The room is not big, but the location is super good. The hotel's garden is also very nice, and it's quite nice to take photos. The breakfast is not as delicious as the Peninsula in Shanghai, but it is better than the beautiful scenery. The location is really great and worth staying. The service was very good. Because we were on our honeymoon with my husband, we sent an email to the hotel and prepared champagne and cake for us. btw, the chocolate cake given is delicious!

What an amazing week in a magical part of the Maldivian paradise. It had been a dream of ours to visit the Maldives and our stay at Six Senses exceeded all expectations - this is largely due to the exceptional care we received from our GEM Tanny. From our initial arrival to recent departure Tanny ensured our days and nights were filled with memorable activities and exceptional service from all the staff. Warm, kind and hugely knowledgeable, it was fascinating to talk to Tanny each day - thank you. There is so much to say about this holiday… the sea plane transfer from Male to Laamu was spectacular; Six Senses resort and water villas stunningly beautiful; incredible sea life on the house reef and sea grass meadows, exceptional restaurants and a jam packed programme of activities, on water and land - whatever the weather. We particularly enjoyed the yoga and spa workshops; Teppenyaki dining expereience, in addition to the Maldivian cookery class and chocolate workshops with resort Head Chefs. But what really distinguishes Six Senses is it’s commitment to sustainability and protecting the environment. The new Shell centre with its team of marine biologists and laboratories is absolutely fascinating- we really enjoyed the talks and exploring reefs with such passionate and dedicated staff. Learning how the restaurants are growing many of the ingredients used in our delicious meals - even grinding spices for curries and cocoa beans to make delicious chocolates- it’s seriously impressive… We also must mention the fact that the resort philosophy is to walk bare foot - which is only made possible by the team of ladies who sweep away leaves and foliage every morning (I noticed you on my many morning runs) and the gentlemen who regularly smooth over the paths with fresh sand… THANKYOU! So we leave for home totally rejuvenated. We didn’t manage to do everything in one week so I guess we may have to return again…

First location, the good hotel in Istanbul has a four seasons beside the old town attractions, others are around the macaka park, is a highland, there are many restaurants around, but have to take a taxi to the attractions. The hotel is second only to the bay in booking, but I think the location is better than the four seasons. The four seasons and Shangri-La are surrounded by several piers and bus terminals. That is noisy... All the restaurants in Istanbul have chocolate Suffolk, which is a good dessert, and the best is St. Regis's hazelnut chocolate Suflei, the 7th floor restaurant, and discounts for guests. 1st day arrived when we check-in our room, it is blocked by another tower building, after talked to Akin understand that there is a wedding, all room are being booked, they can help me to change another room next day, hence, next day after our breakfast, Ms Raziye managed help us with a better view room. On our last day, Ms Assel also give us some good advices; concierge gentlemen also give us a lot of good advices on local food! All the staffs are very friendly. Love this place.
