Top 10 Frohsinn Hotels

I am writing this review on behalf of my father who was and is staying at the Hotel ARTE for years now. This hotel can only be reviewed with an excellent review. They always went above and beyond for my father on his business trips and he could even always stay in his favourite room. Additionally it was the little things that stuck out. For example did my father never need the content of the mini bar and they cleared it every time for him to ensure to have enough space to refrigerate his dinner he brought with him. On a general note, the hotel was very clean, also when I was staying there for one stay. Last but not least the staff needs to get a big shoutout, as they are incredibly friendly and always try their best to accommodate all the guest’s wishes. All in all a definite recommendation for a stay in the Olten/Solothurn area.

We did stay from Dec 31st, 2022 to Jan 1st, 2023 in two rooms on the third floor. Everything was clean and neat. Modern rooms with enough space and a large bath. Comfortable beds and all well maintained. Check-in and check-out were fast and all service personnel was very very friendly and helpful. On top free entrance to the Formula-1 museum and the large impressive Aquarium on the lower floor with restaurant. There is plenty of parking space too so altogether a great and relaxing stay. Stayed 2 nights Movenpick Egerkingen with a group of tourist. Nice spacious airy rooms. Everything working order. Shower a little weak but maybe because my room is on the fifth floor. The receptionist Check in was fast and efficient. Did not get her name but was a Turkish lady who’s been with the hotel for 3-4years. Very polite kind and helpful. Another staff worth mentioning is Julia, she’s was very efficient, smiley and willing to help. Breakfast was great and friendly staff who goes out of the way to please. During my stay, coincided with many bus loads of Indian tourist. Amidst all the chaos, the staff went above to serve us. Great job. Will live to stay again. Joseph

A little problem, at first, to understand how it works, but once I understand everything is well, but at least a little German or English must be spoken to get access to the structure. There is no reception, but a computer to enter the data, it is possible to do this in several languages, including the Italian. I didn't go to call the service at 22:00, I was also little illuminated, I missed a lamp that illuminated the room, there were only those small on the codlaws. Whoever sleeps with 2 coats or wants other covers/ pioneers to ask why they are not in the room. In the corridor there is a corner to make coffee or tea, cups suitable for express and cappuccino, but a little small for the tea, this corner also found it too little illuminated. Excellent breakfast with very friendly staff. Free parking. If I had to go back to Schönenwerd for one night or two, I would go back to this hotel.
