Piazza Del Comune 19, Montefalco, Umbria, Italy
"First, a word about Montefalco. A gem, a small village perched on a mountain, a center for gastronomy and wine. A half dozen wonderful sophisticated restaurants. Not packed with tourists as many other Umbrian towns and villages, perfect for wandering aimlessly on the maze of little streets and stopping in the stores of local food specialities. The Palazzo Bontadosi sits on the lovely town square and is and was the palazzo of the town. The ceilings in many of the bedrooms have museum level decorations. Most of the rooms are very spacious. There is a spa, only partially open when we were there, that got rave reviews from family members who tried it.There are, to be honest, a number of quirks that should be acknowledged. The rooms were apparently furnished so that they were ready to be photographed (there is a book available showing the Palazzo in all its glory). Unfortunately, those spectacular rooms have no drawers for clothes, almost no closet space. We used a lovely fireplace to lay out clothes. Bathrooms also a bit quirky from constraints of old buildings- but reasonably functional. Wifi only sporadically available in a variable spot in the breakfast room. But the staff were all wonderful, breakfasts good and responsive to special needs. Management obviously has its eyes on making this a real destination. Now they need to modify the rooms for people really staying there e.g. with drawers for clothes. Even with these caveats , next time we are in this area, this is the hotel, this is the town where we will come."
"I strongly recommend Pazzazzo Bontadosi for a special weekend! The town itself is incredible. In a very beautiful building at the Central Square of the town, the Palazzo is elegant but with a modern interior. I have found there a remarkable treatment. The all team working here is attentive and beautiful to look at and never made me miss something. The Spa was an experience as much as the food/service at the restaurant, where I have tryed the best wine and trouffeles combination. Don't miss a lunch on the terrace where the view is amazing. Coming back next year! Thank you for the beautiful weekend!"
"What a beautiful hotel. Beautiful modern design, sparkling clean. The room was fantastic with an amazing view to the town square , classical music playing from one of the restaurants - a real experience in Montefalco. The Spa is a must.... clean, modern and relaxing. It’s. Family run business and it’s so well kept. Thanks Maria and family you were a great!!! Don’t miss you the restaurant in the photos I’m attaching it’s 3 min walk down the street ... Umbria Specialties "

Via Fabio Filzi N.2, Foligno, Umbria, Italy
"We stayed two nights in Relais Metelli. It is a charming boutique hotel in a lovely street. The hotel is new and well maintained with a beautiful classic decor. The room was large enough and the bathroom was large and comfortable. We liked the room decor very much. The hotel pays great attention to small details. Breakfast was nice with great atmosphere. Staff were excellent and helpful. Location of Relais Metelli is perfect for star touring. Very close to Assisi, Spello and Spoleto. We found many nice wineries with wine tasting in the area using Google Map. It was an excellent stay and we loved everything in this charming hotel. Highly recommended. "
"We loved staying here. Came for a wedding in Trevi and this was a great place to relax afterwards. We had a great balcony and very pretty room. Staff was friendly. Very quiet area but there are places around to eat. They bring in a breakfast from somewhere close that was pretty good. All other meals you would have to eat out."
"I searched Tripadvisor before booking and found a gem. The room was really good with a comfortable bed just off the centre point of the main town for restaurants and shops etc. The car park is at the back and is sufficient for the hotel. Nice staff as well."

Borgo Rovero di Champeaux 18, Campello sul Clitunno, Umbria, Italy
"Relais Borgo Campello is not just a 'hotel', it is much more than that. It is peace, natural beauty, good cuisine, and arts. Its owners and the whole staff are extremely kind, warm, and competent. We immediately felt at home, our dream home, and we enjoyed this unique friendly atmosphere for the whole duration of our stay. When we left, we knew that we would miss the Relais and we felt that we would be missed too. We will never forget, and we already plan our next holidays at the Relais. Bravi Daniela e Vincenzo!! Laura & Family."
"This hotel is located in a castle on the top of a mountain, with a great view of the town below. We were greeted by the owners and learned about the rich history of the castle. We ate olive oil from a local mill with fresh bread, pasta made this morning and tiramisu. It was a delicious meal served on the terrace of the castle. The rooms are beautifully refurbished, comfortable and modern."
"We stumbled upon this little restaurant by chance and it did not disappoint! The location is stunning, hosts very friendly and food is delicious. The terrace is perfect for a pre- lunch drink and then the dining room is cozy and interesting. Sad we discovered it on our last day in the region. "

Via Di Borgo, 72, Scheggino, Umbria, Italy
"We stayed for three nights. Very romantic little complex in a rustic town. The appartments are located in the small streets of the town. There are a lot of stairs, but they are not steep. Downside is that there are no balconies nor is there a pool. But we knew that of course when we booked. "

Loc. Camporoppolo, Spoleto, Umbria, Italy
"This hotel was very nice, with a lovely and comfy bed, a beautifully large bathroom. The air conditioner was on a strange schedule and would not always turn on when we wanted to cool down the room. We also sometimes had outside visitors in the room in the forms of bugs but other than that the room was beautiful and perfect for what we needed - which was a place to stay at the end of the day sightseeing the little Italian towns in the area! The breakfast was a little disappointing and mild for our taste, with a small variety of breads and cheeses and other items. There was delicious cakes for breakfast however, not exactly what you would want to be eating every day for breakfast. I would have appreciated some eggs, more bread items fresher fruits and a wider selection of cereals. The spa was not included, and there wasn't even an english version of the spa menu for us to review. Checkout time was 1030 which is unusually early for ANY hotel, is the same time that breakfast finishes so made us feel stressed about checking out and having time for breakfast. If we had needed something more than just a place to rest, I'm not sure I would've picked this place. It was conveniently located about 20 mins to Spoleto town."
"Very good impression when you arrive nice big garden., friendly helpful service. The rooms were average , water tap and shower were not working very well due to the big chalky deposit , so simple to clean and make a much better impression... BUT the frustration is the so called SPA ..a small pool not for swimming but event without any jets . so you just sit in hot water .... the sauna ok the turkish batch we had to leave after a couple of minutes due to the strong smell of waste water . The treatments were very expensive (75 and 50 Euro) and not professional just rubbing oil into a body. And the negative highlight of our stay !! we have learned at check out that we had to pay EUR 30 per person !!! for a 2 hours stay at the hotel owned SPA !! this is a NO GO we have been in so many places in Germany /France /Austria / Switzerland even in Italy and we never ever heard that Hotel guest have to pay in addition for the SPA ..this is not acceptable . We were looking for a Hotel where we can stay with friends. this is definitively not the place."
"We used to go to the pool last year all the time, for 10 € we'd have chairs and a nice huge umbrella..It used to be beautiful and luxurious looking. Yesterday (August 8, 2018) We went for the day and we were incredibly disappointed. It was horrible! The teenage boy who was supposedly taking care of the place and it's clients didn't seem to care at all.He opened our umbrellas then went to sit down and play on his phone. All of the lounge chairs were in disarray and we had a hard time finding one that actually worked.. when I did find one that worked, the cord broke while trying to adjust the back rest. There was even a pair of men's underwear on a lounge chair and and empty water bottle discarded on another. The grounds were like swamp lands full of water and mud everywhere we stepped. The pool was cloudy and dirty and I loathed going in just to cool off. I thought to use the shower instead but the drain was blocked so in order to take a shower with a slight dribble of water coming out, you were forced to stand in 2 inches of stagnant dirty water. When we arrived at almost 10.00 AM the garbage cans were overflowing and the boy was just starting to empty them and then took forever to replace the bags, we had to remind him. The cooler at the bar was 1\2 empty and you could see the broken down structures and wear and tear of everything. The boy took people's lunch orders and then was gone for probably an hour 1\2, leaving no one there to tend to people's needs. I thought maybe he had to go and prepare the food as well.My daughter had her 18th birthday here in December and we've always been pleased with this place, but now it seems like it's just a broken down complex and they either don't care to make improvements or don't have the money...whichever it is it's going downhill quickly!"

Viale Mezzetti, 29, Foligno, Umbria, Italy
"The hotel is conveniently located in front of the railway station, just a few parking spots reserved for the guests. My room (#102) was very nice, ground floor with a balcony that could be used as a private entry to the room. Nice large bathroom. Breakfast was ok, coffee/cappuccino was just ok even if it was freshly made from a real coffee machine. Not much food to choose from, no selections of bread. Overall the hotel is nice and the people at the recepcion fixed the bathtube within a few hours on a saturday so, averall, a good service"
"We had a wonderful two nights stay at this great hotel. Anil at the front desk was so gracious and professional, we were treated as royalty. Also julio and the rest of the staff were wonderful. Breakfast was great and abundant. Rooms were very comfortable and pleasant. Thank you for a great stay!!"
"Stayed a night while driving past. Beds are comfortable, rooms decent size breakfast was adequate and staff are very kind. It is in a relatively quiet area close to the station in an adapted liberty style villa with modern furniture "

"Good value and close to town but not recommended that you walk into town at night. Clean comfortable room and typical breakfast. Looks like a place to come and enjoy the surrounding area activities but we were just passing through. "

Via Ponte Delle Tavole 2, Bevagna, Umbria, Italy
"This was an excellent place to stay during our tour through Umbria and is located perfectly just outside the walls of Bevagna old town. The gardens surrounding the residence are beautifully kept, with green lawns and a sparkling clean pool which was great after an afternoon of exploring. The rooms themselves were huge, with a lounge/dining room and a separate bedroom with comfortable bed. The bathroom was small but clean, but good water pressure and basic toiletries provided. Both air-con and wifi worked well and onsite parking was convenient for us. Superiod customer service and the addition of a very cute and friendly cat completed the package! We did not eat onsite so cannot comment on food, but overall this property represents good value. We really enjoyed the time here and would happily return."
"We stayed here for four nights in early July 2018. The hotel is very pleasantly placed just outside the town of Bevagna. Paolo was very helpful in showing us various rooms for us to choose from. Each room has a little kitchen function so one could self-cater, up to a point, but breakfast was supplied - and very good it was. We enjoyed our stay here and were able to make several agreeable tourist visits to nearby towns."
"A spacious apartment in very pleasant garden surroundings . Check in was friendly, helpful and informative. A short walk to a lovely town . High standard of bathroom fittings and Sky Tv . Very comfortable stay "
