The hotel is in Lower Strauss, an old noble, elegant and rustic high-end hotel. The waiters are very good, the gentlemen are polite, and the hotel rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast is a semi-buffet ➕ order, and the breakfast quality is excellent. For dinner, you need to book a seat with the restaurant in advance, and try to enter the restaurant in a formal dress. The price is not outrageous and the taste is acceptable. The small villages and towns surrounding the hotel are far more beautiful than the upper Strauss and Arlington townhouses, with few people and quiet, which are especially suitable for daze. This place is suitable for driving.

The room was established in 1496, but it is very close to Blenheim Palace, a small hotel suitable for family travel, breakfast is very good.

Overall we loved our stay. The booking experience was good - we received plenty of reminders and pre-visit details so that was all good. I even had a phone call which I appreciated - seemed more like the personal touch. The hotel itself is very new and near a new housing development (not yet finished). I am sure it will be finished soon but it wasn't really the kind of place to go for a wander straight out of the door. You could definitely drive to nearby country walks though - and it is mega convenient for Bicester Village and Blenheim (though check the Blenheim prices before you go - it was certainly more than I thought it would be, and that was just to enter the grounds). Check in and the welcome drink were great - very kind and friendly staff. Check-out equally good because my husband and I messed up the dinner credit but the staff sorted it out very professionally so it was fine in the end. The room was good - fitted out to an excellent finish and had everything we needed. The only issue we had was that the bed was much narrower than what we are used to so didn't get a good night's sleep. Probably our fault for not checking the room description though. Our dinner in the hotel restaurant (Baton) was delicious - my husband just received the wrong starter and I think there was something missing from his main course. There were quite a few menu items not available though which was a shame because they looked like the best ones. Anyway what we did eat was amazing. The scotch eggs stole the show to be honest - absolutely knock-out! The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful - worth a mention. Breakfast was literally the best I have ever had in a hotel (also in Baton). Although the selection was small, I have never had such perfect quality pastries or cooked breakfast. I must admit I am extremely fussy, so this is no mean feat. Well done chef and team (NB even the coffee was spot on and I am a massive fuss-pot in that arena too!).

Very clean and spacious room overlooking the High Street. Quiet room. Generous sized bathroom. Rooms serviced daily if you put the tag on the door when you go out. Wall radiator heating was on and off at irregular times - a bit frustrating in the winter weather. Good breakfast delivered to the rooms if you tick your choices on the tag and time you prefer it to be delivered and place it outside your door the night before. There was a gentleman who we met when we were letting ourselves into the front door. He was very helpful and advised us about ordering breakfast and room cleaning daily service, using the tags. He cleaned and serviced the rooms. Bottled water and milk , tea and coffee supplied . Very conveniently situated guesthouse with easy access to local restaurants and pubs in the high street. The access to the rooms was via carpeted stair case. Parking was at a public parking area very close by that you pay for by card on site.

The environment is very elegant and quiet. Typical British style. fully equipped. Close to the main street in the center. The food is delicious. I was very satisfied with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very recommended!

超級滿意！前台很友善禮貌，trip上下單成了兩個單人床的房也換成了雙人床房。景色完美完全不想離開窗前，早餐很豐富 feldon特色的培根好吃。晚餐相對來説不是我喜歡的類型但兩晚的服務體驗也很好。雖然錯過了官方訂2住3的活動，但總體很滿意。可能以後紀念日還會再來。

A very old hotel, but very local cultural characteristics. The food is delicious, overall good~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The location of the hotel is very good, from the train station, closer to the 801 bus stop, go left for one minute. Our room is very beautiful, the window is the garden, but the only thing the room is lacking is that the shower head has no pylon, it can only be held by hand, and then if the shower is in a position that is relatively cramped, because the roof is tilted, the tall one may meet. Breakfast is okay, it is salty (if you order bacon).

My wife and I stayed for one night earlier on this week while visiting a friend and scouting the area for a possible relocation from London. It is based on a 17th century manor house with more recent additions which blend in well with the main building. I was welcomed by a lovely South African lady and a Hungarian gentleman who were both very pleasant and helpful The bedroom was on the second floor overlooking the High Street. The decor was pleasant and fit in with the general ambience of the hotel and it had a very nice bathroom attached. My only comments are that the room was quite hot even with the heating turned off and the windows open. The othre which I alsways check is the availability and access of power points/USB sockets. The room fell down here as there were no sockets or USB ports by the beds. Breakfast was excellent and overall we had a very enjoyable stay. Parkiong is either in the High Street which is free or in the car park which is a short walk throught the grounds
