small snacks in the lounge is a luxurious day, which is not easy to see in Japan. You can also enjoy unlimited breakfast in the restaurant on the ground floor. Unfortunately there is no swimming pool, but it seems to be the largest of the 50 gang hotels I have stayed in Japan. If you find this hotel because you want to spend a quiet day in Miyazaki city, go unconditionally!

This is by far one of the best hotel in my travel ”career”, i had been to all those 5..6 star luxury hotels around the world but Garden Terrace is giving me a feeling of.....i can't describe. It is not one of those Luxury type but the design is definitely one of the best..the service was also perfect! Breakfast was great, too bad i didn't have chance to try their dinner.

The hotel has a free shuttle bus that can be picked up from Jr Qingdao Station. You can see the Haiping Soup and ask the front desk to make an appointment in advance. Hotel environment is not bad, eating and drinking can only be solved in the hotel, but the price is reasonable, eat is also very rich, Miyazaki beef is good. Booked the most expensive annex, there is a private soup on the balcony, but only enough for a person to soak, the large bath can see the sea, there are many locals surfing.

The environment is very good and you can see the sea. The evening package is very rich, and I have eaten Miyazaki beef and Ise lobster. On the first floor, there is a private soup that can see the sea and an appointment is required. On the third floor, there is a public atmosphere. There is a pick-up at JR Qingdao Station.

Big rooms, Wi fi is slow, Kitchen is nice and the room was cleaned. There is nothing close by but the facility itself is great!

After the bicycle long ride event departing and arriving at Sun Marine Stadium, I visited by using a day trip hot spring. The day trip hot spring is 1,100 yen, but I was healed by the smooth and smooth hot water. I thought the building itself was very gorgeous and I could just call it a Holiday Inn. Although it was a bus use, the bus enters the hotel car and it is a fixed-route bus, but it is also attractive to be able to go to the airport in less than 30 minutes without transfer. Above all, it was very pleasant to see the sea straight from the hot spring.
- Guest User
The facilities and environment were very good because there were many families and children, but the front desk response was very unfriendly. The female concierge who corresponded at the hotel entrance was very good and kind, but the tension fell at the front desk. There is no guide such as check-out time and meal explanation in the building, so the answer from here was disappointing.

Pro - spacious room, clean, big bath room with big wooden bath tub (depending on selected room type) free parking, not full breakfast included but free toast and toaster in the room. Value for money. Note - no English speaking staff, but English explanatory printed out sufficient enough to understand instruction/procedure. Con - seem no nice restaurant nearby within walking distance, have a drive a bit but still not far.
- Guest User
Thank you very much for your help. The room was spacious and I used it comfortably. Also, the bath was wide and the scent of cypress was very good. The young proprietress was a very nice person, and she taught me about delicious shops in Miyazaki. This time I wasn't staying for sightseeing, so when I returned to the inn late at night, I was greeted with a smile. I will use it again the next time I go sightseeing.

I have stayed at several Dormy Inns 20 nationwide, but I stayed here for the first time. The staff (female) at check-in is squeaky and the points are raised due to the good reception. When I requested a room (twin) close to the smoking booth in advance, the room next to the booth was assigned and it was helpful. The twin room is a little narrow compared to other Dormy Inns. The large communal bath also felt that the indoor bath, the open-air bath, and the sauna were less 々 wide considering the hotel capacity (the same is true for the dressing room). Many people staying at Dormy Inn like bathing, but it was always crowded here (1 The same was true for Dormy Inn in Oita, where I stayed in the month). At Dormy Inn in the Kanto and Hokuriku districts, I often encounter a chartered state for only one person, but it was always crowded here. Breakfast is very satisfying with a local menu. Unfortunately, parking in the affiliated parking lot in the adjacent area is more than 2 F and there is no elevator. If you have heavy luggage, you will be stuck unless you unload your luggage before entering the warehouse. I think it's a Dormy Inn where you can spend your time comfortably if you are careful only about the parking lot.
- Guest User
When you check in, you can take a coffee, oolong tea drink service, and a hot spring with a sauna for a bath. Free ice stick service after the bath. In addition, you can relax in the room with the service of soy sauce ramen at night or light soy sauce ramen. Since dinner is in the city, there are many places to eat, so I think it's good to stay after a drinking party. Breakfast is also delicious. It is my favorite recently. I can recommend it to those who come from outside the prefecture with confidence.

The hotel location is great, it is right across from a plaza with restaurants and you can just park at the hotel and walk to the attraction (e.g. Aoshima Shrine, Devil's Washboard) for around 10-15 mins as you cannot drive into the attraction and you have to pay a fee to park close by which makes this hotel very convenient. The hotel has 2 onsens, one at the rooftop where you have to shower outside but the view is nice, one in the basement where it looks kind of old. The overall facilities are old like the other reviewers said, but it is very common with the style like this in Japan. Our room is Japanese & Western style with 2 beds, the room is kind of big to fit 2-4 pax. Staff was friendly and they will try their best to speak English. We enjoyed our stay.
- Guest User
Although it is an old style Japanese room, the facilities are also old. But the spring quality of the hot spring is good, and it is the alkaline spring quality that feels familiar with the skin. This hotel has been used as a regular inn at the time of the Miyazaki camp, so there is still a color paper with the signature of the player. In terms of meals, there was no more unusual ingredients in the content of the very common.

We arrived late in the night as traffic from Beppu was heavy with fog on highway and rain. Check-in was online and getting into apartment was easy. First impression-its so tiny for 3 adults. No room to open our luggage nor proper dining table and chair but a tiny coffee table. Place was not clean; 1 leftover bottle of coffee in fridge from previous occupant, furniture rather old, sofabed torn, dusty and filthy rubbish bin to name a few areas. Its an all in 1 small apartment meant more for single person. Walkable to downtown.
- Guest User
It was spacious and beautiful! I was able to spend a leisurely time asking Uber.
