Top 10 Enfield Town Hotels

Wow…wow…wow….if there were 10 star hotels this would definitely be one. My husband stayed here recently and decided to book a couple of nights for my birthday. From the minute we arrived, warm welcome, efficient check in, fabulous room with a lovely welcome birthday plate. Decor is truly delightful. We dined in the restaurant and the food was superb. Excellent service, help with the wine list and friendly efficient well trained staff in every aspect of the hotel. I was brought some complimentary chocolates with a candle after our very enjoyable dinner. A thoughtful treat. My husband enjoyed a round of golf. My stay only got better when I found out the hotel was running a yoga and wellness weekend in honour of St Brigid. Yoga classes by Mona were very relaxing, a wellness walk around the grounds with Jo were super enjoyable and informative and the day was rounded off with an amazing sound healing session with the wonderful Sue. I have never attended a session like this before and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I felt very spoilt, loved our stay and I am already looking at the calendar to plan a return visit. We rounded off our stay with a visit to the Straffan Inn, a lovely local bar made all the more enjoyable with complimentary drop off and pick up from the hotel. Super service, the staff are superb…I could keep gushing. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Just back from a lovely few days in Carton House. Everything about this hotel was pretty good. Spotlessly clean, food was lovely and the staff are all very friendly. Bar food in the clubhouse is very good and breakfast, served in beautiful part of the original house is delicious. Rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. Most of which are in the new part of the hotel. Ground are lovely and beautifully maintained. All in all a most enjoyable few days was had, I’ll hopefully be back.

Stunning experience from start to finish. Arun on reception checking us in was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Lovely and smiley, kind and so helpful! The grounds were lovely, hotel gorgeous also. Food and cocktails were delicious. Waiter in the fire and salt restaurant (young Irish man, early-mid 20s (?)) was really really lovely, as was a young waitress with a dark ponytail. Your staff are a credit to you. Room was clean, bright, modern - couldn’t fault it. Spa was lovely too - a must if you can! High pitched noise woke us around midnight but that was an alarm from one of the neighbouring houses and so was not within the realm of the hotel’s responsibilities so cannot fault this - but may be an issue if you’re a light sleeper in the back of the hotel. Overall a really lovely stay in a fabulous hotel and I would definitely recommend. Already looking at packages to return soon.

This hotel has all anyone needs from a break away it is ideally located next to a lovely vibrant town with the train station across the road trains run to dublin every half hour and if u are visiting croke park for gaa or gareth brooks then the way to travel is by train The staff throughout the hotel in all sectors are very helpful and friendly. the hotel ambiance is excellent and the food is superb their inhouse cafe shoda does coffee and brunch all day i highly recommend this hotel for all visitors liam meade

We recently visited Trim Castle Hotel as we wanted to go back and show our daughters where we were married. We were so pleased to see that the hotel was just as good as we remembered! The girls were delighted to see a teepee and some gifts in the room. We were also really impressed by the size of the family room, which had a king size bed, another double, a sofa bed as well as the teepee. We ate in the hotel restaurant, taking advantage of the kids eat free deal. There was a great choice of food for both adults and on the children’s menu and we all really enjoyed the meal. We had booked a private cinema experience which was just amazing! With plenty of snacks and drinks provided, it was a real treat for all the family! Breakfast didn’t disappoint either - delicious food and super attentive staff always on hand to tip up our drinks! An absolutely amazing hotel with beautiful views of the Castle. We all really enjoyed our stay and will be back again soon!

Relaxing week-end break not too far from home, with cycling and walking featuring. Beautiful autumn colour throughout the extensive grounds and the weather obliged too. Hotel comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner was disappointing the first evening, but very good on 2nd evening. Pleasant music in bar on Sat night also. Breakfast was good, however, more obvious choice of hot food would be good - eg omelettes, scrambled eggs etc.
