"We had stayed at the Residenza di Ripetta in 2019, when the world was a very different place, but loved it and Rome so much we had booked for another visit well in advance of Covid 19. We left off cancelling as long as we could and thank goodness we did. We needed this trip more than we realised. The hotel had very few guests, but this was not apparent from the excellent service. Yes, the breakfast was nowhere near as expansive as before, and was of course served to you, but I expect once the guests increase again the options will likewise increase. To increase cash flow there were many more evening events to draw folks in, and for sure that gardens we much busier along with the hotel restaurant’s outside service. And yes - the nearby Piazza del Popolo still had all manner of entertaining (but socially distanced) events to enjoy during your evenings la passeggiata. There are a number of excellent osteria and trattoria within 15 minutes walk (see other reviews) and each night we enjoyed a final glass of wine in the hotels beautiful gardens. Particular thanks to Joaquin, who worked in the evenings, who was friendly and informative. A nice guy and a credit to the hotel. I heartily a stay at the great place. It is well managed, perfectly located and Covid 19 responsible. And of course Rome is always an amazing city to visit. Thanks Residenza di Ripetta!"
"The hotel is a typical Roman-style hotel, the traditional atmosphere, the location alarm clock is quiet, next door is the pedestrian street, and next door can go to the Spanish steps, and it is also a step away from the People's Square. Most of the guests are foreigners, even Asians are very few, not to mention Chinese, breakfast or night bar is basically very good, no one grabs, waste. And the older friends who travel out are mostly. The facilities are slightly old, but the room is quite big, a living room and a bedroom. The bathroom is slightly smaller, and the shower curtains are all attached to the body when taking a bath, unless the water is splashed outside. The toilet has no toilet, and it is sloppy. There is a safe in the room, there is a closet, and a refrigerator. Every day, I cleaned it, but I forgot to give the tissues, and the details were a little bit worse. It may also be that we are Asians, the communication is not smooth, the hotel is not cold or hot for us except for the little brother at the door. Overall is good, go to the farthest Vatican for more than half an hour. The nearest People's Square is 5 minutes, the steps are 10 minutes, and the arena is 30 minutes."
"The location is very good, it is very convenient to eat and shop around. It is very good to have a good dinner at 10 o'clock and go back to the yard to have a tea chat. The room is ok too. In this position, the price/performance ratio is very high. The only inconvenience is that the hotel room should be washed and washed. I booked three rooms for two days. I accidentally had no room. It was very troublesome and it took more than two hours. Later, I can only book one day, not the same three room types, the price of each order is not the same. If there is no room at the time of the key reservation, it should be displayed and cannot be booked. After the payment, I will tell me what the network problem is scheduled to fail. Later, I asked Ctrip customer service to know that there is no room."

"I have nothing but amazing things to say about this property! 1. Location: Away from so many busy touristy areas, while being close enough to walk anywhere. You feel like you are at home the second you walk in. They know who you are. 2. The rooms are fabulous, with modern design with elegance. 3. BREAKFAST: If you have had breakfast in Italy before, especially coming from America, you already know what to expect... but have you had JK Places? They have such a FABULOUS variety of breakfast foods, including yogurts/green juices/eggs/egg whites/fruit (best mango I have ever had) and more. Much more ideal than your typical croissant and coffee breakfast elsewhere. 4. Service is top-notch! I have never had a client dislike a Place property, but having recently been myself to experience it... I am confident in saying you cannot go wrong by choosing this location if you like smaller boutique hotels with all the amenities! \ - Custom Travel J"
"My wife, daughter and I recently returned from a 4 night stay at the JK Roma over the thanksgiving holiday. My wife and I had stayed here before and we knew we had to return when taking our daughter for her first trip to Italy. It certainly lived up to our memories our our first stay here. This is just an excellent boutique hotel in one of the best locations in Rome. The rooms are immaculate with some of the nicest bathrooms I have ever seen. The breakfast and bar in the hotel were excellent - my daughter was thrilled with the options. The fresh orange juice in the morning was particularly memorable. The concierge service was excellent - they helped us secure some of the more difficult restaurant reservations during our stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a world-class boutique hotel in Rome."
"From the moment you walk in til your last ciao the hotel staff are incredible. No ask is too much and they are all willing to help. We had booked our 20th anniversary trip in 3/2020. Since the initial booking the hotel was incredibly accommodating on several rebookings due to Covid. Once we were finally in Rome our four nights at JK were perfect. The amenities are plentiful, plush towels, luxurious toiletries (no need to pack your own), turn down service, room service, and there are many more. Really just a wonderful place to stay and celebrate our love."

"A perfect experience, definitely not lost to the Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental Hotel, every detail is perfect and exquisite. The bed is big enough and the bathroom is super luxurious. Breakfast is on the 6th floor and is rich and exquisite, overlooking Rome. Location is also good, walk to Plaza de España for 5 minutes. With an 11-year-old child, there is no extra charge at the hotel. In short, it is a memorable and memorable life!"

"Wow! What an amazing surprise in the Eternal City! I have been hunting for an exceptional Roman hotel for the past few years and while I had previously gotten close, the De Russie clears all the bars with ease. From the first interaction with the Concierge, the staff is warm, friendly, solicitous (without being pushy) and accommodating. The staff is truly proud of the hotel and take their jobs very seriously. Dinner in the Garden is amazing! Breakfast in the Garden is even better! The food is incredible! I am so glad I selected this hotel!"
"We stayed at this hotel for a few nights in January. From the bellman to the front desk staff, bar & restaurant staff and even the cat who greeted us at front desk…the service is outstanding! Our room was overlooking the beautiful gardens. Such a peaceful place right in the heart of Rome. I would definitely come back!"
"The breakfast is very good and rich in variety, with comb honey available. The hotel is in an excellent location. There are many famous shops on the street. It's about 5 minutes' walk from the Spanish Steps. You can see the monument of People's Square on the balcony."

"This review is the same i posted on booking.com - to which the hotel, kindly replied. Only reason for not putting a 3/5, but a more generous 4/5. Liked · Spacious room, clean and very quiet. The environment and feeling is one of a luxury residence, but they should not pretend to be more. Services and staff ruined the experience (with exception for two ladies at the floor who tried to help with covid-testing and prints of documents). Staff at the ground level is far from educated to deliver a quality hospitality service. Random indications, judgemental as they were not there to work for you. Disliked · Facilities - this location is not fit for anything else other than sleeping. No room for proper business meetings, no services and no space for it. No parking facilities and the expensive valet service is very slow (up to 50 min!!!). Room service by Zuma is ridiculous. Expensive and not worthy. Breakfast gets next to 0. Poor, inaccurate, slow. They basically took orders and (I guess) call the bar downstairs... and bring you random items."
"Amazing location, we walked everywhere. We stayed in Suite 1 and had a lovely view. Every day there was classical music being played on the street and we could watch and listen at the window. Staff were all very lovely and professional and were good at English. Every night we would come back to our room and fresh chamomile tea was waiting for us which I thought was a really nice touch. I also really appreciated the amount of bottled water we got as I drink a lot of water. The breakfast provided was basic but I had no problem with it, same breakfast you get at any hotel. I found it strange that no smaller face washers were provided, only larger hand towels and would have expected some sort of wine on arrival for it to have a luxurious feel. We also found in our room we could hear water trickling I think a water pipe was behind the wall. Only small inconveniences tho, overall it was lovely and we will definitely stay there again."
"FENDI's first concept hotel in the world is more like a lifestyle experience hall. A full set of Fendi Casa, Karl Lagerfeld photography works, unique lamps, fur stitching, artwork... Because the hotel has only 7 suites, and they are all located on the same floor, it feels more at home, and the public space is more like a big house The living room, corridor, living room...a bit of living under the same roof, the decoration details are very exquisite, and it beats the Armani hotel🤘 The only problem is that there are no children's slippers, toothbrushes, etc., the bar on the top floor is like a nightclub, and children are not allowed to enter..."

"We stayed at the Hotel De La Ville for a weekend in March. Location is perfect, on top of the famous Spanish steps. From the first moment, the hotel team gave us the attention and feeling, as if we were the only guests they ever had, and it is very important for them to make sure that we're pleased. Starting from the booking process, into the check-in, staying and last – the checkout. We received a quick tour in the hotel facilities – this is really a very beautiful hotel. The room (Delux) was very comfortable, with a nice view, and the bed… wow! I've been to many hotels in my life, but this was by far the most comfortable bed I've ever had. The cleaning staff is well organized making sure that our room is clean and ready. The only one note I'll mention is, that my husband is vegan, and we made sure during the reservation that he will be accommodate accordingly during breakfasts. However, in the first breakfast – they didn't have the required items. Still, the hotel staff quickly made a turnaround, asking exactly what we'd like, and made sure to have these items prepared for next days. The food manager and team were great, making sure that we're pleased and all our needs are being taken care of. I'd recommend to stay in this hotel during fall and spring, where you can enjoy the beautiful garden and rooftop. But even in bad weather days, the inside facilities are beautiful. The entire atmosphere of the hotel is very relaxing. We can't wait to our next visit in room, and will certainly return to this hotel. What an experience! Well done!"
"The hotel is beautiful, in a great location and although pricey the service is superb. The room was very nice, with a fantastic terrace. I must say, having been lucky to stay in many lovely hotels across the world, I have never experienced quieter air conditioning - very impressive, particularly in a building of this date! A huge shout out to the amazing concierge service. Christian in particular was pivotal in making our trip to Rome what it was. A mark of a fine hotel is the service they provide and, from weeks in advance, the concierge were on hand to assist us plan our trip (essential to experience everything you want to in this amazing city). The only negative is the spa, I would unfortunately advise any other guests to avoid a treatment. The massages are incredibly expensive, which could be justified given the location, but the ‘deep tissue’ massage was nothing close to it (and shouldn’t be named as such given it is a specialty) and, to add insult to injury, they did not last 60 minutes as they started about 15 minutes late. I can see other travellers have unfortunately had similar experiences. Other than the spa - truly fantastic hotel for a wonderful break in the eternal city!"
"I took my husband here to celebrate a special birthday two years late due to Covid! The location is perfect every sightseeing spot in Rome is no more than 40 minutes walk away and we only took a taxi once in 4 days. My feet are wrecked though! We had a beautiful room and we’re given a free upgrade. The service is excellent and very discreet. I only had to call housekeeping once as and they were with me within 5 minutes. Excellent breakfast, nice bars. We didn’t eat in the hotel as we didn’t want to miss out on the atmosphere of Rome. Concierge was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again but will have to save up!"

"The hotel service was very good. After checkin someone was delivered to the room and explained the room facilities. The room was clean and the bedding was comfortable. I saw some people say that breakfast is simple, but I think it is very good. Breakfast abroad is coffee + bread + ham + cheese. The breakfast variety is rich. There is a Samsung Michelin restaurant on the 6th floor of the hotel. It is booked in advance. This restaurant has no a la carte menus, and the package is arranged. The service fee is quite high. It costs more than 1,100 euros for two people. . The location of the hotel is very good, the Plaza of Spain, convenient shopping and walking, not far from various attractions, taxi is very convenient in the past. The hotel does not have a parking lot, and the area is a no-go zone. Passes or locals can drive to the door, so it is convenient to take a taxi. In the end, there is a habit of collecting tips. I think the service is good and I can give it."
"Deserves to be a five-star hotel, the service is amazing, and the bedding is very comfortable. Excellent location right on top of the Spanish steps. Because I booked six nights, I got a free room with a small balcony. As soon as I entered the room, I was pleasantly surprised. There were welcome fruits and a welcome card with my name printed on it (still bilingual in Chinese and English). The cleaning service is professional and clean. Free water and chocolate every day and a bottle of red wine. There is a Mixing restaurant on the sixth floor of the hotel. Unfortunately, I did not go to taste this time. Before I left, I went to the restaurant on the first floor of his house. Angus steak was superb and delicious. In short, such a hotel is worth going to Rome again."
"The best hotel in Rome, Italy, in the Plaza de Espana, the Plaza de Espana is downstairs. Shopping and shopping are very convenient. The only drawback is that private cars can enter and leave the area within a limited time, taxis and hotels' own cars can. The hotel specially upgraded the room type for me, the room size is right, the bathroom is large and the facilities are advanced. The only drawback is that the hotel does not have Chinese-speaking service staff. The menu on the first floor restaurant is English and Italian. I ca n’t read and ca n’t understand Chinese, which is a bit awkward."

"The St. Regis is everything you expect of a five star hotel experience. We were last in Rome and the St. Regis in 2017 and, if anything, the experience has only improved. During the intervening years the hotel completed a major renovation that, while modernizing the rooms, managed to retain the Old World elegance for which it was so well known. The modern lighting that allow you to brighten or dim each room is particularly pleasant. As always, any hotel experience is not determined by the decorating and room amenities, but by the staff. Here in Rome you will find staff members who have been with the hotel for more than thirty years like Guilio, the concierge. We especially enjoyed starting our day with breakfast prepared by Cristiano, who remembered us from five years ago. Tourism in Rome can be hard work and a day spent walking on cobblestones can leave you with aching feet and ankles. Returning to the St. Regis at the end of the day is like returning to an island of pampered luxury. It’s really something to look forward to."
"This hotel is luxurious with classical decor and architecture. Perfect! The public areas are so inviting and stunning with their design. The room was immaculate as we had a suite. Very spacious too! Service is off the charts. One observation I made here is whoever is in charge of hiring does an unbelievable job! Seriously, every single person we interacted with was genuinely friendly with hospitality foremost on their minds. My wife and I felt like a king and queen. The bedding was fresh and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was amazing as well. It is an enormous breakfast buffet with eggs and omelets cooked to order. Love the smoothie machine where you make your own. This is a five star experience all the way and have to say it is one of the best if not the best hotel we have ever stayed! Hopefully, we can return again! Highly recommend."
"From the moment we walked in until checkout we were treated with nothing less than customer service PERFECTION! From the chef at the egg station at breakfast to the amazing Concierge Mario, to the restaurant managers and waitstaff ... I get the sense that the management and staff there are obsessed with the customer's experience. The staff there delivers nothing less than an amazingly warm, welcoming and memorable experience. The breakfast is truly amazing (so don't miss it!) as is the lunch and dinner in their main restaurant. Our suite was beautiful and immaculately kept. I can't see any reason to stay anywhere else in Rome! Grazie, St. Regis for making our stay in Rome that much more memorable! "

"My colleagues and I checked in on the 23rd Nov evening and checked out on the 27th Nov afternoon. The room and location were great. The only thing that ruined the entire stay was the front office lady Claudia (unless she gave me a fake name when I asked for it) When we checked in, we were briefed by the lady, Claudia, that for the breakfast it was included and that we could order one egg per person (we had four pax in our room btw). Any additional eggs we ordered would be charged. We are extremely sure as all of us heard it. Every morning, we only ordered four eggs (one egg per person). When we checked out, she did not even presenting to me to the room charges and rushed to ask for my credit card - charging it 481 euros quickly. Of which, 200 euros were for the eggs that we were told on check-in day that were included. The best part was that the eggs tasted quite bad and pathetic too. When I approached her about it during check-out, She gave the worst attitude ever. I used to work for Luxury Hotels before I started a Venture Capital and I have stayed in countless countless 5-star hotels. But to-date, this is by far was one of the worst service I have received in my life. The lady Claudia was not only rude and nonchalant but she kept refusing to do anything about it (with zero service recovery) From my line of work, staff with such service should never belong in the hotel industry. The sum is not huge. But it really reflects the dishonesty of the service staff and it is extremely distasteful. She only apologised it was her mistake at the end. But she did not do anything about the erroneous charges. Nonetheless, the other staff like the Filipino Bell-Boy and other ladies had great service. They were extremely helpful and kind with their assistance. When we were charged for the eggs, the bell-boy recognised the injustice and agreed with us our situation as well. The property should really focus on better service recovery to prevent such a distasteful Definitely the worst service attitude I have received from a so-called 5 star so far."
"The door is small and there is almost no lobby, but the service is good Good hygiene, Bvlgari toiletries The most worth mentioning is the rich breakfast, enough for one person and four people, and it is delivered directly to the room It's very close to the central area. A few hundred meters away is the Wishing Pool. By the way, I went to the famous street. If it is not good, you will hear the sound of large garbage trucks and delivery trucks at three or four in the morning. The rooms are not large anyway, all rooms in Europe are like this, one person is enough"
"The hotel is in an excellent location, just outside Venice Square, walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Plaza Spain, and the Colosseum. The service is also very good, the toiletries are from Bvlgari, and the extra bed previously requested is also made early. It was originally a small and fine hotel, so the room was not particularly large, but everything else was good. Breakfast was delivered to the room, and all kinds of bread, jam, coffee, milk, and foreigner's breakfast were just that, it was rich. Will consider living here again"
