Baa Atoll, Maldives, Maldives
"This is the most spectacular luxury resort, I am so glad we chose it as part of our bucket-list trip to the Maldives! I wanted the best, someplace small and personal with top-notch service, and the Nautilus did not disappoint. It begins with arrival in Male, which Nautilus handles better than other resorts. While most passengers walked to the arrivals hall, we were met at the foot of the stairs by a Nautilus representative who whisked us by car to a VIP lounge, where we handed over our passports and all the arrival details were handled for us as we relaxed with a cold beverage. If we'd had any checked luggage, they would have retrieved it for us. We had booked the house seaplane, so it would be going directly to the resort with no other stops - and as it turned out, no other guests on our flight. Leather seats, air conditioned, more spacious than the TMA planes. On arrival at the island, we were met with cold juice and our house master, Aslam, took us by electric cart on a quick tour and to our ocean house. He clearly had paid attention to the pre-arrival information he had requested, and we found robes, slippers, and snorkel gear in our sizes, as well as a welcome bottle of champagne, canapes, and a huge bowl of fresh fruit that was replenished daily. Sunscreen, insect repellant and plug-ins were provided, though we never saw a mosquito and didn't use the repellant. The ocean house is gorgeous! Spacious, light, with a tropical vibe. It had good privacy. The living room features a glass window in the floor. The bedroom had plenty of electrical/USB outlets at bedside, a huge amount of closet and drawer space. The bathroom was large, with two separate vanities. Each room opens onto the expansive deck, with a beautiful large pool, lounges, table and chairs, Maldavian swing, refrigerator with beverages, clothes drying rack, and a handheld shower at the top of the steps into the sea. The pool was a comfortable temperature most of the time, just a bit chilly at dawn. We did have a couple minor electrical issues, when the hairdryer would pop the circuit breaker; we learned how to reset it. WiFi was reliable throughout the island. We were in unit #203, on the north side, with a sunrise view from the edge of the deck or pool which we enjoyed. We had requested a sunset view, but as it turned out, we were never in our room at sunset anyway, as they have a complimentary cocktail hour with live music and small bites around the pool every day around sunset, where the view is perfect. It was fun to try the various items they came up with each day, always tailored to our food preferences. Included in our room rate was breakfast, some minibar items (coffee, tea, and 3 bottles of juice per day), and evening turndown service which included a carafe of fresh juice shots (a different blend every day) and some kind of small treat, like mini cakes or cookies. Also included was 4 items of laundry per day, and all non-motorized watersports. "
"From the first moment you set foot on the island, time doesn’t matter anymore and you’ve arrived in paradise. You get the chance to escape your day to day life and can watch all worries fly away. With a super kind and friendly team one feels like coming home. Our housemaster Aslam made every dream come true. Whether it is the staff at the restaurant, the housekeeping, the watersports team, … everybody is greeting you with a big smile and some nice words. We’ve shared many laughters together. The concept of the team is not only full of little daily surprises, but also gives one a feeling of home, as the focus lies upon absolute privacy. This provides the feeling of being the only guests on the island. It´s kind of a big family on the island, with everyone being supportive, helpful and very kind. There is almost no wish wich can not be fulfilled. The diving counts to the best experiences we’ve had in the Maledives so far. Not only are there still some beautiful spots left, but also the very helpful and friendly boatcrew made the experience so special. The equipment is still very new and in perfect condition. With Susanna as our own diving guide, we’ve had the whole boat to ourselves for the entire day. It was really hard for us to say goodbye at the end of our stay, so after less than 24h at the next island we decides to come back to the Nautilus . Also the rooms differ to other resorts, as one can never see sharp edges, but everything is kept in round design. The interior and exterior of the island is designed with so much taste that you wish you could get the designer for your own house at home. Summarising you could say that staying at the Nautilus isn’t only a vacation… its a world of your own making and way more than that."
"This resort opened about a year ago and wow, it’s certainly got to be one of the best exclusive resorts in the Maldives. We have visited about 10 Islands now in the Maldives and this one is up there with the best if the exclusive ones as it has everything we could have hoped for. It is friendly, has its own luxury sea-plane and super luxury boats. It really has everything you would want for a romantic retreat, being one of those exclusive Smaller Island with 37 luxurious water and beach villas of various types to suit family’s and couples its keeps that exclusive feel, it’s very romantic and quiet but with everything you need and more , great Restruante’s , super cocktail bars and lots of complimentary extra nice touches that I won’t spoil it by saying, other than to say, you will not be disappointed when visiting this Island as it really has brought together everything that is great about the Maldives. We would not hesitate to go back to this Island for another trip as it will be hard to beat in the Maldives."

Baa Atoll, Maldives, Maldives
"We stayed for a couple of weeks beginning of March and were amongst the last to enjoy a stress-free holiday before the coronavirus restrictions kicked in. We stayed in a beach villa that faced east and gave us both stunning sun and moon rises. The wind was more prevalent on our side but was no more than a gentle breeze which made the heat more comfortable. The villa was incredibly spacious and we spent the whole time lounging around without once feeling restricted. It felt like our own resort within a resort. The deck was enormous with a variety of seats and loungers and the private pool was large enough for several strokes in any direction. There was plenty of shade and apart from the very occasional, distant guest wondering past along the beach (and it's the kind of place where most wave apologetically for the intrusion) we had total and utter privacy and peace. The food was exceptional. For variation we did try the Shoreline and Ba’theli restaurants but never tired of the Ocean, it took on a different identity every time we sat down to eat. Those who looked after us there were brilliant and gave us suggestions for unlisted dishes and variations on a menu which in the end we barely looked at. Like many hotels the Milaidhoo operates a “butler” service. Request go through your personal butler. They are available any time, day or night. There is constant communication between them and all departments. It seems even the smallest of requests and comments of any significance are passed on. It was a genuine pleasure to have met everyone at Milaidhoo, I’d mention names but wouldn’t want to leave anyone out. That said I have to say thank you to the wonderful Akoo. His kindness, patience and incredible efficiency made our stay beyond exceptional. In short, Milaidhoo is a small and very quiet resort which protects your peace and privacy. It gave us a level of contentment we have not felt anywhere else. From the General Manager down, there was a genuine kindness, concern and a total commitment to make our stay the very best it could be. It was. Next year we will once again be spending a couple of weeks at the Milaidhoo and hopefully in the care of Akoo. Prior to booking our holiday, I read in Trip Advisor a review which said "if you want anything then ask for it", trust me that is true."
"If you're looking at these places you will want somewhere that can deliver the special remote island feeling - this place certainly can. It is quite small and seems to have a relatively small number of guests at a time. You won't see many other people in one place except for breakfast time. We stayed in an overwater villa which is just as it shows on the pictures - really special and of high quality. The deck area is superb with your own pool - which is a really good size. You cannot see the neighbours and they can't see you. Your steps lead down to the turqouise water and parts of the reef offer excellent snorkelling (no charge for lending you good snorkel gear). The exact location of the villa can make a difference - when we got there we were in a windward villa and there was wind which meant spray coming over the deck and the sea being too choppy to swim or snorkel. We were moved to a leeward villa which was much better in this respect. Water activities are available, some at five star prices, but there are some reasonable ones too. We were given the honey moon package (although it was slightly more than 6 months since our wedding). The prices of food and drink are high - to be fair probably what you would expect. There may be a little room for a special deal here and there - we were given a special deal on the mediterranean buffet on one night which was really good - my favourite meal there. The staff are really nice and helpful - they obviously work hard for every guest that comes along. I'm not sure if you need four or five people to ask you if you are enjoying your breakfast though! I do wonder if the resort could be a bit more eco- friendly with more local food? Do guests really need butter from France? Overall this place can give you that special island holiday -and it must be one of the best honeymoon locations in the world."
"I have never been on Maldives before the Milaidhoo so for me it was the first hotel. And everything was absolutely perfect. BUT, after the Milaidhoo we stayed for one week on another hotel and we fully understand how cool was at Milaidhoo❤️❤️❤️ First of all its a small island with absolutely comfortable villas and beautiful nature. Also Milaidhoo is very quiet place: there is no music on the beach, restaurants and its soooo cool👌👌 you can stay in absolute tranquility in a middle of the ocean. We really want to thank to our butler Abdulla, he made our stay unforgettable. It is very important part of our stay, that all our requests concerning the food, room amenities or our stay were heard and they truly made everything for us. The most important thing is the hotel is really unique! We are not fans of “beach vacations”, but visited several times Turley, Mexico, Dominicana and I want to say that the Milaihdhoo in Maldives is completely different experience of real relax as its should be💛 "

"Where do we start with this review? By far the most amazing holiday ever! The whole experience at Soneva Fushi was amazing for myself, wife and 2 kids, 4yrs and 1 yr. We had multiple incredible experiences in our trip, including the Dolphin Sunset Cruise, day and picnic on the local uninhabited island and private BBQ on the beach. All of the experience felt like bucket list experiences, highest quality and amazing service throughout. We made extensive use of the Den where our 4 year old was able to roam on his own and our 1 year was supervised by us or on a couple of occasions we utilised a babysitter to get some free time to snorkel or have a date night! Always felt comfortable and confident with our baby sitter Danielle, she was great. The island is beautiful. We loved cycling around with the kids in our baskets, such a treat to spend quality time together in paradise. All the staff were so wonderful. It’s very relaxed, they take the time to get to know you and your family, making a fuss of the kids and keeping them entertained when you want to finish your yummy dinner. Last but not least, our Ms Friday Lilian made the whole trip. She guided us throughout, in a polite and respectful way, making sure we got the most out of our week at Soneva, finding solutions when we needed advise. She went out of her way to pop up throughout the day, giving our son rides in the golf cart, one of his most favourite things. Congrats Soneva, what an incredible riser you have!"
"My wife and I visited in January 2020 for our honeymoon. I had looked at photo's and videos, but the reality FAR outweighed my expectations. Highlights, in no particular order: Sundowners on the deserted island nearby. The staff, both attentive and discreet, always genuinely friendly and helpful. The lush island to explore, with accommodation discreetly placed. Being able to easily cycle everywhere. The fresh vegetables from the island gardens. The food for every taste and preference. Healthy food offerings so tasty and seamless that you leave healthier than you arrived. Sustainable food options and healthier food options that changed how we ate after visiting the island. The tasteful and unique accommodation options that make you feel like you’re on a deserted island. The snorkeling...where one can step off a pier stairway direct to coral reef teeming with life (so enjoyable I didn't feel the need to scuba dive!). Should you forget a book, there is a book shop with an amazing selection and "the barefoot bookseller" who can not only advise on the perfect book for your taste, but offers “biblio-therapy” (highly recommended). Although we don't have kids, we visited the Den where parents can be certain their children and teens will be kept entertained (the diversity of offerings was so amazing WE wanted to join in!)."
"We’ve been traveling the world as a band for the past 10 years and we cannot express the perfection of Soneva Fushi. We’ve been frequenting Soneva since 2012 and we are happy to confirm that there is no comparison! From the moment you arrive in Male you’re greeted by the fantastic Soneva team and whisked away to the most serene island on the planet. The island is kept in pristine condition so there is no need to wear shoes. We didn’t touch shoes for the entirety of our stay. This is such an excellent detail about Soneva Fushi ... “No Shoes, No News” The nature is truly stunning. Bicycle riding through the jungle to snorkeling at the in house reef. The staff is beyond reproach! It’s an experience of a lifetime. You just have to see it to believe it. "

"My family and I recently spent 12 glorious nights at The Westin and I cant compliment it enough. From the moment we arrived to the minute we left we were treated to the best service and the biggest smiles. Shaffaf was assigned to us and was an absolute dream. He would book our restaurants and was there to organize any excursions, trips or help we needed with anything. He also managed to organize us an upgrade to a water villa with a pool as we are platinum Bon Voy members. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is thinking of staying at this resort. The rooms are huge with the most spectacular views over the ocean. We woke every morning to the sound of the sea and fed the beautiful fish, which there are an abundance of. The rooms have a coffee machine and an orange juicer in the room and we were provided with the sweetest fresh juicy oranges every day. The snorkeling was out of this world! We were provided with complimentary masks and snorkels and went most days from our room. We saw everything from reef sharks to octopus and obviously all the beautiful angel fish, parrot fish, nemos and dories. The food in all four of the restaurants was absolutely amazing! I would like to make a special mention to Gaurav the Head chef who made us the most spectacular mix of different curries on our last night and tailor made them to our taste. It was fantastic. I would also like to say a huge thankyou to Dave in Hawker restaurant who again made some amazing dishes just for us. The sunset bar is the perfect place to watch the jaw dropping sunsets and Ramesh has got to make the most perfect margaritas in the world! The staff are second to non and I cant thank each one of them enough although I would like to say a special thankyou to Hamoodh at Hawker, Hussain and Anto in Island kitchen and to Hetti who is your go to guy with anything food and beverage, especially his knowledge of wines. There is not much he does not know and selected some fabulous wines for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Finally a huge thankyou to Brendan Corcoran the GM who took time out to come and see us, welcome us and made sure our stay was an enjoyable one.....it was! If you want sheer luxury on a small, intimate island and just want to switch off, relax, enjoy fabulous food and drink with amazing service in spectacular surroundings then this is the place for you. Thankyou to you all. Liz,Steve and Suki"
"Resort : outstanding (built aesthetically, very new so all modern comfort, but not for those looking at a long beach walk, it’s a small island) Room : we stayed in villa no 146 - overwater heavenly villa. The upgrade is totally worth it. Not sure how the beach villas are - but strongly recommend overwater villas. Service : outstanding again (every staff is there to make your wish come true) Food : very good - we are vegetarians and we loved the options provided to us (chef even prepared a five course veg dinner at “Pearl” - their happy ear restaurant). Don’t miss the veg picnic basket experience. Sunset bar is another place that you will visit every evening (and not for sunset :) Activities : good !! we took the snorkelling session (must do) and the trip where you snorkel with turtles. Both were mind blowing experiences (even when we didn’t know how to swim). We missed the fishing trip as it rained. I think they should get more soul into the aquatic centre. It feels cold talking to the team there - and they can do better in making things happen for the guests. We were not able to get the appointments for spa (that’s how busy they were - so assuming they must be awesome). Overall - we felt four nights just about did justice. Two more days - and we could have tried few more activities, movie at our pool deck, outdoor dining experience and may be couple of spa sessions!! Very well done and very well run team !! Five stars. "
"This was my first time to travel to Maldives and I am glad to have choose Westin Miriandhoo resort. All the good reviews I had read previously are just beyond my expectations. I was welcomed to and from the airport by Nafeel whom directed and guided me all way through to both my domestic and seaplane flight. he is very professional and also friendly.Thank you Nafeel. At the hotel Mansool (Maus) was assigned to assist me and he truly made my stay one of the kind.he is always reachable ,with good customer care services.I would like to thank him. I would also like to thank the spa team I meet very nice ladies Febri and Masseuse Ratih. I I would also like to thank the following nice-people I met serving at the restaurants ,Nicholas, Irish, Erina ,John ,Hussain, Anto, Nyoman, sohag, Naresh.. I would Also like to thank Amaan, the professional photographer for capturing my pictures. Mudhdhoo Island, Maldives, Maldives
"Walk around the island for about 20 minutes. It is a medium-sized island in the Maldives. The island is booked mainly for snorkeling, watching whale sharks, manta rays and turtles. Went to the Spring Festival and informed that whale sharks and manta rays can only be seen from June to November. I only saw turtles out of the sea. It's a pity. Okay on the island. The house I live in is simple and natural, and the room is large. Lived in a water house and a sand house. The water house is at sea, and there is a small ladder to go straight to the sea. Watching the sunset is also very convenient. Another advantage is that there are no bugs! Disadvantages, there are waves during the Spring Festival. The waves were loud at night during sleep. The sand house is the front and back yard, and the front is a washing area surrounded by it. The back is an open sandy beach. Advantages The outdoor shower feels cool. It's also good to watch the sea from a beach lounge chair. Cons: There are ants! Ants are not afraid of people, they crawl on them. Will be bitten by ants. The worst thing was the ants, my wife and I were bitten. There is no solution, don't put sweets in the house, including garbage. No bugs are seen during the day, but they come out at night. Be prepared to live in a sand house. That ant is very big. The service on the island is good, but I feel the butler is more tasteless. Except for staying in the room, I can see it but I can't see it. Communication depends on WeChat, not Chinese, only WeChat translation. It doesn't feel useful. The island is so big, and I go to the sea to play at the top of the water center on the island. Basically, I do n’t need a housekeeper. The little girl at the front desk has a Chinese, and my little girl from Japan and Thailand can also speak Chinese. Girl WeChat, acting as a translator. The Aquatic Center has a Chinese deep diving instructor who can talk to him about water sports and ask them to help book. No problem with English. Finally, talk about fun. To be honest, there is less play on the island. Snorkeling is good, and there are many fish. The snorkeling area is also large. On the side of the market, the waves are small, and there are no waves in the morning. Can kayak, paddleboards have waves to keep from playing. It is recommended to go to the aquatic center early in the morning to play the project. I was kayaking and found that I was alone. It seemed that everyone was really on vacation. If you don't see whale sharks or devil fishes. This island has a lot of fun. Suitable for those who like to snorkel, can play kayaking, sailing, paddleboarding, jet skiing, watching dolphins on the boat, and snorkeling to watch Wang Ba. Gone! Still relatively few. I feel that most of them are taking care of their homes on vacation, which is very suitable. The environment on the island is good. Free bicycles are available for travel. There are many trees on the island and the scenery is good. The overall feeling is not high (maybe because of the Spring Festival)."
"The island is not big. It takes a 20-minute ride to circle. After the island welcome ceremony, the butler also took us straight to the room without going to the front desk. This is great! The butler is also on call, full English communication, if you need, you can ask for a Chinese translation at the front desk. There are three restaurants on the island. According to our acceptance, it is Thai restaurant, buffet restaurant, western restaurant, all-inclusive 240 dollars per person, we did not add, custom lunch, it is worth experiencing, all the children in the restaurant are free, the extra bed is free, it is suitable for taking children, staying for three nights, two nights in Haosha, the experience is different, Or the water is comfortable, the room has stairs to go directly to the sea, you can see all kinds of beautiful tropical fish, there are many rustling ants, that is, children can play sand, we live in Haosha near Thai restaurant, snorkeling to the Thai restaurant is below the trench You can see the little sharks. You can see the turtles if you are lucky. The chef in the cafeteria is in the northeast. The water sports center also has a Chinese staff. It is very convenient to communicate. Experience the sea fishing, all seasickness, experience. The motorboat, but because of the fear of destroying the coral reef can not be fast, the registration paraglider wind is too big to fly, originally wanted to see the dolphins but the sea fishing boat was canceled the day before, basically It is a daily swimming snorkeling. If you have water sports, you can also take the children's center for free. The SPA technique is generally too expensive. If you want to kill the chicken, go to Thailand. The location of the infinity pool is the best place to watch the sunset. Here you can take pictures or something, in Madai, just take a shot will be very beautiful"
"The water on the island is very delicate and clear, because the weather in the rainy season is not good enough, but it is charming enough! The waiters are very enthusiastic, and they will say hello when they meet, but the butler is generally ineffective. The privacy of the room is also very good, the breakfast is very rich, it is recommended to have Thai food for dinner, the price is cheaper and exquisite than the buffet. Snorkeling is very convenient. After experiencing the sand house and water house, you can go directly to the sea in the backyard of the sand house. It is recommended to live in the sand house if you like to play in the water. The water house is very comfortable and there are many fishes underneath. Children love it!"

"Shuifei arrives at the hotel in 30 minutes. The service is not bad. There are many types of breakfast and dinner, mainly Western style. Dinner is almost no seafood. There are grilled steak, grilled lamb chops and grilled shrimps. The hotel is really big and the tail beach is also very good Beautiful, the restaurant on the trailing beach only has lunch, there is basically nothing to eat, the taste is not suitable for Chinese people,"

"The vacation chose this island. It turned out to be very beautiful. Every photo doesn't need to be like a cover picture. The sea is clear, the beach is white, and there are many fishes. The snorkeling is first-class. This time I lived in three room types, namely beach villas. Waterfront villas and water villas, the lowest cost-effective is the waterfront villa, only a little more than a meter of swimming pool is more than a thousand dollars, the water villa is very good, upgrade to the largest head of a huge living room and The room, all kinds of fish are below, snorkeling is great, and I saw little sharks and batfish, worth it! Clean the sanitation twice a day, there are four large bottles of water, enough, dental equipment, etc., no need to carry, coffee tea bags are also very rich! This time there is no one-price all-inclusive package, only breakfast, very rich, can go to eat around 9:30, lunch is together! There is fish feeding activity at 18:30 every night, a lot of fish, very spectacular! The free cocktail party on Tuesday night was great and it was a little bit! I did not find a Chinese-speaking waiter. Communication is a little difficult, but I will provide instructions for the Chinese island. I can also know about various arrangements! The spa is also good, the price is not expensive, you can try! In addition to the gym, there is also a mahjong room in the wellness center. It is said that there are about 30% of Chinese tourists on the island. The water house is basically Chinese tourists, but the number of water houses is small and it is scheduled as early as possible. The public areas of the entire island are quite fashionable and the borderless pool is great! The island is more expensive to eat, you can bring some Chinese food. About, service,"
"This review should seriously talk about the hotel's service, the summary is that the service is very general, out of the airport in Male, can not see the mailing-off of the pick-up personnel, is the phone of another hotel, it is very dazzling, on The island came, the staff was polite, but there was no rule to deal with the problem. I stayed for three days and changed three room types. Every time I went to the hotel front desk to handle it for more than an hour, the staff promised, and the next one will forget! And people in different countries are found at the front desk, asking the same questions! Room service, called ice will not be sent to you, leaving the flight envelope of the day, said to the room, the result is not, go to the front desk to ask the baggage staff lost the letter! Simply! The restaurant waiter is very polite and thoughtful! There is no Chinese waiter besides the diving center with a Chinese coach! And there is no infirmary on the island, and it can't be dealt with by coral scratches! In short, the scenery facilities are very OK, the service is very general island, especially for those who care about the customer, the outlying island program is very chaotic!"
"The hotel's cost on the island is 400 US dollars for one person, but it is not a water fly. It is an inland 50-seat airplane. It is a general experience. It takes 10 minutes to get to the island on the nearest resident island. The price is small and expensive. Have to think about it! In addition, the price of the island is very different, and the price of the whole price is very different. Please pay attention when selecting the room type! In addition, buying snorkeling equipment in Decathlon is very important, especially easy to use!"

"We chose this hotel, the price/performance ratio is really good. After the trip, some people arranged for pick-up and drop-off, arranged for the inland plane and speedboat to arrive at the resort. After arriving at the fake village, the service staff sent a welcome to each person. We originally booked 5 I lived in a luxury villa in the evening. Fortunately, I can live in the water villa on the 4th night. The two villas have their own characteristics. The luxury villas can see the sunset, the water villas can see the sunrise, and everything is well arranged. The beach has white sand and the water is very blue. We cleaned the room twice a day. We booked a full breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was also served in the same main restaurant. The waiter was very polite. Every night there are different dishes and facilities. Enough, in addition to drinking water, only one bottle is supplied per room per day. The water in the hose is only filtered once and the salt is not completely filtered. Therefore, it is not suitable for drinking. To drink extra water, you should buy it at the restaurant or bar."
"The hotel service is very good, the waiter is very polite, thank you for the help of the crew, waiters, managers and others."
"Like praise, Ctrip service is also awesome. Recommend Reti, but it is best to be all-inclusive. Otherwise the cost is high"
