I expected it to be good, I didn't know that it would be so wonderful! Outstanding in every respect, facilities, comfort, staff, location. Lovely room, very good breakfast buffet, and you step out of the door into the beauty of Cáceres: what more could you ask for?

Stunning building and location. Still can’t believe that paid Premier Inn prices to stay in the equivalent of a palace. And with modern amenities like the bathrooms which were very high quality. Like in a boutique hotel. Pool area was lovely too. Exceptional experience. Can’t wait to return.

Wonderful luxury hotel, especially after a long drive after touring northern Spain. We got a deal which included a one hour visit to the spa for both of us and that was an amazing treat. It is out of town but a taxi in is about €12. Big plus was also a normal outside parking space.

A good Parador with friendly and helpful staff. However you could sense and see that the staff were under pressure due to lack of staffing ie only one man to manage bar duty, laying of tables for the evening including for three large groups, and clearing away empty glasses etc.. at breakfast we had a similar experience - this did not bode well for a tranquil stay. As we said the staff were very friendly and helpful even under this pressure and cannot be faulted. Our room was spacious and had a seperate lounge area complete with tea and coffee making facilities, car parking was onsite, and the town centre was just a few minutes walk away with many restaurants etc.
